Reviews
The hotel has a great location, with many guests appreciating its proximity to the beach and local shops and restaurants. However, there is a significant amount of construction ongoing, which has led to the closure of amenities such as the pool and tiki bar, causing disappointment for many guests. The staff are generally praised for their friendliness and helpfulness.
- Great location
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Ongoing construction leading to closure of amenities
- Outdated rooms and facilities

Really nice location
- 4/5
The resort had a location that can't be beat, near the center of the island and walkable to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. It was clean but worn (most hotels along the water will be). It's hard to keep the humidity out but the room gave it a darn good try. We fell for the upsell of renting chairs from the Tiki Hut, but didn't realize they were set between the tiki bar and the volleyball court but it turned out to be for the best since no alcohol allowed on the beach. It's a few minute walk down to the water but wasn't that bad, plus this way we got service from the bar at the chairs from 12-4. The employees were great and very responsive to any asks we had.
- 3/5
My main issue, however, was the beach. If you are marketing yourself as a beach resort, guests should not have to pay an extra 300 dollars just to rent beach chairs. Additionally, the rooms are badly in need of an update. Our toilet overflowed to the top of the bowl every single day before finally draining, which was disgusting. On top of that, the hot water is unreliable, and if more than one person took a shower consecutively in the afternoon, the water turned freezing cold. Ultimately, this place is just okay. The location is great, but in my opinion, you can find much better options on the island for the same price.

A guest that I met while I was guest on the property stated this place is a bit “low brow”. Great location. I would agree and pics make it look classy. Parking is very tough. Locals and tourists constantly walking through the parking w/coolers and items make unsafe when parking. The pool is smaller size, great location, filled w/children. No adult area. There was an insurance company Humana staying there for corporate event. The property shut down services to other guests and catered to corporate, disregarded the guests as the food and bar shut early due to the corporate event took over services for late hours. Their party consumed a lot of space!!!! We all During prime peak times food and beverages were discontinued at 8 or 9 at night to guests so don’t stay there if you want to relax in evening. Firepit near the building is turned off early. No exercise room on premise. Min amenities in June for vacation. Guests had no food or beverages from hotel after those hours except a little later on a weekend. Told to go to other restaurants later. rooms popcorn style” ceilings, need decorated, upgraded, carpet gross, cleaning service doesn’t clean, change sheets per day must schedule and vents with years of dust, towels replenished or trash removed daily only. Ants crawled on feet in dining area as area not power washed frequently from food crumb debris by pool. Dog poop was in the elevator. Bugs inside. Water pressure fair. The music and tiki bar area is the highlight of place.
- 3/5
The hallway and elevators smelled strongly of mildew. It gave me a cough and detracted from my experience. The food was mostly deep fried and not to my liking. My room was clean. The main areas were clean. Housekeeping was good. The main desk staff was attentive and helpful. Again the staff was GREAT!!
- 4/5
Front desk team was amazing, location/amenities were great The Porch: Some of the wait staff was amazing, like for instance the breakfast team. Lunch/Dinner/Pool some seemed (not everyone) very bothered when approaching the bar/asking for drinks/food poolside. It was literally 50/50. If the entire team was aligned with customer service/approachable attitudes it would have been a superb experience
- 5/5
It was close to everything. Loved the Tiki hut The rooms were a bit small

This place is a perfect place to stay. Specially with kids, you have the beach and pool within walking distance. The food was very tasteful. The service at the pool provided by Mackenzie was great, she was always on point with everything we ordered. Then you have the tiki hut with live music and drinks. Very family friendly atmosphere.

Great music all day and at night. Raking the seaweed off the beach would have been a plus. Great place for families and couples alike. Would stay here again.

We had a king ocean view room. Had great beach view but also view of the pool, firepit and tiki bar. The bed was comfy and everything was pristine clean. Amenities were everything we needed. Live music played from approx noon to evening, and we enjoyed it. (June stay, I’m thinking that’s only in the high season.) I would return!
- 3.5/5
Great location, Tiki bar was fun. Beds were never made up and property was a bit tired and in need of a refurbishment
- 4/5
Great location. Staff was amazing. But it’s obvious that they traded amenities for bars.
- 5/5
Room was clean. Updated but could use some paint touch ups. Smelled a little musty in hallways. Rooms were good.
- 4.5/5
The location is wonderful…love that it’s right in the beach and that restaurants and shopping are an easy walk. On-site restaurants are convenient, food is good, and reasonably priced. Pool area is very nice with plenty of lounge chairs. Bathrooms need exhaust fans and microwaves would be a nice touch.
- 5/5
We enjoy everything the hotel had to offer. From the room to the pool to the great access to the Tiki Hut and beach. Will be back. Front desk employee wasn't at all welcoming when we arrived for checkin, seemed like she was bothered that i had questions.

Loved to see family ! We met my sister here for our baby moon trip , our room was SOOOOO DIRTY. To the point I had to go buy some wipes to wipe some things down . It also just reaked of dog pee . I get it’s an animal friendly hotel but someone’s dog was not potty trained obv . She casually mentioned the same thing . I took some photos . Over all the point of the trip was to see family so it’s ok. Had my husband and I been alone we would have went to a different hotel . No point in complaining bc they’re aware of the state of their rooms or they wouldn’t be that way.
- 4/5
The only real issue was that we didn’t get the room we reserved and the staff acted like we should be happy because they were giving us 2 rooms instead of the suite that we had reserved, but we didn’t need 4 beds, we needed room to move a wheelchair around.
- 2/5
The resort of centrally located on the island and offers 3 restaurants for plenty of food options on site. The room felt very dirty, and it was difficult to get cleaning service. The property requires that you specifically request each service you would like performed. For example, I requested new towels, trash taken out, and room tidied - but forgot to specifically request that the beds get made. So the beds did not get made. It was disappointing.
- 3/5
The staff was nice, that’s about it. The rooms were outdated and dirty. Everything felt dirty and overpriced. Not very thrilled with any of the hotels extras. Everything was overcrowded and felt dirty and old.
- 4/5
Location cannot be beat! Bathrooms need fans and rooms need a microwave.
- 4.5/5
Beach House Resort was a great place to stay on the beach in Hilton Head Island. Clean, great location, and comfortable bed. Also walking distance to shops & restaurants.

