    That being said, the hotel staff was very nice, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The manager was also kind enough to reimburse 2 of our 4 nights, which we truly appreciated. I just wish Hilton would invest in updating this property because it definitely needs renovations and better upkeep.

    Very nice but they didn’t take the trash out or make up the bed’s. The sockets, didn’t work on the lamp so my phone was across the room at night. however they did leave a clean bathroom with fresh towels. I stayed two nights.

    * PROS: - Clean room and comfy bed. - Great restaurant and bar staff. Great drinks and music and tasty food. Very sweet waitress, bartender and DJ. *CONS: - Very indifferent and a bit rude gentleman at the front desk. He was not nice at all and seemed annoyed to have to assist us. - Very dirty and cloudy pool - No pool towels available and rude gentleman at the front desk said he would send additional towels but never did and never even apologized when we saw us 40 minutes later, walking dripping wet through the lobby post-swim. Smh - Horrible elevator tile work. Caulk and broken tile pieces looked terrible. Overall, the room and the restaurant/bar were the saving grace.. because of that, we MAY visit again in the future.

    Adrian at the front desk made our stay great right away before we even checked in. His kindness gave me confidence that we chose the right hotel . Every staff member we interacted with was always helpful and greeted us with a smile. The decor looked great Front desk fresh baked cookies were very tasty. Really enjoyed my stay. The elevators broke down and we were on the fourth floor . Waffles for a breakfast option would have been great but overall nice hotel.

    Decent price for the area but not at Hilton standards at all. Facilities not maintained, to include the lobby and elevators, and it just adds to the feel of an old hotel. The bathroom was crusty, drywall tape hanging from the ceiling, wires hanging from the AC unit. Staff was nice, the building just needs some TLC.

    Hotel is okay but is definitely trying to be luxury when it really isn’t. Charging a deposit of the same price of the room per night is very had to be okay with. Details matter when trying to be a higher end hotel and lots of trim is messed up all around you. Elevator is falling apart. Pool towels extremely small and scratchy.

    The rooms are renovated. They have no carpet on the floors now. So when your searching for a great room or place to stay you expect things to look the same as what your looking at. So I think you should show the rooms as they are. Overall it was a good place to stay. But for house keeping they need to announce their selves when at the door or coming inside a room. I order a set of towels and wash clothes. They knocked on the door lightly and placed the towels on the door handle. And before that they open the door with the locking handle on the door and could not get in while we was in the room but left the door open and did not shut the door all the way. ANNOUNCE YOURSELF..

    Location and parking TV remote was first missing then found on floor under TV table by wall. It never worked right even after changing batteries. Makeup mirror light did not work correctly and had a huge crack in it. Worst was the AC heat system. Either freezing or hot and it did not regulate itself.

    A lovely touch was the warm chocolate chip cookie on arrival — a small gesture that really made us feel welcome after hours on the road. The amenities were good and the location worked well for accessing Washington DC. Overall a solid choice for families visiting the DC area. Would recommend!

    The management team was horrible. My grandson and i played in the pool ( which was dirty ) with a nerf football alll afternoon with no problems. We attempted to go back around 6pm with the same nerf football and we were told that it wasnt allowed....there was no signs specifically addressing this issue. I spoke to the GM as well and he was worthless....he was in such a hurry to leave the property that he didnt even give me a good reason that a ball couldnt be tossed in the pool. He pointed to a sign that he thought would back him up but of course it didnt......poor management....the worst Doubletree i ever stayed at. The property was old and dirty

    It has become one of my favorite places to stay for business over the past few months. The good news is that they’re renovating, so the rooms now look modern with wood floors and removed popcorn ceilings. The bathroom is also slightly newer. I was pleased with the refresh. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff is consistently pleasant. This was the first time I was able to try the breakfast; it was just so-so. The options were okay, but I wasn’t thrilled. I will say I wasn’t crazy about this stay due to the noise from some other guests on the 6th floor. On the first night, it seemed like kids were running all over the floor, knocking on doors late into 2 am., waking me up twice. The second day, it felt like I could hear someone two doors down from me shouting on the phone. I’m not sure if it’s because of less insulation or what with the removal of the carpeting. Lastly, there was no glass door on the shower—just a makeshift shower curtain—and the water pressure was low with lukewarm water, which I’m assuming is due to renovations (giving BOD). Not my favorite stay this time, but overall, it’s better than some other hotels in the area for business travel. Hopefully, next month will be better. Also, I appreciate them letting me check in early.

    The hotel was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were phenomenal and friendly. There was one young lady who went out of her way for us while we were there. She was so professional, kind and extremely helpful. The food in the restaurant was very good. I definitely recommend Double Tree Hotel and I will be going back again.

