Location was great. Had shuttle for the airport and was in walking distance to excellent restaurants and other eaterys. The bed was uncomfortable, furniture and walls etc were very worn down and in need of replacement/ repair. Compared to a stay at a different nearby hotel, the value/cost was not equal. Fairfield was more expensive than the hotel I stayed at (walking distance/same block) yet the room at Fairfield was significantly smaller (other room had living room, small kitchen, bedroom with door, big bathroom and a large indoor balcony. Fairfield room, though more expensive, was just a small basic room. I expected more from the Fairfield since it was almost $200 more than the competitor.

I had issues with this property and my stay as the room was hot and they wouldn’t allow me to turn the thermostat down. My wife has medical issues and we had to use three box fans to help keep her cool.

I will never stay here again. Very dirty, low ceilings, tiny bathrooms, cockroaches in our room, spider webs, dirty elevators. In general very uncomfortable and disappointing. The cleaning staff was rude and not welcoming.

Terrible place to stay, people in parking lot at 1am drinking and smoking pot. I was checked in when I hadn't even checked in yet...My room was for a disabled person which I did not ask for. People slamming doors at 1:30am. Breakfast was okay but the trash was over flowing leaving no place to throw our trash.

My credit car fell by accident between the front desk and a light fixture. They didn’t even try to see if they could get my card out. Manager just told me to get another one. The building was hot, specially on the 4th floor. Our room was set on 75 and we couldn’t change the temperature. The room was very hot. The building also seems outdated and dirty.

This hotel was perfect for our trip to Arlington for the Rangers game. We were able to get breakfast at the hotel before leaving to come back home and it was great. Everything was clean and the staff was nice.

We use the park and ride option, have good experience with leaving vehicle there while traveling. Rachel the transportation drive is always very kind and friendly.

Our stay was great here. The staff was very accommodating & seemed happy to be there. That's so rare these days. It was very clean, smelled awesome just walking through the halls. The breakfast was great with plenty of options. We had a little issue with the coolness in our room. Called the front desk they adjusted the temp & offered a fan if we needed it. We did get it for the following night & all was well. I won't hesitate to stay here again. The best stay I've had thus far in 2025.

Very happy with our stayed

Check-in was quick, and the driver went above and beyond by taking me to Raising Cane’s a couple miles out of range since everything else was closed. My wife loved the shower’s water pressure, and I ended up showering too after a terrible night’s sleep. The beds were extremely uncomfortable—sinking badly at the edges—and the pillows were way too firm. I woke up sore and stiff. My son showered as well, and we headed down for breakfast. It was okay, but the selection was limited, especially for a Fairfield. The staff were friendly and tried to help, but the poor shuttle experience, uncomfortable beds, and sketchy van made this an overnight stay I wouldn’t want to repeat.

Our smoke alarm kept going off in the middle of the night. Called the front desk and she blames a hot shower. My daughter didn’t even shower hot water. It was warm. She didn’t seem concern or caring that it was going off in the middle of the night and even not trying to help us. Inform me that she can get someone to come look at it but it will take a while for someone to come to our room in the middle of the night. The ac I. The room seems to not get cold. So glad it was only one night stay. Will not stay here again when we’re in town! The night shift service!

The hotel was nice to stay in. Only thing we didn't like in our room was that the ac did not go below 68 degrees on cool. Normally that would be to cold for us but room was warm and never actually got cold. We checked in later in the night or I believe they could have had someone check it out.

The location was good. Close to the airport. Very outdated decor. We were put in a room next to the storage room which was making that much noise it was impossible to sleep. They moved us to another room that was slightly better. Nothing left at the breakfast in the morning and the one staff refilling up was just on her phone the whole time. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The staff was very friendly. The place appeared to be clean but a little dated. I noticed as I was leaving there were small bugs moving near the part of the room where the carpet and the floor meet.

Perfect place to stay for an early morning DFW flight.

It took almost 2 hours to get picked up and get our rooms. The hotel only had one staff member (she was SUPER nice), so we had to wait almost an hour to get our room. Also, the shuttle took an hour to pick us up and get us to the hotel.

Cleaning staff entered our room before we had checked out. They even moved items around. This was VERY upsetting!! Cleaning staff should NOT enter a guests room until the guest has checked out at the front desk, and turned in their keys!!

The billing person ran my credit card too many times causing potential overdraft. I had the money and my bank fixed it, but what about the people who don’t. When I bought it to the morning manager’s attention, he was no sympathetic at all. The Pool was very clean!!

We got there at 10pm slept and left at 9am. You can hear the airplanes taking off but it's next to the airport. We were in a rush to leave for a flight. No fresh fruit or healthy take away breakfast.

