This location needs some TLC lots of updates needed. The surrounding area has lots of homeless people walking around and orchard not feel safe.

I was very appreciative that I was allowed to check in a bit early but the condition of the building and room was lacking. The main elevator closest to the lobby was out of order. We were instructed to park at the end of the building and enter through a side door which was close to a working elevator. The carpets throughout were very dated and dirty. As far as our room, there was a floor lamp close to a large full length mirror but it did not work. The shower was not used as it was not clean.. The toilet was running when I entered the room and did so after every use. Thankfully I know how to take care of that and with every use we took the lid off to untangle the chain. What a waste of water and money. While the location was convenient, wont be on my list to stay again.

Surrounding area is terrible. Building is fine I guess but not a nice hotel by any means.
- 4/5
rooms rather small would of preferred am sofa or extra chair in place of two tables not needed, one table with lamp and coffee pot had no power, had to take the coffee pot and plug into the bathroom socket. breakfast I felt was good, the one lady I should of got her name was very helpful the times we came down for breakfast.Parking was great. Never worried about the cleaning of the room we were in and out, overall everything was good
- 3/5
Check in was terrible. The woman at the front desk was not helpful at all and was more interested in her phone than helping people. I asked her which entrance would be better to park at for getting to my room and she just kept telling me my room was upstairs. When I came inside with my family after check in, I noticed the elevator was down closest to the main entrance. I asked the woman at the front desk if there was another elevator and at first she said no. Then she said she told me earlier that the elevator at the end of the hall was the only working one. I told her she did not because she wasn't helpful at all when I came in before and went to my room.
- 4/5
The doors are too close to the toilet in bathroom.
- 5/5
Area is kind of crappy but hotel is nice. Left my wallet and checkbook in the room, staff brought to desk and they called me right away
- 5/5
Nice
- 2/5
It was decent until I discovered a cockroach on the bed. The front staff was apologetic and management gave me a $30 discount, so at least they tried to make up for it.
- 4/5
The cleanliness of the room was mediocre at best, there were used a-tips and hair in the bathroom floor and well as the linens on the space bed did not look as if they had been washed but just remade.

Friendly staff hot breakfast.clean room

Weird the one Monday I go, there aren’t any? I don’t even think this location has cribs it’s so run down. Pictures are deceiving. Front desk was barely helpful. Didn’t offer a receipt, asked me if she wanted my card on file charged, I said I wanted another card charged, she charged the one on file anyways? Didn’t give any information on breakfast. Definitely do not recommend.

This is my fourth time having a bad experience with this hotel. I stayed because it’s close to family, once we found a used condominium, the power blew on one side of the room, they changed my room, only to get in the room next door and nothing worked but at that point I was tired.
- 3/5
A/C in room didn't work, the bathroom was not very clean. Lighting outside could be better.
- 1/5
I traveled from Michigan to attend a wedding and when i went to check in there was no electricity and no backup generators. We had to book another hotel to get changed and rushed to wedding. Stff didn't even update us about this earlier so we could figure out something in advance
- 1/5
Property was dirty, food on the foor while looking at our room. One of the elevators was not working so we had to walk to the end of the hall, get on the other elevator, go up then walk all the way back. Also the property decided to down grade our room from 1 king to 2 beds without telling us. Then when we went back to the front desk they wouldn't issue a refund. After i talked to expedia they agreed to give us less than half our money back.

Only half of lights work in room, no AC, dirty

Clock in room not set to proper time and had to figure out how to set the time. Tried to get as much sleep as possible before checkout and received a knock at the door at 7AM. Then received a call on the room phone from the front desk saying they didn't have my room reserved for anyone. I needed sleep and didn't get much.
- 3/5
Stayed here a few times before and never had any issues until this stay. TV kept cutting off and the tub was dirty. On a good note the actual room was clean and bed was comfy. Got in my room super late so I wasn’t able to get ahold of front desk but I did inform clerk at check out.
- 1/5
Bathroom had broken toilet the wall had holes in it in the bathroom
- 3/5
The pool was closed. Expedia's site said it was closed during winter, but we visited in mid-June. The pool was covered by a tarp. Clearly the pool had not been open for a long, long time. That's unacceptable when traveling with two young children and specifically chose a hotel with a pool for entertainment purposes.
- 4/5
Quick overnight with our dog. Charged for the dog($65) extra - but front desk staff kindly offered us a first floor room - which made it so much easier with our dog. We also had a late bite at the bar- and it was solid. Very close to I-80- appreciated the convenient location. Older property but clean.
- 2/5
We stayed for a week and never got our trash bags exchanged no new linen unless asked for we read the rules with said every third night we would have new linen changed but that never happened and when we did we where only able to get the sheet not everything cleaned
- 4/5
Clean room. Front desk female manager a little rude upon check in. More concerned with fixing an error than greeting guests.

This Hotel Was Clean & Staff Were Very Nuce

Clean Hotel, nice rooms and large parking lot.

