    PLEASE BE AWARE SAVE YOURSELF PROBLEMS my stay at La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Houston West Park 10 booked through Booking.com on April 10, 2026. During my stay, I experienced multiple service failures, poor communication, and safety concerns that significantly impacted the quality of the accommodations provided. Upon check-in to Room 424, I discovered the television was not functioning properly. The remote control was broken and incompatible with the television, and the cable system did not work. I returned to the front desk several times seeking assistance. I was initially told by hotel staff that none of the televisions in the hotel were working, which later proved to be inaccurate. I also experienced concerns regarding professionalism and inconsistent information provided by staff throughout the course of my complaint and refund request. Most concerning was a safety issue I encountered while exiting through the rear side of the property. I witnessed an individual climbing out of a hotel window near an RV parked alongside the building. The individual appeared distressed and sweaty, which made me feel unsafe during my stay. Management should review surveillance footage from April 10, 2026, between approximately 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, as this incident should be visible on camera. Additionally, only one elevator appeared to be functioning during my stay, creating further inconvenience and concern regarding the condition of the property. Because I was informed that the televisions throughout the hotel were not working, I ultimately felt uncomfortable remaining at the property and was forced to rebook another hotel nearby at additional expense. The hotel later acknowledged in writing that there were “shortcomings” during my stay, yet refused to authorize or provide a refund, citing internal policy. Booking.com advised that hotel authorization was required to release the refund, but the hotel continues refusing to cooperate despite acknowledging the issues. I security , i was told none of the tvs in the hotel were not working and was not able to be accomodated another room and the man climbing out of the window of the hotel ,

    The sheets and towels were clean. The property was dark outside in front of of building. There were several holes in the blackout curtains, the phone had no cord so it didn’t work. Only one elevator worked. The Television didn’t work. There was no iron or ironing board in the room. Not enough towels in the room. There was no facial tissue in the bathroom. The shower heads were dirty and water leaked onto the floor.

    That I had hot water The TV's were down, the front elevator was down, the back elevator sounded like it could break down at any moment. The gentleman at the front desk gave my friend an attitude when she went down for water saying she wasn't a guest. The water was brown. Bedding had nasty stains and the hallways smelled of mold and mildew.

    I’ve stayed at several La Quintas, but never as a runner down like this one. The room had no hair blower, the TV didn’t work (according to staff - having issues with satellite); several electrical plugs didn’t work; the tub had yellow stains and when the water was turn on yellow water came out; inside was a little dirty. Staff did not care. And oh, a new one on me, had to give a $100 deposit for incidentals. I’ve never had to give deposit for incidentals. Very dissatisfied customer.

    this specific location has gone done hill terribly! Elevator broken, front doors left open to the interstate and the heat and humidity and anyone walking in and hanging out, No one was at the front desk to check in, just a sign apologizing for the inconvenience. Two tv’s in one of our rooms did not work at all, the tv in the other room only had three channels. One of our rooms had a strong odor of smoke but covered up by lots of room fragrance spray. A dog was barking in the next room over and it appeared that the people staying there, are living there for an extended amount of time. Horrible!

    No one was at the front desk for over 2 hrs to check us in or give us our room keys. We had to drive back home in the middle of the night. Even guests who needed a new key were sleeping in the lobby. We are now joping to get a refund but they claim we have to work with the booking agency and not the hotel.

    Staff was friendly. Tv only worked when room lights were turned on, only had 4 channels to choose from. Breakfast was very limited. Only 1 elevator worked. Gates around pool to parking lot were not locked. Trash cans around pool area were full of water and bugs. There was NO hot tub as was listed in amenities. Couches in lobby were dirty. Has to leave a $100 room deposit and could not charge bottled waters to the room. Definitely not a 3 star hotel.

    The hotel rooms were dirty, had to change two rooms before we got the final room which was the third room, the third room we had to manage half of the room light wasn’t working, tge curtain was torn, worst of all the bathtub was mostly brown/yellow.     Attempted to cancel within 2 hours of booking do to a change in circumstances. Expedia did very little and La Quinta refused to cancel and refund. Expedia said don’t cancel until we contact the hotel, I waited and lost all the money for a hotel I did not stay at in Houston. Poor customer service from both and unwilling to compromise.