- 4/5
While it was pretty clean, this place could use a little update. The staff were friendly, and Larry by the pool was especially helpful recommending nearby attractions. I thought it was a little overpriced considering there was no gym and breakfast was extra. This place is more suited to families than older couples.
- 5/5
The location is great! Staff is very friendly. The food was excellent. Hope to return one day.
- 3/5
Had to wear shoes inside the whole stay. On our second night the fire alarm went off and all the guests had to evacuate at midnight. Having a 3 year old toddler who was asleep was no easy task of carrying her out and standing outside holding her in my arms for what seemed like an eternity. It took roughly 15-20 minutes for the fire department to clear the building and let us back in. To make things worse the hotel staff provided no accommodations for this incident, especially since checkout was that following morning and we did not get back to bed till about 3 am after our toddler had woken up from the fire scare. I’m thankful there was no fire but at the same time a malfunctioning fire alarm does not make me feel safe staying there going forward.
- 2/5
To make matters worse, the fire alarm went off around midnight, and there was no explanation provided afterward. While the staff was great, the condition and comfort of the hotel would make me hesitant to stay here again.

- 3/5
The pool was great! The access to the beach was wonderful!! Fixed feelings about this place.
- 3/5
Cute hotel. It was a little loud with people partying outside.
- 3/5
Rooms/bathrooms are dated. Some upgrades would be great!
- 3/5
First and foremost, the beach and pool were amazing... a gorgeous area. The hotel, though, meh. It was dirty, not well-kept. There is no gym on the grounds, but they give a free pass to a random (and really old) gym about 5 min away. The food and pricing were not worth it either. I will say the staff was great, though. But for the price, I do not recommend it.
- 5/5
We are familiar with this resort from prior ownership . Very nice upgrades to pool and other outdoor areas . The interior is the same as before , but noticed they are starting upgrades there as well .. I did miss the fruited ice water that used to be in the hallway on the first floor .. that was a very nice touch . It’s still about location and that homey feel
- 4/5
The room was a little dated, the bed was comfortable and the AC rocked! The room was clean and had everything we needed EXCEPT hot water, it was lukewarm at best. Parking was a little difficult with the public beach access right there, lots of people walking through the parking lot but even on the holiday weekend there were plenty of spaces. There was live bands the whole weekend, we enjoyed them as we sat at one of the fire pits at the pool. Doug our bartender was a superstar and made some killer rum runner buckets. Larry kept the flames lit on the firepit, and was super friendly offering things to do on the Island. Overall a great stay, would stay again.
- 4/5
Our only issue was that despite full service room cleaning offered on request at check-in, when we asking for this service (every day), this was not accommodated once.
- 3/5
This was my 2nd visit to the beach house, we had no hot water both trips due to boiler room issues, also the television would not work, and all ice machines were out of order.
- 3/5
There was no hot water whatsoever. The thermostat was inaccurate and kept the room either really cold or too hot.
- 4/5
Right on Coligny beach. Tiki Hut connected to property live music daily and nightly. Shopping and bike rentals nearby. Good property. Clean room.
- 5/5
Perfect for a beach getaway! The tiki hut on property and beach access right there was great! Walking distance to Coligny plaza was awesome! I would definitely stay here again. Great location on the beach!
- 4/5
There’s no microwave and the mini fridge is a tiny fridge constantly packed to the maximum. No vent in bathroom. The outside shower are covered in sand so good luck to getting the sand off your feet. Good vibes other than that. Just another beach hotel.

