The staff is great. Property management needs to refurbish this established. All furnishings are worn. Curtains are see thru. It's definitely budget but it ain't ballin on a budget. The budget needs to be reevaluate to allow some refurbishment.

First off, the staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful. This is a budget motel and you get what you pay for. The rooms are clean. The furniture is very worn out. The curtains in our room were thread bare. You could see through them. The fridge constantly made noise. The bathroom is micro size. It is very difficult to even get in and out of the bathroom due to its small size. The carpet in common areas is dirty and worn. The pool itself is clean. The landscaping is non existent. They only have five chairs and one umbrella for use. Luckily, all the guests when we visited were very nice and we all shared the limited number of chairs so us older folks had places to sit. It has not been maintained well and and maintenance is very shoddy. This location definitely needs an update. It would definitely increase business. Hopefully, tbe owners will be willing to pour some money in and refurbish this establishinment. It filled a need for us as we needed a place to stay close to MD Anderson that didn't break the bank. Next time we will probably break the bank to stay at a place a little nicer. Now we know!

We had two rooms in the 3 days we were there. Both rooms were disgusting. The worst was room 341. The walls were dirty. We could not use the couch or chairs because they were so dirty. The bathtub leaked and got the floor soaked. The caulking job was terrible. The bathtub felt like you could fall through it. The air unit kicked on in the middle of the night and woke us up because it smelt like nasty burnt pee. They did not come clean our room when I asked that they do at the front desk. The only thing available for breakfast was coffee, hot water and a basket of cereal bars. Being a hockey family we have been in many hotels and I have never experienced such uncleanliness. The staff was friendly and apologized but gave the excuse that they are an extended stay and only clean their rooms every 14 days! What?? Not acceptable.
- 2/5
Hallways smelled terrible. No creamer for the coffee, and to top it off no water to shower, brush teeth or flush toilets. On a positive note, the bed was very comfortable and clean.

The new owners have made great progress since our first stay here in March, and it’s clear they are putting a lot of effort into improving the property. One area that could benefit from a little more attention is the cleanliness of the rooms and laundry room. Because many guests are staying here while undergoing cancer treatment, having a clean and sanitary environment is especially important. I mention this simply because I know how much of a difference it can make and because it is such an important part of providing a comfortable stay for everyone.

Suites were clean & space was very adequate. Bed was comfortable. Staff at front desk, pleasant. The only complaint: Advertised as “Breakfast” included. Didn’t notice a cafeteria when we arrived. Only to find out that there was a small coffee bar with nutrigrain bars & sometimes small muffins. Coffee creamers not always available.

I had to leave early because the bed wasn't comfortable. I work in the medical center, and the front desk advised I would be refunded for the night's stay. They completely lied. I reached out to Hotels.com multiple times, and they also did nothing to fix the issue. I booked it based on false pictures because the hotel doesn't look nice on the inside. It smells in the building, especially in the elevator. The air conditioner in the room was leaking. I won't stay again.

For the price and location in the Medical Center, you can't find a better deal. Staff are very helpful and nice. Parking is FREE! Threre are kitchenettes. And the rooms have walk-in showers! This is my go to hotel now when I have appointments at the Medical Center.

- 5/5
The hotel is very convenient to the Medical center, downtown and surrounding areas such as pearland and Sugarland. The staff was always available to answer questions. Shumalia who checked me in to the second part of stay was very kind and helpful. She was able to assist me nicely with my many questions. I highly recommend this hotel for its conscience and helpful staff.
- 2/5
The rooms look nothing like the pictures on the google page. The restroom in the room was cracked around the edges .
- 1/5
If there was zero stars I would give it. There were bedbugs in my room, molded around the shower missing fire smoke alarm. My room was moved and I found more bugs in the shower area. The health department needs to adore investigation there. The management over a one week stay gave me a $22 discount for my inconveniences. Extremely disappointing. No soap at all on site for any laundry, and the breakfast is nonexistent. The lady who serviced her around seemed very very nice, it appears management has restrictions on the amount of time they are allowed in each room to clean
- 5/5
The breakfast could have been a little bit more hardy.
- 5/5
Clean room. Staffing was very helpful. Coffee was very good.
- 5/5
Staff super mega friendly and accomodating. Clean property and neat room. Breakfast is limited to coffee and wrapped pastries...not hot, just grab and go.
- 2/5
Property needs serious physical repair. Floors were uneven, flooring in bathroom was separated from tub with flooring visibly decaying underneath it. Hallways were very poorly ventilated. Door to the room did not fit properly - it had to be lifted to get it to latch. Flip lock on the door had been forcibly removed or seriously damaged and loosely remuneration. Only saw 1 housekeeping staff member. She was pleasant and polite. From desk personnel were slow to respond to the desk. We will not stay here again.

I checked out soon after I checked in, so I did not stay the night at the property. Upon entering the room, I started to turn on lights - some worked, some didn’t. When I turned the light on in the combined closet/bath area, I was greeted by an unwanted guest. After showing the pic to the front desk clerk, Bri (sp?), she was very apologetic and kind in instructing me to follow up with hotels.com about my complaint.

