When we arrived they could not find my reservation. We asked for non-smoking room, the room smelled like smoke. The floor was sticky. The toilet was wobbly. We had to walk all the way around the main building just to get ice. (Said that the back entrance was out of order.) No one came to change the trash the whole time we were there.

I didn't like any of it I only got to stay there one night out of all 4 nights. First off they gave me a no smoking room when I told them I wanted a smoking room.They wouldn't let me have any company what so ever nun of my family was aloud there they wouldn't let them come see us then told me I had to leave cause I wouldn't fallow any of the rules witchall that was blue shit And they didn't give me any of my money back at all on the room Everything

The location was right by our grandkids. Would have been nice to have a Jacuzzi or hot tub available.

It had roaches and knats bad .bathroom door broke. big hole in wall under sink .water would not get hot .I wouldn't recommend any1 to stay here

Literally disgusting it was bugs on the BED crawling before we even could sit down and they wouldn’t refund our money!!! Terrible place and they need the health department to shut them down they serve food from this building!!

So when we booked the hotel it was false advertising the pictures compared to what I actually walked into are two very things there were holes in the walls roaches on the bed the shower curtains have seem liked they have never been changed the inside of the bathroom was disgusting and when we went to front desk service it WAS HORRIBLE they were cussing us out because we wanted are refund and started getting really offensive when we asked for the owners number and due to the thick accent we asked again and said are we stupid or dumb I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO COME HERE and Expedia needs to take there advertisement down due to no hospitality,roaches,holes in the walls throw up on the ground , no lights work and when we called while we’re out they’d try to fix it to make them selves look good but that didn’t even due . Until they remodel and get it together I do not recommend no one come it’s outdated

My stay at Jacksonville inn is the place I wanna be they are very nice friendly and respectful it's very quiet and peaceful pace I wouldn't take my money anywhere else

When we first arrived it was myself and my 2 year old daughter, It took us 45 Minutes just to check in. I had prepaid online through Expedia, even had a reciept and everything. They wanted to tell me i had to still pay as they said i hadnt paid anything yet... finally got that situated... didnt get the chance to look at our room as i was in town for a vendor event and had to go set up due to check in taking so long to check in....finally returned a few hours later after dark. Went to take my baby girl inside before gathering everything as we were parked directly in front of our room on the level floor... as soon as i opened the door and turned on the lights, COCKROACHES scattered EVERYWHERE.... needless to say we got a new room that night which didnt have bugs but wasnt much cleaner... i wouldnt give my baby a bath there.. we found a new place the next night and Will NOT be returning here!!

There were flies all in the bathroom. 1 towel. No soap or conditioner. Hair dryer didnt work. Bed was awful. Pillows were awful.

Staff was friendly, road construction around them was inconvenient. vinyl flooring had a golf-ball sized melted spot right in the middle of the floor. Older ac units don’t seem to have a “fan on” setting to block some of the noise outside.

The room was filthy! They didn’t even take time to clean the bathroom! It was a waste of money and when I tried to get another room I was denied!

It was cheap... got less than we paid for. The lobby was closed. Had to register and check out thru a night time after hours window. The sheets were clean but old. Should have been retired long ago. It's a shame they have let this place get kn such bad shape.

The guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful. They’re are the only hotel I’ve been able to find that isn’t expensive and has smoking rooms.

The man was extremely rude and hard to deal with. The beds were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on.

The room was fine but it was non-smoking so I smoked out in front of room (outside) then there’s a fifty dollar deposit and I didn’t get refunded for it. There was an ashtray in room so I used it when I went outside to smoke & was accused of smoking in the room . I had decided to stay another night so I booked thru hotels.com & he told me I had to leave room at 11am & come back at three pm . I couldn’t believe it. I was having difficulty getting around and I had no where else to go so I continued to ask if I could just stay in this room that I payed for already ,by the time the conversation ended he told me to leave and that I couldn’t stay another night at all. I was already charged through PayPal & hotels.com

Won't be coming back

It's too bad that a value room these days is one that is below even a minimum of cleanliness and maintenance up keep. At least you can expect a comfortable bed for your money, not in a "value" room.

The staff were very nice and the coffee was excellent. The mattress was terrible, you could feel the individual coil springs thru it, there was no coffee pot in the room so you had to walk to the office to get coffee, there was no continental breakfast or donuts or anything. the bathroom was very small and the remote for the TV did not give any options as to what was going on or what shows were on or coming up. Also the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable

Horrible...the old cleaning lady with glasses is nosey and goes into people's rooms while they are gone, she is rude and so is the owner...the only good thing was the young lady that came around to clean the room and give me towels!!

Generally clean and comfortable. It was noisey due to the room being located near the steps and people traffic could be heard easily through the door.

3rd time staying here and i will be returning. convenient and all as projected

The entire room was disgusting. There were spider webs around the inside door, dead bugs on the floor, lamp shade was dirty, bed bug under one pillow, and dirt on the comforters! Told man at desk, after I waited over 7 minutes for him to realize I was at the desk because he was in office on personal call. I asked for a cleaner room, and told him exactly why, and all he said was, " you got here right at check in so it's expected " Really? A filthy room should have been my expectation?! He then said that he is sure it was cleaned though, and asked someone else if another room had been clean recently so I could just swap rooms, the second room smelled like marijuana, and there was hair on the "clean " towels and on the toilet seat! The bugs were still present as well on floor. I told some lady who worked there who happened to be standing on the stairs as I was walking to the office again, but when I said, "excuse me mama do you work her?" She then said, "no I just keep this feather duster on me at all times for fun!" One, I couldn't see that she had it in her hand. Also, I was raised that's the polite way to ask someone a question when your unsure if they work there or just hang out on stairs!!! I told guy at desk and wanted money back he said that's not possible according to poliy which I didn't sign and he said that I could dispute it with my bank but the hotel would fight against me with the bank

Our stay was Unbelievable. It started off with extra proof and credit cards needed to get room, even tho one was already on file. Withing 10 minutes I wanted a drink and vending machine wouldn't keep money to purchase anything. Finally found one around back through an unlit dark unsafe walkway. Then before we went to sleep we noticed that the room was infested with ants, mainly in the bathroom. My mother and my daughter got locked in there room the next day, yes I said locked in the room! Owner came and let them out and he did have it fixed when we returned to room. Also the room had a dead rodent smell to it that was really strong when you first walk back in. And on top of all of that the ant problem kept getting worse!

I love this Hotel....through my many trips to the south, I stay here about 5 to 6 times a year....But it is time for them to spend some money on towels.....they are so hard it feels like you are bathing with sand paper.....please bring your own towels if you're gonna stay here.....other than that.....this hotel is very relaxing.....

I was able to get a late check-in (2:00am), which is great since most hotels don't do it.

Actually had to pull of the road a few hours early to ride out a storm. Decent place to hunker down. Friendly staff, nice TV, good shower in the AM. Please understand that this is a basic inexpensive roadside motel. If you're looking for amenities, stay elsewhere.