- 5/5
What a jewel we stumbled across. The rooms are a little older but fine. The location, food options and tiki bar music were such a great surprise! Hoping to be able to come back next week!
- 3/5
There was no balcony in the room unless you happen to get an ocean view which is limited There was no microwave The front desk staff were very good and helpful. The pool area is very nice and having a pool food and bar service is very nice But, the best thing this hotel has going for it is its proximity to the beach.
- 5/5
Great place to spend time. Beach right there all kinds of great food at your request. Bike rentals near. Everything you need to enjoy your time is close. Staff was always so pleasant and helpful. I will return
- 5/5
The tiki bar is worth the price of admission. The new pool layout is perfect!
- 5/5
The beach access and tiki bar were great!
- 4/5
Very loud hotel tho. It’s a very public beach so people EVERYWHERE.
- 5/5
What is perfect is the staff ….so genuinely friendly…big personalities…Armani ,Janeese just wonderful’
- 4/5
We enjoyed our visit! Loved the pool and the staff there. Tiki bar always! Location is the best. Property needs a bit of upgrading, did see that happening. Thanks for another great trip.
- 4/5
Nice property, if you are good with noisy nights. Could hear every little movement down hallway. Beds were very comfortable, but request away from ice machine if possible..
- 5/5
Love the Beach House. It’s still our favorite . The staff at the front desk were all friendly and so efficient . A special shout out to Armani , who checked in our family group . She was amazing.
- 5/5
Beach access was perfect. The Tiki hut is great!
- 5/5
Clean but dated rooms. Staff is ok just do the bare minimum. Staff at the food service is awful. They complain about other guests openly. Front desk ( Kevin is useless) not much help on information. Got more from guests. There is a free trolley line right next to the hotel. Beach chairs and umbrellas are at a fee. pool side get there early. The chicken tenders are amazing!! Patty the cleaning woman was the most helpful and always a smile on her face. Always happy to help or give a good tip / info. Have her at the front desk .
- 3/5
The room was very noisy during the day as they were changing Windows. The hotel didn’t inform that
- 4/5
Overall, we had a good stay. The room was clean and neat, but the hallways, elevators, etc are in need of some updating. The beach and eateries were nice.
- 5/5
Our 4th time here and it did not disappoint! Everything was fantastic!!
- 5/5
It was Amazing. Love staying at the beach in house.
- 5/5
Weather was bad but not their fault
- 1/5
Too loud for anyone with small children. Not able to sleep do to the music and traffic in the hallways
- 4/5
The beach veiw was definitely not in plain site lol, but you could see it. The elevator was a little sketchy, but the staff was GREAT!
- 4/5
We enjoyed a one night stay, as we traveled further south, breaking up our vacation journey. The time during the day spent on the beach was fantastic and the evening was exceptional getting to watch some live music with my wife hanging out by the cabana bar.
- 3/5
Average stay. There was plumbing work and no water for several hours two days in a row. Unfortunately, we weren't told about it for the first day. One staff member was very rude, however, everyone else we spoke to was very nice. The pool area was very well-kept. The room was clean.
- 5/5
I spent several days here with my 21 year old daughter. We enjoyed drinks and lunch by the pool and enjoyed the live music on the beach at night. The property is at a perfect location on the beach and walkable to shops and restaurants. The trolley stops just steps from the parking lot. The room was less than wonderful though. The walls are very thin, so you hear voices from both the hall and the adjacent rooms. The windows do not open and there was no bathroom fan so the room was humid and musty. It was clean however, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Beach House Resort is a great spot for a girls week of sun and fun.
- 4/5
Lots of fun. Love the tiki bar!
- 5/5
Beautiful
- 5/5
Need printed receipts for tiki and beach service at the end of service!! Need more mats for getting out to the beach for those with health problems the ones you have are AMAZING!! Would love to see fried wings on the menu at tiki and pizza since so much was being delivered from other places ! Would love to hear 80’s bands The staff is wonderful & food fabulous !!! We have already scheduling to be back by end of summer , we absolutely love it here!
- 4/5
Everything was great and location is fantastic. My only complaint is ocean view is through a widow that doesn't open so no balcony or way to really enjoy it so you might as well just watch the ocean on TV.
- 5/5
Beach and bar perfect location on grounds. Staff so friendly and helpful. We will be back again!
- 5/5
A beautiful stay, convenient to many things and very friendly staff. The beach is gorgeous.
- 5/5
Incredible stay at Beach House—centrally located for dining and excellent beach access! We will definitely be visiting again, very soon!
- 4/5
This is a great setup for a quick beach trip. Right on the beach, nice pool and restaurant. Rooms are good. The Tiki bar is huge and surprisingly the prices are reasonable. The only thing to be aware of, and it’s not the resort’s fault, is that the main public parking lot and beach access is right across the street. There will be a LOT of people on the beach and at the Tiki bar, so don’t expect a quiet getaway.
- 5/5
Easy check in process, clean room with ocean view, great beach access and outdoor pool, convenient location that’s walkable to plenty of nearby shops and restaurants
- 5/5
Our 2nd time, love everything about it!
- 5/5
Absolutely a wonderful day. I love that hotel. It’s absolutely I’ll definitely be back.
- 3/5
The staff was great. Our room was dated and had cockroaches in the bathroom. They did move us but hard to forget. Restaurant and pool are very nice. Great to be so close to the beach and the Tiki Hut was fun with great music.
- 5/5
Yes amenities and location were excellent. Only thing was I wished rooms were a little bigger . Should have gotten a suite. But motel and amenities were excellent as well as staff!
- 4/5
The room was an old room it didn't have a step in shower
- 4/5
The live music is nice but doesn't stop until 10pm so be forewarned. The staff was great. Tiki hut restaurant is so unorganized and chaotic and the food is alright. Drinks are alright. But for the price and location it's really good. I would stay there again just make different food choices.
- 5/5
good place for families
- 5/5
Beach view was cool, balcony was tiny, could only stand on it. Was like maybe 18” in depth so you could just stand. Tiki hut is directly informs of you and their exhaust vents are right in front of you so your gonna smell the food and hear the fans standing on the balcony. The door to room is out of plumb and had to slam it shut and yank it open. But location is good, Tiki hut was actually awesome with perfect service and bands. Parking is little wild. Like there is hardly any so if ya get a spot don’t move or you’ll will be rolling the dice if you have a spot on your return.
- 4/5
I would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Friendly helpful staff. Beautifully renovated property. Pool area is gorgeous. Definitely not the Beach House of the past. Great job on the upgrades. Check in and service poolside on point.
- 4/5
No draft beer
- 5/5
Clean room, lovely property with the essentials, live music, fire pits and the ocean. Was however expecting a microwave and really pissed that there was no cable tv. Absolutely nothing to watch on the channels. That felt like being cheated, but overall lovely property... would go again.
- 4/5
Staff was excellent, rooms have been updated and were comfortable/clean. Pool area restaurant/bar had good breakfast/lunch options but are pricey. Enjoyed the water bottle fill station in lobby and armband for room key is a nice update. Only stayed for one night to see some friends that were there, wouldn’t be my first choice but was overall a good stay.
- 5/5
Check in was very easy. Our room was prepared, clean and very comfortable. We had drinks at the Tiki Bar, which was awesome on a beautiful day! Our room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. This was our second stay here, and it won't be our last!
- 3/5
Room was clean but location could've been better. I didnt have the room I saw from the internet and my view of the ocean was just that... from a window.
- 5/5
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was consistently helpful, friendly, and attentive to any requests, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The property itself was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable throughout my visit. Overall, it was a smooth and relaxing experience, and I would gladly stay here again.
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
The bathroom was clean but outdated. The faucet at the sink had poor water pressure and the grout in between the tiles was moldy and should be replaced. Windows were dirty and sand on the floor in the room.
- 4/5
The staff were amazing. The tiki bar had great food
- 5/5
Location was fantastic. Service was wonderful. Vibe was excellent.
- 4/5
The view of the ocean was terrific (the only hotel with beach access before you get to the public beaches). The hotel itself could use some updates/modernizing, but overall well-maintained.
- 4/5
Property looks nothing like pictures. Pictures are dated.
- 5/5
This was an excellent establishment…comfortable bed, good view, wonderful staff.
- 5/5
Great trip, centrally located, great golf courses, way too many people though in one place for spring break
- 5/5
Impressed
- 5/5
Staff there is amazing! Kiki the front desk agent made a great impression!!! The rooms are just outdated and needs renovations. Overall, we like staying here when we visit.
- 5/5
This resort has great energy. The location is perfect. Easily walkable to shops and restaurants. The bar is alive all day until 10 PM. The music was incredible. And the access to the beach is unbeaten.
- 5/5
Great place on the beach and the pool was heated
- 3/5
This is a fun place !
- 3/5
This place was ok. The grounds are nice. Hotel seemed clean. There was live music nightly, and the staff was friendly. The two restaurants could not accommodate my husband’s food allergy, so that was a bit of a drag. There’s a daily resort fee however, beach lounge chairs are extra, and housekeeping doesn’t make beds unless you ask. I did ask btw, and they were only made once out of the 5 nights I stayed. This could be a great place…but…
- 1/5
Our lock to our room never work the entire stay. The staff could have cared less. Didn't apologize and when they tried to fix it they just glared at us and didn't say a word. Could overlook how run down and old it was if people were friendly. Don't stay here.
- 2/5
The photos make this place look like the perfect, intimate, even family-friendly beach getaway. The photos are deceptive. This was more like visiting Panama City Beach. If you’re a college kid, then this is the place for you! However, if you’re looking for a clean and relaxing stay, I’d go elsewhere. The linens are sandpaper, the beds belong in a college dorm, the door pads are often broken (when we were waiting to get ours fixed, the guest in the lobby was also waiting for theirs to be fixed), and there’s not a towel service for the beach. The pool water was so cloudy you couldn’t see your feet, so they’re not monitoring the levels and doing regular cleanings. The hotel is placed directly next to a public beach access point, so be prepared to be packed with public beach goers in addition to all the hotel members.
- 2/5
The people who worked here were great and very helpful. The hotel needs to be upgraded, it felt very dirty. The hallways are very dark and it was so loud at all times of the night. Very little sound proofing. Rust in the bathroom and paint chipping in the bathtub.
- 4/5
Ocean view was good. I thought it was going to be a bigger balcony. There was no laundry service.
- 3/5
Our room looked right into the parking lot which was awkward. We asked staff for help that never came. I wouldn't stay there again.
- 5/5
Super fun place
- 5/5
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly!! The rooms were clean!!
- 3/5
This place has pros and cons. The location is walkable to Coligny Square. The tiki bar is very nice as well, but very busy. The room was recently renovated and clean and pretty spacious. We sat by the pool the first day, but the water was so warm. It was not refreshing at all. There wasn’t much room either. If you didn’t get down there to reserve chairs, you would not get any. We ended up renting the chairs and umbrella from the tiki bar and it said they come with bar service, but we never once saw anybody in the three days we were there. The bartender in the pool area was rude to us in the morning and later when we tried to get drinks, she literally ignored us for 10 minutes so we walked away. She complained the whole time to her coworkers and how it’s going to be a long weekend. It would be nice if the hotel had more places to hang out at. There are limited spaces.
- 5/5
Very clean and lots of kid friendly things to do. We spent a lot of time at the tiki hut and the staff was great!
- 4/5
Private parking. Nice pool area. The Porch had good food. Friendly staff. Rooms updated except for bathrooms. Would recommend bathroom and hallway updates.
- 4/5
Hotel was nice beds very comfortable and staff nice . Only negative was no luggage carts available and parking spaces limited. Also be aware they charge a $35 daily resort fee on top of nightly rate
- 5/5
1
- 4/5
A negative is that the resort is in direct line with a beach access parking lot. LOTS of people coming through all day long. If looking for something quieter, then look elsewhere. Outdoor spaces were nice though often difficult to find a spot at the pool. Some guests stake-out claims very early in the morning and block others from getting a spot. Overall condition of the resort is good though there is room for improvement. Food was good. Be aware that they charge many additional fees including, marketing fee, community impact fee, resort fee ($35), along with state and county taxes. Don't be shy with the cash when you stay here.
- 2/5
Food not so good not alot selection For upcharge of resort fee didnt offer anything Umbrellas on beach had to rent so that wasnt good either, rooms not clean either especially bathtub, then kids were screaming up and down hallway Then check in we reserved kingbed they gavebus 2 queen bed No chairs available for pool, they had cabanas yeah 300!!:rental how about no cabanas and more pool seating!!
- 5/5
Everything was awesome
- 4/5
Close to shopping and dining
- 5/5
Great tiki bar with love music daily
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
The location, pool/spa, access to beach and tiki hut were top notch. The room itself was run down a bit, stain on the chair, bathroom toilet was running and wouldn’t stop unless we fixed it, fridge was leaking, etc. The rooms could use the same upgrade that the outdoor got a few years ago.
- 5/5
Beautiful beach, wonderful staff and walking distance to everything! The food and service were excellent at the Tiki Hut and I love that they had live music every day!
- 3/5
Fantastic beach. Plenty of space at multiple bars. Bathroom in our guest room was old and dirty. We stayed four nights, and housekeeping made up our room just once. Not a terrible place, particularly for the price, but not great either
- 5/5
Clean, friendly environment, live music right on the beach with an outdoor bar that has excellent frozen fruity drinks. Beach right outside hotel so you don’t have to fight for a public beach parking spot, and that’s a big deal by itself. Second year in a row staying here and wouldn’t choose a different location in the future.
- 5/5
Great location! Friendly staff and awesome pool!
- 5/5
All great!! Stay here every year
- 5/5
We love the Beach House! It’s our 5th time there and we love it. The rooms are big and clean. Ashley the bartender on the porch is always so friendly and having the tiki hut live music all day is a huge plus. The food is also amazing! They recently changed the menu and it’s great! Would highly recommend
- 5/5
Clean room, nice staff, beautiful hotel
- 3/5
The pool area was great. It has obviously been updated since our last visit. The fire pit area was dirty, including the fire surround and especially the dirty stained cushions with the fabric flaking off onto your clothes. The rooms and hallways need updating. It looks tired and dark. The shower glass had lots of soap scum and there was a small leak coming from the toilet. Some paint, elbow grease and general maintenance would go a long way
- 4/5
poolside was perfect
- 5/5
A wonderful one-night stay on our way up the East Coast.
- 4/5
Overall great but bathroom could use an update staff is wonderful
- 3/5
Hot tub wasnt hot, the pool was warm though. The rooms were not worth $260/night. No microwave.
- 5/5
The pool was great, lots of seating and it was heated for the time of year we were there. Easy access to the beach.
- 5/5
Was great the rooms were great. Again for the price it was amazing!
- 5/5
P.S. the beds and pillows were super comfortable!
- 3/5
The room description said balcony with ocean view. There was ocean view but also a view of the kitchen exhaust vent. The balcony was a step out could not sit out on the balcony. There was a live band that was so loud from 7pm til 10pm every night very loud right below our room.
- 5/5
Room walked out right to the bar, could see the ocean from my room move and quiet nights live music during the day was lovely from the back patio
- 5/5
The front desk lady on our arrival was so nice and gave great recommendations for a restaurant.
- 5/5
We had a side view of the beach and water. It was not exactly a full ocean view. The windows do not open and there is no balcony to enjoy ocean sounds and smells.