Room was moldy and old. A/C did not work. Staff very friendly. Hotels full so we could not change rooms. Wife had surgery at MD Anderson at 5:00 a.m. next morning. Neither of us able to sleep.
- 1/5
Our room did not have a chair to bath in & it was a handicap room. Our A/C was horrible… It would stay on for about 30 to 40 minutes then turn off. My husband had to get up & turn it on all night. Then when we got up at around 6am the A/C started to stay on. We were sweating all night. Then they said if we got the sheets dirty that they would charge us an extra fee. I will never stay here again

I've seen a lot of reviews about cleanliness for this hotel but tried it anyway...I did not see any issues with cleanliness. You can't really call the "Breakfast" a breakfast...muffins, granola bar and coffee, NO flavored creamer so that was out for me. I have to have either flavored coffee or flavored creamer!! HaHa! For the price and GREAT LOCATION for MDA, this is an acceptable hotel. I don't need 5 stars, I just need clean.

This hotel is NOT walking distance to ANYTHING. There are no nearby coffee shops or quick garb and go places. You must make sure you have what you need. The rooms are super outdated and a lot of broken stuff. Our shower door was broken (sliding door off its tracks); we had crooked outlets, burnt out outlets, peeling paint, the stove top was cruddy and stained, stains on the bathroom door, the rolling office chair, and the night table. The TV faces the curtains and there are no seats there so it’s unclear how you would use it. It wasn’t cheap either and for the price you pay it really isn’t worth it. Feels more like an old Motel.
- 2/5
This hotel is in dire need of renovation. The toilet seat was not attached securely and it was a miracle that no one fell off. The “furnished” kitchen had no dishes. The extra charges were ridiculous. The grab and go breakfast was bad. Coffee very weak and the pastries awful.
- 1/5
Hotel smelled awful. Dirty hallways. Broken cabinets in room.
- 4/5
Everything was real nice in the room. The clean kitchen items picked up from the desk helped us feel that everything was safe to use. The room thermostat was tricky and took some figuring out. All in all, really good value and a nice place to stay in the medical district.

Location. Dirty. Poorly kept. Rooms smell either like mold or cigarettes. Roaches free roam. Coffee is like warm at best that’s because it’s yesterday’s microwaved coffee. No utensils, no paper plates - bowls etc… in short stay away from here.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly!
- 2/5
Only stayed one night. Noisy, no safety bars in the shower, toilet to short. No luggage cart available when needed at 5am. Had to come back in to check out after 7am. Still no luggage cart available at that time either. Read above statement. Would not recommend this establishment at all.

I smells like mold. 😔
- 5/5
The location is great if you have a loved one in and out of appointments at any of the surrounding hospitals/clinics. Although there isn't a shuttle service, Uber gives you pretty decent rates.Great way to get around and get to know the city. Staff were absolutely wonderful and very sweet! Felt like I was right at home. A side from the no shuttle service. I do wish they could upgrade the breakfast bar a bit. There is alot of foot traffic through there. Bigger breakfast bar, happier guest. I was told that this location is now under new management and you can absolutely tell the difference. Don't knock em till you try em !

Room smelled like rotten milk ac didn’t work . Will never rent from them again.

The location did not match the pictures. I slept in a sweatsuit instead of my pajamas because I was scared bugs would come out. I did not see any bugs but the location just looked scary. The furniture was old. And I was scared to sit anywhere other than the bed BC I HAD TO SLEEP. The shower was broke. It was a terrible experience

Staff was exceptional. Very respectful, responsive and resourceful. Room was clean - recliner and couch were worn. Bed was comfortable. A/C - 2 units in each room, worked well. I forgot this is extended stay and didn’t bring my hairdryer. Parking is great and secure. Fabulous location and price for medical district.
- 1/5
don;t stay, too dirty, smell of cigs, stained linen, no crockery or silverware in the rooms
- 4/5
Air conditioning was good, nice & cold. Parking, a mess. Huge pot holes all around the back. If you are not there very early, all parking in the front will be taken, leaving you to park in the back. Most entry doors with key cards do not work, even the staff knows it. If you have to park in the back, be prepared to walk all the way around the building to the front to enter.

The rooms, compared to other extended stays, were a little more out dated it seemed. Which is no bother really. But I was surprised to see none of the utensils, dinner ware, cups, and even the coffee machine that usually comes with at least a few cups and other items to make coffee or tea; wasn't there. Rather had to be requested. More of the "trap/quick hookup" crowd (stereotyping, I know) seemed to be the prominently staying occupents at the time. Front desk lady was super helpful and kind, and the rooms cleanliness overall wasn't bad.

Got to the hotel checked in went to our room just to find it has roaches by the bedding on the kitchen, ACs heaters were not working properly. Rude staff..gave me a rusty and greasy pan. I ask to replace them the staff says they’re all the same. I was shock. the next morning the car right next to my car 4 tires got stolen. It’s not safe to stay in this hotel. I ask to refund my money and move to an other hotel. Never stay again in this hotel. the hotel smell terrible. Absolutely not recommended.
- 2/5
IMO, they should not advertise breakfast included. It's a packet of instant oatmeal and a muffin in a bag. I won't be back.
- 2/5
However, when I got to the room, I found that the security lock was missing screws and was loose, about to come off the wall. I was traveling with my child, so the moment we got to the room, she had to use the facilities. When I went back to the front desk to request a different room because the security feature was faulty, her first response shouldn’t be “our housekeeping isn’t available to clean the room” that I was just in because the toilet was used. I get it. An unused room for the day is a necessity. However, a faulty security feature isn’t a reason to tell a customer your housekeeping isn’t available. She provided us a different room….but I felt she was inconvenienced by the ask. The second room had a much better security latch. While in the room, the AC cooled the room remarkably fast….however, as the night went on, the AC would turn off. Now, some may say, the room reached the temperature and was in a “hold” status to restart when the got hot, going above the set temperature. That was not the case. Multiple times in the middle of the night I left bed to look at the temperature and it was “off”.

