During this most recent stay—one of many—I was greeted by a new front desk clerk who made an immediate impression. She was exceptionally sweet, kind, authentic, and genuinely welcoming. Her warm demeanor made check-in effortless and set the tone for another wonderful stay. The Heathman consistently delivers a level of hospitality that is becoming increasingly rare. Whether I’m visiting for business or pleasure, I always know I’ll be treated with care and professionalism. It’s the reason this remains my go-to hotel whenever I’m in the Seattle area. Highly recommended!

We loved everything about the property, especially the comfortable room. The hotel it is located in a wonderful neighborhood and very walkable.

We were not notified on check in that we needed to request that our room be serviced after the first night of our two night stay. Disappointing. Fireplace in the lobby was wonderful!

I've rarely had a better hotel experience than my time at The Heatman. The staff was superb: friendly, welcoming and competent. The location is ideal, quiet and within easy reach of shops and services. I look forward to my next stay at this top hotel.

But room had sound issues - paper thin walls; flimsy bathroom doors (lack of privacy), extra loud A/C. Add to that the person experiencing a mental health challenge yelling loudly at 7:00am (on a weekend) in the alley outback. Had trouble checking-in due to cars stacking up out front awaiting valet. And a "private event" in the Bar that first evening - Isn't there a room for that? And somebody on staff wears way too much perfume. Probably one and done.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Always acknowledged us coming and going. We ate several meals here- food was delicious. Beautiful hotel, roomy rooms that have everything your need. Must request cleaning, but they were always on it when you did. This is our new place when coming to Kirkland!

If you are staying in Kirkland or a nearby area this is the only hotel you should book. The customer service is unparalleled. I had a minor issue with the air conditioner in my room and both the front desk staff and maintenance went above and beyond to remedy the situation. I never expected them to go so far for my comfort (new room and portable A/C). The rooms are beautiful as is the entire property. My reservation included complementary valet which made parking a breeze. The Heath has delicious food and it was so pleasant sitting outside eating. If I could give 10 stars I would.

The best hospitality and customer service. Not many on site amenities (no hot tub, pool, etc) besides fitness area. They do have bikes for guests. The rooms are high quality resort style rooms with soaking tubs, spacious room and bathroom. Quality bedding. Walkable area with nearby park, restaurants and grocery. What it lacks in views or on site activities/amenities it makes up for in walkability and hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing in room experience with amazing customer service. City of Kirkland is quiet and beautiful. 9.6/10

We left early daily and did not partake in any on-site amenities. We love this hotel, especially the cafe across the street - a MUST try! The property is safe with lots to do around it. This is our second time visiting and will absolutely come again!

Excellent service, nice hotel. Courtney C., at the reception, went above and beyond, speaking to her manager, and then reaching out to Hotels.com to get a refund for me because I had to check out one day early. I checked out in the afternoon, so most hotels would charge you a full night's price anyways especially if it was already paid through a third party. And she followed up with a nice personal email later. (Let's see if Hotels.com comes through, they've been terrible before).

Staff was excellent all around the property. The restaurant breakfast was tasty and the property has a great location in Kirkland. We will be back to visit our extended family.

The staff were so nice! The hotel is beautiful and clean. Good food and great service at the Hearth. The noises from the neighboring shower and from the heating system were a bit intrusive but over all a very nice stay.

THE HEATHMAN HOTEL is a boutique style hotel tucked away in the small town of Kirkland, just across Lake Washington. I've stayed in it twice already and would recommend it to anyone. It is a dog-friendly hotel in a town that loves its dogs. The town itself is extremely walkable, friendly and quiet at night. The hotel rooms, even the basic ones, are well appointed. Mine had a huge soaking tub that I could easily fit my 6-foot frame into. The large, 4-K TV is LG but you can run your personal apps via scanning the QR code. The only drawbacks are, while there is a refrigerator in the rooms, there is no microwave or ice bucket. You have to call down or go get ice yourself. Also, you'd be wise to bring your own type-c charger adapter with you. They have kindly thought of including an iron and ironing board in the closet, right next to these terribly comfortable robes. As far as the hotel bar, its not half bad. They have a brick over to make pizzas in and the food menu is pretty good. Most of all, the bar can make excellent cocktails. I've noticed that a lot of locals come here after work so that says a lot. All in all, this was an excellent hotel in a very pleasant little town.

Staff at the Heathman is always very personal. They make You feel at home with great questions, accommodations and how to go the extra mile for my stay. I’ve stayed at this hotel a number of time and will definitely come back.

The room was right above an alley and the view was of dumpsters which of course were emptied very loudley at 500am. Went to lobby to get some coffee and was told they shut down coffee at 900am. They dont tell you parking by valet only at the cost of $30.00 a night. Heating unit banging on and off all night in room keeping us awake. Never going back. Im in the service industry and I do know bad and cheap service when I see it. Have never complained about a hotel before, but this place is way below average.

Everything was great. My only issue was the bathroom doors were sliding, barn style doors that left a large gap you could see through. No privacy when using it.

Had a email the day we were checking in saying for 50$ we could up grade to a suite ………SWEET!!!!! Glad we did it was a 1br 1 bth w/ a FP ……hotel it self was nice , clean and comfy … staff was pleasant .. and decent restaurant attached !!!!

I had a delicious dinner at the restaurant on Friday night.