We would have liked an ocean view but they did not have ocean views from any of their queen rooms. The bathroom had an exhaust vent but there was not a switch to turn it on. The lighting was not good for reading at night. It would have been nice to have a sconce light over the beds. However, despite all of that, we had a great time. The pool and spa area were so convenient and the restaurant was set up to serve at the pool as well as seating inside. The tiki hut and live music are right on the beach. We also loved that there was self-dispensing cold water available at the pool and tiki hut.
- 5/5
Wonderful beach view. Room tastefully decorated. Staff friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
The staff was helpful and kind. The rooms were a bit dirty (floors, hairs in bathroom, corners of rooms were dirty and discolored), but nothing that bothered us too much. The pool was great, the water machine was a fun addition, and the location was unbeatable!
- 5/5
Beautiful
- 5/5
Just had a wonderful stay at The Beach House in a patio room! Kiki at the front desk was super welcoming and helpful! The room was clean and had updated decor. Will most definitely be back!
- 5/5
Our room faced the parking lot
- 5/5
We did not have an ocean view room but that was fine. For the most part our room was very good. You can tell the bathroom needed a little attention like in the bathtub but it was clean. Just worn. The staff, from check in to housekeepers to all the service at the bars or restaurants were great. Very friendly and always offering any assistance. Overall, Beach House Resort was an excellent place to stay. If you didn't want to leave for dinner elsewhere, you didn't have to. The food and service was good at The Porch and The Tiki Bar. Music at the bar was a great addition. The resorts pool was very comfortable and the ocean was amazing. Such a great spot overall. We would definitely come back.

