The ac for our room was extremely loud and disruptive to our sleep when kicking on and running.

U can't think of anything that even met expectations when we got to the "hotel" which was really a motel. The room had a bad odor upon arrival to the room. The front desk clerk was impossible to understand and when we decided to stay at a different hotel he got almost hostile.

We liked how close it was to the boardwalk. The door lock was held on by a piece of wood and it did not seal so light and bugs were coming in. The bathtub was stained and did not look clean. The wall plugs and toilet paper holder were falling out of the walls. I picked this place cause it had decent reviews and found it all lacking. Property definitely reflects the cheap price. Dude at the front desk was rude and they had their children working the desk too. I won't be back.

Room wasn't cleaned properly, dirty sheets and towels, beds are very uncomfortable and they only give you 2 pillows on a king bed.

Room smelled like skunk weed!!!!! Rooms and doors need seriously paint done. The floors looked like they never been swept or mopped!

Location to Kemah Boardwalk was good. Good color scheme on outside of hotel. Had to stand outside to check in, no access to lobby making it unsafe to check in. I Below standard hotel due to stained curtains, outdated linens and in room paint scheme, hard bed, rust stained tub, cheap feel to room, location of stairs for second floor in relation to room location and only one location of room ice machine, trash around property. Made it difficult for disabled people to navigate to rooms on second floor.

It was in a good location. Easy access to all the attractions in the area. Could use some touch ups in the room. The paint was scratched off in areas and the door jam needed replacing. Also the counter and floors needed to be cleaned there was hair on the counter and some dirt on the floor. The comforter had burn holes in a non smoking room

Nothing— it was disgusting. It was filthy and rusted and stained with things that no one wants to think about. There were dead bugs, an obvious semen stain on the sofa, the beer from the previous resident still in the mini fridge, a rusted ironing board open against the dirty countertop and a bathtub that you would be dirtier getting out of than you were getting in. Could not post all of the pictures I took. Was assured that Booking.com would take care of it and later told that there would be no refund.

My room was clean and everything worked as it should be. The staff was excellent and even though it was right next to the interstate, it was relatively very quiet and yes, I will stay there again. It was right next to the interstate, but it wasn’t a real big deal

This was the worse hotel motel I have stayed in. They changed our room 3 times. The TV didn't work in none of the rooms. The first room had hair in the bed. The second one had Tv issues with a dirty tube. The third one had used towels in the shower with long hair on the floor.

I like it because it was close to the boardwalk I have to change from three different times first one was dirty. Second room AC didn’t work and third time the tv wasn’t working.

Clean room. Soap and shampoo provided. Pet friendly laminate flooring. Laundry on site but bring your own quarters. Tight entrance to the property: take it slow.

The room wasn’t as expected the shower would not change enough pressure to use the shower head. The tub looked like it was cracked but the plastic was coming apart. There was no soap or complementary shampoo in the restroom. The towels looked like they where just placed on top not even in a presentable manner. The room floor look like it had food stains that have been there for a while. The mirrors in the room had dots from something that was splashed. The AC temp read out didn’t work so you couldn’t see the temp settings. The usb charger outlets didn’t work on one side. When it came time to check out there was no one at the counter.

Great location close to boardwalk and shopping. Great value for the stay. Pet friendly!

The room has enough space and was enough for 1night stay. The water in the shower was lukewarm, and barely got hot. The ventilation fan in the restroom was hanging from the bathroom ceiling. The room also had an ironing board with no iron.

The restroom didn’t have a handle. The remote would not change the channel or anything else. They did accommodate and change us rooms but that room only had hot water to shower. So experience was not great but customer service was excellent!

The staff were courteous, check-in was a snap however the room we had left a lot to be desired. A/C plug outlet was sticking out from the wall about 2 inches. The toilet paper holder was also sticking out from the wall and wedged with toilet paper. There was a large tare in the batheoom door. Other than that the room was ok for 1 night.

Pictures i saw must have had filters because the room look totally different than what i thought i was getting. Hotel rooms very run down, rusted and falling apart. No maintenence man.. my husband works for The Best Western Inspections, fyi... so this was no good for them, sadly. The pick was last minute, or we would have went elsewhere.

Good clean, quiet accommodations.

Our stay was Friday-Tuesday and the only service we received was towels @ 10am the morning after arriving at 830pm. It was dirty the faucet still had splattered toothpaste from pervious guest. The toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. The coffee pot was dirty and dusty. The air conditioning only worked sporadically. Had to bang on it to get it to come on. We did not have the "Do not disturb" sign on the door and still no one showed up for any service at all. Our entire stay there was no garbage taken out no toilet paper replaced no dirty towels picked up and no more clean ones dropped off. There was a fire alarm with a low battery in one of the rooms close so it beeped a high pitched beep every 30 seconds the entire stay. The noise from the freeway was ridiculously loud. I did not complain, which was my fault but I don't plan on ever staying there again. Spend the extra few bucks and stay at a different hotel.

It was ok for the location and price. Bed was comfortable. Only negative was that we found a roach floating in a cup we had left on the nightstand. I would stay there again, though.