Felt a little sketchy when we arrived. Wound up moving our car to the front. Would of felt better if they had outside cameras maybe. Interior was not bad, had some nice remodeled sections. Bed was really comfortable, but our toilet seemed to run all night. I did tell the front desk about it before we left.

It was very comfortable and relaxing. It was more than happy with the service and the huge comfy bed
- 4/5
The staff was very nice. It was a short stay, with a 9 pm check-in and checked out by 7:00 am. The room door had no chain. It appeared to have been removed. The peep hole on the door was gone and filled with caulk. Just made me a little uneasy bc it was just a mom and her 13 yr old daughter staying in the room. There were some stains on the sheets of one bed….not like fresh stains, but stains that did not come out in wash. You could tell all the bed linens were worn, sheets were a little dingy. Nothing was horrible, just made the room feel less clean. Not that we stared at the door, it just looked like it may have been broken into at one point prior to our stay. The breakfast was great and well supplied. Checkout was simple and quick.

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, the hallways were dirty but room was clean, people loud outside my window fighting all night. Won't stay again.

Always stay here when my truck is being serviced at our terminal and shop right down the road. Doing it for 4 years now. Always good!
- 2/5
I felt the staff at the front desk was helpful and friendly. It was a quick and easy check in. The staff in the breakfast area was wonderful. She was cheerful and had the area super clean and well stocked. Tables were also cleaned. The rest of the hotel was not in good shape. It was quite dirty and worn out. It definitely had an odor throughout the building. The elevator had not need checked in 4 years and was filthy dirty. There were multiple spill of something all over the floor and floor buttons were sticky. The elevator made a terrible metal rubbing on metal noise when the door was shutting. You could not use the stair because the sign said only for fire emergencies. The room had no light on the switch. Therefore you walked into a very dark room trying to find a switch or lamp. It didn’t seem as if the carpets were washed anytime in the last decade. The shower looked clean but my guess is no one uses it. People probably just want to get the heck out. The toilet did flush which was a major plus but there was no fan at all. The toilet was mounted on a stone block of sorts. Around the toilet was completely yellow. I assume it was years a urine but told myself it must be glue. The towels appeared clean and the soap was new. My daughter would not get into bed and only slept a couple of hours on top of the made bed. My youngest and I did venture under the covers. They didn’t smell fresh but didn’t have any untoward spots or stains. Major plus. The hotel was super noisy. Not so

Dog barking in room next to us at 8am Dirty in hallyway Not safe Was stalked in buffet area for breakfast Breakfast is small! Workers or other men sitting eating all the breakfast food Not worth 69-89 a night- more like sleezy motel rates Loud cleaning truck infront of hotel at 9am...waking everyone. Bed and pillows horrible Did not sleep at all!!!

No housekeeping service been there 7 days mice dropping in room

Our room was not cleaned. We were moved to another room but it was not a king room like we reserved. It smelled like moth balls. We found 1 decent restaurant in the area but it was not walking distance. Not planning to stay in this area or stay at Clarion again.
- 4/5
It was a dirty towel in the room that we was first assigned, but the frontier just quickly took care of it and sign us to a new room
- 5/5
Our stay was very pleasant and I’d highly recommend this hotel. Greeted at the front desk and checkin went smoothly. Room was very clean and spacious. Good water pressure and drainage. Comfortable bed too. We went to their bar, The Whiskey River. Great selection and Cherie, the bartender was great! We had a great time drinking and we only had French Fries and they were hot and crispy. We stayed here to attend a concert at the Rialto Theater. We Urbered to and from the concert . The free breakfast offered many different items and it was hot, well supplied, and very clean. Keep up the good work!!!
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Has a bar/ restaurant only open from like 4 to 9 maybe later if busy. Rooms clean and updated recently. Breakfast was decent. Had several choices to choose from. Would stay if was in the area again.

