- Friendly and helpful staff in some instances
- Convenient location, often near highways and amenities
- Poor cleanliness and maintenance in rooms and common areas
- Inadequate or non-existent breakfast offerings
- 3/5
Easy to locate, is next to Pilot service station with Subway inside along with the usual travel store items. Hotel lobby clean, staff excellent. Air conditioning worked very well, had to turn it off it cooled so well. Bathrooms need updating. Did not provide much at breakfast, did not eat there and we usually do if it is an included iitem. Overall, it provided what we needed for a stop to sleep on our trip.
- 3/5
Very rundown
- 1/5
Drapes falling down. 1 towel and no hand towels or bath mat. Terrible breakfast options. Awful..
- 3/5
No hand towel was provided. No drinking glass was provided. I don't know what the smoke alarm situation is. There was a smoke alarm, but it was in a drawer. There was something that might have been a smoke alarm on the ceiling, but I was too lazy to check. Also there was a plastic ring in which to put a smoke alarm. I was confused. The room was clean overall, but there were some little black flecks in the toilet and what looked like the corner of a piece of tp. I will stay there again, but it just doesn't seem as though attention to detail is important. Small things, not big things.
- 4/5
I needed a quick stop over on my travels and this place was a great place to stop.
- 5/5
Easy highway access, gas, and food all within walking distance. Staff was great. Easy check in. Room was comfortable. Ample parking.
- 2/5
Location Cleanliness of the room. All rooms bed sheets got stains and not clean at all
- 0.5/5
Not clan at all
- 1/5
The location My room had a dirty towel left in it and it doesn’t look like its kept clean at all.
- 1/5
When I checked-in 6/6/26 afternoon, Jayden was very friendly and helpful at the front desk. Can't say anything else good about this place. The room was very smelly, no fresh air. The bathroom was disgraceful, would not dare take my shoes off or take a shower in that bathroom. Blow dryer did not work. The phone was disgustingly dirty. The bedcover had a burn or hole in it. No tissues in Kleenex box. No cups or ice bucket in the room. Breakfast was poor, fresh fruit consisted of 3 old oranges.
- 2/5
Rooms were dated but not bad, shower water pressure was decent but took forever to get warm and the hallway smelled horrible
- 2/5
Check in was easy and continental breakfast was not too bad. The bath tub was discussing and looked filthy. Paint was chipping off and moulding looked awful. The bead spread looked torn and ratty looking. Outside of our window some one left a paper plate all full of food and garbage. So we kept the window closed.

I was surprised at the condition since it is a Wyndham property. Building needs major repairs. No ice buckets. Breakfast provided was the skimpyest I have ever encountered. Staff was nice and helpful but the visit was very disappointing.
- 1/5
Very poor
- 2/5
Queen bed with 1 pillow, 1 sheet, 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth. No mattress pad, no cups, no ice bucket, no fresh towels or trash pickup/room refresh after 5 nights. Our 1st room had a broken refrigerator with mold in it. The remote for the TV didn’t work. No elevator to get to 3rd floor rooms. Breakfast included coffee and powdered creamer, toast, toaster waffles, OJ, 2 kinds of boxed cereal. No eggs, no pastries, no fruit, no yogurt. Carpet dirty and was not vacuumed during our 5-day stay. The same pet hair and debris was on the hallway rug when we checked in and when we checked out.The grounds haven’t had any maintenance in years-weeds, leaves, dead plants. One exit door only worked to exit, not enter. Cheap rates, nice staff but owners interests are non-existent. We renamed hotel Pooper 8.
- 1/5
Room was dirty, lock broken, felt unsafe and left. Left after 10 minutes and stayed somewhere else.
- 1.5/5
No comment This property needs a ‘face lift’, a complete update. The bed was basically on the floor, not a frame or platform. (Didn’t have to worry about falling out of bed!). The bathroom was not set up or supplied well, with hand rails, bath mat & no Kleenex. Towels were requested & supplied, but no hand towels. TV wand was not usable (oh well!) The policy of non smoking with smoking allowed right out the front doors was counter productive! Some guests need ‘no pets’ to be spelled out, I guess! (And if a service dog, then it should be with a certificate. Our experience was one small yippee dog! I love dogs, but when checking in I had to sign that there were to be no pets! Just saying)

It is what it is. Shelter from the elements, cheap place to stay, nice staff, and an unforgettable experience.
