When we arrived the night front desk lady was super nice but any other staff were rude and not helpful. The room was super hot and the paint was flaking off the walls and the bathroom door. Two of the 3 lamps were broken. The next morning the breakfast so so disgusting I videoed it and maybe I can upload the video. The pool doesn’t open until noon and closes at 9pm but a 11am check out so you can’t swim in the morning before leaving and that sucked.. but it’s whatever at this point, guess it was a place to sleep for a night.. breakfast was gravy soup, super watery box eggs, mini muffins Cheerios, no toast juice bagels waffles… 👎

The room was clean, but rundown. The breakfast was was adequate, but if you didnt like coffee or hot tea, there was nothing to drink. There was a microwave and fridge in the room, but no coffee maker.

NO Towels were in the room. No Kleenex in the room. They ask for a Credit card I ask why? They said they needed one on file I said ok not knowing they were gonna charge 100.00 on my card I ask why??? They said it would be refunded when we checked out. They kept 25.00 When I paid online we did not know we would be charged that to. No where does it say this . There is a sign in the front office, but we don't see that until arrival.. Never ever will I stay at a Dr's inn again.. Very disappointed

I love that this hotel was only 12 mins from Wild Adventures and was very clean. I did NOT like the attendant that worked in the mornings and at the time of my check in. She was very unpleasant!! I also feel like you should be necessary aware of the $100 cash deposit because most people don't carry cash. I had to find an ATM!

The bottom sheet was nasty, the spread was nasty, the molding around the bottom of the room was coming off. When we said something to the woman at the front desk, she had an attitude with us.

The property is in a state of disrepair bugs in the light fixtures and the lights don’t work in the rooms bold on the ceiling disgusting

The room was smelling bad and the sheets in one of the beds were dirty with black spots and appeared like used. The bathroom had smells at urine and the towels look very old. Next day at 8:00 am the housekeeping people knocked the door asking for cleaned, disturbing our rest. We didn’t like this stay

The receptionist was very nice. The place was okay for a one or two night stay. I wouldn't stay any longer than that. The place could use a lot of TLC. House keeping is not good. They need to clean the rooms better. They did not clean the rooms while I was there. I am use to housekeeping asking you if you want your room cleaned or if you needed fresh towels and Days Inn I didn't get that. Other than my semi clean room and lack of TLC to the place it was ok.

The bathroom had so much condensation that water was dripping from the ceiling. There was only about half a roll of toilet paper, and I didn’t want to ask for more because it seemed like we’d have to bring the empty roll as proof. Breakfast also had little to no options. They had jelly, but no bread. Overall, the stay was okay, but the room conditions and breakfast definitely need improvement. The staff, however, was amazing.

The motel was far below the rating of 7 that it was given. Shortly after getting into our room, we noticed that we could hear everything from the room next door. Since the hotel was far from full, we went to the front desk and asked for a room that was not next to anyone else. Immediately when we walked into the new room, it had an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. We decided to make the best of it because we didn't want to change rooms again and it was better than the noise next door. Then I noticed that there was no hair dryer and there was actually a big hole in the wall where it should have been. I tried to call the front desk on the phone in the room, but it did not work. I went to the front desk and she did give me a hair dryer. I told her about the cigarette smoke and she looked at me funny and commented that "this is a non smoking hotel". Well... not in that room. The worse part of the stay was when my husband got up in the morning and turned on the light in the bathroom, bugs went scurrying. Not sure what they were and don't want to know. The room also listed that it had a coffee maker and it did not. The complimentary breakfast was very lacking, didn't even have any juice. When I checked out I told them about the phone not working and they said they just put in a new system and it should. Well... not in that room. Lots of marks on the walls and ceiling. Could see daylight between the outside door and frame. Only good thing was it had a nice bed.