The hotel itself was clean and the front desk lady was very kind and helpful, having a coffee shop and bar on property was great. HOWEVER! On our first night there myself and another guest were enjoying the peaceful night by one of the fire pits around 9:50 at the time, we knew the pool area closed at 10 and were actively grabbing our things to head in, When we here LOUD banging for about a full minute coming from the upper floor of the office building/restaurant building and were confused but the lights were out so we didn’t know what it was and were leaving anyways. As we are standing up and grabbing our stuff a middle aged african American man comes around the side of the building yelling at us saying “Guys! I know what you all are doing you all need to leave! There are cameras everywhere and I’m very close to telling the other staff, You know what you did!” We were not doing anything but talking by the fire, not drinking, not smoking, not being loud, not after hours. He never identified himself, we did have a light blue dress shirt and khakis so we assumed he was either restaurant staff or something like that maybe, but either way this completely ruined our night. We didn’t say anything or argue because whatever he thought we did it seemed serious and we paid a lot of money) and we didn’t want to get kicked out on the first night. We will not be returning. Deal with this man if he is staff or staff adjacent.
- 4/5
The hotel was great, super comfortable bed, and right on the beach. The only downside was the lack of a microwave in the room. Otherwise it was perfect.
- 5/5
Nice staff at reception. Great bar.
- 4/5
Would update tvs
- 5/5
Front desk gentleman was so nice and beautiful place!
- 4/5
Courteous and friendly staff! Great setting and location, perfect to experience HHI.
- 4/5
It was ok a out of date room saw a hair on the bathroom window
- 4/5
Could use an upgrade on the TV
- 4/5
Had a very standard room in an unfortunate location next to the maid station. Strong chemical/bleach smell and noisy. Ymmv. Property was very nice and in a very nice area. Can walk or bike to several restaurants.
- 3/5
Beach was going through some construction.
- 4/5
Hotel room was a little weathered, but…. Location AWESOME and amenities over the top. Great music and pool beautiful. Good coffee shop too!!
- 5/5
All good

Clean room good pillows

This beautiful, relaxing and well appointed one bedroom apartment in Bimini was the perfect stay for my week of diving and exploring here. Upon arrival, it was spotless and welcoming, with what appears to be all new fixtures, appliances, bedding, towels, ample kitchen supplies and furniture. The AC works well but with my January visit, I found it unnecessary to run. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was sufficient and a bonus. They exterior is well maintained and there is a gorgeous lounging area on the waterfront deck. Traveling as a single woman, I felt very safe and secure with the multiple security cameras posted around the complex. There is also a very friendly and helpful property manager on site. My only inquiry all week regarding using the TV was answered immediately, and addressed through the complement of staff and techs that the owner of the property has on hand. I had friends staying nearby at the Resort World hotel, and problems were frequent and late in rectifying - no water pressure, couldn't enter their room and waited up to an hour, at night, for it to be fixed - and this happened twice! For travelers like myself, on a budget but seeking quality accommodations, I hit the jackpot with Bimini Bay View Apartments. Finally, the owner is very responsive, replies immediately, and cares about the guests. I can't recommend this place more highly. Five shiny stars!
- 4/5
Great outdoor seating on the beach with 24hrs fire pit and heated pool
- 4/5
We had a lovely 2 night stay. Our room was pretty and clean. It was great having the Tiki Hut on the beach for drinks, apps, and entertainment. Staff was friendly. The only complaint we had was how loud noise travels in the hallways. There is no carpeting and late night guests could be heard from down the hall as well as slamming doors. The halls also need to be painted, lots of paint chipping.
- 4/5
The building is old, the rooms were ok, we found a couple of roaches in our room
- 5/5
Great!
- 4/5
I loved the beach view and the fire pits. I did leave a day early as it was busier than I had hoped in January. It was not the quiet winter getaway I had hoped for.
- 5/5
Great stay. Nice room, perfect location, and fun atmosphere.
- 5/5
We had a great ocean view, great location to restaurants and shopping. Wanted to sit by the fire but the cushions were so dirty we ended up leaving. The pool is really nice, the hotel is decorated in Beach Theme, definitely needs a little maintenance and some cleaning but overall, a great spot.
- 5/5
The entire resort was wonderful. The staff were extremely nice and welcoming. We will definitely be returning.
- 5/5
Location was very convenient...on the beach and walking distance to shopping. Rooms were clean and very spacious.
- 5/5
Great customer service.

It was a great place, will be back!

Beautiful resort and location. So easy to get out onto the beach from the hotel. Huge pool and hot tub. Loved our stay and will be back!

Yes
- 4/5
This place is okay our room was supposed to have a beach side view but you almost had to break your neck trying to see the beach we did find one small cockroach in our room but the rest of the room was clean and we didn’t see any others when we walked the property
- 5/5

Great access to the beach and the Tikihut and like music was fun
- 5/5
The room was very clean, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Loved my stay!
- 4/5
The room was very clean. The ocean view was fantastic. The staff was friendly and courteous.
- 5/5
Only thing would of been nice if the Tiki bar would of been open. They closed because of inclement weather which was 50 to 60. No other dining options
- 5/5
Outstanding location. We would choose this exact spot again.
- 3/5
Old Hotel and not comfortable.
- 5/5
I love that place
- 5/5
Location!
- 5/5
Front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very nice.
- 5/5
Great view and location.
- 5/5
The hotel is very clean and is in a great location!
- 5/5
Courtesy of employees, on site tiki bar, clean comfortable beds.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 4/5
Attentive staff, well appointed room, wonderful viee
- 3/5
The staff was wonderful and very welcoming, and the pool and bar areas were definitely highlights of the property. However, the rooms didn’t quite match the photos online and felt a bit dated in comparison to the rest of the resort. Housekeeping only provided fresh towels rather than a full room refresh, which was surprising. The location is great, but overall the accommodations fell a little short of what we expected.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and staff was very friendly!
- 4/5
Rooms were nice overall the lighting in bathroom is really bad for getting ready. It’s an older property with updated pieces here and there. Would consider coming back.
- 2/5
Yes