Staff and parking were good. Room 322 needs much attention. The bathroom floor is peeling up and the door lock really didn’t work well. My husband put a chair under the door knob to secure the door. Bed was comfortable but carpet looked nasty.

- 3/5
Very close to MD Anderson, but there was a truck up on blocks when I stayed. Also the rear doors didn’t open with the keycard.
- 3/5
Room was clean. Comfortable bed. Bathtub needs to be replaced.
- 2/5
Room was smelly and stuffy. Some kind of grinding at 2am. Pur dloor about 3am. Ned hurt my bad. Won't stay here again
- 1/5
The room was in terrible condition. We had to switch rooms because the toilet wasn’t working properly. The burners in the second room barely worked. The tub leaked. The floors were uneven and buckled. Worst of all, there was black mold on the bathroom ceiling.
- 3/5
Staff was super courteous. Rooms were spacious. Only one of the stove eyes worked no biggie. Water pressure wasn't all that great but overall not that bad. Didn't like that the key card pad from the outside didn't work
- 3/5
Needs repairs. Staff was ok
- 3/5
The people at the front desk were not very knowledgeable about the hotel. It promised a full kitchen but you had to get dishes one at a time. The breakfast was disappointing.
- 5/5
The proximity to md anderson. The staff was very nice. Rooms very clean
- 3/5
Would not recommend.
- 2/5
I’m disappointed in this stay but I suppose you get what you pay for. The room had many issues: the AC kept shutting off, the bedroom door did not close, the bathtub would not hold water, the couch was broken in the middle, the recliner didn’t work, the fridge kept making a loud grinding sound, the living room TV had a bad blue tint making it unusable… The list goes on. To top it off, they offered a tiny muffin and a packet of dry oatmeal for the “breakfast” and had the audacity to charge $1/each for a free local call. Just sucked all the way around.
- 2/5
The room was gross. We pulled out the sofa bed and a large amount of debris was covering the mattress and covered the floor when it was completely unfolded. The pull out mattress was also severely stained. I told the staff of how gross the mattress was and how it dumped debris all over the floor. They handed me a broom and told me to sweep it off the bed and sweep the floor. The regular bed had hair all over it. The front desk clerk was fairly rude when we requested access to the vending machine that supposed to be 24 hours, but was locked up after 10pm.

2nd-no remote for TV 3rd-trash was left behind door piled up 4-Switched to another room with one less bed. Not as I requested. Still charged for the same room. Staff was very nice and professional and apologized, but its the company itself that should provide better options so employees can accommodate and give prompt solutions for travelers….sorry I would not stay again.
- 2/5
The room is neglected, with the shower was not working and the refrigerator was very noisy. The breakfast was only commercial muffin and coffee, and ran out before the indicated time.
- 3/5
Shower had low pressure and was leaking. Toilet was constantly running and had a slow leak. Door security lock latch had been damaged. Bed was comfortable. AC units were great. Room size was also very good.
- 4/5
Most everything was good. There were a couple of things that need to be fixed. The doors to the parking lot didn’t allow us to come back in, the card reader didn’t work. The telephone in the room didn’t work and the luggage cart had 2 torn up tires. But, otherwise it was nice and cozy although the bed was firmer than we prefer.
- 4/5
Clean, staff friendly, solves problems quickly, very close to the hospital which is reason we are here. Only thing is the coffee and breakfast go super fast not sure why. This is why I didn’t give it a for or five.
- 1/5
Didn’t have the room I booked
- 4/5
The room was clean. I was surprised and pleased that they changed out my towels every other day and collected the trash. Since the policy implied that this service wasn't regular. The hotel is on the old side but is well kept.
- 1/5
I hate that I’m forced to give one star for this hotel. When I arrived at the hotel, there was no one at the front desk and I waited for over half an hour for someone to arrive. The lounge actually filled up with people waiting, and she was very unapologetic. The hotel was filthy. The floor actually felt sticky. The elevator did not work. There was not power on one wall of my room. But based on the service I received at the front desk I did not actually fill that anything would be done about half of the room not having power. She couldn’t even be bothered to check people in. I’m sure she wasn’t concerned about a lack of power. I actually had to run an extension cord to charge my phone. I don’t know what was happening on the third floor of this building, but it sounded like there was a bowling alley above my room. The hotel advertised breakfast and this consisted of three muffins that were on the side table in the lobby. And I left pretty early. So I don’t think I missed the grand breakfast spread. Also, the parking lot felt unsafe. And there was a guy in the lobby, saying that his truck had been broken into and a gun had been stolen from his truck. I actually felt pretty nervous going back out to my car to get the rest of my things. This may have been the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Was broken until the day before we left and was told on arrival has been broken a year. Tub Leaked at the bottom onto the floor. Staff was friendly and nice. Some outlets did not work. Light flickered in the bathroom. Room 341
- 3/5
During our stay, the elevator was out of order so we had to carry our luggage up and down the stairs. Also upon arrival the room had a very bad odor, similar to stinky feet. The bathroom and towels were very clean.
- 5/5
Great location. Easy walk to TMC and TMC transit station. Easy drive to Hobby airport. Will plan to stay again.

