Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Klamath Falls

From check in to check out our stay was comfortable, peaceful, and easy. The front desk staff and maintenance staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. The bathroom was large and updated. The hotel is near a couple of gas stations and restaurants so it makes it no problem to top off and eat up.

Beds are clean and comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. Staff told us that they're is not a continental breakfast, but our reservation said there would be. When we came for coffee in the morning, there were snack cakes available.

The smell in this place is so bad we had to leave the door open until we had to close the door to go to bed. The lady working was lovely but I would NEVER stay there again !

I had to pay for my room with cash, the front desk said that there machine was broke. My room was very clean, and they were nice enough to leave me a toilet plunger for my plugged up toilet. I have never rented a room that they left a toilet plunger setting in front of the toilet. I can now cross that off of my bucket list, Thank you

The comforter was covered in urine, I realized they don’t wash these as they do the sheets but someone had to make that bed and smell it,

The room was very clean, the young lady at the front desk was very pleasant. I plan to stay at the American Best vaue inn on my return trip.

The rooms are clean and priced right. The staff is helpful and go out of their way to make the stay a comfortable one.

They sneak in charges. No pool,no ice, no vending machine, no amenities.

Staff was very friendly & accommodating (I arrived for check in at 1:20am). Room was EXTREMELY NICE! It was spotlessly clean, had a brand new fridge & microwave, sheets were comfy & clean, towels were spotless fluffy & soft. & carpet/floors were so clean that I walked barefooted on them! This was probably THE CLEANEST hotel room that I have stayed at in 2+ years. (…& I normally stay at 4-5 star respected name-brand hotels. .., I will DEFINITELY stay here again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Great Value for the $$!!

Other than than that it was a good value for the price. We would go there again.

I didn't like the police coming to my door at 1030pm 4 deep talking about a welfare check..talking about someone herd screaming thought it came from my room

Location The rooms are dated and needs work inside and outside. No place for pets to do their duty. They expect you to go on the street, next doors property (Pilot) of around part of the building. I walked back behind the building and there was garbage everywhere!! The parking lot was also grounds for the dog to do his thing as sometimes it was dark and I wasn't comfortable walking to the street or around the building for my dog!!! The property is run down, the rooms are not nice at all and I didn't feel like it was clean with dark, dated rooms. The pool was not filled and able to use on my trip so the whole experience was not good and I did not enjoy my stay.

Check in was late do to the check in person was also the cleaning person. Not very accommodating or friendly.

Room was basic but comfortable. One of the lamps did not work. Bathroom light and fan and sink area in the main room were all on one switch. Inconvenient to have light in main room come on when you only needed light and fan in restroom.

Also need to request room cleaning if staying more than one day.

Parking was fine but the area around was surprising not to have dining options close.

Seemed clean. We had to pay an extra 27.50 for our 9 which had obviously been peed on just inside the door- hence the strong bleach smell for coverup.

The room was clean and cozy. The perfect spot for an overnight visit. I was so impressed by the promptness and friendliness of the staff. A+ service! I would definitely stay here again, especially to pet the cute orange hotel cat who seemed to greet all new guests

Sufficient towels. Wayyyy overpriced for what you get. Interior and exterior lights flashing. Torn carpeting. Pet fee is ridiculous for state of property. Paid $50 more using mobile app to book for a supposed room deal than a person checking in in front of me who didn't have any reservation.

We were also unaware of the 2.5% credit card surcharge, with no option to pay by check. So don’t visit if you are bringing pets with you, and either pay online before arriving or bring cash.

This hotel is just okay. It's cheap for a reason. You get what you pay for!

Lean room & pleasant staff

Our neighbors in the room next door had loud music and talking late into the night as well as early the next morning that kept us from getting a good nights sleep

The reservation did not show up at the property when I arrived and they are over booked. I had to pay extra $200 to get a room.

Gas station and a place to eat is next door, 👍. Check in is at 4 pm 👎 . I honestly didn’t know that, so I got there at 3:10 pm, no room available, need to wait 40 to 50 minutes said the receptionist. Oh well, what can you do.

