Checking in with Amanda is amazing. We've stayed here 20+ nights over the last 4 years and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The room was barely clean. The bed was horrible. King Room.. Stain on curtains. Pillows were terrible.. Front desk. Customer service.

There was not a lightbulb in the desk lamp. I had planned on sitting in the chair and reading. By the time I discovered this, I was already in my night gown, so I did not call down to maintenance. Breakfast was a dissapointment. The cereal was stale.

The staff were the best and made you feel welcomed. This in itself would help us to decide to return. The rooms were decently cleaned. The breakfast area needs help though, we were in just as breakfast weas starting, so the floors should have been cleaned. Also overheard the cook ask if anyone needed anything from a family that came in while I was preparing my plate, but then stated everything was out there as far as food anyway and if anyone wanted the gravy, they need to get wha was there because she has to clean and sanitize it, mind you it was still early. The taste of the sausage and gravy was subpar. (Not sure if her statement indicated it was older?) . So, all in all, the cleanliness was our biggest concern.

Every staff member we encountered was very nice, smiled and was very helpful! Breakfast was good, but the eating area was very small. The room was clean, but it smelled soured and like it had been wet for a long time before we stayed. The side entrance we went to get to room #119 was filthy.

Good beds. Cleanliness was not the best. Hair in shower on walls, in corners of the bathroom, we could see through to the outside between the wall and our wall heating/air conditioning unit. It worked, but if I could stay in a place that was cleaner, I would have.

Would recommend this property...

It was my first time staying at this property. Though the property itself looked a littlt dated I have no complaints. The breakfast was above average, more than toast and cereal many others offer. It consist of eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy and more. But I can't finish this review without bragging on Amanda. If somebody from corporate reads this, Amanda deserves a raise and a bonus for going above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. In a time when most places have trouble with people even showing up for work a jewel like Amanda is a breath of fresh air.

The room was clean. The staff was friendly. The cost was appropriate. However; one complaint is there is no pool. The website lists a pool but it has been filled and now has an area for outdoor smoking and playing loud music outaide your window.

It’s definitely time for a remodel. It is obvious that the amenities and rooms are aged. There was also a smell of mildew around the a/c unit.

The staff were great and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. Room was clean and comfortable. We stayed multiple nights and could have used a bit more variety with the breakfast. We needed the handicap space due to my elderly parents but the spots were take several times by vehicles that obviously didn’t need the spot and were not handicapped.

This is a good affordable option if you need a comfortable bed and breakfast in Jackson. The staff was very nice. Customer Service was outstanding Well all is well , I just kind wish that the buffet had at least one gluten free item for people with celiac disease or gluten issues. That is something I noticed , would be great if your breakfast buffet had a gluten free bread or waffle mix gluten free non enriched

The attendant was nice, bed was comfy, bathrooms were stained in a lot of places. It was an okay stay for the price.

Property was extremely overpriced for an older, basic room. Light did not work, door had gaps you could see into hallway, no towel bars/hangers in bathroom, shower was in need of updating.

When i check in the clerk said I didn't have a reservation. And I was charged on my credit card.

Breakfast was good. First morning I did eggs, biscuit and sausage.. The next was Cheerios. My final morning I did a waffle. Wish I could get different style of eggs. I am not a huge fan of scrambled or maybe pancakes.

Room was large and nice Toilet stool needs a lid.

Property was clean and in good repair. I could tell they were keeping up with repairs as needed, unlike other chains I’ve been to.

We didn't stay for breakfast, but in past stays breakfast was very nice. Upon arrival, we waited at least 15 mins for someone to come to the desk. They were very pleasant, and efficient. And the cookies were great. The upkeep on the room was on the poor side. Under the bed hadn't been cleaned in some time. The lamp between the beds didn't work, inspection showed it was unpluged, and cables just curled up on the stand. I have stayed here before. And always was tops, this trip. They missed the boat.

Eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy were good, but they were having trouble with our machine and water machine. The lady that makes it was very nice and apologetic.

There needs to some updates. The lighting in the room was not good. The sink had a slow drain.

I was staying when it was snow on the ground and staff was so kind. When come to Tennessee I will always come to this hotel.

DIRTY!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE. Room was filthy. Unfortunately, they were sold out for the night. The front desk, lady Amanda, who is absolutely the nicest person tried to make it right and put us in another room which was equally filthy and the chargers and the light did not work. So we ended up going back to our first room and she came up and cleaned the bathroom for a half an hour which should tell you how dirty it was. I called the manager on Monday to get some sort of refund and all they could do was offer me 25% off. He was very unaccommodating and couldn’t wait to get me off the phone. I would never recommend this property. Dirty bathrooms. Absolutely filthy vents in bathrooms and vents in breakfast area. Needs a lot of updating. Very disappointing.

Staff were extremely courteous. Bathroom appeared to be under construction - poor caulking, toilet not secure to floor, floor dirty. Breakfast was mediocre - sausage tasted freezer-burned, very limited choices.

