I took pictures, which I can send. I also showed the photos to the front desk upon check out. The front desk agent apologized.

The property was clean and well maintained. The only negative comment I have is you have to pay extra for parking in the hotel’s lot. I would understand this extra charge if this was a downtown Portland establishment but an extra parking charge in Hillsboro…come on…. Call it what it is… an add on that allows your room rates to look lower but still get more revenue

breakfast was the typical continental with lots of options plus hot scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage depending on the day. Yes it was fresh and hot. They have a nice coffee area separate from the food buffet area.

it was okay, paid a little bit more than our typical competition hotel brand (BW), thinking this might be a little nicer, and it was not, at all. Additionally as we arrived we were informed they implemented a new parking fee, so we were required to pay extra to park in an outside lot behind the building, just another money grab by this property.
- 5/5
I forgot to closely check the written amenities lists & fees, so was surprised that we ended up paying $12/ day for parking in the hotel lot. There was other parking all around the hotel, so be aware of that.
- 5/5
Room was spotless and well appointed. Common spaces were nice. Staff was wonderful from check-in staff to the breakfast staff everyone was on point and so pleasant! Thanks!

Pool/hottub wasn't open late enough, tv was hard to watch laying in bed, $5 water seemed high should be complimentary
- 5/5
The room was clean, quiet, and spacious enough for my family. My wife said it was her favorite hotel we stayed at. Keep up the great work! Breakfast didn't have too many choices for my children.

Suite hotel, pet friendly, free breakfast A bit outdated bathroom, lobby and overall, the pet fee was quite high compared to other properties.

The room was clean upon entry but the under bed was not. It looked like it had bugs on it or maybe dirty? I’m not sure but regardless we decided not to use it. I loved how big the room was, the girls said they tried the pool but it was cold, it was fine though. The breakfast staff by far exceeded my expectations. The gal restocking and cleaning everything was so kind, patient and attentive to everyone. She heard me talking about wanting a straw for my baby and she went ahead and got one for me and brought it to our table. No questions asked. Then she heard my baby crying, and she started playing with her to make her happy. Overall I was just very satisfied and happy with the staff.

Very nice staff and clean hotel. Would stay here again.
- 3/5
the room looks clean but the carpet smells
- 2/5
I think the front desk staff may need a little more training in checking in expedia clients
- 5/5
It worked really well, only issue was not quite enough room to pull out trundle mattress out of sleeper couch, one person just slept on couch without opening consequently.
- 5/5
Didnt know they charged $12 to park.
- 5/5
After 6 days it was nice to find a quiet place with friendly staff and clean room
- 4/5
This hotel was ok. The room layout was weird...tv mounted to a wall facing the desk and hard to see from the bed or the couch. Pool was nice but cold. Breakfast had hot and cold options and was good. Bed was comfy and room was quiet. Coffe in lobby and in the room was terrible.

I came to play golf for a couple of days. I chose here because it had a hot tub. Great idea for after a round of golf. Well kind of a let down. Water was warm at best and jets had no pressure. So just a let down. They were also lacking staff. Never saw anyone except the gal that checked me in.
- 3/5
Got surprised by a $12/day parking charge that was not highlight or signed at check in. Manager was not interested in removing. There are literally free parking bays 5 yards from the parking lot on the street as well as free parking all around the hotel. How this hotel can justify a charge when the parking lot is not gated or has security. Park on the street for FREE. I will the next time.
- 3/5
Wasn’t aware you pay for parking! Be sure you no it’s a 12 fee to park.
- 5/5
Clean, good customer service.

There was a $12 fee charged to my cc for parking in the hotel parking lot. At no time was I made aware of this charge, or asked if I authorized a charge to my cc for this purpose. At check in I was asked for a cc for incidental or miscellaneous charges, but was not told specifically that there was a charge to park in the hotel parking lot. Won't stay there again because of that.
- 2/5
We were there for two nights and no one ever came to clean the room or make the bed. Otherwise, the rooms were fine and location was good (lots of shopping/restaurants nearby), just lacked in attention to detail
- 5/5
Friendly staff and clean rooms. Even though it was for just a day, I think it was a great place for the right price

Suite size was super roomy. Pool & hot tub combo was a huge hit. Easy parking and elevator access.
- 5/5
We stay there at least once a month love this hotel
- 5/5
Family likes it. Would stay there again for sure.
- 4/5
Starbucks right across the lot. Shower needs to be replaced, pool could use a good cleaning, carpets could use a steaming. Could be a super nice hotel if some money was put into an update.
- 2/5
The beds are terrible! So uncomfortable. Maids should check the alarm clocks when they service the room for the next guest, ours went off at 6 am

My stay at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Portland Hillsboro was truly heartwarming. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and cared for. The suite was spacious and thoughtfully designed, providing a comfortable haven after a busy day. Every little detail, from the cozy bed to the clean, modern amenities, reflected genuine care and quality. I left feeling refreshed and valued, and I look forward to my next visit.

