    There was 4 of us ladies for a girls weekend. We booked a room with a lanai. We received a room on the 2nd floor with a balcony (No Chairs) parking lot view. Room A/C was set to 65. It was not cold in our room. However it was comfortable. Bathroom Mirror light did not work. Room was cute. Bathroom could used some updating. We enjoyed the pool area. Hallways were hot. Seems like we were in the older part of the hotel.

    Our overall stay was very good. The room was clean, the front desk staff was extremely helpful, and even walked us to the pool when we asked where it was. The atmosphere was quiet and perfect for my sleeping kids. The air conditioner in our room wasn't working properly and they sent the technician to us twice before we decided to switch rooms. The only issue I had was that I paid a few dollars extra for the slightly larger room that could accommodate 5 people instead of 4. When we switched rooms on the second night, they gave us a room that accommodates 4 instead of 5, and I did not receive any kind of refund. The stay was great besides that.

    The hotel was beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay special. The staff went above and beyond with a sweet birthday basket, treats, and a card that made me feel so celebrated. It was such an unexpected and kind gesture that truly elevated our stay.     I have stayed at the Renaissance on numerous occasions and it is always five stars across the board. There is literally not one complaint ever. The staff is incredibly friendly / welcoming / helpful and this includes the staff at the American kitchen restaurant attached to the hotel. The rooms are impeccably clean and the entire property is very thoughtfully and creatively decorated. Guaranteed, you would be hard-pressed to find a better property in the Walt Disney world resort area!

I was able to see the fireworks from Magic Kingdom from my room on the 12th floor which truly made my trip even more memorable and magical!     Didn’t get the room booked, after moving rooms it was closer but still not what was booked for 5 people. Elevators down several times, watched maintenance pry doors open to let people out… over three days. Dead roaches on the ground inside the hall on fifth floor, never cleaned up over three day stay.

    This was my first time staying here and I will be back for sure. The highlight to me was the American Kitchen restaurant. The a la carte breakfast, lunch, and dinner were the best. The chef's coffee crusted flank steak is a work of art, and the AK burger and fries a must to try. I will say the lobby staff was the less impressive. We had to double check the activation of cards and late check out. I was there for the tow show so I didn't get to enjoy the pool or spa.

    We waited almost 2 hours after check in time to get our room after several checks on my part to see if room was ready. We arrived at 2:00 and was told would receive a call when room was ready, never received a call. Staff at front desk was rude and said that there was 19 people still waiting for rooms and I would get a call. So frustrating. Food at cafe was good and service was great there. Not enough lounge chairs by pool. People just would hold them all day and not let others use them. Overall okay stay.

    Stayed on the 9th floor however was not able to use my balcony because it does not seem up to coding. The view was of the pool however we say roofs that we dirty. Should pressure wash the roofing since its white. Not a great view especially the views show road constructions.

    Clean and bright, looked newer Rooms had no insulation/sound dampening, they had a cheerleader convention with young kids slamming doors and running in halls all night. Bed was a rock, floor was softer, way over priced for quality. The hot tub only fit 3 people and it was full of kids, no staff paying attention to any disturbances.

    Large gaps under connecting room doors and hotel room door causing safety issue. Road construction behind hotel at night kept us up for hours and we ended up leaving at 3am. Our “city view” was a broken down tour bus and dumpster from the second floor. Drain in bathroom was broken and couldn’t use the tub. Changing the carpets and headboards in the rooms doesn’t change the fact that this property needs an entire overhaul.

    When I booked this through hotels.com I thought I was getting a deal… other fees were never disclosed until I arrived. It would have been nice to be prepared prior that parking cost extra and then resort fees. I thought I was paying that with the numbers I had at booking but ended up being a lot more. Also, there were 5 in my room (I disclosed this prior to arrival) and we only had 2 sets of towels. Got more from a room service lady down the hall… when we left one day and came back, they had cleaned the room and made the beds but all towels were gone again.