The hotel was clean, staff extremely courteous, and amenities were great.
- 4/5
Room was clean but tv remote didn’t work and AC made a loud rattle noise.
- 4/5
The room was clean. The staff was courteous.
- 3/5
nice but not as nice as shown to be online in pictures.
- 5/5
Super friendly staff, spacious room, and great live music 10am-10pm at the Tiki Hut on property!
- 4/5
If you love the beach, you’ll love it. Some of our neighbors were loud. It is what it is. Not everybody thinks about others.
- 4/5
great pool with beach access too. Staff was great.
- 5/5
The rooms are very spacious. The staff were excellent.
- 5/5
From the staff to the room cleanliness, proximity to Coligny Circle, beach and restaurants on premises, it all was outstanding
- 5/5
Really Great
- 3/5
Given the designation of “Resort”, I expected a higher standard of maintenance. The “ocean view” room offers a view of the tiki bar and restaurant. However, the beach is beautiful and the sunrise is truly amazing. Overall, the establishment is average at best.
- 4/5
Nice place. Convenient . Needs to update bathrooms.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and great room with a view!
- 5/5
This was everything I was hoping it would be and more. The hotel was quiet. The bar fun and the beach was beautiful.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay, pool was heated, tiki bar was nice.
- 4/5
Everything was good!
- 3/5
Nice hotel
- 2/5
Wouldn’t stay there again, the property wasn’t what I expected. It needs renovating, will stay at a hotel next time and drive to the beach.
- 4/5
Great location. Hotel hallways need work
- 3/5
Mold in the rooms and bathrooms. You can hear everyone in the hallways- there is no sound barrier. They have focused on the remodeling pool and tiki hut area which was so cool and amazing! Good live music. However, the rooms are lacking and need to be updated themselves. Besides the rooms, it was overall a great place to stay. Will be back once the rooms are redone!
- 4/5
Coffee machine in room didnt work and no coffee available at hotel until 7. Had to drive to get coffee.
- 5/5
Room was clean and the veiw was great. Food was fantastic
- 4/5
The view was beautiful... Very friendly staff. Food was average. Service was Excellent... Rooms were older...
- 4/5
We love the location of the beach house and the staff is very friendly however their hallways and room could use an upgrade . That being said it still is our go to hotel for Hilton Head ! You just can’t beat the location !
- 5/5
We loved the Tiki Bar. The staff were great and were always cleaning. The pool was so nice. Walkable to shops and restaurants. Room was clean.
- 4/5
I wish there was a microwave in the room, but the staff was so helpful. They offered to heat our food for us.
- 5/5
Love this hotel an Tiki Hut!
- 5/5
Fun place with onsite Tiki Hut with food and all day live music! Short walk to shops and restaurants.
- 5/5
Beach view great. Don't drink so can't view those options.
- 4/5
The staff were great! The hotel is ideally located on the beach. The pool and hot tub area were very nice and the tiki bar was awesome. The room was only ok. The room decor was a bit tired, the sink didn’t drain and the fridge froze our food.
- 5/5
Nice place to have fun. Walk to the beach and go shopping.
- 3/5
Loud room behind elevators, so machinery and plumbing sounds all night. Staff was friendly. Flexible early check in. Comfy bed.
- 4/5
It was nice.
- 5/5
Amazing staff
- 5/5
Staff is amazing!
- 4/5
Great Bar, Great Location
- 4/5
While you can tell this is a renovated property, our room was clean and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant multiple times and the staff was friendly. You can’t beat the location!
- 4/5
Everything was great except the bathroom. Building is older and bathtub/shower reflected that. It was clean, just had cracks in tub to the point I wouldn’t take a bath in it. Bed was comfy, loved tiki hut being so close. The downstairs restaurant was average, but enjoyed poolside drink service. Pool area very clean and ability to easily go from beach to pool was nice.
- 5/5
The customer service level of the staff was outstanding. They were very pleasant and accommodating. We had two small dogs and the staff made them feel welcome as well by providing treats for them at check. Many shops, bars and cafes are only a short walk. Fantastic beach and live music at the Tiki Hut. We will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Yes great ocean view
- 3/5
Bed was uncomfortable. AC didn't work properly. There was no beach view. Staff was nice.
- 2/5
Rooms are very run down, popcorn ceiling is peeling, mold in bathrooms, hallways to rooms look like they went to battle. New pool is very nice and check-in area is beautiful as well. The tiki hut has fire pits that were nice to sit at in the evening. The Porch restaurant has very friendly staff. We did have issues with the fire alarm thing in our room going off starting at 4am until we checked out 9am. Overall I would find other places to stay vs staying here again.
- 4/5
Three interesting bands a day in the Tiki bar that stop playing at 10pm for those wanting to get some sleep.
- 4/5
We have been going to the Beach House Resort for well over 10 years, with a bit of interruption due to Covid. While the Tiki Hut, the pool and the Porch remain and actually have some great improvements. I was very disappointed in the rooms at the Beach House. We had booked 4 separate rooms due to the size of our party. The room on the 2nd floor was quite nice and updated. The 3 rooms on the 3rd floor were not updated, the temperature of the rooms was either too hot or too cold and for some reason extremely humid. We were unable to regulate it. One room the door did not close properly. On our 3rd day I asked for the beds to be done in one of the rooms. You need to make an actual request for bed service. We had 2 queens in that room, they only remade one bed. Very strange. The conditions of the property minus the Tiki Hut, pool and Porch have really went downhill. I am very happy they are now pet friendly. It’s still a beautiful area and we will be back to HHI just not sure about where we will stay next time.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our week here as our first time in Hilton Head. The beach was great, staff was friendly and accommodating throughout the resort. Any issue we had was immediately handled and we would absolutely return for a shortened stay. With a family of five, we much needed a larger refrigerator and microwave in the room. The front desk staff was so nice and helpful letting our family use it to warm our breakfast and food. This resort is so close to all of the great restaurants and shops at Coligny square.
- 4/5
We were only there for an overnight stay and really wish we had more time. The tiki bar was great (but the bar seats were uncomfortable). The pool area had plenty of lounges and tables. We took a relaxing walk on the beach. The bed was comfortable but a little too low as it was a platform bed (and I am only 5’2”!)
- 4/5
We traveled with family members that stayed on a different floor. Their room was updated and the bathroom was much nicer than ours. Some of the furniture in our room was dated. The location of hotel is nice and we enjoyed walking to shops and restaurants. The outdoor area was great and we enjoyed drinks and entertainment on the patio.
- 5/5
Right in front of Hilton Head water to enjoy both sunset and sunrise walk. Amazing facility.
- 5/5
Great location. Fun restaurant although very busy. Nice pool.
- 5/5
Just a beautiful place and the greatest staff loves it
- 5/5
beautifull property so close to beach. great pool, great bars, great bands. rooms are nice. greatest hotel shower, loves my patio room , ocean front. so convenient. we will definatly
- 1/5
The location was very convenient but unfortunately, that is where the positives end. The room we stayed in looked old, rusted, and had several small bugs crawling around that resembled bed bugs. The
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and ready to accommodate our needs.
- 4/5
I booked last minute and found it rather easily. I don't think I understand it was more than a hotel so I did not get to use the amenities. It was nicely decorated. Clean. Maybe a little loud: the metal doors slammed and I could hear the snoring from a neighboring room so I'm sure they heard me!
- 3/5
Only a partial view balcony is extremely small. Shower didn't have a door smh. Water spita on the wall in the shower.
- 4/5
Place
- 4/5
Everything around
- 5/5
This was a great location with lots of shops/restaurants within walking/biking distance. You are right on the beach which is wonderful. There were bike paths all over the island. The staff was very nice and the room was good. Would definitely stay again.
- 3/5
Place needs updating
- 3/5
Parking was terrible. We had to drive around till we found a parking spot.
- 4/5
Location and amenities were great. Rooms were just okay. Loved the pool and service.
- 5/5
Great communication and attention by the staff
- 4/5
Pillows are horribly uncomfortable. Too thick. First room reeked of mildew, the second one was much better. Rooms were clean. Food was average at best.
- 4/5
When we arrived we were greeted in a very unprofessional and snarky manner by a Valet on a bicycle. When we parked and entered for check in, staff member was very nice and gave us our bracelet keys and a map. The room was very nice and clean. The towels were plush and plenty. The bed was decent and comfortable. However, we were on the end near a stairwell that kept slamming shut which made it hard to sleep. At 9 am we had a bang at the door that woke us (checkout is 11). When I got to the door no one was there but a housekeeping cart was down the hall. We proceeded to shower and get ready to checkout. When I got out of the shower, someone (I presume housekeeping) walked into our room (it was 10am). When I said “excuse me! what the heck”, she said oh, just checking! Excuse meee but how the hell do you just walk into someone’s room without knocking AND before checkout time?!?! So we checked out at 11 and I told the staff at checkout what happened. They were very understanding and took a few dollars off our bill. I appreciated it but that isn’t why I complained. You are supposed to feel safe at a beautiful and expensive resort! The Tiki Bar is a bit overpriced for drinks but is good and they offer live music for 12 hours a day so I assume that’s why it was pricey. Good food. Slow service but it’s the south. Overall a very nice place to stay minus the rudeness and invasion by housekeeping and Valet.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Nice pool and location. Room was alittle dirty