- 2/5
Breakfast was ego waffles, toast, mini bagels, cereal, oatmeal and yogurt. No spoons (they were out) and if something needed to be restocked the young lady acted very put out. The hotel was mostly quiet except for an hour the lady across the hall was, yelling. This hotel chain is one of my favorite, but I won’t stay at this one again.
- 2/5
Found trash in the tub drain, only one bath towel, two wash cloths and no hand towels. The bed was uncomfortable, pillows not much better. We have stayed here in the past, but not again as this place has gone down hill drastically
- 4.5/5
Superb
- 3/5
When I checked out, it wasn't busy, but I was not asked, "How was your stay?" Overall, the motel felt like it needed an update.
- 1/5
Had ants all over. Tub was dirty the heater had some weird brown sticky stuff on top of it and made load noise when ever it was on. The same for the bathroom fan. Carpet un room tore up in places. Missing lights bulbs in two of the lights so was kinda dark. hallway was dirty looked liked it wasn't vacuum in a month. Had homeless people going in and out all day getting coffee. Breakfast was premade waffles wrapped in plastic wrap.
- 1/5
We had hot water The facility is in desperate need of a remodel, the Dryers need a good servicing because our linens were stained and full of hair. We had to ask for our linens and new bedding which we had to change ourselves. The door keys didn't work several times. Also the cable didn't work.

Next to a truck stop. No other businesses near.
- 0.5/5
Laundry is cheap to wash and dry Tv had no volume, their was only 1towel 1bath mat. No coffee maker or tea in room. While I was laying on bed a cockroach crawled up my arm onto my head .Freaking gross. Then add the police shooting someone in the parking lot. Crazy

Horrible handicap room it wasnt at all Everything
- 0.5/5
Everything
- 1/5
Heat didn't work, property was not handicap friendly. Hallway reeked of Marijuana, homeless people camping in the back of the property. Ants crawling all over. This motel is right next to a pilot truck and travel center. The smell of diesel fuel was nauseating. I would absolutely not recommend this motel.
- 3/5
Pleasant
- 5/5
Good place to stay
- 3/5
the heater in the room wasn't working, Staff was great and got us extra blankets because it was cold in the room
- 3/5
Staff were very nice and helped with items when asked. We have dietary restrictions so we did not eat breakfast there but it looked decent. Easy location to get in and out of.
- 5/5
Rebecca, night manager, was winderful! We appreciated our very quiet room.
- 2/5
No breakfast was there ...
- 1.5/5
How clean the place was, and the location. There was not really much for breakfast and we had 1 towel, 1 rag,1hand towel for two people. This place wasn't really prepared for guest who were coming in.
- 1/5
I was early. Bread and bagels to toast, cereal, yogurt, coffee…. I went to Starbucks. First room had no air conditioning. 100 degrees outside. 2nd room had air.
- 4/5
Desk was friendly. Was disappointed with breakfast.
- 5/5
Amazing check in cumfy room!
- 5/5
Was nice
- 3/5
The room was okay. Some updating would help this establishment.
- 2/5
No chain lock in door. TV remote does not work. Phone with buttons taken out, doesn’t seem to work, just a busy signal when calling to front desk. Back door wedged open with a rock
- 2/5
The property was somewhat outdated. However, for the price and the convenience of a one-night stay during a road trip, it met our needs.
- 4/5
Everything was good, people were noisy coming in between 10 & 11, otherwise quiet. Breakfast was cereal, toast, bagels, or frozen waffles with coffee or orange juice. Coffee was awful, no coffee pot in room, nice frig & microwave.
- 5/5
My room was clean. Bathroom was excellent condition. Staff was overly friendly love it not only was there an air conditioner, but there was also a heating which I loved and I didn’t travel with my pet, but it’s nice to know that you are pet friendly I will only stay at your location when driving to Oregon and back home.
- 2/5
The place is conveniently located off the highway, but you do get what you pay for.
- 1/5
Only stay here if you are desperate. We walked into the shabby dirty and smelly room and walked right out. I think Expedia should take this one off the list.