    Could’ve been cleaner. There were roaches in my bathroom and I emailed the hotel about it and sent them pics/videos and they basically said oh well and that the rooms are pre-checked prior to check in. So they not doing anything about it. I also seen a big ass rat roaming on the restaurant patio which was below my room and I looked out the window and seen it. They’re trying to deny that as well. Will never stay here again

    The room was very nice. The building was having some renovations done, but it wasn't a hindrance to me. The only reason that I can't give this a "5*" rating was because I wasn't there long enough to partake of any of the amenities. I had no interaction with any staff. I was there for less than 12 hours. Just enough time to get some rest before heading back on the road. Can't rate what I didn't experience

    Furniture in rooms are old and scratch. Lobby is not appealing. Floors are not vacuum. Dining, lobby and bar area furniture are torn and stained and need dusting on light fixtures. Need tie back holders in rooms for curtains since the heaters are right by the curtains. Pool smelled like chlorine. Food was good for breakfast. Need to clean serving items. Finger prints all over. Construction in the lobby and not covered for dust and debris Over all I will stay there again.

    Also called for drinks at 9:58 pm… was transferred to the kitchen. They did not pick up. Was put on hold and told they would come back and take my order. Several minutes later was told the kitchen was closed and sorry but I would need to come downstairs to the lobby if I wanted something to drink. Went for breakfast and was telling the hostess or woman managing breakfast that they were in need of more coffee as it had run out… she said nothing in reply. Just looked at me then nodded as if to say “whatever”. When I said it again and looked for an answer she sai “fine”. I said “I’m sorry” as if to say what does that mean. She replied “Okay” with an attitude. The boys had a wonderful time. Kids are resilient. Also the cleaning staff was amazing. The decor is old but the cleanliness makes the space tolerable. I would not book again at this location. Customer service should be improved upon. I expected a Hilton experience but was met with minimal standards being offered. I have visited Hilton’s in Silver Spring, MD and received remarkable service. This visit was disappointing to say the least.

    Pros: The staff brown skinned girl that checked us in was very nice. The hotel had adequate heat and coolness in the room, which was a positive coming from a previous hotel without any airflow in the room and extremely stuffy). The decor was very nice upon entering hotel lobby. Christmas aesthetics was nicely done. Housekeepers were also nice and polite. Cons: The hotel could use some detailed and super cleaning like bathroom shower head, vents, carpet etc. My thick comforter, I had to ask housekeeping to put a clean one on my bed, which she done with no problem, because the other one had stains on it. I told check in I was an Hilton member but they didn’t honor it because I was through an 3rd party but still didn’t offer complementary water that I usually get. Also, they ran out of complementary coffee, ice maker didn’t work on 5th floor. The fire alarm came on at 6:30-7 am on the morning on Sat causing us to have to jump up and run down 5 flight of stairs to the outside in the cold in our pajamas. The fire department never showed and when we went back inside there was no one to tell us to come back and that it was a false alarm.

    We were in town for the Commanders game. We had hoped it was an easy walk being only 1 mile away, but it was only 1 mile by air. It was almost an hour walk and the stadium traffic was crazy with the exit off of the highway backed up for hours coming in. I would stay here again for a Commanders game, but would make arrangements for a shuttle or something

    Staff was very accommodating. My husband had surgery allowed us to check in early. Placed us in a room that was close to an elevator so he did not have to walk far. We are very thankful. We would recommend this hotel to everyone.

    The hotel lobby was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. I didn’t notice until I layed down on the bed there was yellow stain on the bedsheets. The hotel is in a quiet area, they offered a shuttle to the football game for $30 round trip but uber was cheaper. What made my stay great was the friendliness of the staff and the warm cookies they give out for free at the front desk.

    The hotel staff was very helpful when I arrived, upon entering my room I noticed my bathroom wasn’t cleaned. The young man at the desk was not helpful at all even lied and said no more rooms were available, which was not true. The manager was called and she immediately apologized switched me into a better room, gave us free breakfast and free drinks at the bar. She was excellent even checked on us later. Overall my stay was very good. The hotel is tucked away which made it quiet and peaceful. It’s located close to restaurants and shops. And, the warm cookies at arrival were delicious. I definitely would stay here again.

    Check in experience was horrible. I asked for early check in which they didnt do, then i kept asking if it was ready and she kept saying no. So i left to get coffee.     Comfy beds. Ac didn’t work in our room. Fire alarm went off at check and we evacuated. One elevator didn’t work the other stopped working after dinner and we had to take the stairs. No toilet paper in the lobby bathroom and only 1 of the three sink faucets worked. The breakfast bar opened 5 minutes late which doesn’t seem like a big deal but everything was ready and the lady saw all of the soccer players standing there and she refused to open it so we could literally grab a couple things and go to get to our game on time (the reason we stayed the night there). We were late to our game because of this. The mirror in our bathroom was broken and should be replaced. The grout in the shower was moldy. They wouldn’t allow us to have any drinks in the pool area not even our yeti’s with water or a water bottle. Other than that our beds were very comfortable. Won’t be staying there ever again. Btw the restaurant we ate dinner that night and it was good.

    The hotel staff is very nice. My room was very clean. The food in the restaurant is good, but not great. I was more than satisfied with the food service. It's a quiet place convenient to restaurants and shopping. My only dissatisfaction was with breakfast hours. I scanned the QR code on the TV. It advertised breakfast until 11am. They actually stop service at 9:30am. Otherwise, all was good.

