Check in was supposed to be at 3:00 PM, but a room wasn’t ready for me to check into until 11:40 PM.

The rooms were clean, beds are comfy and the shower pressure was good! Love that parking is only $5 per day!

The hotel is always nice whenever I stay here. My children and I usually come for a little getaway. The pool is really nice and, although it is operated by a different company, hotel guests are still able to swim for free. We also enjoyed using the basketball court and dining at the hotel restaurant, which is always good

Super clean and rooms have been recently remodeled. Much better than a downtown hotel at 3x the price. Drive was pretty easy from downtown Chicago and nearby shopping was great. Would stay again if you’re thinking about going do it!

We had an upgraded corner suite, the room was nice with lots of windows. Bathroom was clean and modern. The mattress was the worst thing I’ve ever slept on. Totally sunk in and lumpy. If it had not been for that I’d stay there again.

Property is clean. My room unfortunately didn’t look like it was cleaned prior to checking in, that’s okay. It was late by the time I had checked in and left very early morning. The bath tub wasn’t draining properly when taking a shower. It was filling up to my ankles and the ledge was still dirty to the bath tub. One of the pillows had a makeup stain on it.

We csme in late right before check-in ended and all the restaurants were closed. The front desk analyst was nice enough to make recommendations.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff provided excellent service and were very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The room was super clean, and the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep. The overall atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again!

As a senior, we would have been more comfortable getting in and out of the bath tub if grab bars were in the tub area. Not that we needed them, but we did not see a reference to the location of vending machines or ice on the room brochure or any signs about those services. There were quite a few events going on during our stay. My sister and I were amazed at how quickly you set up and cleaned before the next event. The table settings looked very elegant. There were also a number of families there for sporting events in the area. Although a little more supervision by adults in the parties would have been nice, overall the kids were very respectful and usually all was quiet by 11 PM. We also were able to enjoy the walks around the lakes. The hotel was recommended by family members who stay here regularly when hotel accommodations are needed. We enjoyed our stay.

The air did not work! The maintenance crew was very rude and not helpful at all. Overall I would not stay again at this property

The only reason I have...

The only reason I have anything negative to say is because the refrigerator in our room did not work.

Got little to no sleep while staying here. There is no soundproofing from the rooms to the hallways. On the 8th floor you can hear conversations in the lobby as if they were in your room. Housekeeping goes knocking on doors starting at 7am. Can hear them knocking from the 8th if they are down on the 3rd knocking. Children running and screaming around the hallways and balconies all day long. Dozens of pizza boxes and Busch lite cans on the floor overflowing the lobby trash cans.

Very nice up to date rooms ! Clean and our AC wasn’t working but they sent someone quick to fix it ! Will be back !

air conditioning was weak

I wanted to let you know that the TV in Room 1212 had a technical issue during my stay on 4/25/26]. There was sound/audio playing, but the screen remained completely black. I tried [restarting/unplugging] it, but the problem persisted.

The room is spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub is very nice. The only thing is that there was a wedding every night during our stay and we could not sleep because of the loud sound.

The only complain I have is 2 out of the 4 elevators were out. With how busy the hotel was during my stay, the wait for the elevator was horrible.

Location I booked a Suite for two nights Friday/Saturday so that I could decorate room on Friday. We had to switch Suites on Saturday due to plumbing issues. There was dirt that was coming up out of the bathroom sink. The Suites are outdated! The couch/carpet was stained. There was mold/mildew around the kitchen sink. I decorated the room however since we had to switch rooms some of my decor was ruined and the hotel manager offered a 20 percent off for one our two nights, which did not even equal up to the money we lost out on for decorations.

I gave the property 5 stars because of the spacious rooms, lovely decor, huge lap pool and jacuzzi. The pool area was clean, the pool staff was outstanding. The gals in the bistro were very friendly. The only downfall was the lack of enthusiasm from the gentleman at the front desk upon check in. It would have been great to get an overview of where everythjng was located since it was our first visit. Other than that, the overall stay was great!

Bed was a bit uncomfortable both mine and my partners backs hurt, and it was weird to have to pay for overnight parking on a hotel with such a large lot, never had to pay for parking before which felt a bit strange for such a level of hotel. Most likely will try a different hotel next time. Overall was pleasant enough.

Tired hotel full of rowdy business travellers in the sports bar. Staff were not that friendly. Not hot water in room. Air con unit rattled all night.

Check in was quick, room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was spacious. Only issue I had with is the steak I ordered from the restaurant was cooked well done when I asked for medium. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Additionally, upon entering our room, we noticed bandages placed over the smoke detectors, which strongly indicated that there had been previous smokers in the room. We notified the front desk immediately after discovering this, as it was concerning and should not have been overlooked prior to our arrival. The miscommunication continued on New Year’s Day when we were told the pool would close at 9:00 PM. Later, without any prior notice or disclosure, we were informed that the pool had actually closed at 5:00 PM. This inconsistency was frustrating and further added to the overall confusion during our stay.

Overall cleanliness

Pool was nice, hot tub was overcrowded most people didn't even have swim suits on, otherwise would have been nice. No towels available on shelves. Breakfast is not advertised as having to pay for it. When booking it says breakfast included, which is purposely tricky wording. Also there was no indication anywhere on the website or in the hotel that stated the pool area would be closed at 3pm on new years eve.

The rooms and beds were wonderful as always. The pool and hot tub were a nice added bonus and staff were very receptive when we requested clean towels and housekeeping brought stuff in a timely manner.

Staff was very accommodating and we were satisfied with our room. Very comfortable beds and the hot tub and pool area was a great way to unwind and relax after a day of walking through the city.