- 3/5
Fair condition
- 3/5
This property is adjacent to a truck stop & highway. Hallways are very dirty. Room is clean, with newer carpet & flooring, but bedding and furniture need a bit of help...
- 5/5
Staff was awesome
- 1/5
So the one person working the front desk was kind, but everything else was terrible. Immediately when you walk in you’re greeted by an immense amount of cigarette smell that you also smell in your non smoking room. I guess if you’re a smoker no big deal but otherwise it will definitely feel like you left with second hand smoke. We only stayed 1 night as we had a feeling it was not going to be great and it was simply on the way to Sacramento passing through crater lake from the Portland area. Won’t ever stay here again, it was also a last minute decision. The bedding had mystery stains and dead ants as well as cigarette burns on the blanket. We literally slept with our shoes on and left promptly on check out day
- 5/5
Nice bathroom
- 2/5
Bath dirty, no coffee, only breakfast option was toast and stale cereal
- 4/5
Check in staff were great. Room was clean. Breakfast had very few selections compared to the Super 8 in Arcata. It was basically cereal, apples, bread or bagels plus coffee. Room could have used some glasses in the bathroom and a coffee maker in the room would have been nice.
- 1/5
The lobby area and hallways smell like cigarette . The room was dirty and beds uncomfortable. There were dead bugs on the window sill and a Cheeto in the floor. Looks like the room has not been vacuumed in a long time.
- 3/5
The receptionist at check-in was great. I needed to ask for towels in the morning because the room only had one for 3 guests lucky that I caught maid service right away in the morning. Our room did smell of cigarette smoke, we are not smokers.
- 3/5
We were on the third floor and there was no elevator.
- 2/5
Room smelled like old tobacco’s. Paint all over bathroom floor. One towel had to ask for another asked two pillow they only had one. Breakfast was below other type of hotels I have stayed in
- 4/5
Quiet, clean and very friendly staff. Minimal breakfast and extras as you'd expect in a budget friendly hotel.
- 1/5
Our room looked like it was under construction. There was spackle all over the wall. There was no headboard. The beds were low to the floor and looked temporary in nature. Additionally, it was dirty and not prepared for guests. No tissues in the tissue holder that was hanging off the wall. No lightbulbs in certain sockets. There was visible dirt and mold on the shower curtain. There were no mattress pads on the beds. The lamp shade was stained and torn. The towel bar was broken. There was a half-used shampoo left on the counter. When I went to the front desk to complain about the room, she told me that management was not doing a good job of taking care of the hotel. When I asked if all of the rooms looks like ours, she said that they just lost a maintenance person and maybe this room was in the middle of a project. However, she stated they were full and could not get us a better room. I have stayed at many Super 8 hotels in the past. I do not expect them to be fancy, but simply functional and clean. Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name on this property. And it’s a disgrace that I spent a single penny on this stay. There is a Motel 6 in town which I suspect would be a significant improvement for someone looking for a budget hotel.
- 1/5
The room smelled and was dirty. Bathroom was not clean and there was trash still in the room. The door couldn’t be secured from inside the room. The outside doors were unreliable. Super disappointing.
- 1/5
I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The room was filthy and reeked of mold — the carpet had visible mold patches, and the entire place smelled awful. The lighting was dim and depressing, and it felt unsafe. There was even a barefoot guest running around acting erratically, which made the whole experience feel even more unsettling. This place is not just ugly — it’s unhygienic and disturbing. Please do yourself a favor and do not stay here. You’ll regret it.
- 4/5
Hotel is conveniently located off of Highway 97. Easy access to all roads leading to Klamath Falls and beyond. This is an older hotel with limited amenities. Breakfast was very basic and had very limited options. Room was what I expected for the price.
- 3/5
It’s a cheap motel so everything is as expected. But our car battery died when we were set to leave and the lobby receptionist came out and helped us jump start our car. She gets 5 stars for being a rockstar! And so helpful! She saved our day!
- 2/5
The whole building needs to be fixed. Our door didn't close unless shoved close. Bathtub was so dirty we never used it. A/C loud and inefficient. Room reeked of Lysol. Carpet was ripped. Handle on cabinet had fallen off. Windows were dirty with fingerprints. Free breakfast was barely adequate. Most of us left hungry. Sounds passed through walls. The whole building was almost empty.