RUN! DO NOT STAY HERE! Check on line was fine. The room is a dump: nasty stains on furniture.broken chair, wobbly shower chair that barely fit the bathtub (specifically requested an ada room but was shocked by the tub, threadbare towels with only two small towels, warm refrigerator, no coffee machine , hair in shower and even on door, two shower heads spitting water but not enough for easy rinsing (mostly in my face and over head), toothpaste on faucet, not even any juice or yogurt at breakfast. Thank you, GOD, for Lysol.

Room was dirty. Bathroom was dirty. Fridge didn’t work/get cold. However, the staff was friendly and helpful.

We checked in at 11-1130pm after a long day of driving and went into the room, first the light switch didn’t work, air conditioner didn’t work and found multiple dead roaches around the floor and in the garbage. Front desk was understanding and asked if we wanted to switch rooms, at this point I just wanted a refund.

Room was disgusting. There was a smoke detector beeping all night in the room next door. There was no water in the room. The bathroom was super gross. Baseboards were peeling off the wall. The handle in the bathroom sink was impossible to turn. It was basically stuck closed. The breakfast food was terrible. I will not be returning to that place.

This is a terrible place to stay. Everything was nasty. Pillow cases were dirty, floor was so dirty it made my socks unwearable. Bath mat was dirty. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I booked a king got 2 queens and then he said the price had gone up on the room. I refused to pay more for a downgrade due to their not having a king.Total dive and unethical.

Room had cockroaches. Paint was scraped. Bathroom tiles were dirty. Another traveling group was checked into the room next door at 3:30 AM and stood outside our door having conversation, moving luggage, and slamming doors for almost 30 minutes. Not exactly the fault of the front desk but I imagine another area of the facility wouldn’t be next door to an occupied room.

I would not stay here again, bathroom door had peeling paint and it look like it had been through a hurricane, beds wre full size with a sheet to cover yourself that should have been put on a twin size bed, bathtub had stains in it and was not cleaned properly, I had to go to office to ask for iron to use.

We got in so late and were so tired, did not even carry anything inside (thankfully). Did not care about any amenities, just wanted sleep. Went to sleep with clothes on. Went potty in the middle of the night, and when I turned lights on in bathroom, bugs went running (roaches, not adults but babies). Needless to say, i did not go back to sleep and was ready to leave! Since we did not carry anything inside, nothing to lay eggs in, although I worried about anything on me. There was no way I would even think about eating breakfast or getting a cup of coffee. Told girl at front desk and she said sorry. Drove thru McDonalds drive thru across the street for coffee and biscuits. No, I would not recommend for even 1 night. We should have slept in our car across the street at Cracker Barrel.

The room requires a thorough deep cleaning. Debris from the previous occupant was still present. Ants were prevalent around the bathroom sink. The paint and walls appeared damaged, resembling destruction caused by an animal. Requesting clean towels necessitated two attempts before delivery. Furthermore, the room phones were inoperable.

Staff was nice and friendly. Room was ok but there was dirt\junk on the floor next to the bed. Towels need to be replaced and there was a big palmetto bug in the shower the next morning when we left. Breakfast was ok but the milk was bad. They need to check it before putting it out in the morning.

It was my second time staying here and I really enjoy staying at this hotel when I’m visiting family. It’s clean, the price and just right and comfortable. Lisa’s Billiards & Sports Bar less than 2 mins away is a great place to night cap for drinks and hot snacks that’s close by. I only had 1 issue which was a toilet flooding and it was resolved by one of the Front Desk Representatives quickly by placing me in another room ASAP. Thank you for that !

Bed very comfortable

I know this is an older motel. There was dirt on floor in the room we were given. The bed skirts were dirty. The one morning we went for the “continental breakfast” was very slim. Only one piece of bread left for toast, no fruit, no juice.

We were pretty disappointed in the cleanliness of our room. Towels ans sheets were stained. The floor has our feet black. I didnt even wanna put my barefeet in the shower. I wouldnt even call breakfast a breakfast. Pictures must be really old because nothing looked like the photos. Not worth the money. Wish we should've just left!

