    We stayed 5/29 and checked out 5/31, there was no hot water the whole time during our stay so showering was not possible unless you like 70 degree water which is basically your supply temp in Florida. Staff couldn't help said talk to management. Laundry area had no lights by equipment, room safe didn't work, and thermostat on wall in room didn't work which created its own issues. I really have issues with the no hot water this isn't a home away from home stay with that and temp control in room being half working created issues as all the way by the bathrooms were not cool enough unless you pushed the unit to below 70 which was too cold by the unit. Laundry was coin operated so bring quarters because they couldn't supply $4 worth so we could do our laundry and had to get from local gas station. Breakfast was fine but had to wonder how they washed the dishes that the food was in? Probably why guess had paper plates instead of real plates but I could be wrong.

    the hotel had no hot water for showers and they knew there was a problem and still charged like they were fully in service. Also my telephone in my room was broken and would not hang up so it kept making the noise like it was left off the hook I had to unplug it and all these things were brought to their attention and nothing was done. I t was the conversation at breakfast with my fellow guest.

    The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was also very delicious and better than I expected. Thank you. We stayed for 3 nights to attend our nieces graduation and senior festivities. 1. We did not have wifi (they said they were working on it). 2. We never got hot water (they said they were working on it). 3. The blow dryer did not work. Got another one only to find that none of the outlets worked in the bathroom. 4. Coffee pot worked one time and quit. 5. Only one or two outlets worked to plug in anything. 6. The last night we walked down in our pajamas at about 9:30pm, down the exit stairs because the fire alarm went off. When we got down there we were told everything was fine and they were sorry. Go back up. Honestly, I had never seen anything like this at any of the IHG hotels I’ve ever stayed at! Staff were nice and I heard them apologizing to other guests also.

    “I was the victim of a theft inside my hotel room. When I noticed that my belongings were missing, I reported the incident and asked the hotel staff about them.     The staff are friendly, helpful and prompt. Would have love a bit more food choices for the breakfast. I did not see cheese or jelly during my stay but the basics were provided. I would have like to have a free bottle water per day as well.

    Dirty bathroom. Toilet seat had been replaced and the new one was smaller than the toilet bowl. The shower floor was extremely slick and there was no non stick mat provided. Cover on the shower drain was not attached. I had to put it back over the drain.

    The manager never checked on my experience in this second hotel room, so I did not have an opportunity to complain. I would also say the breakfast food is frozen and defrosted, rather than cooked fresh each day. You’ll see what I mean when they serve omelettes. On a positive note, the room had a powerful AC unit which kept me cool at night.

    Surprise, this bathroom was also not handicap accessible. The shower was walk-in style with a low lip and I moved the shower chair from previous room. However, there was not enough room in the shower for my companion to get in past the shower chair. In addition, the bathroom itself did not permit manuevering the wheelchair at all. My companion could go straight in to the toilet and that's it. Also, addit'l towels were a problem, not found by staff. To say that I am not used this hotel chain falling short like this is being kind. In addition, our keys did not work the second night and after going back and forth several times discovered that the check-in staff had processed the key cards for only one night when it should have been obvious we were booked for 5 nights! In deference to housekeeping we did not have service the first 3 nights and expected clean sheets after 3 nights. This did not happen.

    The bathroom was so dirty. The toilet bowl I don't have a name for. Customer service is -10. I called the front desk, the lady hanged up on me then I called 4 times she didn't pick up, I went downstairs she was looking at me like what.... I just went back upstairs. I didn't want any problem. I wish I could attach a pic of the toilet.

    Staff were courteous, and the room was large for two queen beds. It was in a good location, just a quarter of a mile away from I-95 and a mile away from a bunch of stores. However, they didn't replace the toilet paper (at all) after room service, so we had to ask for it a couple of times and had to go at the front desk to get it. They didn't replace the same number of towels after the room service either. The pool was also inaccessible, even though the front desk manager said it was open. I tried to open it with all my force, but couldn't open the pool gate. Yes, I could've broken the pool gate, but I don't want to do that, of course. The breakfast was meh. I barely eat anything; all I eat are scrambled eggs and sausages. Holiday Inn is my first choice wherever I go, but this one wasn't up to the level I am used to.