The staff here is incompetent. I was charged for parking. I did not have a car nor did I give them any vehicle information. I was traveling with friends and they had rented a car. I had given them my debit card for incidentals. I noticed the charge on my mobile banking about 4 days after I had checked out and was back home. I called on Nov. 30 and spoke with staff who said she was sorry and would reverse the charge. I believed she would take care of it and did not think of it until the next Saturday, December 7. I called and spoke with a different employee. I explained what happened and she said to call back tomorrow because she was not a supervisor and could not take care of it. I called the next day, December 8 in the evening and spoke with another employee. I explained again what happened and she said that she would reverse it for me. I asked if she was a supervisor and she said "yes". That evening I checked my bank account and there was a credit so I thought OK, good. However, the next morning when I checked my bank account at 6 am, there was a charge by Springhill Suites for double the original parking charge! I was not happy to say the least. I immediately called (this is call #4) and spoke with an auditor who said that a supervisor would be in at 7:00 (in one hour) and that she would be able to take care of it. I called at 7:10 am that same morning (Dec. 9) and spoke with the supervisor. She apologized and said she would fix. It was still a charge two days later.

Last time we stayed, they had removed waffles from the weekday breakfast menu. This time they stopped providing lotion. Otherwise, our stay was fine.

My favorite hotel

Staff was responsive and really friendly. The rooms were clean and the hot breakfast was perfect. Would absolutely recommend 💕

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing from the moment we arrived. We checked in late at around 3 a.m. with three children in tow, only to find that the toilet in our room did not work. The hotel staff informed us that the only other available room had the same issue. This left the five of us with no choice but to use the lobby bathrooms, which were in terrible condition, every time we needed a restroom—regardless of the hour. Imagine dragging kids downstairs at 4 or 5 in the morning just to use the bathroom. The next day, we informed the staff that we couldn’t continue our stay without a functioning bathroom. Instead of offering a solution, they told us that because we booked through Expedia, we wouldn’t be eligible for a refund. This left us feeling trapped in a city we weren’t familiar with and a hotel that couldn’t meet our basic needs.Eventually, we were moved to another suite, but the toilet in that room also didn’t work. I have videos clearly showing that the toilet didn’t flush despite being empty. The worst part of our experience was the utter lack of customer service. The manager never once apologized or even acknowledged the inconvenience we were experiencing. When we went downstairs to change rooms, the manager actively avoided us, refusing to make eye contact, which only added to our frustration and disappointment. Overall, this was one of the most stressful stays.
- 5/5
Our family enjoyed staying at SpringHill Suites. We swam in the pool and played some card games in the evening. Enjoyed a really good breakfast in the morning and had enough time to go swimming and shower before noon check-out! The room was spacious and clean. I would stay here again. 😊

Employees were very personable.

Great staff. Clean!!
- 5/5
Very clean. I have stayed multiple times at this facility.
- 5/5
The unit was very clean and the staff were very friendly while responding to any requests.
- 5/5
Nice place with good pool area and hot tub
- 4/5
The breakfast was good, the beds super comfortable would definitely use this hotel again.
- 5/5
Clean. Friendly staff. Quiet (when I was there anyway).
- 4/5
The stay was very good. I believe the only change I would recommend or feedback. If you could change up the breakfast. After three to four days. Having eggs, potatoes Hash, and Turkey Sausage. It got old eating the same thing over and over.
- 3/5
Our stay was fine but I was charged $12 per day for parking without any prior notice that there was a charge for parking. When checking in I asked how much the security deposit was for and the person at the front desk said $40 but as long as none of it is spent it will all go back onto the card. I now have a charge for $24 for two days of parking when I was never told there would be a charge for parking.
- 5/5
Bed was comfortable
- 5/5
Breakfast was great. Pool was a bit cold but hot tub was great.
- 5/5
Convenient
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful and the property seemed new and well kept.
- 4/5
Good all around. Nothing to complain about, which is usually pretty easy these days.
- 5/5
Loved the pool and accommodations were comfortable and staff friendly.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, and safe. Left my car windows opened by mistake and nothing was stolen in the morning. Obviously is not Portland, that’s why :-).About 30 minutes from portland down town
- 5/5
Brenda at the front desk deserves 10 stars. She came through for my family in an unfortunate maintenance situation that arose while we were enroute to Portland. Communication was outstanding, and we could not have asked for a better outcome. Thank you Brenda!
- 5/5
We have stayed here before and every time we have it has never failed us. Thank you again for a great stay! We will definitely be back!
- 4/5
Hotel was nice and relatively clean (found a bug crawling on the floor and crumbs in the pull-out bed when we first arrived). We liked the layout of the room, it felt cozy with the couch, kitchen nook, bathroom in the middle, and there was a nice place to work on the desk. Breakfast was good with something that everyone in our family enjoyed (the potatoes were especially good). We didn't use the pool/hot tub... it seemed smaller than what the photos showed.