I stayed for one night in Joliet. The room was fine initially. It was cold outside and the room felt warm so I was happy to climb into bed after a long day driving. Throughout the night I started feeling warm and kicked off the covers. At around 5 am I was so uncomfortable I thought I’d turn on the a/c to cool it down a little. The wall thermostat showed it at 89 degrees. I tried to adjust the window unit but panel showed “FP” and it was off, but it was continuously blowing hot air into the room. I tried changing every control but it was stuck blowing hot air. I called the front desk to report it, and they did offer to move me, but I was going to be checking out at 7:30 so there was no point in moving me. I was hoping they would either refund my room or issue credit for a future stay. They denied me a refund because I purchased the room through Expedia, and said they would have a manager call me about getting credit. They made note for the manager who would come in later. They assured me a manager would call me. No manager ever called me that day or any other day. I had the most uncomfortable night. The room was 93 degrees when I checked out. When I was leaving I found my car had been tampered with and someone attempted to steal my windshield cover, leaving it pulled up but attached at the doors. I took video of the situation in the room and will post it online if they don’t contact me to make this right. I want to give them a chance to give me a better experience first.
- 3/5
The hotel was right off the freeway so it was pretty noisy. There was a used condom on the ground right by the main entrance to the lobby. Yellow stains on the floor around the toilet. The breakfast attendant "scolded" me and my sister because I went to the front desk to get a clean fork for my sister. The plasticware was in cups with the spoons and fork tines facing up, so everyone was touching all the plasticware when they would get their plasticware, which is very unsanitary. I didn't see the breakfast attendant, so I asked the lady at the front desk for individually wrapped plasticware, which she provided. We sat down to eat our breakfast and the breakfast attendant walked up to us and started telling us, "next time tell me what you need, I speak English", and continued scolding us for going to the front desk when she was not around. This lasted at least 5 minutes. She would not leave us alone. We just started ignoring her. She was very unprofessional. I would never stay here again.
- 3/5
Overall, the staff was very kind and nice! The only grievance I had during my stay was that it seems like the bedding was dirty and looked like it might’ve needed another wash, and the room has an oddly humid smell. Despite this, the rest of the accommodations were satisfactory, and the amenities provided were convenient. The check-in process was smooth, and the location was ideal for my needs. If the cleanliness of the bedding and the room’s air quality were improved, it would have made for a much more comfortable stay. Hopefully, this is just a one-time oversight, as everything else about the hotel was pleasant.
- 4/5
Hotel is dated, but clean and good linens. Individual heater blew cold air every time it turned on, but eventually warmed up . Never got hot water, just lukewarm, in sink. To be fair it was -1 Fahrenheit. Good but standard breakfast buffet. Well stocked. Great Value. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
My room had no heat. Facility is very dated.
- 3/5
This is an older facility that has been updated with newer decor. The rooms themselves are very good and modern and include a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, basic TV. Bathroom have also been updated. Upon arrival I thought I booked a room of a condemned hotel because EVERYTHING was dark. It turned out the entire block was without power. I think the staff was a little overwhelmed by it. Check in was fine and power was back on within 30 minutes. My towel had several holes, the newly updated electronic lock still had shims attached to it and the shower curtain hang too high. Other than that, for the price, this was a good hotel to stay at

The hotel didnt look too nice from the outside or in the hallway. Front desk service was quick and friendly. Our room was clean and decent. Bathroom was nice and clean but very small. Area looked questionable but the hotel was very quiet and we didnt have any problems.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and helpful and property is secure and several good updates
- 3/5
Only had 1 elevator working and the air conditioner was very loud. Lady at front desk was very friendly.
- 2/5
Eagerness Of the staff to please in a basic situation scoring great. But the rooms especially the bathroom in so tiny and poorly painted tub and shower cracking and lots hair left in the bathroom bought a housekeeper came and did come clean that room in the floor and I chipped her. She was doing well, but I couldn’t even see inside the tub at that point in time just the same things have been clean, but it was actually the third room we had attempted to stay in two others were at another motel and we left because of the same reasons starting to and I felt that your tub might be safe even though it looks horrible and lots of dirt in the corners but it ended up being at least 6 inches of water while I’m trying to shower and feeling like the tub is really not that clean to begin with and standing water? My husband won’t shower it took so long to drain out and we were afraid of the germs and I clean some of the poop off the wall because it was so nasty to have to look at that and it was so obvious and then realize later there was some of the other places up under the wall cabinet area that had poop. I don’t know how long it had actually been there, but I can’t imagine that somebody wouldn’t have complained about the amount of poop on the shower curtain? I’m just so frustrated that things were not how they seemed when when we first came in the door and then the elevator was broke, and I am handicap with COPD And unable to walk distances.
- 5/5
Close to the highway. Quiet at night. Good breakfast in the morning. Worked for a nice place to sleep while traveling. The room was clean, the hallways looked pretty good, but the elevator was dirty and the parking lot was a mess. We looked for a trash can by the door, but none in sight. That might help with the parking lot mess.
- 5/5
Excellent Staff
- 3/5
Place is in desperate need of a remodel, aging property! Shower was terrible
- 4/5
Plenty of room for parking. Plenty of of places to eat. Not to walking friendly. Elevator was pretty small. Room, service, and amenities were helpful.
- 1/5
The entire hotel was muggy walking through the hallways, the bathroom in the room the toilet was filthy dirty and looked like there was urine and dirt all around the base
- 1/5
The breakfast was terrible. The lady serving breakfast was rude and told us to go to the front desk if we weren’t satisfied. There was no orange juice, the pancake machine was not working and there was no coffee. What a morning to start a vacation day.

This hotel has nice rooms. Except you’ll fine problems hidden in them. From broken tile to leftover nails from the previous guest. They also only have housekeeping visit 1-2 times a week. I was there for a week and only got visited once. It’s a mix of good and bad for this hotel.
- 1/5
No AC throughout the building. AC worked in the second rooms. Not as advertised and will be looking for additional avenues to book rooms after this experience.