    The Largo Doubletree Hotel by Hilton was a pleasant venue. There was a mix-up with my reservation that was made resolute by the Manager on duty, Ms. Nordia. The entire hotel staff was courteous, kind, professional and helpful. The room colors and accommodations were tasteful. The dining room options for breakfast and lunch/dinner were great choices and enjoyable. The short summer getaway at this location was a good experience.

    This hotel is not up to a Hilton Double Tree standard. There was broken glass throughout areas in the parking lot. And a Saturday night party in the parking lot involving 3 cars, and about 15 people. An unsavory sight to see coming in with my young children and 80 year old mother in law at 10pm. Then to top it off housekeeping only made one bed in a very shabby way and left the other bed in complete disarray. In addition to leaving the garbage overlowing fron the small garbage cans provided. Oh! Let me not forget to mention that the hallway was swarming withabot 20 to 30 teenagers on at large group trip from Italy making loud noises while we were trying to sleep. I called the front desk to relay of my concerns and was met with an apology each time.This place has pronably seen beetter days. Stay elsewhere if you have the option to. How could I forget to mention the two baby roaches that we found in our bathroom immediately after check in along with the broken mirror with the jagged edge. The staff gave me another room that was suitable.FYI rooms are small

    The property was conveniently located, however there was not adequate parking for paying guests. Two nights our of my three night stay there were events going on at the Doubletree and the sister property next door and both nights there was NO parking for paying guests. The second night I drove around for 20 minutes looking for parking before I finally had to park illegally. When I spoke to the desk agent, he informed me that he sister property had a large event and the parking was utilized but if I could WAIT for an hour or so, they told them their guests had to begin moving out. Also, the pool was disgusting; dirty with visible hair floating in the water. My grandkids were looking forward to swimming, but the pool was so dirty they couldn't. Additionally the restaurant ran out of breakfast both Saturday and Sunday morning. I will not stay at this property again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

    The room I was assigned needed update due to the dated and poor condition of the furniture. I tried to meet with manager but was told by the front desk staff that he was in a meeting. I provided my phone number on Monday and have not received a call. Only one elevator was working on the first day arrival with a full occupancy. I was very disappointed with the service and lodging. I will never return to that hotel in the future. The furniture looked like a dog chewed on it.

    The rooms are small. Front Desk is nice and friendly but the Breakfast Staff are very rude and unorganized. When they open the Breakfast in the morning, half of the things are missing and empty. have to constantly ask for stuff like bread, coffee, etc. and wait for it to arrive. Staff needs to be better trained at arranging stuff before opening the breakfast to the guests.

    On a cold and dreary day we arrived to the room and the ac was on high and took forever to warm up. Poor lighting, the desk lamp didn’t work not like that would have helped the situation, the room was dirty, the tv wouldn’t turn on and when I called the front desk a few times no one answered the phone. Lastly the tub was slick for some unknown reason and I fell and still in pain. I was very disappointed with this particular DoubleTree.

    I loved that they had a microwave in the room. It was clean and updated. There were minor maintenance issues that could be an easy fix, like one of the lights in the bathroom being out, but other than that it was a nice stay. And OMG the pillows were so comfortable!     Booked hotel for kids soccer tournament weekend … lots of kids, front desk staff rude to kids, closed pool multiple times to keep kids out of it because they ‘are sick of them’. Other than a circular sofa in lobby by desk there is no where to sit other than rooms. They have a restaurant with seating but would not let us sit with kids to eat post game dinner before bed. Had a conference room that was ‘booked’ but yet no one was in it so finally let us go in there. Staff was rude, annoyed, restaurant staff and hotel staff telling everyone different things.

    The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. There was one problem. I was paying for 4 rooms. The 1st couple was also charged for their room.     We stayed overnight after the Sunday night Commanders game 12/29. The hotel was a convenient drive to the stadium, and our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff we encountered were unhelpful. We asked at the front desk what time breakfast was served, as we came in late after the game. We were told it was served until 10:00am. When we arrived for breakfast at 9:30am, we were told (rudely) that breakfast was over. There were not even cups out for coffee. It was a disappointing ending to our stay.

    When i entered my room the heat was on full blast and it was unbeatable. The fridge was missing racks for drinks. The staff was very nice.

    Staff was nice. Breakfast buffet was overpriced, definitely skip it. Looking at my bank statement they charged me twice for my stay and breakfast, so watch out for that. I'll be contacting them to get that fixed. There is a Chick FIL A just a minute or two away, which was nice when we needed something quick.

    The room was clean but had a lot of damage to it TV had spots in it the Fridge dresser was broken which made everything fall out of the fridge. Ice machines didn’t work on two of the floors I checked

    Loved that the hotel allowed us to check in very late and they still had warm cookies for us. The location was amazing. Groceries stores, shopping and restaurants all within 5 min radius. Room was clean. Staff was great. Loved having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The only thing was that the ice machine didn’t work on the 3rd floor. Overall amazing hotel would stay again.