We have stayed several times. Our rooms were as far from the elevator as possible, and NOT by our request. Room was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast needs some changes. For all 5 days there were the same scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, and turkey sausage patties; boring. We learned later that waffles were only available on weekends; this really disappointed us. Why? We had been anticipating waffles available every day. Sure hope this gets changed.
- 2/5
The hotel looks nice, updated and at first sight, clean. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The biggest downfall I had is that the bed sheets did not look like they were changed at all. First thing I noticed was the smell of BO. I switched on the light to inspect the sheets and saw body hair on the sheets. I was also given a room with a clogged toilet. I called front dest for a plunger, they were very nice and accommodating but the plunger was no help. Fortunately I had a one night stay, it would have been a nightmare if it were longer.
- 4/5
They had a very good free breakfast!
- 5/5
Conveniently located with shopping and dining options nearby. All of the amenities that we look for in our lodging destinations.
- 5/5
This was a great hotel, many options for eating within walking distance. There was ample parking in the lot with easy access to the hotel. The breakfast was good, we didn’t realize that the waffle stands was only in the weekend but the variety in the oatmeal bar was a bonus. 24hr access to coffee, tea & water was great! E didn’t use the gym but the equipment looked very modern. The hotel concession was over priced so we didn’t use that, as there was many options near by. Access to Portland city was quick and easy- worth the savings for this great hotel overall.
- 5/5
Very pleasant thank you for you hospitality.
- 4/5
Had a great stay. Friendly staff. Clean!
- 5/5
This was the best Marriott Hotel we have stayed at! Also, the best breakfast and you have bars of soap by the sink! Thanks, will stay with you again when in the Portland area!
- 5/5
Staff were great!
- 5/5
Great staff, parking is VERY limited
- 2/5
It’s kind of a shame that it’s actually a really nice hotel mainly everything was updated but the service was really poor and the front desk lady seemed ignorant and lazy and not friendly, she shouldn’t be in customer service or hospitality if she doesn’t want to be friendly to people or inviting, trying to encourage people to enjoy their stay. She physically looked very sloppy and unpresentable able. Brought the whole quality of the hotel down. Marriott needs to hire better if they want to be viewed professionally.
- 5/5
Perfect location. Dinning options within walking distance.
- 1/5
Easy check in. Quiet rooms
- 3/5
The room had a funny smell to it, but the bed was cozy.
- 4/5
I was told hot tub was 102degrees. Felt barely hot. Otherwise perfect trip.
- 5/5
Convinient location. In walking distance to WINCO, Dick's Sporting Goods, Joann's Fabric and many dinning options. Easy on and off ramp to highways.
- 5/5
Friendly staff / Closed to stores if you need any travel items. However, I have notified the staff regards to my bed linens and pillow covers with multiple hair and yellow stain which was pretty gross. They have told me that I have to notify the staff 24 hours in advance for them to clean the room but they provided linens and pillow covers for me to replace my own...? It was okay but they can definitely do better for the customer. Overall I enjoyed staying at the hotel.
- 5/5
This property is what you expect from a Marriott property and the staff did a good job keeping up with the breakfast.
- 4/5
We really liked the location to many restaurants and shopping. All within walking distance! Seemed like the property was in a safe neighborhood and parking was easy and plenty places to park!
- 5/5
Very clean and staff was very welcoming
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Very nice! Did have to ask for extra towels as there were only 3 bath towels in a room that slept 6. Also had to ask for toilet paper. In both cases what we needed was quickly brought to our room. Breakfast was wonderful.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay, clean rooms and staff is so friendly
- 5/5
Overall great stay, friendly breakfast staff, all was great! The only missing part was a waffle maker for kids!
- 4/5

- 4/5
Comfortable but more traffic noise than I was expecting. Also some noisy guests at the hotel which is not the fault of the staff.

Other than that, it was amazing and the front staff were very nice very accommodating. We’d go back if we’re ever in the area again.

- 3/5
Location was great, room was clean- but was super soft and shower lever wouldn’t go up all the way so shower stream was so light I could barely rinse shampoo out of my hair. There was more water coming from faucet than the head. Breakfast was good and had great variety.
- 5/5
This property is clean and modern. Right next to several restaraunts.
- 5/5
First time here and I absolutely give a five star! Everything was great for me and my three other friends
- 5/5
I liked all the services, food and cleanliness
- 5/5
Enjoyed stay.

The front desk wouldn't let me check out early (I had to leave due to the potential of more severe weather). Finally a mysterious $40 charge after I checked out, even though I received an invoice with a balance of $0 when I called to check out (yes called, because I couldn't check out early).
- 4/5
Room was good, kids loved the pool. Food was good. We had to pay a pet cleaning fee which is understandable. But I got a 190$ charge on my debit card that the receptionist can’t tell what it’s for and it is not detailed on my emailed receipt.
- 5/5
We loved everything!
- 3/5
Breakfast was average. No bread.. just bagels.
- 5/5
Quiet and very close to restraunts and shopping.
- 5/5
Staff is really polite and genuine, no issues at all. We will definitely stay again.
- 3/5
Room arrangement was unique and not particularly easy to use. Housekeeping was not provided Bed (king) sheets were not large enough to stay on the bed while sleeping
- 3/5
Front desk services leaves a lot to be desired.

Everything was good but I stayed for 2 nights and they did not clean my rooms after the first night. It was not a problem as I was alone so had extra towels but if I had not been, it would have been problematic