This was our second stay at this hotel. Our first stay was fabulous. This time, the room was way less clean. Visibly dirty upholstery on the chair, floors were dirty, ceiling was stained. Our room was also next to a stairwell. The handle on the door to the stairs was not functioning properly, so the door did not close, and instead a piece of the knob stopped it and made a loud slamming noise at all hours of the night. The pillows were also HORRIBLE.

Hotel was not clean and a worker unlocked our room door and tried to come in the room.

Cleaning could have been better….housekeeping could do a better job at cleaning. I needed extra towels and they told me they were all out!! That’s unacceptable, but thankfully I was only there for 1 night stay.

The toilet had feces up the back and only a small bit of toilet paper left on the roll with no backup toilet paper.

The bathroom was not clean when we came. It smelled like urine and there was yellow staining all around the toilet floor. Every time we turned on the shower it caused the smell to get worse. The other spaces in the hotel were dingy and not well kept.

Mostly very comfortable and clean. Couple things. Ice machine not working on our floor. Parking was very crowded area.

We booked our room last minute when we had a sudden change of plans. It was very clean, very comfortable, and very quiet.

Was clean for our stay! Only thing i recommend is the air to be on when coming to stay because the air was off in the room, it was hot, sheets felt sticky to the skin due to humidty built up. Otherwise, it was a good stay. Breakfast lady was amazing and can tell she truly cares about her job.

This is a nice place to stop for the night. The room was OK but the bathroom was not quite clean. There was a ring in the toilet and some hair in the sink. The breakfast was OK but the coffee is not good. We picked up coffee at a McDonalds after we checked out.

Our one night stay was great. The room appeared to have been recently renovated. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. We visit Jackson often for meetings and Country Inns and Suites will definitely be our go to hotel.

The area was dirty and moldy, and the room had sour, mildew/smell to it. I did not enjoy my stay. I was very disappointed. If I had a chance to go back and do it again, I would not. Please save your money and go somewhere else that you will you would enjoy. There was mold in the bathtub and around the ceiling area. I was told that they were sold out and couldn’t offer me another room.

The Front Desk Attendant that checked us in was so friendly and outgoing. She is the true definition of top notch Customer Service. If I can recall correctly, her name is Amanda. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was pretty good and the breakfast area was clean. We were very pleased with our stay.

Whatever you do, don't book a nonrefundable room here. My work trip got rescheduled just minutes after I booked. I went through the process requesting a refund (I started the process less than 15 minutes after I booked) but they refused my refund and took $125 for, well, nothing. There's plenty other places for me to stay in Jackson.

Breakfast was limited due to ordering issues. Room was okay but bathroom had mold along the outside into the bed room. Would stay here again compared to other places nearer. Just get the breakfast better and have a meat and something gluten free as a bread option. Bed was fine.

Amanda at the front desk was great!!!! The breakfast food was good and liked the many options. We had room 217 and for some reason we could hear the people talking that were in the outside smoking area. It was ok in that it did not happen when we were sleeping. Housekeeping staff was friendly and supplied us quickly with an extra blanket when we requested it. Our group had booked three rooms and we all agreed we would stay here again if we were in the area.

I honestly dread hotel stays most of the time but this one was the most pleasant I’ve had in ages! The staff were so kind! They told me I looked beautiful when I got dresses up to attend a wedding & they were even kind enough to have let me check in almost 2 hours early!

From point A to Z it was excellent except one thing. It wasn’t cool enough. I should have brought a fan. It could be just because it’s so hot outside. I recommend staying here, but it’s f you get warm easily bring your own fan. Kudos to the lady that checked us I . She recognized I was worn out. She gave us a large room with a late checkout. She was awesome!!!!

Hi I just wanted everyone to be aware there was hair in the shower and the sink drained slow and the curtain was cut. One last thing maybe it was me but it felt like the sheets where clean. Overall I would stay there again. Thank you for having us.

our room needed better lighting. The lamp behind the arm chair had two light bulbs, but did not put out hardly any light to read. Same with lamps by the head board of the bed.

Super sweet staff!

We have stayed here several times on our travels and won’t hesitate to book here again. The sweet lady at the reception desk was wonderful, helpful in giving us dinner suggestions, and very promptly responded to a need we had in our suite. We found our room clean and comfortable and quiet and enjoyed a good nights sleep. The breakfast room was clean and the food was enjoyable.

After checking in we found the refrigerator in the room was not working. Amanda the night manager was quick to help and get us a new refrigerator. Later the same night we realized the electrical plug by the bed was not working! Again Amanda helped by supplying an extension cord! After our second night we inquired about maid service and we were told that service was only available every third day!! The day manager said they would supply any fresh towels we needed. We have stayed several nights over the past five or six years and never have had this mediocre service. We are disappointed and not sure if we will be back.

For a typical highway exit motel this is a pretty good one. Greeted very enthusiastically at the desk. Like most comparables, it is surrounded by large parking lots. Restaurants only a short drive away.

Our room smelled so strong of pine-sol it was burning our eyes and throat. Even after a few hours it still was very strong. The lady at the front desk was amazing and tried her best to help us with this situation. We were not able to find a room that wasn't overwhelming with this cleaner so she helped us find a room at a different hotel and refunded us for our stay.
