Stayed there for one night. Nothing fancy but fairly new place so everything was super clean and you get al the basic amenities. The rooms are at least 30% bigger than the usual. If you’re looking for a good place to sleep at night and not socialize in the hotel , it’s an excellent place. Breakfast is standard with warm offerings. Overall very satisfying stay.

Rooms were very nice and very clean. Bed was comfortable and overall a good place. I stayed over a month for work and the price dropped after staying for a month. Highly recommend

Wonderful stay

Parking was avaliable around the property. The location was perfect for an event that was attending at the Pasadena Fairgrounds, located 10mins away. Staff was very helpful and the cleanliness was outstanding. The pool and fitness center we're great and having breakfast at the location was a plus, didn't need to go looking out for somewhere to eat. Overall this place was more than what was expecting and I'd be more than happier to stay here again.

Well I couldn’t figure out how to plug the plug in the bath. It wouldn’t stick so I could fill the tub up with water. I called the front desk and poor girl said was only her second day but I used a cup to keep the water in. Motel was clean and all.

Nice clean room. No need to bother staff. Parking was fine. The manager or staff clerk allowed me and the family to check in at 12:30 vs 3:00. I was very greatful for that. Breakfast was nice but different then other hotels. Fried eggs vs scrambled eggs, potatoes vs hash browns. No waffles. Staff was very attentive to spills and replenishing food. I will stay again.

As soon as I walk in it stink. I didn't think anything of it but it was in room too. Before we checked out we headed downstairs and came up since their was no breakfast. In between that time someone came in my room and took my flat iron from my suit case. I didn't notice until today when I was unpacking. I didn't leave it since I packed everything in my suitcase before going down. I just can't believe this happen. I wouldn't book in here afin knowing they can't be trusted.

It’s clean, well lit, and I (50 y/o woman) felt safe. This is an industrial town, so we are not talking luxury, but it’s more than adequate, with a microwave, refrigerator, small gym and indoor pool. Toiletries are pretty basic as the hotel is geared toward workers in the oilfield industry. Complimentary breakfast is a nice perk. The staff was helpful and they are always cleaning the property. We will likely stay here again when in the area.

At first look you are not sure. Then you walk in to a clean smelling lobby. Great staff, fresh breakfast and comfortable room. I would stay here again.

When selecting a hotel for my 4 night stay, location was probably most important to me. Beyond that, I was very pleased with my room, the comfort of the bed, the free breakfast, and the cleanliness of my room. The AC worked nicely. Parking was plentiful. All in all, no complaints and I would happily stay there again.

"We had a wonderful stay! From the moment we walked in, the room smelled amazing and the small details, like the folded toilet paper, made it feel very upscale. The receptionist was incredibly welcoming, offering us water and engaging in genuine conversation. They were even thoughtful enough to give my daughter a treat and extra beverages when we checked out! I was also very impressed by the breakfast service; they consistently checked the quality and brought out fresh eggs and pastries throughout the morning. Such a thoughtful, high-quality experience."

Parking was easy. Checkin was quick. Had a couple of nightowl neighbors and breakfazst could be better but, other than that, no complainrs. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

I gave 2 stars because our room had a mildew smell and when looking for the cause we found a spot in the bathroom over the tub where the room above us leaked water and it came through. It wasn’t treated so it caused mold spores and a potent mildew smell. Also, the front desk staff were very rude and far from friendly.

Updates needed. Our room smelled of mildew we assume from a flood or the pool. Poor paint job remodel. Our first night the attended didn’t answer the phone. The second attendant for checkout was pleasant and attentive.

The prices are always very reasonable and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. I’d rate this a perfect 5-star, but a couple things I’d say could use some attention; first, I had already purchased my stay through Expedia and when I showed up to check-in, the gentleman at the front desk tried to run my card again. I was sent a notification by my bank about the transaction, so it didn’t go through. It was not done on purpose, but I’ve had this happen at another hotel and I end up having to wait a week or so to get a refund, and that’s just a big inconvenience, especially when on vacation. Secondly, as I mentioned they are very accommodating, however, they don’t offer a free late check-out. I’ve never been charged for a late check-out at any other hotel. if anything, they sometimes say that the room is needed for other guests and isn’t available for a late check-out. $20 for a single additional hour seems a bit excessive. I will still continue to stay at this hotel, the area is calm and the place is friendly and safe.

Sam, who checked us in was warm, friendly, and very accommodating. There was something wrong with our first room, and he moved us immediately. You can tell everything is brand new in the rooms, like they totally renovated the hotel. A couple of things that weren't great - the girl that worked a couple of the mornings was not in a rush to get more coffee when I told her they were out. She took an hour to refill the coffee carafes (that's an important beverage in the morning to most of us!). The other was that the bed was definitely old and very uncomfortable. Lastly, the cable TV was really wonky & the channels would just go out in the middle of watching a show. However, given the incredible price and safety of the location, I would stay again.

"Roach Haven" - Scheduled for 3 nights at Woodspring-Denton.  Saw a roach day one & reported it to front desk (clerk said she'd tell the manager).  I asked if they had any spray and was told no.  This didn't seem logical to me if you know, you have roaches.  A few more roaches began to show themselves.  Day two, spoke to the mgr that morning to confirm the incident at which time he logged it in a book and indicated pest control would be out that day.  I asked a different clerk for some insect spray ... she gave me a can of spray (hmmm ... very odd since I was told they didn't have any the day before). I sprayed the room.  Pest control didn't make it out until the next morning at 8:20.  They sprayed and the roach fest(ival) was on ... as the insecticide drove more of them out of hiding.  This made for an edgy time ... the pinnacle of which was when a roach crawled on one of us that night as we were sleeping.  Shaking my head. Throwing up my hands.