    Nice walking distance to Disney Springs. It was nice having a restaurant and Starbucks Café on the premises. When we first got there, the bathroom door lock was broken. But it did get fixed. The fitted sheet on my bed was ripped when I got there and when they made the bed, they just made it with the bed sheet ripped. It didn’t seem like nice sheets were a priority. They couldn’t miss it. The only other concern was nothing that they could helped that was the sound of I-4 traffic

    This property is always the highlight of my visit to Orlando. I love the staff. They're so accommodating and very kind. Emily and Jose were awesome at their jobs! Jose was polite and made conversation while helping my mom and me with our luggage. Emily checked us in and helped me get my favorite area. The restaurant is better than many hotels I've been to. The breakfast is wonderful, and though it can be pricey, the dinner service is my favorite. They sometimes include a free beverage in your welcome packet. It's worth a visit to the bar for a Strawberry State of Mind! There were some repairs needed in our room. 319 had some water damage under the mini fridge and damage in the bathroom. Our safe said “low battery” so we weren't able to use it during our stay but I'm more than sure if we had asked they would've addressed it very quickly because they're always on top of things like this. Everyelse was wonderful.

At check-in, we were told they had ran out of parking passes for our 2 parked cars and to come back for them "later". We also did not know we had voucher for a free drink/appetizer until we got to our room and opened our pamphlet. From check-in, mid stay, and check-out, all of us were not pleased with the front desk service. Our room (163) was EXTREMELY difficult to open from both sides of the door - genuinely almost jammed and required lots of force to open. This was an inconvenience and lasted during the entire stay. We did not feel the need to replace the room due to how short of a stay we had and the experience we had already had with the front desk. Finally, the hotel has very limited options for food/snacks late night after the restaurant closes. We asked the front desk and there is allegedly no vending machines on property. As someone who stays in hotels 3-4 nights a week, this is very abnormal and so we had to spend money on delivery services.

    We were supposed to have a king size, city view room. We arrived at check in to be told the only king available was on the 2nd floor in the outside building (not the main tower). The room was huge but had no seating, just the bed. There was ample room for a sofa or chair like the other king room we stayed in last year but none there. The balcony looked out on the parking lot and we were told to enter through the back doors as a “shortcut”. This doors led to outside which was often propped open with a rock which allowed anyone access to the hotel. Our 2nd floor door had a handle where anyone could access the floor. The bathroom was not as pictured. The HVAC unit outside made an awful noise the entire time. I was very disappointed in this stay.

    Location. ⭐️ 1 Star — Extremely Disappointing Stay We chose to stay at this hotel because my wife previously had a great experience at a Renaissance property in Hamburg, so we decided to pay more with the expectation of similar quality and service. Unfortunately, this stay was the complete opposite. My wife has allergies, and we submitted special cleaning requests through the booking app right after reserving. These requests were ignored, and the housekeeping throughout our stay was unacceptable. On the first night, the room was visibly dirty — the floor had dust, the bed sheets had hair on them, and the shower also had hair left behind. The same situation repeated on the second and third nights, and surfaces were not properly cleaned. To make matters worse, our shampoo and conditioner were not even refilled. Every night we had to speak with the front desk, but instead of real solutions, we received excuses. The first night they offered to waive the resort fees, but we made it clear we weren’t looking for discounts — we just wanted a properly cleaned room. The second night, nothing was offered at all. On the third night, they repeated that the fees were already waived and said there was no housekeeping available. When we called again about the missing toiletries, the only solution offered was to move us to another room — and that room was also dirty. For the price they charge, this experience was unacceptable. The service and cleanliness were worse than what I’ve experienced in much cheaper 2–3 star hotels. Here, you’re paying for the brand name — not the quality or hospitality. We will not be returning, and we do not recommend this property, especially for guests with allergies or reasonable expectations of cleanliness.