- 4/5
Elevator did not work. Carried bags to the 3rd floor.
- 5/5
The location was very convenient to walk to MD Anderson hospital.
- 1/5
The room was neglected. There was cockroaches everywhere.
- 1/5
The elevator was out of service. The breakfast was taken muffins. We had dirty towel. We sneezed all night due to the neighbors smoking weed.thr front desk attendant was clearly stressed out.
- 1/5
Elevator not working for a long time now, so everyone takes the stairs.. Very dirty room. Dishwasher broken. Pullout bed broken. Dirty stove. Safety lock not working on door. Requested king size bed and only got regular bed, and I had made my reservation on November 26th for a January 5th stay! They said limited rooms because not all of them are clean.
- 2/5
Smelly and sheets were dirty stained
- 3/5
Beds were very worn out Free breakfast doesn't exist. There is coffee, there were 2 pots of instant oatmeal but no bowls and a little basket with some mini muffins!
- 5/5

- 1/5
Elevator broken couch torn shower curtain wayyy to small
- 1/5
Thankfully only stayed one night.
- 5/5
Staff went above and beyond with their attention to details. Rooms were extremely comfortable. The property is located in a very nice area.
- 3/5
Staff was friendly and competent. The outside card reader for the door to the outside on our hall was nonfunctional causing me to have to traverse to the front door..
- 3/5
The property was not kept well. Light bulbs were not replaced and bugs were present a few places. but, the location is good.
- 1/5
I was not happy, the elevator did not work, the toilet stopped up, and it took someone 2 hours to come to the room to take care of it. I called Expedia, and they stated that if I checked out after calling the front desk, I would only be charged for 1 day, but unfortunately, I was charged for 2 days. I checked out, no later than 1:00, and they said I checked out after 6:00 p.m., which is not true. Had I known they would charge for two days after the Expedia call to the front desk, maybe they could have given me a different room, but it was not offered to us, knowing the reason for our checkout. This was such an inconvenience because I had to go to a different spot in which money was pending in my account ,
- 5/5
Room was very large…
- 3/5
Staff was great, elevator did not work. Otherwise OK
- 3/5
Elevator not working.
- 1/5
Room smelled like weed then , then elevator was out all while I was there
- 3/5
OK
- 2/5
Elevator has been broke last two times we stayed here. Ice machine Broke. The side door swipe hasn’t worked the last three times. It is blocked open with a Rock.
- 1/5
Air conditioner kept cutting off during the night. Elevators were out of order. We were there for a knee replacement the next day and had to walk up 3 flights of stairs. No linens for couch bed. Front desk said we had to come there to get them. Back down 3 flights of stairs and up again!! She did finally bring them to us. No extra pillows for couch bed.
- 5/5
Great receptionist. Clean room. Perfect location to access Md Anderson.
- 1/5
Hallway smells bad. Elevator broke, had to lug bags up stairs. Staff was friendly. Remote won't get menu. Air conditioner made noise all night. Room was clean. Got no sleep because of the noisy air conditioner.
- 2/5
Room smelled like urine . Elevators didn’t work .
- 2/5
It was ok.
- 2/5
Elevator messing up. Smells like weed all the time in the halls. AC messed up.
- 2/5
The maintenance of the room was poor, with no accessibility of drinking water. They serve almost nothing in the name of breakfast. It has a kitchen with each apartmen with no utensils and basic cutlery... which means it was useless for people who are visiting for short term stay.
- 1/5
But we have been charged twice. I have called to have the charges reversed.
- 3/5
Water damage in the bathroom, but everything was functional.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Great staff.
- 4/5
Yes and yes
- 4/5
Compared to the motel I fled from it was much better. Everything worked although several outlets were tied to light switches which took a bit to figure out. The laundry was not on the advertised 2nd floor but on the 3rd and the elevator was broken. I could literally walk 10 minutes around the corner and be in the main MD Anderson complex. Full size fridge. Didn't need any of the extras so didn't ask. The WiFi login didn't work well with my phone so used it as a hotspot for my laptop. TV also had a strange blue shift so didn't watch it
- 2/5
Side doors did not work with key cards had to go all the way around to front entrance with luggage packages. That was a very nuisance. Also, the smell in one of the hallways and pool area. Side doors did not work with key cards had to go all the way around to front entrance with luggage packages. That was a very nuisance. Also, the smell in one of the hallways was terrible (Weed). Literally a teenager was smoking it right outside one of the side doors under the beds was disgusting. You could tell the broom never hit that part. Besides that room was clean.
- 1/5
Shumaili the receptionist was so rude, unprofessional and she was talking her own indian language as the customers were standing in front of her.. pool was disgusting, the elevators didn't work.. i had no choice but to leave after arriving for a couple of hours... phone wasn't working... overall i will not recommend it
- 5/5
Paint peeling off the wall. Low water pressure. Floor in bathroom damaged. Shower sliding door broken.
- 2/5
The price far to high for how dirty the room is it’s definitely spacious but no unexceptionable shirts had a green stain ac leek water
- 4/5
Room was clean enough. Curtains, walls could use some updating.
- 3/5
Left before breakfast. They don't offer shampoo for visitors
- 1/5
Kitchen had NOTHING in it. The only breakfast was coffee.
- 3/5
I was in a downstairs unit. Someone above our room caused loud noises of disburance majority of the night.
- 1/5
I've stayed there at least 90 times I try to overlook it the convenience is great but I try to overlook the conditions but the conditions keep getting worse and worse and worse the elevator is out most of the times three of the last four times I've been there the elevators been out. I overlook the fact that the furniture disappears like no sofa in this one no chairs in this room there's always little roaches but overlook that because of the price but it's this time I can't overlook it so I'm going to pull them off my list and pay more money and drive a further distance to the hospital
- 1/5
We had to get our own towels sheets trash bags and throw our trash. We stayed 7 days. Were told no room service until 14 days. Housekeeping staff were nice and would clean if you asked. You could tell they were afraid of management. Breakfast was small muffin. No carpet in rooms. Hotel smelled really bad. Location is perfect for medical appointments. Have to return in January . We won't be staying there!!!
- 4/5
It is what it is. Room was clean. Smoke alarm was missing, the whole shower fixture was loose and the bed felt like a bunch of cardboard boxes. AC worked good though and you do get a full kitchen. For an emergency stay at a cheap price i cant really complain. Destiny at the frint counter was super nice as well.
- 2/5
Staff was great, hotel not so much
- 2/5
The bed was terrible. It had a two inch sway in the middle
- 5/5
Elevator was not working
- 3/5
Staff were super friendly. Even helped my senior dad look for his wallet he lost! The hotel itself was clean but air vents were really dirty. Ac didn’t work the first night but was quick to fix the next day. Love the staff not the hotel.
- 2/5
The bed was terrible. It was two inches lower in the middle than on the sides. (Sway back)
- 1/5
The air did not stay on it was hot in our room we didnt rest at all and had to be at the hospital at 8 am. The whole hotel smelt like weed it was a terrible experience ill never stay there again or recommend to anyone
- 5/5
Maria at front desk offered outstanding service and is a good ambassador for the hotel
- 1/5
Nothing like pictures posted!
- 1/5
Rooms are dirty, seen some cockroaches but it’s a convenient location and affordable for our visits to the medical center.
- 1/5
Fix the Elevator, shower drian, ours the water would stay took long to go down the drain, accommodate those who cant ise stairway!
- 1/5
Fix the elevator
- 3/5
The rooms were clean, I like a full kitchen. The elevator was not working and the thermostat in the room was pre programed so it keeps reverting to the set temp every couple of hours. Woke up in middle of night burning up and the AC was changed again, made it hard to sleep well and get comfortable. They advertise a breakfast but all they had was coffee and 1package of instant oatmeal, nothing like their pictures advertised.
- 4/5
Elevator was not working. No rooms on first floor. I’m cancer patient at MdAnderson. It was difficult task walking stairs
- 1/5
Came back and elevator was still broken. I had asked for a room on the first floor…however they didn’t have one…only in the 3rd floor. Understood i have cancer and undergoing chemo treatments-I cannot walk up 3 stairs. Finally the manager came and was able to make accommodations for me on the first floor. It was very stressful-i drive 4 hours to rest before and after. Thankfully they made it work…however not certain if I will book another night.
- 3/5
Place was fine for 1-night stay. Hotel should take some pride in their facility and replace old tattered curtains. Look from outside is drab and sets the standard. Get rid of broken down cars in parking lot. Also, breakfast was not good - Coffee and instant oatmeal - no fresh fruit or anything of the sort. We were there to visit our family who recently had major surgery and will be there for at least a month - probably will not come back to this hotel.