    The breakfast was fresh and the area was nice. The staff was cordial and friendly. The room was comfortable and safe. It needed a few things and replacements in fixtures and the shower leaked on the floor, warped the door and it needed replacing but it got the job done! The elevator was fast. We were thankful for a clean room.

    This was my second time using this hotel and each time there’s always something wrong. No batteries in the tv remote to not having enough keys. Only to go up to my room and the one key that was given to me doesn’t work. Plus they hold 150$ on your card and it doesn’t even release back to your bank for 3-5 days. All the while they tell you that it’s released as soon as you check out. Rooms aren’t worth the kind of hold.

    I booked through Expedia while traveling and and put my location in as Palm Coast. This hotel came up as the third option in the list. I am not familiar with the area and since it was the 3rd listed I didn’t even think to check it so I booked it. I mapped it and it was over 3 hours away from where I was and I was ready to stop for the night. I immediately contacted Expedia and the agent was extremely nice explaining that it was non refundable but would contact the hotel to see if they would accept the waiver and cancel the reservation. After 3 phone calls and no answer the agent raised an emergent issue for the team to continue to contact the hotel and I received a message the next morning that the hotel refused to cancel the reservation. I understand non refundable and it was totally on me for not checking and rechecking but did it really financially hurt this hotel to lose $158?? We travel A LOT and Holiday Inn Express will not be getting our business again! It’s a shame the almighty dollar is more important than forgiving an honest mistake!

    Breakfast service was disappointing. Although breakfast was advertised to start early, on Saturday only eggs were ready by 7:30 a.m., and the juice machine wasn’t working. In contrast, Sunday’s breakfast was fully stocked, showing Saturday’s limited options were not typical. I booked this hotel so my son could rest well and have a full breakfast before his sports tournament, but the maintenance issues, cleanliness concerns, and breakfast service failure made for a poor experience. I have photos and a video of the issues and respectfully will be requesting a refund for this stay.

    We came into town for a concert and to see some family. We got in super later after our car was damaged in the parking lot of the concert and no one stuck around or left info. To say it was a rough night is an understatement. Tara at the front desk was incredibly patient and helpful and made sure me, my significant other and our 4 children were well taken care of and could get a a good night sleep comfortably. We are extremely grateful for her kindness.

    The morning after checked in; I realized I slept with an open door. The door seems lock: but with a little push it opened. I called the front desk to report the finding. The manager came then moved us to room 331. Room 331 was worst ... the door also doesn't lock, and no dead bolt. So we had to move back to room 222 even though the door was not secured. And the TV did not work during the entire stay.

    Reserved a king bed suite. Nice sitting area along w the sleeping area. Very clean and well taken care of. The cleaning staff, and front desk gentleman were the best! Very helpful with anything you needed. Will stay here again! I do have 2 suggestions; need more shade in the pool area, either more umbrellas or a sun sail. Also, higher toilets. Lol. Shocked my 70 some year old body the first time I sat down.

    I usually don’t post reviews limited time, but I must say this was horrible, I booked this hotel for me and my workers and their room had about 6 small roaches running around the walls ceilings and floors I had to see it to believe it. I would not recommend I was fooled by the 8point review score. Most of all sadly property manager told my workers to remove their bad review or he will not refund.     I recently stayed at this location & had a horrible experience. The front desk staff was kind upon check in. I reserved a two queen bed room & when I opened the door to my room, my family & I noticed a strange smell, followed by a hat that must’ve been left by someone & garbage on the desk of the room as well garbage in the garbage can. This room obviously wasn’t clean. The front desk was kind in helping us move to a king bedroom with a couch sofa bed but this room had no extra pillows or sheets for my kids who were sleeping on the sofa bed. Again, my husband had to go back downstairs to speak with the staff & get the extra pillows & sheets. However, this time our room was clean. This hotel is also very easy to hear all kinds of noises. We could the lady next door to us on the phone yelling & cursing the whole day & around 6:00am we could here

    Wasn't able to check-in at 3pm check-in time because the available rooms did not have towels in them. Had to wait 15mins after to request to be checked in because room was still not ready and I had prior engagements planned so I was on a time limit.