- 5/5
…
- 5/5
The lighting is poor. The beds are too low and the toilet is too low. I think y’all need to realize older people can afford these suites and you need to have them to accommodate us as well.
- 4/5
The property and room are in need of updating.
- 5/5
The Tiki Bar and the Ocean
- 4/5
Was a nice place and convenient
- 5/5
It was hard to find a parking spot.
- 5/5
Shopping was close and convenient to walking to. Pool was also fantastic. Did not have any meals on site but there was a restaurant right on the beach with live music.
- 5/5
Stay was great. Staff was great, hotel was great. Room was renovated and clean. The Tiki Bar was great and food was very good. The pool area and bar were also very good. Access to the beach is right out front. The hotel is the perfect size, not overly large and crowded pool area.
- 5/5
The room was very spacious and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The Tiki Bar was really fun. Great entertainment with the exception of the band on Tuesday night. We were amazed they made the cut compared to all the other talented bands. Beach was beautiful. Very nice place
- 5/5
Very pet friendly!!!
- 2/5
This area is busy and it’s not quiet. I kind of wished I paid the extra money
- 4/5
Very well located, with a nice outdoor beach bar with nightly music!
- 5/5
The staff
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
The pool was a nice place to relax and enjoy the rest of the day
- 5/5
We have been staying here for years. Everything meets our needs. Staff is great!!
- 5/5
Loved the property and the staff ❤️
- 5/5
Beach view, patio, pet-friendly
- 5/5
Our weather was excellent and everyone at the hotel was so friendly. The food and drinks were great as well
- 3/5
The property was close to the beach.
- 5/5
Great place for fun.
- 3/5
We liked the tiki bar, but there was lots of litter around it on the sand and there were a lot of smokers. Maybe because the bar is open to the public? It would be nice if the smoking was a bit more contained to certain areas. And also no one likes to see litter on a beach…we probably wouldn’t come back to this hotel unless it was a great deal.
- 3/5
Bed - was straighten not changed from previous guests. Had makeup all over the comforter. Complained. Was changed immediately. When walking outside from the main hotel room building it smelled horrible- like pot. We were not the only guest that noted it. From the photos and cost, we assumed it was more inclusive but no. A lot of walk in’s for beach access. Outdoor furniture by stage, falling an apart. Service slow - understaffed. Quite a few guests or walk ins at the outdoor bar were inebriated. A father/son duo arrested as well. Anything needed or just simple info, no front desk phone access - you have to go over to the lobby each time. We were there for an athletic event and extended our stay for vacation. Photos on line do not look the same as the actual. A partial ocean view is not partial - a sliver/hint of an ocean view. Pool was fantastic. I typically do not write reviews, but felt the need on this one. We aren’t wealthy, but we splurged on this hotel and unfortunately regretted it. Just do your research before booking.
- 5/5
Great location, friendly staff and, i think, recently renovated rooms. Rooms were big and bed was comfortable. It could have used another chair in the room but other than that it was very good. Great tiki bar but beware it shuts down at 10pm. Good access to the beach with chairs for rent and a beach volleyball court. We will stay there again.
- 5/5
It located in an area that was accessible to many shop, eateries etc
- 1/5
The bad: The hotel is in dire need of a deep cleaning (with massive amounts of bleach) and probably a start from scratch remodel. The inside of the hotel was disgusting. The floors were dirty, there was garbage and trash littering the halls. The rooms were so dirty - our sink faucet only had a tiny trickle coming from it and our tub was completely rusted. The towels had other people's hair on them. We cut our stay short and ended up relocating hotels. The walls are paper thin and we could hear everything outside of our room at all hours of the night. The beach was SO crowded and the hotel is right next to a public access area so the parking was a nightmare for hotel guests trying to find a parking spot. The pool is tiny for the amount of rooms here and there was no availability at any time for a day by the pool. I could go on and on but I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for a hotel on HHI.
- 3/5
Had an ocean view room w balcony but balcony is very small so if you’re over 200 pounds good luck bc 2 ppl can barely fit on it. Can’t even sit and enjoy the view. Food places were nice. had an okay birthday stay wish it was better.
- 4/5
I had a great stay! The staff had good customer service. They gave us free breakfast because it was my birthday. The only critique I have is that the rooms and hallways could be maintained a bit better. However, they were clean and so was the beach. I'd definitely come back!
- 2/5
Room needs uodating
- 3/5
The property is old and you can hear everything in the hallways and other rooms from your room
- 5/5
Very clean, staff cleaning all of the time. Great atmosphere and enjoyed the live music. Entry doors could use shaved and adjusted, however best air conditioning system I have ever used in a hotel. Fairly quiet central air, but actually works and adjust to any temp you want. Great for sleeping. Older hotel, but well maintained and best atmosphere around.
- 4/5
Dining wise- more food options, especially for kids should be included in the pool area.
- 4/5
Overall, the amenities and room were awesome!! Great locations
- 3/5
It was very pretty but was charged for things we were unaware of until end of stay. also did not get the room we booked nor got the housekeeping that was described to us.
- 3/5
The hallways are not looking good ( pain peeling from wood ) the inside the room is not that bad but the bathroom is bad ( bathtub paint was peeling off , toilet was older then me , and the rest need to be upgraded . So for that many what I paid they charge me 450$ extra I think is way too much . Next time I will be looking something from VRBO . The 4 stars i think is way too much i would said 3 is a top. I’m traveling all over and I see beautiful places for less . Thank you
- 4/5
Safe, very nice beach. Nice staff
- 3/5
The entertainment at the Tiki Hut was very good, particularly for people like me who love Jimmy Buffett and classic beach music. The biggest drawback, however, is that none of the rooms in this beachfront hotel have balconies.
- 5/5
We would recommend this property. Very nice and courteous staff. Great location!
- 2/5
Maybe my expectations
- 5/5
Great stay. Zero complaints. Will definitely be back.
- 4/5
Beach at night can be shady with all the teenagers. During the day, very lively, walk to shops and dining, trolley nearby. An area that is a must visit.
- 5/5
The location directly on the beach was wonderful! The pool area was very nice!
- 5/5
Would stay here again! The Tiki Hut was a great place to hang out! Great live music and great atmosphere overall! Walking distance to Coligny Plaza and directly off the beach. 10/10!
- 4/5
Rooms are comfortable. Best location to beach. Tiki hut has excellent food. Rooms need a bigger fridge and need a microwave oven not a safe
- 3/5
Lots of storage space Bed is not good bedding is low end Pillow low end They do not change the sheets or make your bed unless you ask in advance - first one for me ! Pay for coffee in the AM - usually an amenity you get in all hotels at no charge The coffee machine in the room is lame and they give you very little creamers no teas . . Location is great amazing sunrises Bar very limited hard to find some of the basics like Campari or Aperol . Lobby and entire hotel looks like an old high school or a summer camp for kids Having said that the location is great parking is ok if you find a spot and the beach is beautiful- just do not expect high end . .
- 5/5
Liked it
- 4/5
Loved the proximity to the beach and shopping areas. Wish the restaurant would actually answer their phone for takeout orders and that the bathroom door actually closed and had a lock.
- 3/5
Your property was nice.Just that my room goofwasn't goodg
- 4/5
It was nice. The tiki bar was nice, clean and fun. Pool was great. The room doors and hallway could use some cleaning and painting. Our toilet didn’t work well but they fixed it. Our patio door was terrible. Wouldn’t open but they fixed that too. Bring a night light for your bathroom. Need new toilets and could fix the grout and new caulking.
- 5/5
Loved the live entertainment! Great location, with just steps to the beach, dining or relaxing day at the pool.
- 5/5
Nice stay
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and hotel was very clean! Had an issue with our toilet, and told a hotel employee on the elevator, they immediately made the repair. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
- 5/5
We love that the hotel has everything we need and enjoy: restaurant, swimming pool, Tiki Bar, beach. The staff is excellent and we have a great time at each of our stays.
- 5/5
Liked the wrist band key system
- 4/5
Hotel has outdated rooms bathrooms especially had no ventilation. I would not walk on the floors with my bare feet and wore shower shoes in the tub. Had to pull the plug out of the drain to keep me from standing and dirty water after the beach.Beds slept great. I pick this hotel for it tiki hut and location to colingny. I will try another hotel next time. EVERY ROOM NEEDS WALK IN SHOWERS. It’s on a beach I’m sure the maids hate cleaning tubs everyday!!LOVE HHI
- 5/5
We come for the view and the music