- 1/5
Both rooms have pretty strong smell. My in-law had an headache; we asked to change one of the room but no available one. The room floor mat was still a little bit wet and made us feel very uncomfortable. Breakfast is bad. This is the worst place we have stayed.
- 3/5
My request for a joint room was accommodated. However, one of the rooms had a cigarette smoke smell and the air conditioner did not work. There were clean towels and bedding, but this property could use a facelift. Very dim. Corners were dirty. Fridge was large. No cups in room.
- 3/5
Property was ok. Management was poor. After traveling for 14 hours I just wanted to go to bed, but instead I had to argue with the manager about them not having a room for me even though I had pre-paid. I eventually got a room, but not without a lot of stress. My room was never cleaned my entire stay. They did not have extra blankets or pillows. There was no elevator to the third floor so suitcases had to be drug up flights of steps.
- 2/5
Cons: The bathroom had not been cleaned (an open safety pin on the sink and multiple types of shoe prints on the tile floor was proof enough), the bed cover was smudged and dirty (not stained), and the blanket had cigarette burns and ash smudges as well. PROS However, the staff was nice and despite the building's proximity to the freeway, the hotel was very quiet and conveniently located.
- 2/5
The beds were very hard and i was handed a key to a durty room
- 5/5
.
- 1/5
They gave two overweight old people a room on the top floor with no elevator. The bathroom floor was dirty. The toilet did not flush. We reported it but it never did flush. There was a used cigarette but behing the night stand and a big burn hole in the blanket. There was visible dirt in the drawers of the night stand. I've stayed at Super 8 motels before but this one was atrocious. I cant believe Hotels.com even lists this place on their site.
- 4/5
lots of highway noise
- 1/5
Room, bed was terrible. Unclean, no toiletries, towels , smelled, holes in walls, handicapped room was partially underground with limited window view, damp. Bedding was unclean/appeared used. When we were able to get a new room there were several sets of stairs - completely unsatisfactory . Handicap access gets the worst room? A stay that should have been a relaxing night for us turned into a difficult and unsatisfactory stay. We will not return but will we recommend to others. Even the hallways were dirty, stained and needed vacuuming.
- 4/5
I think they should have had a much healthier breakfast and decaf coffee
- 1/5
Was suppose to stay for 2 nights when they lost power. Room temp went up due to no ac and all the fire doors on the floor closing. Emergency lights went out and my.wife and i almost fell down a flight of stairs multiple times while trying to find out how long till power would come back. After hours of waiting, at 930pm we decided we couldnt atand the heat and went to another hotel. Messaged the owner about a refund and still havent received one yet.
- 2/5
Free breakfast. We entered at 8am. We had to ask for coffee, yogurt, cream cheese and the area was covered in spilt food. No one was attending to the room. The front desk lady was typing on her personal phone when I asked for help.
- 5/5
Not terribly new but in decent shape and while also a few miles from town it was super convenient and affordable as a rest stop heading north or south. Will definitely use it again on my next trip.
- 1/5
Rude staff Stinky room Broken toilet seat Spring bed(difficulty in sleeping)
- 3/5
Only 2 hr time frame for breakfast .. after first hour not much available
- 1/5
The rooms smell awful patched holes in the walls. It is very run down, typical of East Indian owned property
- 1/5
Very unprofessional
- 4/5
Limited dining options within walking distance but a quick exit from Klamath Falls if you are headed northbound.
- 4/5
The location was convient and the motel was clean. Staff was helpful.
- 3/5
I was told that they overbooked, even though I paid in advance and called to confirm about availability before starting driving.
- 2/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds in the room were extremely uncomfortable. I did not sleep well for three nights. The rooms had a horrible smell that others had described as a cleaning chemical smell, the smell did not go away in the three days that we were there. There was no room service for the three nights that we were there, and there was only one small garbage can in the entire room not even a garbage can in the bathroom so garbage overflowed by the time we left.
- 2/5
Cig butt behind night stand.
- 5/5
Nice stay. Great front desk
- 1/5
This was the worst stay I've ever had at a motel. It was noisy and there was tweakers were hanging out it the back. They were loud all night. One man got arrested after it went on all night. Night management did nothing. There were dogs running around and one ran up on my injured dog. There was only cereal out for breakfast. No sugar or creamer for the coffee.
