Basic clean room. It’s actually in a good spot close to restaurants and such.

The fact that getting enough towels and wash clothes for the 4 that were staying for 4 days was so incredibly hard to comprehend! Plus, there was blood on the hand towel in the room when we arrived, and the rest didn’t look clean either! Rooms dirty too!

Breakfast was good. Would be better if eggs were available. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was an odd smell in the room...maybe from cleaning supplies. The floor wasn't super clean. Everything else in the room was clean.

The toilet was not because it was stopped up. The maintenance man had to come in to put a vacuum on it to unstop it. Which he did. But when I was able enter the room for the first time, I saw that the room was very clean, even the bathroom was too. Except the toilet had toilet paper that was not flushed. So I flushed it and I thought it was going to run over. That’s when I brought the office in on the problem. And it was taken care of.

Ample parking, comfortable bed. I did not try breakfast however, my husband walked up to the breakfast room a little bit after 9am for coffee. Every thing was gone. A nice male staff made him coffee and offered a few muffins. Thank you!

The African man lie and said I smoked in the room and we didn’t And the property manager said he wasn’t giving my money back And they charge u if any of these stuff are misplaced they will charge you they go in your room when your not there

They need to fix ac and get beds they’re horrible not comfortable your back will hurt so if your traveling better bring air mattress and the front manager is rude and staring at unlike you trying to take their cheap breakfast Ac not working properly and beds suck and the manager rude as hell

Norman worked an issue promptly and we enjoyed our stay again.

The fact I had to call 3 times because they forgot to put my paper in the proper stack for the return of deposit. And it took me calling over and over for them to do anything about it or I wouldn't have gotten my deposit back at all.

But the hotel is in dire need of a remodel. The room felt old, with several outlets had damage on the faceplaces, making me wary about using them. The AC was very loud and rattled a lot, even on low settings. In the end it was a decent place to stay for a night, and the free breakfast was pretty good, but overall, it needs a lot of TLC

The lights outside the rooms are just so bright and the curtains do not block all the light so it's hard to sleep well. The beds are not very comfortably either i think they're full. Was a hard stay its clean but not all that comfortable.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. AC unit was loud and breakfast hours ended early.

Swimming pool and parking were very nice.

The first room was horrible ! Smelt bad and was dirty !! The nice desk man quickly moved us to a different room and it was better but this is not the typical Wyndham experience . Would not stay her again .

The room had a smell when we first arrived, but went away after the first night. The breakfast was not up to par had advertised. The tub in the bathroom was clogged with hair and the plug would not stay up while showering. Wanted a first floor room, but had to take a second floor, have a bad leg and no elevator to second floor.

The bathroom towels were super dirty. Everything else appeared relatively clean but the towels were a huge deal breaker. Front desk worker was super kind and respectful

Check in was easy buwhen we walked in our room it smelled strongly of cigarette/vape or other smoke. Being allergic to smoke caused a headache and I had to drive to get air freshener to spray down the chair (which was badly stained) and bed and the air and curtains. There were missing knobs on the dresser drawers. Aside from the smoke smell the dirtiness of the bathroom was ridiculous. The bathroom floor had not been mopped and streaks of whatever had run down the bathroom wall and door.

Black mold in bathroom. Bedding had fresh stains and when I took the Bedding to the office I was told they didn't have anything to replace it with. Had to go to the office for towels and coffee pods. The airconditioner didn't work properly. My room was not cleaned for 4 days. Ice machine was broken. Will not stay there again.

This was a nice place to stay. It was pretty quiet as around there, easy parking, and GREAT CUSTOMER service at check in!! The only issue was that the towels and wash clothes where stained and we was told a lot of the towels where stained. The house keeper was sweet as well! Look forward to returning (with my own towels ) lol

I had the police called to remove me from the hotel because I brought a muffin and coffee from the complimentary breakfast back to my private room. Apparently, you have to have your breakfast in their eating area??? I have never heard of such a thing and have stayed at plenty of hotels. I always eat privately in my room where I can take my medication with food as required.

The owner is a total ass. They try to keep your deposit on any little thing. They like to control how many guest you have and when you can have them. Probably want stay there again..

It was a non-smoking room that smelled like smoke. There was mold on all sink and bathroom fixtures. The sheets had unknown stains on them. Crevices had not been cleaned in quite some time and there were unknown sticky substances on the desk and dresser surfaces. Hard no on staying there again!

checked into hotel went into the room smelled like a box of cigarettes. walked right out I refused to stay in a place like that. felt very unsafe in the area, wouldn't stay there if it was the last hotel rather sleep in my car. they had me sign a paper that said non smoking room but it smelled like a ashtray.

Would not recommend for a good budget choice for a family. I’ve stayed at microtels before in much better condition which is why I was disappointed in the quality. This one needs an update or a good cleaning. If you are a single man just needing to rest your head, this is for you. Otherwise do not waste your $127.

I left it was so bad didn’t stay five minutes and we are on the run from Helene so I literally had no where else to go still haven’t gotten my security deposit back!