The property is very dated. The room was not thoroughly cleaned; found a ball of hair in the “closet area” of the room. The food selection was limited, during my stay, and the restaurant- pool area was severely understaffed. The manager was doing an excellent job trying to assist.

If you are *anyone else*, then avoid this place at any cost. You get what you pay for.

We had a great stay at the Beach House! The room was a perfect size for two and very clean. The pool was nice—though it could use a little extra cleaning—but overall still enjoyable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even better. Being right on the beach was such a plus, and we loved that it was within walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants. Definitely would come back!

When we arrived there was no one at the the counter to check us in. The help was somewhere getting a piece of cake. We went to our room and the toilet water was brown liquid as well as the sink water. I was told there had been a huge plumbing problem. I asked to cancel are stay due to the conditions and was told I would have to go through Hotels.com . We left early the next morning. I would never go back!!! Horrible experience!!!

Location is excellent- on the beach, the pool is lovely. Fun tiki bar. Within walking distance to restaurants and a park. Only issue is housekeeping didn’t always come till very late and we had to find someone to get towels and dump trash.

This place is a bit weird. Overall we enjoyed the stay, but I can't in good conscience give it a good review. The rooms are unclean feeling and the lighting is so poor you can barely read at night. You can hear every conversation when people are in the hallways. I don't mean a little bit either. It's like they are in your room talking to you. The rooms are so humid that my clothes in my suitcase were wet whenever I put them on. The bright spot are the beaches, pool, and Tikki Bar. The pool service is great, but the food was nothing to right home about. Based on everything I experienced, I'm pretty sure all of the money in the hotel is spent on the outside of the facility and the rooms are left like an old rundown motel.

1. Some of the staff were incredibly rude. The hotel advertised yoga happening at at 8 a.m. everyday. My sister and I showed up and about 5 minutes later the instructor showed up. She asked we were there for yoga, made a comment about how typically no one ever, then she said she was going to wait to see if more people came. After sitting there until about 8:05, she just got up and left without telling us that she was canceling it or anything. Then, one of the bars was supposed to be open until 11. My sister and I showed up at 10 and they were slow so we asked what time they were open till thinking they might want to close early and the bartender said "we're open now." Around 10:30 he told us that he was closing up. We said "okay, thank you" and I went to ask if we were allowed to take our drinks back to the room. Mid-sentence he shut the door in my face. We weren't rude. We weren't obnoxious. We were just sitting drinking our drinks and he shut the door in my face. 2. Our hotel room was so humid and damp that my phone disabled the USB port due to high humidity. Also, the floor was so sandy. 3. The hours listed and activities mentioned were wrong. Sign said breakfast was 7-10:30, yet at 8:15 the doors were locked and no one was inside.

Please tell all of the front staff that Miss Denise said thank you so much and I recognize how hard all of you are working

Great pet friendly hotel. On the beach, with a great tiki bar and pool. Easy to walk to shopping, and parks, and restaurants. Perfect for a family vacation!

Older hotel with wonderful new pool and beds were fantastic with big fluffy pillows.

Our room was dated and showed obvious signs of wear and lack of upkeep. Basically, this hotel shines and impresses on the outside amenities and location. But the actual hotel inside and room is not impressive.
