Pool could have been warmer breakfast was good- full hot breakfast (just very busy and tight space but food is good variety) Room size was great for our family of 5 (2 are big teenage boys)

My room was dirty. They gave me an room and it was dirty also. After waiting about 45 min I finally got into my 3rd room and it was cleaner.

The staff downstairs was very nice and helpful; however, we had to ask for towels, and our rooms were not cleaned automatically. We had to ask for them to be cleaned and restocked with towels. One of the elevators wasn't working. The other elevator had not been inspected in over five years. The breakfast didn't have the best flavor. The eggs were bland, and it wasn't really that satisfying of a breakfast. The floor of the elevator was also sticky and dirty. You could hear everything in the hallway.

Easy access for transportation and great rooms!

Spacious room, comfortable bed. Guy at check-in was overworked supposedly, obviously underpaid and didn't give a thing about customer service. AC in room is super noisy and hotel itself is very loud. You hear every door, every bathroom activity above and below you. Water pressure in shower is virtually non existent.

Parking was ok, no charge for that.

A friend and I stated for a full week and we appreciated the hospitality of everyone at the front desk - breakfast was well prepared and rooms were kept tidy!

Breakfast was only "adequate" as expected when it's "free." Room & linens were clean - but there WERE a few ants in the bathroom at the end of our stay. Bed was more comfortable than in some comparable hotels. Parking was fine. In-room coffee was only OK. A microwave in the room would have been a nice touch.

I am sooo dissapointed in the Hyatt PLACES! I travel alot and have stayed at Hyatt places many times, but they are going downhill. I would consider them almost dirty. Not 100% dirty but 80% dirty. They need a deep cleaning. Just like the Itasca Hyatt Place. I'm staying someplace else next time...and get the elevator fixed. I was there 4 days, and nobody was even looking to fix it!

This hotel is located in a flight path. From 10pm to 3am, planes are flying direct above it. This leaves little to no sleep. Only 2 elevators for a 6 floor hotel and 1 was out of service & apparently has been for over a month. The breakfast buffet was horrible. The elevator wasn’t cleaned for 2 days. Until I mentioned it and it was not cleaned throughout. Lazy guy said he wasn’t finished yet walked out without completing. The beds are very uncomfortable & pillows were flat and hard. Not a good night sleep and ended up eating breakfast elsewhere. Also, a bar with no bartender and you had to ask someone at the front desk to get you a drink. Which was out of cranberry juice, pineapple juice and didn’t carry common spirits. I won’t be coming back. I expected more from a Hyatt!!

Maintenance of rooms inconsistent! No microwaves in room, but refrigerators which some had a freezer some do not! Poor shower head in one room, not in other. Several other small things understandable by themselves, but added up.

This place is very clean, wonderful breakfast, and located in a wonderful spot!

The pool was absolutely disgusting, there was a hair salon in the lobby. When you first came in, the breakfast line was crazy. There were so many people there cutting a line and feeling like or at a concert. The staff, however, were great. The rooms were clean.

The staff were great! The rooms felt dirty due to stains on couches and insects. I had ants and small black flies on my phone and side table when I woke up. It wasn’t a large amount of ants, but it’s not what you want when you’re paying to sleep somewhere. I also never brought any food in the room. Got in late and left in the morning. The bed was comfy.

For over a decade, this hotel was a favorite for stays in the Chicago area. It's convenient to the airport, as well as shopping areas in Schaumburg. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. However, the rooms (particularly the carpets) are showing a lot of wear. My feeling is that it's about time for renovations.

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with great amenities. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt relaxing and luxurious. We also enjoyed the quality of the food, the cleanliness of the common areas, and the excellent customer service throughout our stay. The location was convenient and made it easy to explore the surrounding area. Whether traveling for business or family vacation, Hyatt provided a perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable stay. Hopefully this review helps other travelers plan their trip better — we would definitely love to stay here again in the future.