We had a king suite reservations and when we got to the hotel the elevator was broken. My husband can not go up stairs so we were moved to a queen size with broken air conditioner had to move to a new room with twin beds .
- 2/5
The breakfast provided was 2 granola bars or everyone to share and packaged oatmeal. When checking, we got a room with the ac not working and a broken window that wouldn't close. Elevator was out and my daughter is in a wheelchair. The room was booked with that info and they tried putting us on the 3rd floor. They then said they was only 1 room available on the first floor and they don't ususally give that one out. I told them that they really didnt have a choice. Only 1 handicap space near the front that was occupied so I had to park extremely far and was not enough space to take the chair down. Men screaming out front both in the morning and evening. Approached by a man staying at the hotel asking for our cups and yelljng about different things.
- 2/5
One of the ac’s ddnt work so the room was warm not comfortable.. elevators weren’t workin and that was hard as I was in Houston for a medical procedure… there was also a roach in my room…
- 3/5
The clientele is a bit suspect and some of the characters hanging around the outside of the hotel were a bit sketchy. The access door on the north side of the hotel didn’t work with the room key and access late at night did not always work with the key.
- 5/5
the place if very clean, beds are comfortable, A/C works great and quiet and the staff (Maria, Sasha) were great people. I would definitely recommend staying here again.
- 5/5
Our stay was better than the others. The staff was friendly, we got the bottom floor close to the door as requested. My momma is a cancer patient and disabled this helped greatly. We were also right around the corner from the hospital so no excessive travel or stress. The front desk lady ( can’t remember her name) was super in getting us what we needed. We will be having more visits to the hospital so most likely be staying again
- 3/5
The proximity to the Medical Center is a plus. Otherwise, the condition of the furniture, appliances, etc. Is worn, and do not expect more than a few snacks put out for breakfast.
- 4/5
This hotel is way outdated. The lights were so dim, it literally felt like a scary movie! Beds are worn! Water pressure was low!
- 3/5
Elevator was out for the entire 3 days so walking the stairs with luggage wasn’t a pleasant experience. TV in my room was distorted and even worse was their ads telling me how they have upgraded their tvs every time I turned it on. Staff was pleasant I will say and coffee was good
- 1/5
Dry wall had a hole and patched up. Refrigerator was making quite a bit of noise Found cockroaches in the bathroom. Airconditioning had a smell. Bed was not comfortable and at night we felt insect bites. Only coffee for breakfast, management would not offer muffins or even fruits for breakfast. There was no drinking water fountain available Accessibility to general stores is very limited. Floors were not clean, chairs were quite dirty and TV remote was broken. Staff was impolite in certain cases. No basic moisturizer or shampoo was provided, only 2 soap bars. We were expected to request for dishes and and utencils. When provided were unclean. Gas stove needs an upgrade. The seating area outside the main entrance is also not maintained and has safety hazards like metal rod sticking out of the side walk. Overall, the management needs to do a much better job of maintaining this property. A thorough investigation is needed.
- 1/5
Stayed 3 times, something different broken every time. Run down, dirty, trash overflowing, like staying overnight at a friends ghetto apartment with all the noise and tomfoolery you'd expect. I have 8 to 10 more trips to this area over the next two years. I'll sleep in my car before staying here again.
- 1/5