The location was good. The staff was great. The facilities were fine. What we would consider normal. The noise that the water in the bathroom made. We even heard the neighbors' water at night. The fact that one had to pay extra for parking. Not really normal at a hotel. However, the valets were very nice.

Love staying at this hotel. It’s the only place my wife and I agreed on to always stay at in the future when we are anywhere near Kirkland. The rooms are very clean and nice. Being down near the lake offers a whole bunch of great options including restaurants.

A great boutique hotel located in downtown Kirkland, within walking distance of the Lake Washington waterfront and many fine restaurants. The hotel bar closed at 9pm on New Year’s Eve.

Convenient to dining, rooms was spacious.

The only real concern I had was that the restaurant closed at 2100 & we had reservations at 2030. If you're going to do that, then maybe you shouldn't take reservations with only 30 minutes to spare

I would have wanted a stair access from the 2nd floor to the lobby to avoid having to continually take the elevator.

Fabulous room service (they have a restaurant you can order from on the 1st floor), great walkable location to downtown, very clean rooms and quick, friendly service. Not a lot of available parking, so come prepared to valet. But otherwise I would always stay here when given the chance

Oh gosh, after staying at cheaper hotels for the week, spending just 20 dollars more to stay at the Heathman was sooooo worth it. Beautiful, clean, huge bathtub. I will definitely be back.

The is a jewel by Lake Washington. Drop off you car (valet parking) and walk along the water, dining options galore (all within walking distance) and enjoy the surroundings. Breakfast and happy hour at the connected restaurant The Hearth is fabulous. The staff at both locations understand service and deliver! Convenience, location and quality.

This is a great boutique hotel in lovely Kirkland! It’s walking distance to town, and close to the water. Parking is the only issue… otherwise great property overall.

The hotel was beautiful. Very well appointed. Parking has to be valet for $30 a night. Otherwise free parking on the street if you can find it. Staff was very nice and you can't beat the location. Downtown Kirkland offers everything you could possibly need and near Lake Washington. Highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel is very clean and nice. close to all downtown Kirkland and waterfront. Refrigerator was noisy so turned off at night. We checked in on a Saturday and the restaurant was closed for a private event that night. There are many other options just thought closing the entire restaurant and bar to guests of the hotel was strange. We would stay there again. Tori at front desk was very accommodating when we needed to extend our stay.

Keep in mind that this hotel only has valet parking. Call ahead for fees per night. For me, the inconvenience was tipping the valet each time they brough the car around. Most of the time, we don't carry cash in the right denominations.

This would be a five because the hotel was nice, clean, modern, and in a great location. The reason I don’t rate at five is because the refrigerator in the room did not have an ice compartment. Sorry, but I would like to be able to at least keep an ice pack cold in my room. Also, there were no ice dispensers in the hotel and in my opinion dispensers are required, no debate necessary.

I have found my new favorite spot in Seattle. Convenient, stunning, clean, comfiest bed, charming, 10/10 will stay here again and again. Sunday brunch at the restaurant was lovely, the staff was amazing, a short walk down to the lake and surrounding shops was just the icing on the cake.

We had an excellent stay at the Heathman. The room was large and beds were comfortable. The hotel was close to great restaurants and within walking distance to the lakefront. Very vibrant area. We would stay there again and leave more time to explore the area.

The staff was very accommodating to my early check in request. The property is chic and in walkable distance to all the areas around.

Good place to stay

We always enjoy staying at the Heathman in downtown Kirkland as it is so close to our favorite restaurants and shops. Service at check-in and check-out was smooth as always. Special shout out to Wayne in valet as he held our luggage in a safe place after check-out so we could enjoy lunch before we headed home. Once we were ready to leave, he had already safely packed our belongings in our car and it was ready out front. We look forward to staying at the Heathman again soon.

It was an easy walk to almost everywhere. Beautiful room - no view, but that was not what we were looking for.

The property was great, the staff were super helpful, and the restaurant was great. A woman from house keeping noticed my mom using a walker and went out of her way to help us and even brought us an extra throw blanket. My family had a great stay!

My one complaint is the lighting in the room. It is dark and difficult to see when using the bathroom and packing. The entryway, closet area and location of mirror are dark.

We had a nice stay. The room was very comfortable and clean. The only issue was a party in the adjacent room. We called the desk to find no other rooms available. The desk called the room, and they quieted down (I herd through the wall that we were the second people to call). Other than that, and having to valet park was a little annoying, but otherwise really nice. The staff was friendly, and everything was clean and comfortable.

Heath man is quiet, clean and extremely well staffed. We enjoyed our 3 night stay. Downtown Kirkland is right outside the door and it is a cute, quaint town.

Excellent hotel. In love with the location and places to eat around the hotel. Front desk staff were great. The only issue I had with my stay was right when I got there. Pulled up to get valet parking. Got out of my newer Prius that had decals on it advertising a business that I own. Older person working valet on 04/18/25 looked at me and walked into the hotel. I stand at the front doors to the hotel and he comes back out, looks at me and my girlfriend and walks right by me-and helps someone just pulling in. I literally was holding up my keys for him to grab. I still gave 5 stars because the other valet workers were great. I will def be back.

While the service is like a boutique hotel, it is well established hotel with the best location for walk and food. Walking distance to the lake and all amenities Absolutely loved the experience.
