Our stay at the Residence Inn is always fantastic, my only complaint is the pool area has not been very clean the last 2 times we have been there. The first time there was dirty bobbi pins on the pool, this time piles of hair poolside.

We had a great stay here while we were in-between houses. It is pet friendly, which our dog and cat appreciated, and the room was in good shape, the bed was comfy, and everything worked. The suite was a bit on the small side, making it a bit cramped, but we had more stuff than usual travelers because we were essentially living there for a while, so without all that it might have been fine. Breakfast was good, the staff was great, the pool looked great though I never got a chance to enjoy it, and the surrounding area was nice and safe. I would stay here again 100%

Pool closed early, whole hotel smelled like smoke.

The hotel was clean but dated. The air conditioner was very loud, and the breakfast they offered was just ok.

When I arrived to my room. I found black hair in the bed. Also the room was very hot and the thermostat didn’t work in the room. The curtains in the rooms are cheap they don’t black out the lights. The breakfast was horrible. I won’t be returning.

I decided since the property was so nice i extended my stay 3 more days.

The free breakfast was delicious and the amenities were really nice.

Staff was kind, courteous, professional and attentive! The hotel was clean, but there were certain things that needed to be addressed in our room and in common areas, but way things to be fixed. Nothing that would deter me from staying again, as these were mostly cosmetic things that needed attention.

Staff was very helpful and the room was very clean. Parking was pretty tight.

We stayed here for 9 days while in transition of buying our home. This hotel is fantastic. The staff are super friendly, the breakfast is great and they the room service was excellent. I highly recommend this place for your next trip.

This was the quietest room we've ever had. We couldn't hear noise in the hall or outside like we do at other hotels!

Rooms were clean, kitchen had all we needed for a 2 day stay. We loved the workout room, which had everything you would need while away from home. Front desk staff was very kind. Loved the breakfast!

Also, no coffee in the lobby. It’s only served during breakfast which ends at 9:30, sort of on the early side to not have coffee available for guests. Every hotel that I stay out has coffee and water available throughout the day? This is a first. They do have little coffee makers in the room, but they don’t have foam or travel cups to take it on the go? The fire pit area was also closed

If your into clean new and nice this is your place - and the bed is also fantastic- if your a coffee lover , they do a morning coffee at the bar and they charge- so NO free breakfast but a nice cup of joe is available- I would always GO BACK it was just so very clean and nice

Front desk was very welcoming, as well as other staff encountered. Room was exceptionally clean with wonderful amenities. Only one negative. Small Children running in the halls making so much noise in/ out of their suite, in the room next to me. Unfortunately, some parents don’t seem to realize or care that other patrons would like to have a peaceful stay.

Because my wife is confined to a wheelchair, we always stay in accessible rooms. Unfortunately, what many hotels promote as wheelchair accessible rooms are not. This room was wonderfully designed. Good job.

This is a hotel was once very first class but does need some sprucing up. The elevators are very slow and in general the hotel looks dated for the price.

It was a quiet 1 bedroom though the refrigerator was loud but could easily close the bedroom door. The wall paper in the bedroom could be better. It was curling up in various places. We stayed in room 616. The lighting in the main area could use soft white light bulbs or the ability to have a dimmer to not have it as bright.

It was a very nice hotel except was shown to have a pool and a hot tub pool was very nice but there is no hot tub so shouldn't be advertising one and was one of the reasons I decided to stay at this hotel

The ODOR in the bathroom was unbearable! Asked to transfer another room, same thing!!!! WHAT IS THAT SMELL, smells like sewage!!!

Great location. Clean property with spacious, clean rooms. Texas Roadhouse a minute down the road. Pool was closed which was a bummer. Easy check in and check out. Plenty of parking. Quiet, comfy bed and sleep sofa. Nice, hot breakfast. Great coffee! Would stay again.