Was there for Cancer appointments at MD Anderson and the Elevator does not work with no attampt to repair for the 4 days I was there. Vending machines took your money and the front desk refused to help.
- 1/5
Elevator didn’t work. Side entrance didn’t work. Shower door wouldn’t close. Poor maintenance on property
- 1/5
The first room (151) we were given was never cleaned and the entire hall smelled of marijuana. We got the front desk to change our room. The second room (125).. the A/C didn’t work well, there were roaches in kitchen area, there were fully exposed electrical outlets, barely any water pressure, and that hall also reeked of marijuana and cigarettes. We took a very long trip to visit Texas children’s hospital and we had no choice but the stay in this place bc of the condition my severely disabled son was in due to the exhaustion from the drive.
- 2/5
When I checked in the only room available was on the third floor and the elevator was out of service.
- 1/5
Family emergency caused us to book these hotels to allow us to stay near the hospital just for them to force us to cancel 1 room once we arrived telling them room was unavailable and then the second room they gave us was locked and unable to be slept in. We called over to front desk and they tell us “not much we can do” what do you mean not much we can do?? Finally after 20 minutes or so they give us a room with 1 king bed and 1 sleeping sofa which is the same room we had booked for the 2nd booking and told us wasnt available??? Make it make sense. Worst part is they gave us sheets, pillows, and pillow cases because that the “beds weren’t made” & on TOP of that “your room is on the 3rd floor oh and btw our elevator isn’t working” WDYM??? Worst hotel stay ever. If i could give negative 5 stars I would
- 2/5
Not staying here again. Was here for a MD Anderson appointment and the whole place has gone down hill.
- 1/5
STAFF WAS VERY RUDE
- 1/5
I would not recommend anyone staying here no matter how affordable it is - in the long run, it’s not worth it.
- 3/5
The stay was ok. Elevator didn’t work we had to carry our luggage up 3 flight of stairs it said free breakfast well it was only coffee and there was only 1/2 a cup left when I went downstairs at 8am. Vending machines didn’t work with credit card only cash
- 3/5
Shower was hard to use ac kept shutting off
- 1/5
Nothing worked. The side door key not working, laundry room not working, lights down the hallway not working at night it was pitch black, you have to take out your own trash, towels have to be taken to front desk to get clean ones, TV not working properly, you have to pay extra if you want the room to be cleaned. They only service the room every 7 days. Roaches. Smells.
- 1/5
Insects in room, filthy , tv screen was blue and the contrast could not be adjusted :(
- 1/5
There was no AC. The cleaning service threw away my food and my toothbrush. My key repeatedly did not work and front desk did not fix it and did not replace my room due to A/C issues.
- 3/5
Not as advertised.
- 5/5
Well kept facility. Large clean room., we had the king with kitchen. Just beware of the toddler commode!
- 1/5
Location and affordable rate are only reason to choose this place. Didn't expect any more.
- 4/5
The location was ideal for my MD Anderson visits. Didn’t feel safe enough to walk to my appointment though, so I ended up driving. The room was clean though needed some work done in the kitchen. The dishwasher looked unsafe. I saw one bug and took care of it. The fridge/freezer was a lifesaver! Even with how busy they seemed and the electronic issues with keys and outer door access, it was a quiet stay at night. A lot of slamming doors during the day which is frustrating if you’re trying to rest. I would recommend if you need a reasonable clean place to stay for a few days.
- 1/5
My room was infested with roaches, female roaches carrying egg sacks, male roaches, baby roaches. It was so bad I had to sleep with the lights on hoping they would hide. There were so many roaches that they were moving around with the lights on I spent at least an hour before going to bed killing roaches. I put my items in the refrigerator. I wrapped up other items in clear plastic trash cans bags making sure there they were airtight. The grab and go breakfast was a joke no muffins, no hot water for tea the coffee temperature was lukewarm. This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed at in my LIFE.
- 4/5
Nice
- 1/5
Saw roaches and the a/c was leaking. They had to change me out of rooms because the first rooms was still leaking and smelled and it happened to the other room as well. Then they assume I smoked because they said the hallway smelled of smoke. It always seems like smoke.Do better with customers I stayed for a couple months.
- 1/5
The property was very rundown and not very clean.
- 1/5
The staff was not friendly, the room was filthy with a for lock that didn’t function, and the walls are so thin that I heard street noise all night.
- 1/5
The room had roaches! As in more than one!! And when I told the front desk attendant they seemed unphased, almost as if they were used to it. All they said was that a note would be made to let their manager know. That was it.
- 3/5