    The customer service couldn't have been worse by the early morning front desk person and the guy who was preparing breakfast. Four people were trying to get something to eat coffee whatever before the 7:00 hour. And they were just horrible to us. It would not have hurt them at all to be a little more courteous and it put the cereal out early it was sitting 4 ft from the door. I had a meeting at 7:00 had to get out of there beforehand. I will be back in this area for similar meetings in the future and do you think I'll be staying here?

    The staff was very friendly. The hotel manager was very interested to know how my stay was going. My room was going through a renovation that was not completed: toilet seat falling off, leaky sink, shower stall requiring caulking. Over my 10 night stay, only once was there a breakfast menu change.

    Holiday Inns are usually fine, but this is the most ghetto one ive ever seen. Most of the Staff was uninterested in being there & I had to interrupt their cell phone conversations to get their attention. Room had a horrible smell, and bathroom sink didnt drain. No towels by the dinky pool. Neighborhood is sketchy. So glad we were only staying 1 night. Spend the extra $50 & stay somewhere nicer.

    Terrible staff rotation, there was never a manger on duty during the anfter and evening times until 7 or 8 am and employees on site were not able to assist me. Very unfortunate to pay in full for a stay and to wind up finding roaches in the bathroom.

    We have booked many hotels through this site with the pay later at hotel option, but we have NEVER had a hotel refuse to honor the rates outlined in the agreement (actually doubled the rates from the booking) and then refuse to even honor the second night without saying that we needed to contact Hotels.com for them to verify things, which we were told is actually not within their power. We couldn't even get a refund and move to a different hotel without being charged the upcharged prices. Do not book this hotel. They are unprofessional and outright crooks.

    Parking was difficult as the hotel had large storage containers taking up a great many parking spaces, yet the hotel did not adjust their room rental accordingly, this made for customer difficulty in parking when coming back from dinner late. Placing revenue over customer satisfaction is not always the best choice.

    We stayed there as we had stayed several times before. Did not feel real safe this time. Looked like there were people outside sitting around the building. And the elevators did not work and we were on the 3rd floor. People were not very happy that the elevators did not work until Monday. We were there on Saturday. Will not stay again.

    The room was ok. The elevator was out of order for the length of our stay. We had to carry our 50lb bag up 3 flights of stairs. Parking was extremely limited our first night; not helped by a large number of spaces being taken by multiple huge storage containers. Our room was clean but little effort was made even with a tip. We were there for a family funeral and all we wanted was simple place to stay without any issues. This location didn’t quite meet that goal for our brief two night stay.

    Didn’t get a chance to stay. The door didn’t lock on my first room. They gave me another room that the key card didn’t work to that door. Front desk guy was never at the desk had to wait 5 mins for him to return. No one offered to help so I asked for a refund. All of this took about 45 mins starting with check in.

    When we arrived and got up the the room we were treated with a pile of yellow and brown towels as well as paper bags full of trash and alcohol cans from the neighboring room. This was not something you want to be greeted with after a long drive. We walked into our SMOKE FREE room to a very strong cigarette smell as well as a strong marijuana smell. It was late at night when we arrived, so we went to sleep to deal with it in the morning. The next day comes and we go down to the front desk after seeing the towels have not been removed, however the bags of trash had been, to bring up our main concern. The cigarette smell as I have a smoke allergy. The woman at the front desk told us “you are leaving tomorrow as are the occupants of the room next to you. there’s nothing I can do.” Not what I was hoping for. Both rooms have a no smoking sign outside the doors. We were kept up the entire night on 11/13 into 11/14 due to the neighboring occupants fighting the entire night. Screaming and yelling, Banging on their door to get back in and slamming the door to leave in anger. I’m sure this was an issue with the occupants but the lack of care that the staff had for our concerns is what ruined the stay. Our last concern was the Roach we found crawling around in the bed. NASTY. If you are going to stay and want a friendly helpful staff for any concern may arise I recommend looking at other hotels in the area as this one is not the one.

    It’s a lovely place. I love the room, and the staff is fantastic, everything feels really nice here. My only issue is the location… it’s right off a very busy highway. While noise isn’t a problem, it’s not the most convenient spot for quick trips to grab food or visit the mall.