Staff at check-in was very friendly. The room was very very clean which is a plus. The bed was very comfortable. Although this motel does not serve any type of food right next door in walking distance is a gas station medi Mart which was a plus. If and when we go back to Klamath falls Oregon we will definitely stay at this facility

Quaint and quiet and safe.

Not fancy but easy of access makes it a win. When driving from Central CA to North ID, it is the perfect half way point. We come in late and leave early so the fact that it is only a few yards off the freeway, and you can park with in a couple feet of your hotel room door is perfect.

$140 and couldn’t check in until 4:00. Out by 11 next morning. Room was clean yet worn. We won’t stay her again.

There was NO breakfast or coffee served. The nice lady said we don't do that anymore. Also the wi fi didn't work. Also the pool was not accessible either. Disappointed in the false advertising.

I have stayed at this property several times. It is older but has always been clean, comfortable, quiet and convenient. The most important thing for me is a comfortable bed which I always have when staying here. It is the perfect stopping point for my travels from Washington to and from California.

Exceeded expectations. Good overnight stop while on a road trip. Appreciated pet friendly rooms and reasonable pet fees. Good value.

The room was decent. Ice machine didn't work, no tissues in the bathroom, no garbage can in the bathroom, just one in the room. Not convenient for feminine products since I was traveling with my son. No coffee in the room or lobby when I needed it at 6 am. Heater was very loud and kept me awake at night whenever it would come on. I had to keep it on because there were no blankets on the bed, just a sheet and a bed spread, which I won't use in a hotel ever. The pillows were hard as a rock. Shower pressure was so hard it hurt, and no way to keep it warm and turn the water down with just a one-handle faucet. This hotel was just okay. I had hoped for minimal comfort for the price, a little disappointed.

This place was poorly equipped for a comfortable stay. The room was clean, but nothing worked right. No TV. Lukewarm shower water. One electrical outlet by the sink for the whole room. The lamp by the bed didn’t work. Bottom line, it was a place to sleep. When we left in the morning, one room had been trashed, the door was standing wide open. Like a crime scene. That’s not the motel’s fault, but it’s indicative of the area. I won’t stay here again. There are better options in KFalls for people who need a pet friendly stay.

Facility, price, location.

The bed was comfortable. TV didn't work and clerk was no help. Coffee wasn't available in morning as advertised.

Room was clean and comfortable, also quiet. no road noise or outside noise. Grounds were clean other than the full out side cigarette ashtray which wasn't dumped in our 4 day stay. the trash can by the pool was overflowing with trash on the ground. Had to go to office to get fresh towels even after putting out the room service requested sign. the morning coffee at the front office was cold or nonexistent . other than that our stay was ok.

Found this little gem a few years ago and the family owned motel is simple and clean. The owners are so sweet and kind and always accommodating.

It was great for a family. Plenty of space. The only negative was the ice machine ran out of ice.

2. Bathtub was pretty worn-out and did not look neat. 3. Could feel the springs on one of the bed, luckily the other bed was better, so we could still sleep.

"Free" breakfast falsely advertised. Office did not open until 7 a.m. TV remote was "messed up" beyond fixing.

1): First night at room 106: a): refrigerator is very noise. b): no hot water. (The agent asked us to use room 117 to take a bathing. 2): Second night at room 120: no hot water again. It has waited two hours for the agent to fix the hot water issue (9:00 PM-11:00 PM).

The front desk staff was very helpful. Room was very clean and the shower had good pressure. The bed was a little soft for my taste, but was very workable. Very basic motel, but I had a pleasant stay.

Conveniently located right off of Hwy 97 and very close to Oregon Tech. Small, quiet and clean. Facilities are a bit old and the mini fridge kept making funny noises. No coffee maker in room but the room is otherwise very comfortable.

This was an old fashioned motel, small room, bed not very comfortable, tub had lots of rust. Seemed expensive for the room. Will try another place next time.