Beds were really comfortable and it was in proximity to a lot of restaurants and things to do. The only thing I will mention is that it has an interesting smell to it but if that doesn’t matter much then I recommend booking.

Glass on window is texured so you can not look out but lets light in.. weirdness and i didnt like it. But rooms were clean. There was a lingering smell of fabuloso. Overrated cleaner and im Not a fan of it. Honestly the only downside to this hotel is the smell of mildew throughout the building. If you have allergies or asthma id use caution here. When i say the smell of mildew is strong in the room im not exaggerating. If your not bothered by smells id say this place is quite a little find for the price.

The hotel was nice. You get more than what you pay for in my opinion. No pests of any kind. I didn't expect any but just to verify, there was none! Temperature from the a/c was excellent. Room size is average. It's very, very clean and the rooms smell so nice. All the staff are very friendly. Breakfast was either sausage links or sausage patties, an odd egg patty thing, and potatoes daily. There is also cereal, oatmeal and toppings and muffins, fruit and yogurt. To drink is coffee, water, milk and juice. Coffee is decent/good. The katin is private, quiet and pretty close to everything. The nearby beaches are beautiful. Definitely recommend El Jardin Beach!

The manager, Jack, was friendly and helpful. My only real complaint is that I bought $25 ice cream cupcakes and the freezer didn’t work so they melted.

The staff was friendly, the lobby look beautiful, the water at the swimming pool was very cold, I like the breakfast, room was clean, nice bed, maybe curtains that will close all the way to keep the room a little more dark.

Every member of staff we encountered was very friendly. Everything was clean and comfortable. The paint showed a little wear in places and the a/c was a little noisy, but overall, a good hotel, especially for the price and location.

It was one of the better experiences I've had at hotels. Not sure why exactly but floors turned the bottom of your feet black despite the many times I've seen hotel staff using mop. Soda/Snack machines did not work. Couldn't really enjoy the indoor pool due to other children left unsupervised and constantly jumping/diving in pool.

Good location for us; recently updated; mattress wasn't the best, but can't find any other problem with our stay. Would stay again.

The room was full of roaches when I complained I was just told sorry about it I had to request to move rooms. The new room the tv didn’t work when I called the front desk they told me I was doing it wrong since somebody up they did the exact same thing I did still didn’t work so they got someone else to come in there who then thought it was my fault the TV didn’t work and then when they couldn’t get it to work, they got me to use YouTube to try to watch TV but then I couldn’t watch any movies unless I bought them and then the bathtub didn’t work so we had to only take showers. And the AC went out in the middle of the night and when I told them about it yet again I was told sorry wasn’t offered any compensation of any sort or a discount. Honestly, after all the troubles, I’m not even sure I should’ve even paid for a room. I would never stay at this place again nor would I recommend it to anyone. I don’t think the elevator has inspection due to the missing buttons and wires that are exposed. The unsafe pipes that are sticking out of the building. The handicap rail is held on loosely to the point I almost fell over when I tried to use it to walk up the ramp. the remodel is not finished, Just sloppy all around.

I enjoyed the convenience of the location in relation to the location I visited. The staff was not very talkative but friendly upon check-in. I liked the coffee at the lobby available 24 hours as well as the 24 hour fitness room.

The only things I wish were better was that the tv didn’t have but like 10 channels and you couldn’t stream anything, the pool had no warmer so it was freezing, and the ice machine wasn’t working on the only floor available. Other than that the staff was friendly and the room was clean. Not sure if it’s enough to make us want to come back however. Thank you for the positives.

Very basic,underwhelming.We had a suite that WAS NOT a suite.Just a big room with a dirty stained couch.No coffee maker,and the bathroom was tiny.The toilet took up most of the space.NOT my standard!1

The bathroom was large with a double size vanity. The bathroom had plug outlets on both sides of the vanity in the wall. (Don't see that too often). Breakfast was decent. They had fried eggs, breakfast sausage, hashbrown potatoes along with pastries and cereal. We did not use the pool but they did have an indoor pool. No hot tub. Hotel was clean and welcoming. Plenty of on site parking. Overall I liked our stay and would stay here again.

Everything about the property and surroundings was terrific--quiet, clean, good cost, etc. The only drawback was the lack of breakfast options.

Rooms are small and very basic. Breakfast is OK, not great. If all you want is a safe, inexpensive place to sleep, this will work.

This hotel looks new, the carpets are fresh and the paint is bright. Nice rooms, large bathroom with stone countertop, with lots of counter space. The breakfast was good, too--fried eggs, sausage links and home fries, with coffee and juice. It was everything that I needed at a great price.

The property was super clean and mostly comfy (the A/C didn’t work wonderfully, but it wasn’t enough for me to never come back). The only disappointment was breakfast. Very bare and low quality.

Really enjoyed our stay. We booked here because we have kids and because of the advertised indoor pool. It was a disappointment that the pool was not heated. But other than that, the property was clean and the staff was very nice. We would return here next time we visit family in the area.