    The hotel was very nice. The people were friendly. The only issue i had was with shuttle service to the parks. I reserved shuttle service for each day as soon as i checked in. The earliest shuttle for the next day was not available so I had to drive and pay for parking. I got the 7:05 for the next 2 days but by the time we got to the parks the line for early entry was already so ling it was pretty much worthless. So i had to drive and pay for parking again on the fourth day.

    The room was clean, but cold have been cleaner. Specifically bathroom floors, behind the doors, in all small corners. Ceiling in room 128 needs some work (peeling). Entry door is very hard to open unless you jam it down. Did I feel safe, yes. could it be cleaner, yes. Breakfast buffet was awesome, 7 dollars for orange juice is crazy. Food for dinner had a lot to be desired. All the staff are amazing people and were very very friendly.

    I decided on this hotel for a family night's stay, paying a bit more for two rooms compared to other hotels. The pictures and positive reviews drew me in. Sadly, the rooms were disappointing, with ants and various maintenance problems, including a broken towel rack, clogged bathtub, and a faucet that fell off during my daughter's shower. Additionally, my daughter fell at the entrance because the floor was too slippery. On the positive side, the staff were doing their best under difficult circumstances and were very willing to help; that said, these rooms really need a major refurbishment.

    I picked this hotel because it seemed like it was the cheapest of all the downtown Disney hotels.This stay was OK although I wasn’t aware of the $30 a day parking fee. And the resort fee is kind of a rip off as well. The refrigerator was not working.Bed is too firm, pillows were not comfortable. Had breakfast in the restaurant only because we had a coupon. But the eggs were not hot and it was too drafty in the restaurant, also drafty and a weird perfume smell throughout the hotel lobby.

    However, housekeeping and service were disappointing given a four star rating on Expedia. We stayed for four nights, and one full day of room cleaning was completely missed. From what we observed, the flooring was barely cleaned — debris near the trash can remained there from our first day until we checked out. Water and coffee were also not refilled unless we specifically requested them from the front desk. We also had an issue on the day of our extended checkout. Our room key stopped working, and even after front desk staff tried to re-scan it, the door still wouldn’t open. We ended up waiting almost half an hour and riding the elevator up and down several times looking for help before a staff member used her own card to unlock the door. This happened while we were heading to the airport, and the situation was handled quite slowly, which added unnecessary stress.

Its a beautiful hotel, the staff is super friendly, curteous and helpful and its a close walk to Disney springs. Theres a shuttle to the parks and this hotel offers early entry!     The bedrooms are fine, but the bathrooms all have black tile… The grout and the glass around the showers are disgusting. When we first checked in, I immediately asked for a different room, but they had to show me four other rooms that all had the same problem in the showers. Unfortunately, we settled on a room that was the least gross. The front desk people were super professional and handled it very well, but the showers are truly gross.

    we reached out several times to confirm our VERY late arrival, i was advised to check in on the app but then couldn't use the key because of the elevators not connecting with them so we had to still stop at the front desk to check in. Our room had nothing ready for the pull out bed so we had to wait 30 mins for bedding (at 2 am) and the pull out was big enough for 1 person, not 2.

    I really enjoyed my stay at this location! The staff were all very friendly, the lobby was clean, the food options were pretty good, and the location was perfect!     Decided to stay here for my one year anniversary with my boyfriend as it was closely located to the parks and due to the last minute plan we weren’t able to spring for a Disney Resort without breaking the bank. Let me tell you, I wish I spent the extra money because this hotel was truly terrible. We were located in the Linai area which is off the side from the check-in building. The entire part of this building smelled of mildew! The floor in our room was cracked. You couldn’t take a shower without flooding the bathroom floor and on top of that I hope you don’t plan on having a hot shower after the parks because my water was cold!! They gave us the wrong room the first time and when I went back to the desk they brushed it off by saying that the room was mislabeled. Unsure why this hasn’t been fixed by the property and doubt this is the first time it has happened. Also, was hoping for maybe something special for our anniversary even a note card in the room would have sufficed, but nothing. Would not stay here again, in fact, I am extremely dissatisfied to the point that I wish I could get my money back because what I spent is nowhere near worth the horrible experience I had.