This was my second stay at this hotel. I love the cleanliness, spacious rooms, and attentive staff. The fact they have a bar & restaurant are a plus as well! My only complaint is that check in time is 3pm, my husband and I arrived at about 6:45 and we had to wait about an half hour for our room to be cleaned. We were offered drinks at the bar for our wait, we were tired and just wanted to relax. However despite that hiccup we do plan on returning for another stay.

Although the Westin was away from the city, we found the area of Elk Grove to be really nice with many places to eat and get coffee. It was a bit slower pace which we appreciate. It has a nice restaurant inside and a snack/coffee shop. The staff was very attentive if you needed anything.

The bathroom wooden frame for the counter is made of untreated/unfinished cheap wood. It warping because of all the moisture. The room was very big and spacious but the bathroom was teeny-weeny - if someone’s swings the door in, it will hit anyone brushing their teeth or sitting in the toilet. The safe vault did NOT work period. The shower water took a full 10 mins to get hot. We attended a wedding event Saturday. There weren’t even appropriate signs for Saturday wedding event. The signage was better for the Sunday event, The bagels for breakfast had some yellow powdery residue on it on both the days. I’ve never seen bagels with powdery residue or anything non-bagel-y on it anywhere. My first thought was - is this mold by any chance ? For breakfast they had an oddball $10 room charge printed on the check. What am I to make of it ? The waiter explained that it doesn’t apply to me. Then why print it to confuse me !?! For the brand name, property, facilities and Whats on offer needs to be flawless.

It was a business event and the staff was great and accommodating.

I came the day of Prom Celebration and a Wedding event. The check-in was like finding Waldo because there was o er 500+ ppl in the lobby. I got to my room late evening and I thought I would rest early because I had a early event to attend. Around 10pm music started and it had a lot of bass. Ear plugs didn’t help because you can feel the bass from the speakers. I called CS and the advised the ear plugs and asked if I wanted to switch room. I said that’s inconvenient and why would music start so late at night. It last til the early morning and I was upset. So ask if there is and parties or events before you get a room, and if you do make it’s away from the party room because it sounds like a Club or Bar.

Was a nice hotel. Only complaint was it was an open core building. We were on the 10th floor so heat rises and it was super hot on our floor. Which made our room on the warm side even when I turned down the thermostat. If you are staying in the summer there, ask for the lowest floor possible. But other than that all the workers were great and it was fairly close to O’Hare airport.

The property and rooms were nice. The noise is hard to control (open atrium with most of not all of the rooms facing into it), but the property was nice. They rather have you book on their website to get more "exclusive" perks, but because we booked on Expedia, they were less inclined to give us any extra.

Great place to stay. Have been traveling a lot in the past couple months and this hotel made me feel like I was at home. Only issue was air conditioning was a little weak but other than that I would definitely stay again

Great place to stay, the pool and jacuzzi was nice. I love the starbucks inside the hotel. Itasca train station is five minutes away to take you to Chicago union station, that was nice. The only thing was you have to pay for wifi, but other than that it was great.

Parking was easy but the events held there were very loud and lasted very late into the night.

Check in was great, staff was professional. I did ask for a rollaway bed since the website said those are free upon request but was told the room I had would not allow it but didn’t get option to change rooms. Also at night the air conditioning turned off we woke up hot in the middle of the night and not able to turn on it completely shuts off and not able to turn on again finally in the morning I was able to so I feel this is controlled which is not ok we were hot. The hotel is nice but if you want a restful night probably not the place we had people so loud around us outside until like 2am then again a T )am little kids running and screaming outside our door

I arrived with a family of 5 for a weekend stay . While my mom and son were checking in their front desk person was very informative about the property (restaurant hours,gym hours ,do you need more than one key,what the property has to offer ,what’s close by ) etc however my front desk representative Bryan simply Che led me and asked was there anything else he could help me with 😳. I said yes ,I would like to know where things are located and what the hours are as well …like give me an introduction spill not just check me in and say thank you. Brian needs to work on his customer service skills…nice guy but just there to do the job is what it gave me . The hotel itself was fantastic all the way around . Nice ,very clean and spacious. The gym is open 24 hours which is a plus. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again for sure

Beautiful layout inside and the surroundings outside are really nice. Restaurant and bar inside was very convenient. I didn't like having to use the hey card to get to my room floor. When multiple people got on to go to different floors the elevator got confused and at one point we were stuck for a min before the door opened which was pretty scary. The rooms are clean and nice but the toilet was a bit too low. Overall it was a good stay and I'd stay again.

The air conditioner didn't work on 2 of the nights which made it very difficult to sleep. The hot water went out mid-shower one of the days. They didn't clean my room one of the days and I had to ask for them to do so and bring new towels. Also had issues with Hotels.com when I needed to cancel one of my reservations.

Only bad thing was the location from the airport is different than what is actually on the site but everything else was spot on and amazing

Very nice.

My room AC was set to the lowest temperature and I was still sweating. The shower would not drain and I would have to shower in a pool of water. Housekeeping was super nice tho. The restaurants are overpriced for their offerings.

This is such a nice property with bigger rooms! Really like the walk path behind is awesome! Like the quiet area but not far from malls and restaurants! Will definitely be back! Amber and Marty are awesome too!

Property overall good, hotel is a nice property for what you pay. My only concern was the AC , did not work well. This is one of the knock outs that I always review when. Did not cool enough

This is still one of my favorite properties. However, the phones need a serious upgrade and we had a non working remote for almost 2and a half hours. Everything else is good and awesome customer as always

Perfect stay after a long golf vacation. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Conveniently located in near the airport.