My wife and I have stayed here several times while visiting her family in the area. it's not a 5 star hotel but it's not supposed to be. it's clean, the staff are friendly- a good comfy room for the night.

Horrible location with only one way in or out. If you miss the drive you just added 10 mins to your drive. AC was broken and room was warm all night and all day.

Very trashy. Found a dead roach in the refrigerator

It was a great place to see if your going to the boardwalk..staff was helpful. Was kinda iffy at first but turned out great..

I couldn't stay my two nights because the room was infested with roaches! I told the guy at the front desk and he offered me another room! If one room has roaches, then they all do! All he said was no refunds so i left. He didn't seem to care about the roaches as if this is normal. It was so bad. Dead roaches on the floor and roaches crawling out of the furniture! It was terrifying to see that. How disgusting?

Rooms where clean and nice and staff was friendly would definitely choose this place again. Thanks

Came for a visit during July and when we got to the room it was hot and until about 3am or so it finally cooled down. Other than that it was ok

Can someone provide me a number so I can directly and speak to someone. I have a list of complaints.

The AC was completely off when we first arrived in our room. I understand saving some money but Texas in June and being on the top floor they should've had it on at least to 75 degrees or so. We went out to dinner and when we got back it was still fairly warm in the room. Not happy.

This was a one day trip so we only needed a room to spend the night after visiting Kemah Boardwalk! Hotel Amenities were as described but the only complaint is that door lock and toilet seat need to be replaced.

Shower not

The AC barely worked, room phone didn't work, bathtub didn't drain and filled up when showering and didn't completely shift from faucet to shower.

My only complaint is the Internet did not work properely and severely impacted my work in a negative manner. I had to go to a restauraunt with free wifi to work. This was unacceptable as internet is part of the package for the Hotel reservation.

It was convenient but frightening and had no hot water in the room. Cigarette hole in the comforter.

The bathroom tub wasn’t that clean and that sofa was dirty and stained. Look like bedbug infestation.

My husband and I stayed here one night on our way home after a vacation in Texas to visit family. It was worth the stay and is a fairly convenient location, but the front staff wasn't the friendliest. He seemed a bit too aloof to provide any customer service beyond checking us in. We also only had three pillows on a king size bed, which is almost always an issue where ever we stay. It was worth the money though.

Expedia confirmed our visit, but the hotel had no record of our reservation. They offered new rooms but at double the price that I booked on Expedia. We were given 20 minutes to make a decision. He said it is now 30 minutes and we have been holding these rooms for you. I need a decision. I was on the phone with Expedia trying to figure out the mess. We walked out.

Check in was great. Good customer service. The room conditions were not the best. Outlets were falling out of the wall, floors were dingy, one bed was not comfortable, could feel the mattress springs, and towels were dingy. The noise all night of people coming and going was annoying. We didn't sleep much. We will not stay here again.

Basic but clean. Room was large. Bed was comfortable. Nice walk through good neighborhood to get to Boardwalk area. Only thing bad was road noise.

The door to our hotel didn’t close all the way so we could hear everything that was going on outside but other than that everything was great for our one night stay .

Only complaint is the room reaked of cigarette smoke

I called for a late check-in and all the numbers online routed elsewhere. After four tries, I finally got the front desk, where he said checking in late didn't mean I could check out late.Kind of rude. I wasn't asking to check out late. I couldn't hear him well through their super-thick glass at the night window and it seemed to irritate him. It was only 10pm so he could have opened the door if it was a burden, but he did not. I asked for the wifi code and it was like I'd asked him to donate a kidney. I was with my 80-year-old father and asked if we could get a first-floor room because dragging bags up the stairs is hard. He got upset and told me I get what I get. The room was clean when we arrived, except for the hair stuck to the bathroom wall and the weather stripping falling off the door. When we returned the next day, the room had not been cleaned or restocked and the key didn't work. When I asked about the key, another employee was kind of rude again and asked when I was leaving. I booked for three nights. We left again the next day and when we returned, again the key did not work. I went to ask about the key and they asked again when I was leaving and blamed the key on me. Again, the room wasn't cleaned or restocked. I went back to see if I could get some coffee for the machine and they were annoyed for me asking. Overall, it seemed like they really didn't want us to be there and wanted us to leave. I'd try another hotel.

The room was absolutely disgusting and filthy. Black pubic hairs and unknown debris or scattered among the clean sheets. Bodily fluid stains we're on the pillows and the mattress. No hot water until almost 1:00 a.m. in the morning. Room was clearly in a state of remodeling and there should have been a discount for a property that was under reconstruction. All of the incidents were reported to management and those employees seemed fairly unconcerned. The soiled bedding was given to the night manager who informed me that no housekeeping services were available and the door was locked. I assured him that he had better get a key and provide me with clean linens which I had to install myself. It was a two night stay and at no time did housekeeping service the room or clean the room. Two bath size towels for only provided in the bathroom area. I cannot stress enough that you should not under any circumstances book this property. I took multiple photographs which this review is not allowing me to upload. Additionally there was no post to telephone number to contact management. I'm requesting a full refund.