- 2/5
No elevator, noisy neighbors, TV inoperable. Breakfast?
- 3/5
Place was located nice, but its just old and worn out. Smelled super bad of cleaners.
- 2/5
The front desk ladies was amazing but the building was dirty our room had a hole in the wall the screen was out of the window the blankets had stains there was a q tip stuck on the wall the towels look like they was wadded up and stuffed in the rack there was grease marks on the front of the microwave and the TV speakers were blown. It was terrible.
- 1/5
No food or drinks left for breakfast, even though we were there hr before it ended. Bed was comfortable, not the pillows. Towels were paper thin , no kleenex & tp was 1/2 used with no additionl roll.
- 5/5
It's quaint. Cheap and convenient.
- 4/5
Easy check-in pet friendly.
- 1/5
The room had ants and the shower had someone else’s hair. The breakfast consisted of white bread, coffee, milk, and cereal.
- 2/5
I didn't find my reservation I had to pay a lot of money for another hotel plus the lost time
- 5/5
I stay here a lot and enjoy my stay every time
- 5/5
Did the job for a short stay
- 1/5
This is not a good property. It’s uncomfortable and dirty. We slept for a few hours and left. We didn’t use the shower as there was hair in it. The staff was friendly and did recommend a great place for dinner.
- 2/5
bad reception and only 3 channels. Heater/ac didnt work. Loud undesirable people hanging around.
- 3/5
Not a bad stay overall. The property is a bit run down and has obvious signs of heavy usage over a long period of time. The staff was friendly and pleasant although the computer used to check in was down when I arrived so I had to wait. I've always said that it's a bad way to save money to have just one person on duty during the normal check-in hours. You end up with people standing there and waiting for a while when you could pay one more person for 5-6 hours a day to avoid that. I would say the price was good for the accommodations received though.
- 2/5
Computers not working at check in, room had no towels or shower curtain.
- 2/5
Waited a long time to check in because no one was around. Very dirty, we couldn’t even take a bat, the tub was so dirty. Floors filthy, 7 month old daughter found a large hard candy on the floor and had it in her mouth, lucky we were paying attention, she could have choked! Went to the front desk to ask for extra pillows, after waiting ten minutes the attendant came back inside from smoking and told us they had no more pillows… worst hotel stay we have had in a long time. Very disappointed. Will never stay here again and will tell our friends to avoid.
- 1/5
no utensils for breakfast
- 1/5
A month after staying at this hotel, they charged me again for a room which I did not stay in. After multiple attempts to get my money back via email, calls and stopping by the hotel the next time I went through town, I still have had ZERO response from the hotel on this matter.
- 3/5
Can't remember the last time I stayed in a hotel without an elevator. Stay was fine, adequate for my needs. Only slight odor in the room. Free breakfast consisted of two cereal choices, white bread for toast, make your own waffles. Was hoping for an apple or banana.....Adequate.
- 1/5
The room smelled like someone died in. Went back to the desk told him I could not stay there. She walked back, couldn’t believe how bad it smelled. Offered me another room it smelled bad with smoke. I requested a refund and got it instantly, I left and went to go to a different hotel
- 1/5
Was unable to cancel reservation
- 3/5
The bath tub was very dirty and plugged up when I took a shower. Breakfast was ok (continental breakfast) but no knife, we asked and were told again that management. Didn’t buy them either. We stayed in super 8 hotels before and they were very good.
- 2/5
This hotel needs serious updating.
- 2/5
The photos of this hotel must be a decade old. The rooms are not this cleanly or out together. The top blanket had stains. The middle blanket had holes. The carpet is frying. The room stinks of old cigarettes even though they say it’s non smoking. One bed frame seemed broken and the bed had visible sway. The other bed you could feel every spring. It is cheap for a reason. Not worth it even for how cheap it is.
- 2/5
We arrived to the hotel and they checked someone else in under my name. It took 45 mins to sort it out. Then gave us a dirty used room. Took awhile to find a different room. No elevator so we had to climb three flights of stairs.
- 4/5
Sparse, bed tv night stand. No coffee or Kleenex or anything usually found traveling. Breakfast space same minimal. No fruit very very basic no danishes. I was best so I survived.
