Also, we didn't appreciate being charged $6 per day for parking. In addition, there was no free coffee downstairs. We had to pay for a Starbucks coffee. There should be far less nickel and diming.

The time me and my husband shared there was an absolute wonderful, we had great service, the hospitality was phenomenon love to stay again. Thank you.... Not go when they are having sports events but all was good no complaints.

Everything was great! The 4 - 12 shift front desk lady took care of my temperature in my room. She was helpful & friendly. In fact, everyone at the front desk were friendly & professional.

The carpet in the elevator and in the hallways were stained and smelled pretty bad. Once I was in my room the smell was not bad. I walked into the bathroom to take a shower and as soon as I opened the shower curtain, there was a huge spider and spider webs in the ceiling of the bathtub. I spoke to the front desk and they said there was not anybody to take care of the spider and it would have to wait until the next day. It was overall a bad experience and I will not stay there on my next trip.

There was a problem with first room. However, staff were gracious to accommodate me quickly and move me to another room. Biggest problem was how young teenage children (seem like about 2 or 3 sport teams) ran up and down hallways recklessly and loudly all day and into the late evening. Management and staff didn’t seem to know how to handle multiple complaints about it.

Comfortable beds with amazing pillows that I will be buying off the Marriott.com website. The staff is amazing! very friendly. the hotel has a very nice spa- like smell. there is a bar and restaurant downstairs. it closes at 10:00 pm so we didn't get a chance to enjoy these amenities but the bar looked well stocked and the food prices looked reasonable. Great stay! the walls are A little thin and you can hear noise from the halls but other than that, it was nice thin walls, the fan in the bathroom didn't work. could have used a few more towels.

the front desk staff was excellent. she was very welcoming and made us feel at home and very relaxed after a long drive it was a great experience that your front desk staff went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay at the hotel

The stay was horrible and there was an infestation of roaches in both rooms. In one room there was massive stain of dried blood on the floor right before the bathroom. We left literally that same night due to the roaches and they have yet to give us a refund!!!!

In the evenings the room (which faced Louetta) is noisy from loud cars and motorcycles driving up and down on these two busy roads. Secondly, we were staying two nights and were told on check in that the room would be "refreshed" every third day, so we were not there long enough for that. We said that was okay, but could we get some clean towels on the second night, and the front desk clerk said certainly, and sometime housekeeping goes above and beyond and will just clean the room and make the bed. Great we said! Of course, you know what happened. Nothing. No clean towels and most of ours were placed on the floor, thinking we'd get fresh towels, but at 9:30 PM, I'm not chasing someone down for a clean bath cloth and towels. Take a shower, use a hand towel, reuse your bath cloth (from the floor) and move on. The room had a faint, but distinct "pet" (urine) odor and the mattress left both my wife and I with a backache both days. Suffice it to say this. The hotel was at best, average. Folks were friendly enough, property was safe, well kept, lobby was clean, elevators were fine, but there is nothing that you could say was above average for a medium priced ($160. per night) hotel. Not bad, not great, just average.

Upon arrival, we discovered no phone in the room to call the front desk, no remote for the television, and a broken deadbolt. I requested a new remote. They gave me one that did not work. I requested a phone and was told that they were changing systems. I requested a new room with a safe deadbolt. I was declined. I left.

Insult to injury is that you pay to park in a parking lot. 1/2 empty flat lot outside of hotel. Not valet, not parking garage, not covered.. just an open lot

As is common in the post Covid world they do not clean your room every day, but you would think they would at least empty the trash.

Overall it was ok, didn’t like that we could hear all of the noise in the lobby on the 2nd floor with the open railing looking down to the lobby across the hall from us. Also didn’t like that we had no control of the AC. I was so cold but unable to adjust anything. No ventilation in the bathrooms or fan. The carpet smelled pretty musty in the room as well. The bed was comfy but the pillows to hard and not enough blankets on the bed.

Property was not up to date paint was chipping, rule grout dirty and caulking coming off. Not telephone in room

This hotel was excellent while we were here for the Junior Olympics. Hotel was super clean and staff was so nice when we needed to add one night which I wasn’t able to do through Hotels.com.

Room was a king bed room which I could not sleep in from the stench. They had one other room available which was a two queen bed room. They offered me a bottle of water to compensate.

It’s a very nice hotel and met our needs perfectly for our four night stay. Staff was very friendly and personable. Hotel was clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Excellent location. Will definitely stay again.

We noticed a couple of maintenance issues. The door latches on both of our rooms would stick making it hard to lock the door each time you opened it. It seemed like only one elevator was working.

The staff are the best part of this property. They are very helpful, pleasant, and accommodating and if it had not been for the staff at this location, I probably would not have enjoyed my stay at all. They did the best to help with correcting issues with the room, offering food recommendations, and generally just beingavailable to answer any questions or to provide good service. Hands down a 10 out of 10 for customer service! While the staff is great, there are some things above the hotel that they just can’t address in those things have a big influence on the quality of the stay. Which is unfortunate because again the staff is great. The things that I did not like are things that the staff most likely can’t fix. For instance, the hotel is a bit older so the bathrooms are dated, at times the air and heat did not seem to regulate properly, but they worked, and it is not in the most walkable area, but it isn’t far from other food and shopping. It seems a bit expensive for what you get. For instance there’s no restaurant, but there is a small café. There are laundry facilities, but the washer and dryer are a bit old and take quite a bit of time to clean and dry your clothes. The gym facility is very basic .