The airport shuttle is the worst. Do not trust the driver to drop you off at the correct location at DFW as tge terminals are massive. I am disabled and had to take an Uber as the fir over insisted he was dropping me off at the correct location. I was a25 minute walk from the check in counter!!! There was no need of this -

The hotel was close to everything. Our flight was delayed until past midnight, but the hotel provided a quick shuttle ride when we called them. The staff was pleasant. The room was clean and quiet. Even though it was a big football weekend, we did not hear rowdy people in the hallway. The breakfast was convenient and satisfying.

Wasn't the worst by far but was disappointed for the price. Very musky smelling with the smallest bathroom I've ever had in a hotel. Beds were not that comfortable, blankets and sheets barely fit the bed, and the ac would not cool the room down so sleep was not good. Breakfast was just ok. No hot water after 10pm and did not restore until almost check out time.

It appears fine so far. Pretty standard hotel. Clean. Only thing I think can be clarified is that this Fairfield is known as Fairfield South as the shuttle at the Courtesy Vans area by the airport just says “Fairfield” on it so people may mistake it for the one they are going to.

Good breakfast, very nice rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. But the reason I comment here is to tell you the people who work here were excellent. We had to check in early and they were able to find us a room 3 hours prior to regular check-in. I really appreciated them going the extra mile. They were also able to tell us their experiences with local restaurants and experiences. The one ding in the armor here was the breakfast selection. They don't have a full spread but what they had was good. Eggs, sausage, toast, oatmeal, yogurts, fruit, juices and milk. Just missing pancakes/waffles!

Clean and friendly environment

Hotel and staff were fine. Only real issue was that we had to wait nearly 1.5 hours to be picked up at the airport by the hotel shuttle (called 4 times). None of the staff we talked to that night seemed to be overly disturbed by that... seemed to have a bit of an "oh well" attitude about it.

No issues, received an early check in and much appreciated late check out, great breakfast and pool was open and warm.

Staff was very friendly. The hotel is a super cold. All we had was hot water no cool water in sink or shower. When you walked out of the elevator the ac was blowing like a cat 2 Hurricane. Crazy.

-AC was horrible -Restroom space was such a tight squeeze -Kids said pool water was very hot. They were expecting a cool splash and got a sauna experience Other then that no other problems. Staff was kind so that was a plus

Liked that the free shuttle came to pick me up after midnight and the friendly shuttle driver. The accomodating front desk staff were nice. Room was clean, linens clean, light over sink and in bathroom can used to be updated. Couldn't figure out the tv, but thats ok, I was there overnight for some Zs. Disliked the music noise from a van in the parking lot and the crying and fussing children in the room next to me, ( obviously not hotel's fault, except that walls not soundproof and the parents couldn't stop their kids even after 1 am) ...but very thankful that the reception promptly arranged another upper floor end unit- quiet room for me, once I requested a change. I didn't make the breakfast, as it ended at 9 am and I opted for more sleep.

It’s conveniently located. Lots of shopping & restaurants close. Nice hotel. Didn’t eat breakfast or go to the pool. There was a basket ball tournament so there were a lot of kids. Had to ask for extra towels and toilet paper three times before we actually received them. Would definitely stay again.

Property was very outdated and appeared unclean. There was a terrible smell in the room due to an unclean refrigerator in the room. The pool was outside, not heated and backed up to the fast food restaurant parking lot. The continental breakfast was oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage and toast. It was unimpressive and I was expecting more. Overall exeperience was not good. I was thankful we only had a one night stay at this property. I will not stay here again.

Hotel was very clean, check in was fast and easy. Pillows and bedding soft and comfy. They had good toiletry products in bathroom. Room was excellent price, cheap. Overall great stay.

Front desk was nice at check in. Shuttle service to the airport at 4 am was set up...shuttle to the airport every 30 minutes 24 hours a day was why we stayed. Room was nice and slept well for the short time at hotel. Will stay again!

The hotel is old and the room was small, smelly, and uncomfortable. It smelled like old fast food and cigarettes. The beds were uncomfortable, and the bathroom was really cramped. The walls and doors are so thin and poorly insulated that you can hear every little noise around your room, and other guests were in and out all hours of the night talking super loud in the halls. The staff was friendly though, and the common areas were clean. I wouldn't stay here again.

For the price, I will stay somewhere else that has space..it would be good for a single person but traveling with a family of 4 was cramped and that’s because we got the “suite”, which is just not what it should be called. Will never stay here again.

Nice clean rooms both times I’ve been here. Always had a room available for what I was wanting. Nice staff. It’s nice how it’s near restaurants because you can just walk over to the restaurant.