Bad: Was able to check in early as a room was available and ready (1:00 ) yet still had to pay a fee for early check in , I know it's not just hyatt that does this but it's still absurd , if the room is ready , why charge the consumer anything ? We were given our room keys and upon opening the door to our room we stumbled on other people and their stuff laying in the room. Very embarrassing, the front desk didn't really seem to be apologetic or seem to care which is also off-putting given the circumstances . The rooms and hotel itself need a major facelift. Good : Free breakfast buffet , anytime the word free is offered it usually is good , case and point here . Free parking is also nice as well . Overall its an ok peoperty.

I'd like to have access to a toaster in the room, no microwave. when I asked the staff to warm up my pizza in the breakfast area, I was told no. It's a bummer when simple units aren't provided (like a water kettle to warm water, toaster or mini conventional oven to warm up left overs will be a great addition). this could be provided individually per room, or provided at the breakfast area for everyone to use as complimentary use.

No response. No mercy. No refund. I made a big mistake in scheduling two weeks after I meant to schedule, and showed up at the Hotel - - it was revealed by the pleasant clerk that the reservation was mistakenly made two weeks in advance. I have tried to communicate with the Hotel to explain this mistake. On the actual reservation date, I obviously no-showed because I was in Kearney NB on a road trip. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY AT A HYATT.

The staff here are very good! They listen and they act! Had some trouble on my first night being beside the elevator and an exhaust that is open. Brought this to their attention and was given a new room! Food was the usual breakfast and was good! Parking is free as compared with other hotels where they charge. We had gotten to the room after a long day and were in our pjs winding down in bed, my sister grabbed one of the pillows from the bed which was untouched by us before this time. The pillow had crusty stains on it as if it had not been cleaned at all from the previous stay. It was late so we didn’t want to go to th desk at that moment and so we threw it on the floor and used the extra pillow in the closet. When we reported this to them the next day they asked why we didn’t report it when we found it and brushed it off, which was not how I believe that should have been handled.

The staff were welcoming and fulfilled additional requests such as green tea and coffee cream late at night. The break fast was good with with abundant choices.

Overall we had a good time. Pictures definitely made it seem more glamorous. Our bedding had holes in it and breakfast was less than desirable but as a family we had a good time

My family (mom, dad and 3 kids under 9) and I really enjoyed our 3 night stay. The room was clean and fresh, the beds were comfortable, breakfast was great. Although there were many guests, the room was quiet. The pool is a good size and even though it was a little crowded on the first day, the rest of the days we practically had it to ourselves. Will also mention it was well heated and plenty of towels. The only thing I'll say is runners might be a good idea since the floor was wet from people going to the restroom which you do have to walk down the hallway to. The hotel restaurant and bar was good and convenient. There are two restaurants right in front of the hotel as well. Parking was not bad despite there being a lot of guests. The fire alarm did go off while we were there due to someone smoking in the room and it was sad to see guests that were in the pool (small kids) have to get out and into the cold due to others irresponsible behavior. Please don't be those guests, the alarms WILL GO OFF. Other than that, our stay was enjoyable and comfortable and plan on staying there again.

The breakfast was wonderful! The best continental breakfast we’ve ever had. The parking was easy and accessible and the staff was great. I wish the pool heater would have been working so the pool wouldn’t have been so frigid, but all in all it was a very good experience and very fairly priced.

Pool was closed for most of our stay and when it was open, the water was so cold, we only made it 10 mins. The blinds in the room didn't cover the whole window, and only blacked out half the window.

The pool was FREEZING COLD and was not heated. We spent only 30 min in the pool. Other than that it was a nice stay for an overnight get out of the house night. Breakfast is free from 6:30-9 Mon thru Fri. There is a Buona Beef and a Mexican restaurant within the same area and can walk to it.

The room was great but we had a problem with a party all night above our room. The hotel was unable to resolve even though my first complaint was at 11:00 pm. This incredibly loud party, which kept us from sleeping, went on until I left in the morning. I won’t stay here again.