This motel was really pared down. Noisy mini-fridge, curtains didn't cover the window very well, letting in too much light. Pool not open, no ice available, no vending machines. Uncomfortable beds and pillows. We had to pay for 2nd night, but left anyway.

If you’re looking for simple, clean and motor up to the room access, this is a nice surprise. Have stayed here a few times before and always a good experience with brilliant white sheets and towels.

No continental breakfast, or coffee at all. Although it was advertised there would be. Pet fee is ridiculous, had three dogs for a dog show in Klamath Falls pet fee was $25 per dog per night. The pet fee ended up being $75 per night which was more or almost as much as the motel rental itself. When I canceled the reservation for the other four days they still charge my card or the very next day what night is that motel cost me $356.

The Bad: poor insulation (the heater has to come on frequently), gaps both above and below the blackout curtain (so the room is not truly dark even with all lights off). Only a sheet and a flimsy bedspread (although I did get a blanket after I requested one). I wish there were electrical outlets by the bed. Extremely thin (almost no loft) pillows. Beddings smelled of strong detergent fragrance. Despite all the issues mentioned, I think this is very good for the money and one of the best budget motels I have stayed at. If all you need is a clean and quiet room with good wifi in a safe and convenient area without the extraneous stuff you may never use, like breakfast and fitness room, this is the spot!

there was no contintal breakfast..got back the second day and our keys din not work ...they didn't clean the room.....no new towels didn't empty the trash

Shower was only two temperatures: hot or cold. No in-between. Made showering impossible. Most of room recently refreshed (except dirty chairs) and parking next to room was convenient.

Advertised free breakfast, not provided. Room was in the 30’s when we entered it……. Not a great location either.

If you want a place to lay your head that is very affordable, please come here. It was cleanall appliances worked and there was hot running water. Nothing fancy but very affordable and clean.

Quiet and made for older adults like myself with modiste pricing.

Certainly NOT the best value at all. No breakfast, no laundry, no pool, no nothing. Not even your own coffee or tea. For a few dollars less, you can stay anywhere else and have all of them above at a number of locations.

One of the lowest price in town. My room was very clean and quiet, well equipped with what you need. Above all it wasn't dated needing repairs or remodeling. Minimal truck noise for being close to highway and truck stop, didn't bother me at all. Pilot truck stop next door was convenient for gassing up, morning coffee and grab n go breakfast food. Tv had good selection of channels (others I've stayed at didn't). Will be booking at this one in the future when I go through Klamath Falls. In the past was staying at more spendy places that really didn't offer anything more to justify the cost

Not pet friendly. No breakfast (or coffee). It’s next to a truck stop, you’re better off sleeping in your car and saving the money.

Very average motel. When I booked, hotel site showed sold out and sites like Expedia showed limited availability but there were only two other guests there the night I stayed. There is no breakfast, not even coffee. It was lightly snowing and the only thing on the bed was a thin bedspread and a sheet. The cable was out. The tub was very slippery. The office smelled of food. There was a marajuna dispensary to one side of the motel.

Broken TV, bedlamp without lightbulb, toilet wouldnt flush, sink had anemic level flow.

The property is right off the highway, so it was easy to find. Area was clean and well kept. The inside of the room is a little outdated, but still very clean. The shower had very good pressure, so much so it sprayed into the floor even with the shower curtain inside the tub. Beds and pillows were soft and comfortable. We would definitely stay again and recommend.

We were staying overnight for a softball game and got the room last minute. Front office gal was great! Room and hotel is dated but very clean. No frills just basic but we slept great.

Very clean, old property but b room redone in nice tile, beds In decent condition nice table nook with fridge and micro. This is a great value clean and comfortable. No permanent or long term residence I will definitely stay again if in the area.

Clean, safe, maintained, well run and good price

Sink faucet is a trickle, ran water for 10 minutes before it got up to temperature. Sink leaked at valve, I tried closing but it did not help, leak continued. It's an older hotel, needs some upgrading and soon a roof!!