Property is close to the metro, that's a plus. Their "breakfast" consisted of coffee, muffins, oatmeal and nutrigrain bars. My door (214) looked like it had been kicked in at some point. The door was difficult to shut and I didn't feel safe. I was only there a few hours between flights so not a big deal for me but someone staying longer may have issues. Beds are comfy, clean as they can get it I suppose, it is very outdated. Tiles in tub were pushed in, cracks in ceiling and walls... Needs work for sure
- 1/5
Unprofessional stuff ( one person is saying one thing and the other one is saying totally opposite thing). Some stuff is rude. Weed smell on the first floor at night. Dirty carpet in the hallways. Old and/or dirty floors in the room.
- 1/5
Pay extra money stay somewhere else period. Room was dirty toilet didn’t work door locks broke in room and entry to building card wouldn’t work, curtains full of holes no darkness at night, trash all around property. Tv broke I would sleep in car before staying there again,, only good thing was it was convenient to hospital reason we picked it but pay extra stay somewhere else. Room had a bad smell like pets hard to deal with.
- 1/5
Run down, torn window screens, stained pull out mattress, missing light fixtures, room reeked of dirty diaper. Filthy property.
- 3/5
Hotel room needs renovation in general. Very old blankets, even though they were clean.
- 2/5
The room had a terrible smell! Your ad said breakfast was included. The breakfast (?) was coffee, a packaged muffin, and instant oatmeal. I will not trust your "breakfast included" ever again.
- 5/5
It was real convenient being so close to MD Anderson Hospital! Shower didn’t work and some kid pulled the fire alarm
- 1/5
This place is 2 steps below a dump! An absolute horrible and filthy. Only reason we stayed there because of the hospital location. My wife couldn’t walk and it’s close to hospital. Stay at your risk. I’m never coming back. I would rather pay more than to stay at this place. The staff is equally horrible and unfriendly. Disgusting people with disgusting place. No surprise.
- 2/5
This hotel was older and not kept up. The queen bed was really more like a full size bed. I saw roaches in the hall. The breakfast was a joke. We had to beg for towels. We will not stay there ever again.
- 2/5
I stayed there before and had a pretty good experience so I booked again. This time was a little disappointing. The room smelled awful, the latch was broken on the door, the bathroom door had cracks and holes in it. My daughter was scared to go to the restroom after finding a roach by the tub. I liked the hotel because its convenient to the childrens hospital, but for comfort and peace of mind I'll have to look elsewhere.
- 5/5
Very clean and peaceful place to stay close to the hospital 🏥
- 5/5
The stay was grand. They are located next to a couple of hospitals so the surrounding area is very quiet. Our room was clean and the floor we were placed in was very quiet. Now the only issue that I had was I saw a dead roach on the floor and when my husband moved the television the following morning a roach came crawling from under it. He did kill it and left it sitting dead. The continental breakfast could have had a variety of drinks instead of just coffee. I think if they offer more and get the roach issue under control then they will have an amazing establishment. Customer service from the desk clerk who checked us in was nice. But there was no gift as other hotels are doing when guest check in would’ve helped a lot.
- 1/5
Found cockroaches in bedside not just one but 4 in the night stand
- 2/5
AC unit kept powering itself off about every thirty minutes. Wife found a big wad of black hair on bottom bed sheet. Only one luggage cart available for guests checking in to stay. Floor in room was dirty and looked like it was mopped with a filthy mop. Only one small trash can in the entire room.
- 1/5
terrible
- 1/5
We woke up with roaches crawling on us. We are covered in bug bites. There was blood on the wall in the stair case. There was no one at front desk after 11 pm. At 1 am there were people in the lobby. They had reservations but no one there to get them in a room.
- 1/5
I stayed in this hotel for a week. I had a family member in a hospital close by. On the 1st night there was a homeless man who was next to the main door. We used our card key to get inside the building and the homeless man followed us inside and went in the “gym room” to sleep. The sheets were not changed the whole time we were there and we found cockroaches everywhere. I didn't sleep comfortable at all, everything was dirty. The “breakfast” is not really breakfast it’s just coffee and cereal bars. The staff was very rude and looked annoyed the whole time. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
- 3/5
It's great that there is this relatively cheap place so near the Medical Center that families can use to visit their loved ones in the hospital. For a low price, we got space for lots of people to crash for the night and then go back to the hospital. And the staff were very helpful. But it's pretty grim, with bugs in the room (killed 'em!), maintenance issues (noisy AC, curtains falling down, unusable sofabed), a "breakfast" that's really just coffee, and various people just loitering on the property grounds making people nervous.
- 4/5
Better than expected, great value for price. No breakfast