The property was dirty. Sheets,towels,comforters, were stained. General Manager said there was nothing she could do when we showed her roaches. I would suggest that Expedia remove this hotel from their preferred list. I also called the Lowndes County Health Department and filed an official complaint

This hotel is absolutely not as advertised. When we arrived, there were only three cars in the parking lot — first red flag. Check-in was a nightmare with unhelpful service. The rooms were old, dirty, full of mold, and even had bugs. We tried to check out just 15 minutes after arriving, but were told the manager wasn’t available and the front desk staff had “no way of contacting her.” This was a horrible start to what was supposed to be a fun family vacation. We didn’t even bring our luggage inside and ended up staying awake all night — we felt too uncomfortable and unsafe. A complete waste of money and time. To make things worse, the manager didn’t show up until 10:30 AM the next morning and was extremely rude and dismissive about our concerns. The customer service was unacceptable from every level of staff. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

The staff at the reception was very accommodating. And apologetic for the dirty rooms. We finally accepted the third room they showed us. The hotel is under renovation and that was not mentioned. And the area is rough.

Property did not look like it was pictured in ad. Sheets were worn and blankets had spots on them. Room didn’t have a clean feeling.

The first night we got in a room there was roaches there was fleas very terrible at 3 AM. They switched us to another room after that it was OK.

Breakfast was awful no fruit, no yogurt, no milk, and nothing but coffee to drink. Staff told us corporate was making them cut back. Horrible experience. No one cared when I shared these issues.

Dead bug behind furniture. Could tell they don’t do a thorough cleaning daily in the rooms or between guests. Just a more superficial cleaning so it would look okay to naked eye. Lots of scratches on inside of front door. Broken baseboards. Also very thin walls. Could hear neighbors entire time and it was very unpleasant when we were trying to sleep and they were very loud.

Older facility. Assigned room wasn’t ready so they changed the room no remote in room had to call front desk. Didn’t work when they brought one.

Bathroom floor was very dirty. If I had seen the bathroom floor when we first arrived… I would not have stayed! Bed linens were clean and floor around bed was clean. Refrigerator was dirty inside. They had breakfast but we did not eat there! Serving spoons were laying on top of containers with food on them, very unsanitary! They had a towel draped over the juice dispenser… very unappealing! Will not stay there again and would not recommend! The parked corvette convertible under the canopy entrance looked like it hadn’t moved in awhile ….same spot as when we arrived. It looks like any profits made from the property are not reinvested in maintenance or in proper cleaning!

Outside there was cigarette butts everywhere and spider webs on all railings. Room needed cleaned better. Hair all over, dirty q tips amd kleenex behind chair in corner, stuff splatteted on wall and behind bathroom door, fridge and microwave really need wiped down bad. Dust ruffles under mattresses were dirty and we had to ask for new bedding at 930 at night because ours had stains?? All over them. Very disappointing.

The property itself was rundown and everything from the floors to the television on the wall needs to be redone. Everything seems like it’s been there for 20 to 30 years.

This motel is very very outdated and old. The floors in our room looked new though and a couple of night stands were new as well. Bathroom was in need of a desperate facelift and a good cleaning. No lights just lamps, the switch on the wall did not work. The air conditioner was very very noisy and sounded like an animal was scratching it from inside. It did cool the room well though. The bathroom door did not close all the way it was broken. The shower head was rusted. The breakfast was pretty good. Staff was friendly. Parking was easy. Overall it's overpriced to be outdated like it is. The pillowcases were stained. Sheets had cigarette burns. 3 out of 10.

Stayed here 2 nights with my family. Very old, bathroom wasn’t very clean nor the sink, counter, mirror. The floor had dirt and debris from previous guest I’m assuming. The beds are hard as a rock and the pillow/bedding had stains on them from the previous guest I assume.

First room had roaches second room was dirty had to go buy products to clean the bathroom if I had enough money I would have went to another hotel was very upset couldn’t let my grandson on the floor without socks don’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

I didn't like anything there. The property has bed bugs and nobody wants to do anything about it. So me and my kids had to leave in the middle of the night and find another hotel.