We had to get new sheets because there were small blood stains when we went to go to bed. The fact that my husband had to go down and get them instead of them offering bringing them up wasn't ideal. Mike was great. From check in to a mid stay check out recheck in so we could stay in the same room he was super helpful. We were definitely disappointed that the pool was not open even though when we checked the website it said it was. We were able to snag breakfast a few minutes late one day when we had an early soccer game and got back to the hotel just as they were getting ready to close and appreciated them letting us do that. Overall a great stay. Wouldn't not stay again due to minor inconveniences We faced. We would definitely use them again if we had to stay in the area.

My husband was having major surgery. I booked this place because it says it has a pool…my husband can’t get his eyes wet for 4 weeks. He wanted to swim the night before his operation. When we went to get in the pool, there was a sign on the door to the pool. Nothing posted anywhere else that says pool is broken. I asked how long it’s been broken for 5 months. When I emailed Marriott, they gave us the equivalent of $8 refund. I’m so disappointed. The surgery went great but he has another surgery in 2 weeks….we need to stay at a hotel but i think we will try a Hilton this time.

The hotel staff was great, room was comfortable. The main issue was that the pool was closed. If you advertise you have an indoor pool, it should be open or there should be a discount on the room since amenities advertised are not available.

Everyone working there was so nice and willing to help us when we decided to stay an extra day.

Stayed for a few days over Christmas and things were outstanding. Of note, an employee, Renee, was incredible. It was evident that she places pride in her work and workplace. The interactions she had with us were bright and friendly. She was dressed up on Christmas Day in festive garb, and she really set our holiday off on the right foot. Working on Christmas I’d imagine some employees just phone it in, wishing they were at home and off work enjoying themselves, and understandably so, but Renee was a bright spot and the effort she put in that morning was very very appreciated. She shared her holiday cheer. We will specifically return to this Marriott Residence Inn because of her. Thank you Renee!

The swimming pool was air conditioned to the point you were uncomfortably cold. The water was like ice cubes so when my grandson jumped in he cried. A nice planned swimming event was ruined. Wish we had styed somewhere else

My friend and I stayed this past weekend. The hotel staff was so nice with check in and any questions we had during our stay. We got a handicap accessible room due to having some health issues right now that require me to use a walker. The room was indeed accessible for myself. The room was clean and we enjoyed our stay there. We mentioned about maybe eventually going back because we enjoyed the room and hotel stay so much.

They never brought new hand towels. I found that odd. They never took out the trash. The TV remote didn't work -- and I tried two.

The Residence Inn in Hunt Valley is our reliable go-to hotel for when we visit our family who live in the area. It has a convenient location, a spacious room that can accommodate 4 and has a small, well equipped kitchenette, per the usual Residence Inn’s clever lay-out. Staff are friendly and the communal space in the lobby is welcoming and lends itself to large gatherings of family or friends, with lots of nooks for smaller private parties. There’s also a nice patio space with tables and seating.

Booked this property because of the convenience of the indoor pool for my children. Was not advised that the pool was not operational during our stay. Was very disappointed and I would have booked a different hotel that had an operating pool.

Continental breakfast choices were below average.

Every employee we came into contact with at the hotel was very courteous and helpful. The front desk staff was very accommodating and met all of our needs without hesitation.

Having a full kitchen and a private bedroom area was excellent.

I was pretty annoyed that they had sold out of the room that I had reserved for 2 months in advanced. When I checked in the lady said I could get a refund and there was no more rooms left even though mine was paid for. It was terrible you should be able to have that room reserved if you already paid for it.

Beds were definitely not pillow top. Furniture was cheap and uncomfortable,not what I expected from a Marriott. The girl at the front desk on Dec.18@ around 3pm, should not have been working check in. Maybe she was having a bad day,which we all have,but she made us feel like she was doing us a favor. She was not friendly or welcoming at all. We had a problem with the coffee maker,and Housekeeping was great in responding promptly. The young man was super nice. Except for check-in, our stay was fine.

The property overall was fine, but could use a refresh on the rooms as they are getting a little long eared and worn. The biggest disappointment was the breakfasts, which was great on Day 1, but got progressively more limited each day of my stay