Rooms need an upgrade - bathrooms are very old, mold in tub. Coffee makers are older, complimentary water would be nice

Staff was very friendly. All said Hi when passing, were patient with requests and questions, and genuinely was happy wanting to make us welcomed and assure all needs were met. The gentleman working as bartender/server Sat. Sept 20th(sorry forgot name) was great and didn't mind multiple requests for changing tv channels, food/drink orders, etc.

Had to switch 3 different rooms for having dirty rooms and hair in beds. All I got from the general manager is an email saying sorry and hope you stay with us next time. Very unprofessional!

Enjoyed the stay at this location. Amazing staff, they are super friendly and helpful. There is Target, Chick-fil-A, McDonald’s, domino’s everything in 5-8 minutes walking distance. Very convenient location.

The lobby area was nice. Room was hot, as well as hallway to the room. Room was falling apart…. Shower was separated from the wall…. Wall paper pealing off of the walls….. for sure not worth $155 a night, Maybe a $50 a night hotel.

Heard gun shots the first night there while sotting outside in pool area.

Bathroom dirty on arrival. Bugs crawling in the sink. Hair and mold in the shower. Had a tiny roll of TP left. Housekeeping never came, so we went to the front desk to get more. Were assured housekeeping cleans every other day. Never once came the entire trip. Garbage was overflowing and no kleenex was left. AC kept turning on and off, no consistency. The hotel itself was alright, but overall a disppointing stay for the price.

Did not get houskeeping service. As i checked out and expressed this to the front desk person, she didn’t care at all.

Friendly, professional front desk staff. The wallpaper over the bed is peeling. Twoply toilet paper would be nice.

The restaurant needs to have vegan options for dinner. I was able to get avocado toast without the egg for breakfast, but there were no vegan options of substance for dinner.

Never checked into accidental reservation therefore low score give. Dont know why receiving this questionnaire. Booked for some out of town guests, they were very happy

Our trip to Houston was part of a larger vacation. We choose this hotel because it advertised a pool and hot tub. Our stay was in mid-March. Neither the pool, nor the hot tub was available for guests to use. Apparently the hotel thought it could save money by closing them. For me, that is FALSE ADVERTISING.

The property is clean and the lobby is comfortable and modern. Their was a sign that stated there was a whirlpool but I could not find it.

Staff is very kind, hotel is ok. Expected a little better from a courtyard line. Tvs need updating whatever causes it, it takes 15 seconds from when button pressed on remote does anything on the TV like to change channel or check guide etc. The bed was not very conformable. Can hear loudly in wall must be a pipe running right next to my bed when someone above uses water or flushes toilet. Balcony outside room was littered with wasp nest in the corners. Hot tub outside water looked green and so full of leaves and twigs would never considupgrades. Water pressure wasn't great. Bathtub made horrible creaking noises when stepped in, sounded like it was ready to break at any second, was scared to take a shower. Price isn't bad but think they need to make some upgrades.

Kate checked me in and it was easy. The room was exactly like the photos. The room was comfortable. Kate and Robert were both very amazing and attentive during my stay. They made me feel right at home. Robert even gave me food options in the neighborhood. Everything about my stay was perfect.

Staff was over the top friendly. Hotel bar was a very nice. Only reason its not all 5’s is because our fridge didn’t work. Plenty of grocery stores/restaurant’s near by!

Parking is too dark at night not enough space for parking. Hotel sheets smelled dirty especially pillow cases, smelled moldy and dirty as soon as we entered room.

There was a very weird clear sticky substance around the windows and the ac unit. We think it was because of bugs. Like a poison. The bathroom sink had flies coming out of it. I have pictures to back up all this info. I would never stay here again to save my life. Extensive construction and taped off areas. Couldn’t use gym. Starbucks breakfast, the girls working counter didn’t know how to make any of the food they listed. In the evening the counter turns into a bar, again the girls working didn’t know how to make or serve drinks. STOP CHARGING FOR AMENITIES YOU DON’T PROVIDE! Also, if part of your amenities are broken or y provided, then you need to charge less/offer a discount.

The room had not little supplies....no drinking cups for water, no explanation of how coffee pot operates, not breakfast provided, no receipt at check-in, no room clean unless requested by guest. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I would not ever consider a Courtyard Hotel again.

We will never be back, feel bad because the staff was really friendly, but the clean list in the room were not good at all, The room needs a lot of renovation, we also found cigarette rats and tobacco pouch behind the couch.

This may have been our most disappointing Courtyard stay to date. The staff was lovely but the property is old. The lobby is nice but the rooms are dated - so much so they look dirty although they aren't. Our air conditioner was so loud and rattled all night and none of us got a good night's sleep. We didn't have enough towels and our washcloths were yellowed with age. We did not have a wastebasket or tissues in our room. The parking lot was coned off at all but one entrance which made gaining access tricky, since it is on a busy street. I would not stay there again. Again, the staff was lovely but the building itself needs some work.

I enjoyed my stay. If I had any anything negative to say it would be to provide info on food services available at the hotel in the room.
