    Nothing It was awful the air conditioner did not work they tried to blame us saying we had it on the heat and we did not they were very rude about and when we asked for another room they said they did not have one!! They claimed their maintenance and the woman at the desk checked the room and the air conditioner and they did not! Will never stay there again!!

    The absolute worst location I have stayed at in my whole life. Cigarette burns on the bed (8 different ones) and on the back of the toilet. When asking management about it they told me, “ oh well, take it up with Expedia…you booked with them!” I immediately left and booked with another hotel!

    I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction regarding the stay at Red Roof Joliet from May 2nd to May 3rd, 2026. As discussed with the lobby staff both last night and during check-out this morning, we encountered unacceptable and unsanitary conditions in two of our booked rooms (210 and 217). ​Specifically, we documented the following issues: ​Room 210: The carpet was extremely dirty, with what appeared to be vomit stains. Furthermore, the bathroom walls were covered in mold, and there were visible spots of blood in the bathtub. ​Room 217: Both beds had plastic mattress covers that were heavily infested with mold. The overall cleanliness of the room was also far below acceptable standards. ​These conditions were completely inappropriate for guest accommodation and have seriously compromised our professional reputation with our clients.

    Para empezar, yo reserve una habitación con cama king para mi y mi esposa y cuando llegamos hacer el check in y subimos a la habitación era de 2 camas separadas. Cuando fui a reclamar al lobby la persona me dijo que no habia mas habitaciones y para colmo yo habia pagado hasta un seguro de $15 para asegurar que mi habitación no la cogeria mas nadie. No tuvimos mas remedio que coger la habitación ya que teniamos que coger un vuelo el dia que hacíamos el check out. En la habitación olia a humedad las camas eran viejas que hasta sonaban los ganchos por debajo no haboa jabon para el baño asi qie tuvimos que salir a comprarlo los conectores eléctricos son ta viejos qué nada de lo que conectabamos se

    As I’ve been checked in since Saturday, I cannot connect to WiFi even though signs everywhere states they have WiFi. The incompetent front desk agent with the terrible acne has no solutions. She’s just shakes her head and collects her minimum wage check. Asking for the bare minimum of your stay is hard here. I should check out and dispute charges due to false advertisement . Can’t stay 28 days with no internet. They won’t pay for all the overages in my data on my phone. I can’t even connect to my laptop. Disgusting

    This time there were no rooms on first floor with a king bed as i had reserved and requested. So we accepted a room with 2 beds. The mattresses felt like a box spring with a one inch foam pad on top. We bought a 3 inch twin size foam pad for the wife to help her back. Then after 3 days we list several channels on the TV. Some of our favorite channels were not available. I reported it but nothing was corrected.

    When I got to the room it was damp and hot. The A/C wasn’t working properly, the sheets felt damp and the rug between the A/C and bed was wet. I had to wait for my party to arrive and then we went to ask for another room or refund and was refused both. We ended up having to go somewhere else to stay and pay again. The girl at the front desk was rude and said we waited too long to ask for refund. I want to be refunded for this stay as we were unable to stay there and she said she couldn’t refund me

    Wrong key given, clerk behind window was emotionless and uncaring, dated room wreaked of marijuana, man in car next to mine was publicly smoking a meth pipe right in view of my children. We left immediately and rented a room at a neighboring hotel, causing the loss of money to recruit and loss of sleep that we only had a few hours left of anyway.

    They advertise flatscreen tvs and coffee neither were available. The door didnt close properly and the toilet seat was broken i asked them to fix it. They never did. I also reserved a king room with pay at property option. They canceled my 3 day reservation saying they couldnt do that because theyd lose revenue, Then offer me a 2 bed queen. They apologized again and the told me they had to call the police because that guy shouldn’t have been in the room. The office was nice.     Are large group of us were in town for hot rod power tour. The rooms look nothing like rhe pictures...much smaller. My room smelled of smoke pretty bad, while others were complaining that their rooms smelled so bad of pinesol and had to leave their doors open, while they sat in the parking lot and let them air out. I don't know what's worse.. Smoke or pinesol. In our room, paint was peeling, furni was held together with tissues and dead bed bugs on floor. Saw one live one in the bathroom and killed it. Many of the tenants appear to be living here weekly or monthly... Strong smell of "smoke" outside many rooms. Everything combined just made for a restless night of sleep. Kept feeling like things were crawling on me...

    I was denied my room because I didn't arrive before 4pm. The event was attending did not end until 5pm. Even though I called days in advance to CONFIRM my reservation! I will never ever try to stay at a Red Roof Inn nor will I ever use Expedia for my reservations. I had to drive almost 200 miles to find a room even though I was assured my room was CONFIRMED just days before. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE?!?

    Honestly, we didn't even bother to check in. This is an old-style motel; two stories with external walkways to get to each room. The place is a mess and there were some strange people wandering around the property. Your basic no-tell motel or flop house. We ended up driving closer to our next destination and found a nicer hotel there. If this is all you can barely afford, then maybe it works. Otherwise spend a bit more and stay away

    We was traveling with others. We got there first. Checked in and lady was rude about them charging my card that AM. I was gonna pay a different way. So i asked the lady why do u have pay at hotel if you guys run the card that is on file without even asking. Yes i have my debit card on there. But was gonna pay with my credit card to get my points. Lady was very rude about it. Said well thats what we do. So after my other travelers got to the place. We asked to move to a room closer to them so we could hange out and just be closer. The lady again was very rude to us. But the manager who talked to our other person was nice. Said she was new and that we could infact change rooms. We went to eat since I was upset over the lady being rude to us since we had got there. Went to talk to them again about changing the room. And again the lady was rude about it. Said we couldnt. And the manager had just left... room its self was ok. Does need a good cleaning. And the beds were not very good.

    Somebody was playing around with a fire hydrant and yelling fire when there was no fire and fire hydrant exploded next to my room. Caused a lot of mess and chemicals were inhaled. Multiple guests came out since it was a loud explosion. Random people just posted on property. Other than that, stay was good

    There were too many people walking outside I was on the second floor so I could here them walking and the guy on the next room was outside playing music on his phone around 3 am I couldn't sleep I even got up and open the door to see who it was and I ended up smoking a cigarette with this guy Mike was his name lol. May be he realized that I got up for a reason he went inside his room and no more music

    The maid use too bleach when they were in cleaning up yesterday. All day and night, i smell like strong bleach. I am highly sensitive to it that I have Fibromyalia that I have had a terrible migraine and dizzy. Everything else was good. Sorry foe complaining.

    I booked an accessible King room for my husband and I, but when we got there, the lady at the front desk put us in a room with 2 smaller beds instead. I brought it to her attention, and she said the King room i booked was already taken. I asked for a refund but did not get one even though we left and didnt spend the night there.

    I'm a double amputee in a wheelchair and there's nothing close I can wheel to.The waffle house next to Red Roof doesn't even deliver and it's a hassle to wheel there.Plus,the biggest complaint is the room I stayed in.When I called the motel,I told them I was disabled,I wasn't told they had Handicapped rooms,they put me in a room,where the bathroom door frame was only 20" wide,my wheelchair is almost 29" wide.Red Roof in needs to make MORE handicapped rooms on the first floor for people who are disabled like me.I wasn't told at all and you'd think when I said I was disabled,the main office would've told me about the handicapped rooms.Sorry,but I will NEVER stay in a Red Roof Motel ever again and I will tell ALL my friends know to avoid your Motel Chain like the Plague.