Rooms were clean with microwave and mini fridge. Great price. Decent pillows. My only complaint is the beds are sooo hard, felt like I was sleeping on the floor. Ok for a single night, but couldn't do it for a long time.

Fantastic place to stay after a full day partying in Kemah. Hotel is excellent value. Rooms show a bit of wear and tear. Otherwise, room very clean, very comfortable bed, no roaches, and lots of space.

My wife and I have stayed here several times over the last few years when visiting family in this area. Staff is always friendly, rooms always clean. and it's fairly quiet.

It’s was okay!

The front office was very nice and helpful. Checking in was a breeze and we were happy with our stay.

The room are dirty. The toilet did not work in 1 of the rooms. No breakfast in the morning just juice and did not open that area for public until after 10am. They did not seem to concerned about our unhappiness.

The place was dirty and old smelling. The towels and bedding was far from being white. It also doubles as a live-in hotel. I would not choose this hotel again.

The TV didn't work. They came in while i was away the first day and emptied the trash and took the used towels but never left me fresh towels.

Had cigarette burns in the bed sheets and the door had some issues with gaps and sunlight coming through, what look like claw marks from a dog on the door

Clean spacious and affordable

Desk clerk did not give out Wi-Fi information, we had a dirty towels, there was a towel there that was crispy and smelled bad. The handle on sink faucet kept coming off. Gaps around door allowing bugs and air to come in. Even though it was nonsmoking there were burns on the bedding from smoking. Despite being next to the police station there were so many sketchy people in and out and stinking up the place with drugs. Front desk clerk acted as though it was an inconvenience to tend to you. Tv was set to store mode and not home. So every few minutes your show would be interrupted by a blasting sound and video of the tv brand and its features. Cleaners looked like they were on heavy drugs while cleaning.

The pillows were paper thin, the ice machine outside the door was super loud and woke us up all nite long. The room was nice but the furniture was very run down. I expected a little better fir the 150 dollar price per night. I dont plan on staying there again.

Do NOT stay here. Shady place. Nobody smiles in this hotel.. they are after money and that's it. I couldn't understand what the Receptionist was saying. Hotel is dirty. My cable wasn't working and took the owner 3 hours to come to my room , looked behind the TV and said: now it's working. Guess what? He left and the cable wasn't working. I had to call my cousin who told me what to do step by step. No breakfast!!!!!! I told the owner I was leaving because of the hurricane Beryl and they charge me for the day I was gone. After the hurricane they Price Gouging from $ 65 to $ 135. Not a good member of the society. Bunch of greed people. I wish I could give zero stars.

Nice stay for 4 of July close to every thing

Good location to Kemah Boardwalk. We stayed for the 4th of July. We loves that we were able to walk to the Boardwalk and not have to “fight” traffic and parking.

Bed was super super hard was so uncomfortable it made it hard to sleep and you woke up sore if you slept at all, Cigarette Burn holes in the blankets, the room was so hot it took it 24 hours too cool off and the air didn't blow very hard at all. Dead bugs in the bathroom. Can hear a lot of the road noises they didn't offer any kind of breakfast and the machine they had for juice was unplugged. Do NOT recommend staying here if you can help it

The room was very clean, quiet, landscaping was beautiful. The staff was great and friendly. Will definitely stay again. Walking distance to the boardwalk.

I booked this room a few minutes before we checked in. The girl at the desk was very accommodating and helpful and I realize none of this was her fault. We checked in around 5pm and the room was ridiculously hot because they leave the a/c off. HELLO we live in TEXAS where it is hotter than heck!!! We turned the a/c on when we got there, sweated our butts off while we got ready to go to dinner and expected it to be cool when we returned. It was not even a smidgeon cooler when we got back to the room almost 5 hours later. This is just absurd to me that you would not at least run the a/c at 75-80 degrees at all times in order to not have some astronomical bill when people go from 100 to 70 degrees. Makes NO sense. I will NEVER stay here again!

Room was decent, we had a good stay for one night. The room served its purpose. Girls night out and we felt safe and comfortable.

Person checking us in was trying to prive gauge us for a smoking room. It was crazy. We had alsready booked online and paid in advance and he wanted us to oay for a smoking room over 102.00 that's outrageous the last time we stayed here they were very understanding and courteous it was not the same person as before.we will not be returning here

It was okay

The room was spacious and very clean. Well stocked. A couple minutes drive to the Boardwalk area. Only drawback was traffic noise but that is unavoidable. I will definitely be back with hubby and our dog.

I feel this property is over charging customers, my ac was broken, the refrigerator leaked on the floor since the time we walked in, no lock on doors, everything was rusty, coffee machine has so much dust on it nobody would touch it, walls are paper thin, the property was clean and staff was nice, but we wouldn't stay again

Affordable and very close to the boardwalk.

The first room issued to me when I opened the door I was greeted by a barking dog and the loud odor of nicotine. I was given a 2nd room where the loud odor of nicotine greeted me again. There was a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom. The floors were filthy. I was then issued a 3rd room. The floors and the bathroom were clean. The sheets were stained and there was hair under the sheets.