We checked in in the evening and I was with my grandkids. Our room was hot when we walked in but the problem was my granddaughter took off her shoes and was walking around on the hardwood floors and then got on the bed and her socks were black. The worst thing though was the muffins that someone before us were smashed and still on the floor. Hair on the floor. I went to get a broom and dust pan to sweep a path for them to walk. I made them keep socks on so they would keep their feet clean. Bathtub was not clean either and I wouldn't let them shower. I did tell the person at the front desk and showed him pictures. He acted disgusted, but didn't offer me another room. I asked for a mop and was told they didn't have one and I saw it sitting near where he reached for the broom and dust pan.

This was the most disgusting property I’ve ever had the displeasure of checking in to (not staying at as we checked out immediately). The front door was scratched up, the bathroom door had peeling paint, the ceiling had spiders, the water faucet in the sink didn’t work, the trim was hanging off the wall, the corners looked dirty, and there were people constantly stomping up and down the stairs. There’s no way I’d ever stay here again or recommend it.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nicely updated, but focus on cleanliness was lacking. Floors and doors were really dirty. A friend also stayed in the room next to me and said there were used wash cloths draped over the shower curtain bar and the floor in front of the toilet had what looked like pee on it.

Photos on the app were very deceiving as well as the ratings. Dirty unkept area, garbage and old luggage by the outside ice machine. Very dark outside. I wouldn’t feel safe staying there alone. Very old.

The property has fallen into disrepair, using rooms to accommodate highway or utility workers post-hurricane.

I was texted multiple times asking when I would arrive while trying to drive. The bathroom and sink area was not the cleanest (hair and dust all over), the toilet was leaking around the floor so much it seeped under the wall and the floor next to bed was even wet. I understand they may have been cleaning up property and area from storm damage, but still no excuss for not being clean in the room. And two women at breakfast held up everyone else from being able to get food by hogging the waffle maker, took all of the muffins, and most of the other food (legit walked out with 8 plates FULL of food and came back for more). Not sure if she could have said or done something about that, but nothing was said so breakfast was an inconvenience.

Everything was acceptable, much cleaner than it used to be, only issue was no ice buckets in the room or available at the front desk.

The staff were very nice but I wouldn’t bring my bags in leave anything on the floor and didn’t even take a shower. It was disgusting! They need to clean up garbage and fence that’s down on the grounds and renovate these rooms! No putting a bandaid on them just to try to make them look good. Never again! Very expensive MOTEL room.

Close enough to wild adventures and dining for a good time and I’m sure without impending bad weather, relatively much quieter too!

Someone was in our room the second day of stay after ladies changed out 3 towels. The room door was left Open when we arrived back in the room in the afternoon!

Dead bed bugs were visible on the comforter and the comforter was stained and the bed skirt and sheets were also stained and dirty. The floor was sticky and the lock was loose on the door.

Rooms was disgusting. Stains all over both beds. Molding coming off the walls. Trash bags over the windows in the room next to ours. Weird smell in room. 0/10 recommend. Hotels around this one condemned.

This is a very old motel. The room looked a lot better than the outside might suggest. It was remodeled in a modern style. The furniture was very nice. The couch was comfy but had stains on it. Short of replacing or re-upholstering nothing can be done. The bathroom was clean but showed mold in places. The bed was very nice. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The proprty was conveniently located frim the wvent I was attending However, the tub needed a deep cleaning. The sink and fixtures needed to be updated. Every outside door to an individual room had markings, paint splatter, or what looked like rust. The wall socket next to the bathroom doesn't support any thing that would need to be plugged in. I would not stay there again, nor would recommend it.

We booked this hotel arrived and did not even stay in the room - walked across the road and checked in to another hotel. Not clean, random pieces of furniture outside of hotel, doors looked like they had been tampered with - people loitering around . Calling Expedia to issue a formal complaint.

Staf was very friendly. Complimentary breakfast was good. This area suffered some damage from hurricane Milton & the area around there was being rebuilt. The rooms needed a deep cleaning. The floor needed a scrubbing , the couch was very stained & the top sheet had dried blood on it