Friendly staff and well priced room. Parking and breakfast are included The setup for the breakfast is just bizarre. For some reason the plates and bowls are on the second shelf which is above your head and also above the breakfast items. So you have to stand in the breakfast line in order to get your plate to then go get breakfast. Also the silverware is on the opposite side of where the plates are. Generally speaking the breakfast area was set up a little weird and crowded. There is a conference room of some sort right off of where you eat breakfast and there was a very loud group that had the door open and was playing music at 8:30 on a Saturday morning. The music was loud enough that we had to speak very loudly and lean into each other to be able to hear. There's no reason that the hotel staff didn't have them close the door. All in all I would stay here again. But this is just a very bizarre thing and should be very simple to fix and really shouldn't have ever been set up the way it is in the first place

It was a nice stay with easy check in. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Sadly the ice maker directly across from our room was not working so we had to go up two floors to get ice. When I went to tell the front desk about the ice maker, staff were huddled at the front desk having a good time. It is.good to see staff enjoying each other, I just wish I would have been acknowledged instead of me having to squeeze into the conversation some how. It could have just been bad timing.

Everything about my stay was great until at about 6:30 am when a power outage set the fire alarm off, causing a fair amount of panic until it was determined that there was no fire. For the rest of the morning the power was off and on causing various beeps from tv’s, wifi routers, and a/c’s rebooting, hence no ability to fall back asleep, wasn’t able to sleep, shower, have coffee in the morning, etc. The place was clean, staff was friendly…everything was good except for the lack of sleep, ability to shower, etc. I think Hyatt should do the right thing and offer a few night or something along those lines. But they probably won’t.

It was such a wonderful experience. The breakfast was above and beyond what we expected. All the staff was very attentive to every detail pool towel housing keeping was so nice and detailed. Maintenence man was very amicable. All the staff made our stay that much better. We will refer the hotel to all and off course use the hotel for future travel.

The place was great very easy to find great accommodations. The room was clean and everyone was very helpful except for one person in the breakfast area. She was very rude.

Very nice place. They had the bed type that we requested, tv and the phone worked. Much better than the Hyatt Place located in Hoffman Estates. I would recommend this place.

The “security door” was broken so no keycard was needed it just opened. Bed was super firm- like solid. You get what you pay for, it was cheap. We just needed a place to sleep so we took it, but not likely to stay again. Staff were perfectly nice for check in/out.

After having attended a family funeral that morning, we were hoping to check in early before attending a wedding that afternoon. When we asked the hotel staff if that was possible, they were extremely helpful in making that happen. The staff and accommodations were wonderful!

Expedia transferred me from here to the Doubletree in Wood Dale. Unrequested. Raised my rate to stay there and kept my 1 Key Cash. Promised me breakfast and the Doubletree knew nothing about it when I asked.

Pillows are just clouds, so you may want to bring your own pillows, when staying here, honestly. Free breakfast was good, with some variety and options for most everyone.

The layout of the room was not great. The door to the bathroom was difficult to get closed in the tight space. The breakfast was minimal compared to other hotels. And, it was six floors and one of the two elevators was broken down, making it difficult to get downstairs with luggage. The hotel staff was friendly but not knowledgeable about the area or transportation into Chicago. And, they were only friendly when not on their phones. We will not stay there again.

Tv remote was missing and they couldn’t help me in any way

The staff here were amazing. The staff made our stay very easy. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. I would recommend a stay here if youre planning a trip. The area is nice and I felt safe in the parking lot even at night. Just be aware it is about an hour drive into downtown due to traffic.

The stay is good. Nice rooms with nice water pressure in the shower. You need to stay on top of the staff for maid service. They asked me on check in if I wanted daily maid service and I said yes..after the first day I came back to my room still not made up. I had to call the next morning to ensure maid service. This is my second time staying here in the last 4 months. They include breakfast but honestly it’s ok if you like microwaved eggs. I honestly don’t eat the breakfast. The fruit is not fresh, the eggs are gross. Honestly I just hit the McDonald’s up the street. Some guests don’t respect quiet time and I after 11pm I’ll hear people talking in the hallway..it’s usually foreigners and they go in and out of their rooms slamming the doors. I had to actually peek out and tell them to stop being so loud and respect the quiet time that is posted in the hallways. The rooms are nice though.