    Property was a good value even though their daily resort fees seemed a bit high at first. But it does include Disney early access and a free shuttle bus to and from any of the Disney parks. Room was spacious but the beds seemed a bit old and too soft and spongy. Bathroom was clean except the shower had some chipped tile and was missing the drain cover. Also strangely no washcloths only hand towels and bath towels.

I was told that because I booked through an outside source they couldn’t work with me as far as giving us extras such as a complimentary breakfast. So book directly with hotel if looking for upgrades upon check in.

    My room was not clean nor was I given fresh towels. When housekeeping came to my door I asked her to come back shortly. I left my room 25 minutes later.     Checked into are room very late. The bathroom had an old used towel and and a hair cap hanging from the back of the bathroom door. The ice machine on the 3rd floor didn’t work, the phone in our room didn’t work, there were no blankets on the beds and to make matters worse at the time of check in I requested a late Check out. I put the no disturb sign on the handle of door and at 9:39 I received loud knocking with a women screaming housekeeping. That’s how my family woke up. Unbelievable experience as we were celebrating my daughters 13th birthday

    The hotel had wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. The rooms were big, clean and comfortable. The pool was clean, the pool bar was great and the DJ made it all the more fun! The gym was super clean and they have free morning yoga classes!! Would recommend it to anyone!!

    I have been staying at this resort since before it was Renaissance and it has always been a wonderful experience. The location is great. The spa is top notch. The customer service is always the best!

    I love the area because it’s close to everything! The hotel is very quiet and professional. The parking fee seems a little unnecessary, and the pool area furniture needs more attention. Especially the furniture on the patio of the room’s bottom floors.

    Buena localizacion. El hotel muy bonito y staff amigable. El estacionamiento $30 diarios es demasiado, sin ninguna opcion lo pagas si o si. Me hospede 3 noches y no fueron a limpiar cuarto. Llame para ropa de cama adicional y la que me trajeron estaba manchada.

    The a/c system needs an overhaul. It seems to be having a really hard time keeping up with the outside heat consistently. Our room took hours to cool down. The in room fridge/ cooler wasn’t cold at all. The landline phone did not work. The staff, while very nice, seemed disjointed. Everyone in the building should know answers to questions such as “ where can I get ice?” , and “who do I see to get extra k-cups?” I stayed at this hotel with my mom many years ago when it was the Plaza Royale. I’m happy it’s been restored. With a few tweaks, it could be an exceptional hotel again.

    Was very unhappy with the saty. Was charged an additional $250 that we were unaware of the day after we arrived, and then another $250 after we left. At this point we have paid twice the final bill, will take 3 to 5 days to fix, account is overdrawn now, and anniversary ruined. Thanks a lot. Will never stay at one of their properties again.

    Looked recently renovated; was clean and convenient. Large bathrooms with an actual door! (which is more than I can say for a lot of new hotels with their sliding pocket door nonsense) Shuttle bus worked out great, and if you use it, it kinda makes the overnight parking fees a wash (as you avoid Disney’s parking fees)

    Great property! Nice pool / bar areas and good restaurant. Good size rooms and reasonable prices. Bus to parks not quite as convenient as Disney hotels, but room cheaper so trade off... busses get the job done, just longer waits and not available as often.