This is a decent hotel for the price. But, you get what you pay for - breakfast was very poor quality, floors in room were dirty, towels were small, some mold in the caulking around the bathtub, the room refrigerator froze our leftovers, AC wasn't working upon our arrival, etc. On the positive side, the beds were fairly comfortable.

It was close to where my meeting was and surrounded by high quality restaurants and downtown. It was pretty quiet as well. However, the room smelled like smoke and I ended up with a migraine and asthma attack. The room was not as clean as it could have been either. Also, the room was not energy efficient as evidenced by 1. quarter inch gaps surrounding the door, which mean that the room was never cooler than 70 degrees and the A/C ran all night. Lastly, the morning breakfast leaves a lot to be desired and if you have food/ dietary restrictions you can't even eat the food.

When I arrived in my room it had a musty odder, there was trash still in trash cans. Bed sheets had holes in them, shower curtain had holes and was coming apart at the top. The beeakfeat was a joke. The milk was warm and all but empty. The cups of fruit and yogurt was warm…and the best part was the mini and I mean mini microwave sauage biscuits. The pool was dirty had leafs and other items floating in it…the pool area was small with barely enough room to walk past someone using a chair to layout.

Extremely disappointed with the free breakfast. At 7:30 the offerings consisted of waffles with no butter, 8 slices of bread, 6 muffins, and 6 sausage sandwiches.

Came here a couple times to visit family members. Front desk friendly. Rooms clean and modernize. Fridge and microwave. Quiet. No loud music nor smell of smoke. No one soliciting. Hot breakfast. Lots of restaurants around and mall strips.

I felt very safe, respected & welcome. Staff were great… I did feel that the room’s could have been a little cleaner. My room was very dusty but other than that my stay was wonderful. I’ll definitely come back & suggest Baymont to others… thank you…

The room smelled so strong like some sort of cleaning solution or mouth balls. We had to air out the room for a while after we checked in. The beds are full size l, not queen. The walls are paper thin. The hvac in our room was so loud, it kept waking us.

Only complaint bed sheets had somebody else hair in the bed so i went n purchased my own blanket and the towels in the bathroom hair someone elses hair in them luckily i brung my own towel n wash cloth

The hotel was decent, good location, close to downtown hickory and not too far from boone. However, the night we check in a very unfriendly and quite rude woman was at the front desk. The hotel room was 8/10 on cleanliness and the breakfast in the morning was always good.

The Baymount hotel is a good hotel. I usually don't have any thing bad to say. But on this last trip, i notice that the floor in my room was dirty, like it hasn't been moped in a long time. Also i notice moled on the ceiling in the bathroom. Overall its a good place to stay. Its close to about everything in Hickory NC. I will stay there again. They also had no problem with me having my ESA dog with me.

The price was fine and the room conveniently located but there were no chairs in the room and some issues with other guests leaving there meals on the ground and cigarette butts and talking loudly out side at 4am. My throw on my bed had a cigarette burn in it and when we moved the beds there were playing cards and debris.

The breakfast could have been alot better than frozen biscuits and sausage or toast with a toaster. But other than that it was a nice stay.

Needs some updating. Front desk could take life a little less seriously and smile and try to be friendly. Bath tub needs painted lots of peeling and black marks…and moldy caulking under mirror thought it was dirt.

The property was not taken care of and the staff could care less. Tons of drug activity and heavy traffic in and out. Neighbors were noisy until 4am most nights so we hardly got any sleep. Stayed for 5 nights and the pool was not cleaned the entire time of our stay even after making multiple complaints. The first night we was there we realized we had mold in our bathroom we asked for a refund and they refused to give us a refund for the other 4 nights that we did not want to stay instead they came and “cleaned” the mold…due to no refund we stuck it out the other 4 nights miserably. The free breakfast was a joke compared to what I’ve had at other hotels. Felt unsafe the entire time I was there I was worried to leave my room. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra to stay at one of nicer hotels in the area because this place isn’t worth the little bit of money you save.

David, the night clerk went above board to make sure that I was taken care of. My reservation was for the wrong weekend and he spoke with expedia while i was present and got everything worked out. The tv remote didn't work and he made sure that was taken care of by providing me with another remote. Whatever they're paying this man isn't enough.

The staff i think it may have been the manager there was rude and even went as far as to call me out of my name. Will never stay there again!!

When we pulling into our parking space outside our room, a person came down the stairs from second story and walked over to another car that was parked in the parking lot. He proceeded to do a drug deal. I did not feel safe!!

I did not like the cleanliness of the hotel room. There was dried up urine on the back on the toilet seat when we arrived and the picture on the wall above the headboard of one of the beds has cracks in the glass of the frame that was duct taped back up to keep from continuing from breaking. That is very unsafe.

Hotel was alot better than expected. It was very quiet, property wasnt trashy and the room was very clean and comfortable. Never saw a bug of any kind. Jayden the girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful with getting us towels for our 3 night stay. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting a good nights stay that's clean and quiet.