    We showed up at 4:am after being on the road for 14+ hours. We told them we had a reservation for that day and the guy working the front desk didnt even get out of his chair to look at the computer just said we had to come back at noon. Went down the street to Motel 6 and got a room to sleep. We came back at noon and checked right in. The lady said the front elevator wasnt working but we could use the back door since that elevator was working, guess what the back door didnt work. We booked 2 rooms, we were on the 4th floor. When we arrived to our floor there was a gas smell, one of the rooms smelled like chocolate, the other room the bathtub faucet ran all the time, we told housekeeping and they said there was a maintenance request put in. They advertise that they have a "marketplace" with snacks, drinks, and other toiletries but that didnt exist. The pool was unavailable for use.

    Great location, easy to access Katy Fwy. Everything is close by. Quiet. Room is OK. Front desk young lady is friendly and amazing. Nothing to complaint about it. But this building definitely need a remodel.Elevator is not working but I don't use elevator it's FYI for others. Door handle is broken. Water is dripping in the bathroom cannot turn it off tight. I wish to stay there again but need to remodel the whole building.

    Terrible stay! My room had bugs, a broken bed, no hot water for days, and a TV that didn’t work. The receptionist was beyond rude and unhelpful. I couldn’t believe this is a Wyndham property — absolutely unacceptable. The room was filthy, uncomfortable, and poorly maintained. Do not stay here until management seriously fixes this place.

    This was one of the WORST hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I checked in, everything went downhill. My room had bugs, the bed was broken with a sunken mattress, and the TV didn’t even work. On top of that, there was no hot water for days — completely unacceptable! To make matters worse, the receptionist named Diamante was incredibly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I’ve stayed in many hotels, but this one was a complete nightmare. I honestly can’t believe this place carries the Wyndham name. Save yourself the stress — do not stay here until management does a full overhaul of staff and maintenance.

    Hotel was poorly staffed. it was unsafe to stay there. They are not there to provide hospitality but only to make a profit. I have stayed at many many many hotels in my time and I had been away almost 20 hours when I got there to rest. I still decided to just drive on through the night to my destination. I highly recommend you do not stay here. I will be going to the next level of support until I receive my refund. I never even slept in the room. There was only a 3 hour difference from when I booked, checked in, and left. I never even parked my truck. This is a horrible hotel with horrible ownership.

    My stay at this hotel was a nightmare. It is not actually a La Quinta hotel. It’s been bought by a third-party and they still have the name of La Quinta. I checked into the room I changed room because the room smelled like mold and mildew so they gave me another room And the air wasn’t on in the room when I checked in so I dropped off my bags and I came back that evening turned on the air the room smell like mold and mildew. Neither one one of my TVs worked in the living room nor the bedroom. I had actually two rooms and the same situation. The second room looked like someone had vomited outside the door I requested for my money back into be you know I’ll be able to move to somewhere else the manager, the owner stated that they cannot give me my money back and I was told at first it was a manager discretion so I had to spend a night in that hotel Without TV with mow and mildew both me and my son have asthma and bronchitis and my daughter so that morning they finally said do you want to move to a Sister facility? They didn’t try to compensate me for the uncomfortableness and inconvenience of my time being there or anything, but they did allow us to move to the other hotel that’s Sonesta and it was mediocre. OK I was very different disappointed in this whole weekend trip that I spent in their property. And the pictures online lies. It does not look like that and even the breakfast at the La Quinta was old oatmeal. The oatmeal was stuck to the inside of the package.

    Incredibly dirty room, appeared to be a dead worm on one of the beds, old food on the back of the pillows- which appeared to be couch cushions stuffed into a pillowcase, stains on the floor. After a 15+ hour drive, we just wanted to climb into a clean and comfortable bed, but we couldn’t. Overall was terrible.

    Worst experience ever staying at a hotel. It’s a very rundown facility. The curtains in the room had huge holes in them, a/c vents in the bathroom ceiling had dust accumulated. The bath tub had old stains. The water was luke warm. The bathroom sink water pressure was very low. Would never stay at this hotel again.

    Parking wasn’t lit up fence in ill repair and trees needed to be trimmed! Our room was okay, deadbolt on door would not lock! Bed was comfortable and room temp was great! Small tv limited channels! When leaving no one at front desk had to figure out on my own to put key card in bowl I assume was sanitizer! No sign nothing so I left!

    Breakfast kids loved had a little waffles for little ones hands. The pool is nice the rooms are great. The only thing I would say it was ok was a full size bed for 4 people. But that would be the only thing I would say maybe think about.