- 5/5
Staff was amazing!
- 5/5
All staff members are warm and are customer services is priority. They all were accommodating and made our stay conformable.
- 3/5
Roaches in room, issues with control on AC, hair in shower before we arrived. The front desk was very helpful, kind and pleasant.
- 4/5
Handy to MDAnderson
- 3/5
Later, i left the building for dinner, when i came back, my keys had been deactivated because it was "in a wallet next to a credit card" so no side entrance, and had to rush past the bees. In the morning, the breakfast was nutragrain bars and a coffee pot with a sign that read "no coffee this morning. Sorry -management". All the bees laid dead at the door (are they no longer endangered?)
- 2/5
Roaches everywhere. The service was average but the room was not clean or well maintained. The pool was closed without explanation the whole stay.
- 2/5
Went to Houston last minute so booking was quick but once arrived to the room it was HOT the AC wasn’t on at all. AC took forever to turn on and then it shut off by it self around 4am
- 1/5
AC was not working propert it was off and I had to turned on every 3 hours during all night. Room was too hot also in the app said they have a bed and another sofa and I found a full bed only in yhe room, no free breakfast as it was supose to have.
- 1/5
I stayed for rew hours then I had to leave. Worst experience ever.
- 4/5
Big room
- 2/5
Hotel was dated but functional.
- 1/5
I thought that since it was close to the medical centers and people stay there because their families are getting treatment that it would be a nice hotel. Wrong!! The lobby hallways smelled like a day-old rock concert, everything is terribly outdated, all the furniture in my room had rips in it, there were stains on the carpet, the curtains were falling off the rods, the AC units didn't work properly and sounded like a jet engine - one had a used Q-Tip and food particles in it!! The outlets by the sink didn't work, no one told me at check in there was a trick to turning the shower on, the shower didn't have a liner; just a flimsy shower curtain so water went everywhere - clearly not the first time since the faux wood floor linoleum was buckled, the bathtub had also been painted and was peeling, one of the beds in the double room was broken, and the outdoor key box to get back into the hotel from a side entrance didn't work so anyone could get into the hotel. I was there for business and got very little sleep, the front desk seemed uninterested when I shared what was going on with the room and I wasn't offered any compensation when I told the front desk about the used Q-Tip in the AC Unit. I don't recommend ANYONE stay at this nasty, unsanitary hotel.
- 3/5
Its in a great location. The room i was in had a smokey oder
- 2/5
The stay was not good. We selected the hotel due to its proximity to the medical center. But the hotel is really in bad condition. The tub and surround were peeling but worse than that the flooring in the bathroom was peeling up so bad that the subfloor was exposed. Stained corridor carpet, stale smells in the room—which we got people cook in the rooms. When morning came it was before 8:30am and the response to where the breakfast was that was advertised with the room, the desk clerk just said, “Oh, they’re out.” The bed and linens were clean.
- 1/5
The hotel is not well maintained. The inside lobby is dingy, needs a fresh coat of paint and has a stale smell. The hallway doors and walls also need a coat of paint as there is peeling paint and scuffs, dents. The hallway carpets need steam cleaning as they are stained. The walls inside the rooms look like they haven’t been painted since 1998 when the hotel was built. The bath’s surface was badly peeling off and the bathroom light was dim. The floors were dirty. I wiped up some water in the bathroom and my cloth was black. The hotel has a motel feel. The washbasin is outside the bathroom which is not convenient. The drawers in the kitchen area hadn’t been cleaned. It would been useful to have something to plug cell phones into by the bed and without having to pull out the bedside table. The window screens were dirty so it was difficult to see out. The only way you could get a fresh towel was to bring the dirty towel to the front desk and get a fresh one. The drapes were dirty and had holes in them. The breakfast was COVID style to go. Instant oats, muffin, Nutrigrain bar. Pros: The air conditioners worked and the beds were fairly comfortable. They need to invest in new pillows.
- 5/5
Great staff and service!

We had a great stay. The room was mostly clean except a few spots and old dried up contact lenses on the night stand. Overall this wasn't a vacation stay but we did enjoy the space. The hotel had a lot of room. The TV didn't turn all the way to face the bed and we couldn't change the picture seeing. The front desk did come up to show us how to work the shower instead of trying to tell us on the phone. He came really quick too so greatly appreciate that.

The hallway was noisy, the room was not well-insulated, and the wall unit for controlling the temperature kept turning itself off.