    When I arrived at the hotel at 1am, I was met with 3 staff members. All were very friendly. I had previously left another hotel and was extremely exhausted. I was NOT told that I would have to pay an entire day for TWO hours and had I checked in at 3 am it would have been considered early check in. I get into the room on the first floor. I would NOT recommend this. There were bugs I found on the floor, the rooms were clearly outdated, flooring was very questionable and hard to tell if it were truly cleaned. The room smelled stale. I was so exhausted I sprayed the bed and hoped for the best. The next morning (mind you I had a reservation from Th to Su. My son had a tournament so we left early and I was going to talk to the staff when we returned. We came back only to find our stuff LOCKED in the room and the keycard not working. I go to the front, I explain about the bugs, I explain my stuff is in the room and to inquire about what’s going on. I spoke with one of the girls and she said pest control had been called and that they can change rooms but I needed another hold fee that cannot be waived. I was livid. I eventually spoke with Savannah the manager and she took care of everything. We were moved to the 17th floor and while the flooring still is questionable, it was a MUCH better stay. We went to the restaurant and the food was good. We had a nice view and could see the fireworks from our room. Overall it ended well but I WOULD NOT stay on the 1st floor

    We were in town to provide some entertainment at the house of blues over the weekend. It was a great property, convenient to where we needed to go. The rooms were very comfortable. It was the perfect location since we were coming back at late hours.

    The upgrade to the hotel is gorgeous. Absolutely loved the decor. It was clean, smelled good and the bed was comfy. Check in and check out was a breeze. The pillows aren’t the best but I still slept well. The pool is great! We really loved it!

    I was also charged almost $900 per day between 2 separate charges of $546 and another daily charge $305; I had paid in advance for my week reservation through expedia and had receipts! I was charged every day and my account was literally DRAINED! I CHECKED OUT 2 DAYS EARLY AFTER DISCOVERING MY ACCOUNT WENT FROM ALMOST $5K TO $177.00 I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN AND LIKELY WILL NEVER USE EXPEDIA AGAIN! I FEEL TRAUMATIZED, VICTIMIZED, EXPLOITED AND ROBBED!

    My bed had a batch of hair in it. The floor on the exit of elevator om third floor seem dirty. The waitress on the first day was really good the second day was awful brough our breakfast wrong had to wait for breakfast while everyone else ate.

    Cute property. Pretty close walk to Disney springs. Shuttle buses were always on time with plenty of seating. Reviews say it has laundry facilities but it does not have laundry machines. Overall had a great 16 night stay here and would come back for sure.

    As a proclaimed “Disney Hotel” I cannot believe I was charged $30 a day parking fee as Disney hotels are free parking. Would I have know that I would have stayed on actual Disney property. I chose Renaissance to save a bit of money but ended up spending more after resort fees, parking fees, Ubers to park etc. Lobby is nice and updated. Bathrooms need to be redone and we could not cool off at night no matter how low we put AC.

    We stayed at this hotel for the 4th if July weekend. It was clean, near everything, and staff was friendly. No issues at all. The pool was nice and on one day they had a DJ, which was pretty cool. Gym is small but had all the essentials. Breakfast is not included. And watch out for those resort fees and that parking fee! $30/night for self parking! I rented thru Expedia and it was not really noted unless you're looking for it. A little expensive when your add all that up but no complaints.

    Unfortunately, the air unit in our room wasn’t working. It wouldnt cool below 76 degrees. Maintenance came to fix it promptly after we called the front desk, but then we woke up to the sound of dripping water from the ceiling. We couldn’t sleep and ended up with a large amount of water all over the floor.

    There were tiny ants everywhere in the room, the towels were so scratchy and rough, you hated to use them! Also they don’t tell you you can hear traffic going by all night and we were on the 12th floor… it was like staying at an apartment complex.. you could hear every sound from the hallway or other rooms..

    The stay was exceptional and the hotel and room were very clean. I would o my add a couple points. I looked for an exceptional hotel at a great price, however I brought my car and parking was an extra $30 nightly. The cafe in the lobby was perfect but could get easily bogged down if more than 4 people were in line since it included coffee as well. Again the cafe was perfect and food was amazing (they do offer vouchers for food and drinks) , if they could offer a self checkout in the cafe/store that would be amazing. Either way I can’t stress enough that the hotel is exceptional and feels very high end. I would recommend it to friends.