- 2/5
Breakfast included but no coffee, no cups, no hot water, waffle grill not working nor cleaned from previous use. Therefore had to get breakfast elsewhere. No glasses or cups in room. On checkin stated free coffee but there was none. Do not plan on staying at this hotel in future.
- 1/5
No facial tissue, no coffee cup
- 3/5
Half a roll of toilet paper. No drinking cups or tissues. Crumbs on desk, chair, and floor. Bathroom light was extremely dim. Curtains falling off their tracks. TV wasn’t mounted to the wall and had a lame channel selection. Cigarette burns on the duvet. And the door didn’t lock from the outside, in other words could not leave anything valuable in the room while away. However, the staff were very courteous and as attentive as they could be considering how busy they were being fully booked.
- 1/5
The most horrible experience they didn’t change the sheets of our beds (2 queen) were dirty with hair everywhere so disguising how can you come to sleep with you children in a place like that they didn’t have any more rooms so I ask for 2 clean sets of sheets and I change them my self. Then I went to brush my teeth and the bathroom was also dirty lots of black marks on the tub even hair in the sink overall a horrible experience.
- 1/5
We slept with our clothes on!
- 2/5
It has a 3 star rating on various websites, and that's probably accurate. One light (switch at the door) for the whole room; no plug in the bathroom sink; two useless blobs for pillows; hardly any bedcovers. On the plus side, the heater/cooler worked, so temp. was okay. And breakfast (otherwise useless) did have good orange juice.
- 2/5
Very outdated. Bed very bouncy No toliet paper, soap, in room had to go ask for toilet paper. Looks like no one has been in that room in years thick layer of dust on dresser and by table. Tub had a old glued mat that was peeling up.
- 3/5
Deposit
- 3/5
The young woman at the front desk was very nice and friendly
- 4/5
However, our room access cards frequently did not work and we had to replace them at least 5 times for one overnight. There were no kleenex-type tissues in the bathroom, though there was a dispenser. And the breakfast area ran out of waffle mix and coffee.
- 4/5
Good overall hotel and room. Breakfast was ok.
- 3/5
Bad vibe , dumpy and dirty. Made a big deal about smoking , room smelled like old burnt wood, window screen broken, cheap breakfast,
- 1/5
Clear activity of unwanted and unsafe individuals in the parking lot. Yet, it probably doesn't phase staff since they're probably related to them
- 1/5
Garbage was full from the previous costumers. Dirty towels in the restrooms, empty shampoo bottle (had to go to the front desk to get some) . Window was opened not even locked. Room was supposed to be non-smoking but smell like tabaco.
- 2/5
Horrible beds garbage cans full for days
- 3/5
It's a Super 8 - nothing special about it. There is not an elevator and there are stairs to go down to the first floor rooms or up to the second floor rooms from the lobby, so it is not ADA accessible - just something to keep in mind! The breakfast was also very lacking and the hours are limited - only 6:30-8:30 - which is tough for some travelers, but you get what you pay for!
- 1/5
Old hotel needs a update room was dirty, bed was like sleeping on steel springs,Old carpet dirty windows had a round wooden stick to secure window. Never again staying there
- 3/5
Had to drive to dining not many places within walking distance. Poor Internet at certain times. Only queen beds on third floor.
- 2/5
This hotel is probably also rented by the hour. Whole third floor reeked of cigarette smoke. There were dry bloody boogers stuck to the walls and other unknown dried dripping marks. I arrived late to crash and discovered all of this in the morning! My towels were dirty and stained and the bed was horribly uncomfortable, and the tv was static. I would NEVER stay here again.
- 4/5
Enjoy staying and visit family member. Thank you
- 4/5
Breakfast skimpy but waffles were good-no fresh fruit though :(
- 3/5
Place was very full but not too noisy! The breakfast in the morning was not good: the breakfast room was in very bad condition and food had to be requested … poor service! Other than that ok given the low price!
- 2/5
Ended up in
- 3/5
Needs upgrade. Old, door didn’t work properly. Key card didn’t work consistently, had to slam door shut. Big piece of upholstery missing on recliner. Lighting was poor.

We booked a one night stay to break up our trip to Oregon. The convenience of this great location just off of the highway was great. The coffee in the lobby was great too. The place was quiet and we got a good nights sleep and were on our way early. The price was great for the location as well.