This was actually my first time in Illinois. I was there for an event, the only thing was the if it was a Chicago and I didn’t realize how far away I had to drive to go to the event however the hotel itself was absolutely amazing!!! Had a beautiful room, I wish I would’ve been able to spend even more time in it, but because of the event it kept me pretty busy. However, for the time that I was there, I really really enjoyed the room. it was spacious, exceptionally, clean, it was an updated room. Unlike some of the previous hotels I’ve visited and other places, I will definitely give this hotel a 10 out of 10. And if by chance I ever come back to Chicago, I would definitely, definitely return to this hotel.

The hotel was great. Free parking, great breakfast options, clean room, the pool was good, too.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was excellent, and there are 2 restaurants within a few hundred feet of the hotel. We used the fitness center and the pool and everyone was happy. It is an easy drive from there to the airport and convention center so it's a great alternative to the expensive hotels in that area.

Second, when we got to the room, the carpet was dirty, we found a spider on the pillow, and the shower gel was empty. I asked the front desk if I could have room service and specifically mentioned the shower gel. However, when housekeeping came, they only changed the bed sheets, picked up the trash bag, and replaced the towels. The carpet was still dirty, there was still no shower gel, and they didn’t even pick up the empty water bottles from the floor. They also didn’t add toilet tissues. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would never come back to this facility.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was big and spacious that had a sofa bed, mini fridge, bar sink, and office desk area. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Lots of space at the bathroom vanity area. Room has a safety box which came in handy. Hot breakfast was great. There was plenty to choose from - waffles, eggs, oatmeal, cereal, fruits, bagels/ bread, juices, coffee/ tea. We appreciate the staff refilling food items when needed.

All of the staff was wonderful. I even extended my stay by a few days. The pool is warm large and clean, everything is spotless, the breakfast options are plenty, parking is always available. Also the food just at the other side of the parking lot Was delicious and opened relatively late.

The food was trash. The only thing edible was the sausage and waffles. Eggs were liquid n watered down. Not even real eggs. The skim milk was even watered down. There is no order for breakfast just flocks of people (many of which dont speak English). Groups of people just reaching over food and grabbing it. No line whatsoever. The hallways are extremely hot. The room was for the most part spacious and clean all but the couple of baby ants crawling on my cover. The shower was great and so was the pool. I probably wont stay here again due to the guests, but the workers were very welclming

Can be a lot more cleaner at common area, elevator. Breakfast time was chaotic and not enough plate and utensils.

First of all they gave away our room that was already paid for. Then they tried to compensate us for that mess by saying they’re giving us Hyatt reward points and then never gave use the reward points on our account. It is very unprofessional and very disappointed.

The breakfast was no so good

Work out room equipment not working. Horrible breakfast eggs cold and no variety also should have fresh coffees a least till 10 pm. Light in shower area should be brighter could not see also fan rattled loudly when light was on. We've been staying there for at least 5 years when we come in from Tennessee but not anymore will be looking for a new hotel.

Second stay. We loved the size of the room for our big family. Location was in a quiet area but close enough to restaurants and shopping. Heater on pool needs work.

Not enough toilet paper, lights were to dimmed in the room and the swimming pool area was too hot need of ac for air circulation. Staff were nice. Pet friendly were excellent .

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the room service attendant was extremely helpful. The only negative was the elevator seemed to be in need of repair. But other than that, the hotel is good condition and well maintained.

Quiet location, Pinky at the reception desk was supernice and friendly.

The breakfast is good but get very busy with limited seating; the pool was closed due to remodel and rooms are small.

We stayed two nights. Both nights were very loud between people in the hallway and airplanes flying over. All staff were very nice though!

The only thing bad is they don't have ice machines on every floor which is so stupid. You cant tell me Hyatt cant afford to put an ice machine on each floor!

It was close to the airport and hotel was reasonably priced.
