Ah, got it! Let me continue from there. So, they had a room that smelled too much like cigarette smoke, and they didn’t have another one to give me and my son. I tried to request a refund because of this, and they couldn’t help me. The hotel manager said he could process the refund, but he never gave me a response. They say he never replied to the hotel about my refund. Small cigarette

I booked a room with two double beds to adult and on my way there I receive a phone call from one of the staff to tell me that they did not have that room. It was already taken, and the only thing we could get was a room with a king size bed which really did not work for us because my husband has disabilities and has to be propped up and have a lot of pillows and stuff in order for him to sleep so the bad accommodations were not good neither one of us slept hardly at all that night. It wasn’t good.

Breakfast is only snack like bars, tiny muffins and coffee. There was 4 of us in one room and they only gave us 2 towels and very limited toiletries

Definitely need more breakfast options besides the same cheap muffins and granola bars everyday.

Breakfast options consisted of 4 tiny, plastic wrapped muffins, and 3 small granola bars. The place had seen better days, including bugs in our bathroom and generally run down. Lots of car noise outside the door at night. Would not stay again.

Outside of that, I had no issue with the people I interacted with. Being more pleasant wouldn't be a bad idea though. Being on the less expensive side is no excuse for lack of pleasantries.

Quiet and clean space but u will hear the cars going by. U must have cash to use the vending machines. Or there's a 7 eleven not so far away. Nice price. Small deposit needed. Free muffins and coffee served in the morning. Not a full free breakfast offered like the a Hampton hotel. Satisfied.

Perfect for our overnight trip to Merriweather post Pavilion for a Dark Star show! Price was reasonable and stores/restaurants were close.

After reading positive reviews that lead me to book, we are very disheartened. We were on a rare date night out that was cut short. Disappointing.

Im pregnant so for me the issue was the matress it was hard as a rock

Pros: 1) The price was right for a short-term stay close to the city and the highway. 2) Easy check in, no fuss. 3) Was able to use credit card to get a bunch of points from the purchase. 4) Hot water worked really well Cons: 1) The breakfast is granola bars and cheap muffins but it's to be expected. 2) Random furniture and things in the hallway areas. Overall: I would stay here again, especially if I only really need the room to sleep and shower. Pro tip: Ask for a second room floor on the back side of the road so there is less traffic noise.

It was decent pace to stay. It is on a very busy road, but it felt safe. We did not hear traffic at night. It was close enough to Merriweather Post Pavillion.

It was a nice room, clean and neat. We came in later than we expected and the staff was quick and efficient so we could get settled in quickly. The only down side was that breakfast consisted of mini muffins, granola bars and coffee in the office.

Extremely dirty, toilet, shower, sinks, microwave &pillows had stains and smut on them… the floors were even sticky.. I literally had to clean the entire room and there was dirt on every wipe I used

The manager treats guest like trash, no matter if you are paying your money they have no compassion and treat you disrespectfully according to your appearance I would not recommend this hotel to noone and will never return here in my lifetime

I like the hotel the breakfast area could been alot better the area was very very small could not sit down while people coming in to booked there rooms stand up only didike that.

There were plenty of places to eat nearby, and the neighborhood was quiet and surrounded by trees.

Facility was in disarray. Trash bags lying out, fixing an air conditioning unit on the balcony and dripping water below. "Breakfast" was an inch of old coffee and a few packages of highly processed convenience foods. Powdered coffee lightener. Rooms were reasonably clean except for the corners in the bathroom.

It's actually an alright spot if you aren't looking to be impressed by anything other than being cheap, allowing dogs (with a deposit and a small fee), and being in a good location. I doesn't seem like the best part of town, but it's right by the highway, the grocery store, and several restaurants. However, the place needs a little maintenance and a little more soap here and there. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only reason I give 3 stars is because it had a little dirt and ancient caulk

A better choice was several hundred dollars more on our visit to Columbia during or trip. I don’t think I’ll return here again to stay in laurel. We did witness a crash in front of the car wash across the street from us. Some trees along the road between the hotel would help with noise. That’s the big problem. The room was what is the norm or expected on older road motels

The linens were not washed properly, and there were no duvets provided. The water pressure was terrible, making it impossible to take a proper shower. The toiletries were of poor quality. Despite the package including breakfast, only a muffin and coffee were provided at the front desk, which was disappointing. Additionally, I was appalled to find human hair on the linens, which was unacceptable. I will definitely NOT go there again!

Older kind of run down motel. Check in was OK. Sink and bathroom were clean. Towels were clean. Sheets looked clean but there were burn marks on the cover. Good tv. Beds were ok. Food nearby. It was a little loud because its right on the highway. And they have mice. We could hear them squeaking by the refrigerater at night and it smelled like pee. We didnt smell it at first but later when i went to get a soda out of it thats when i smelled it. We threw our leftover Wendys in the trash.That room was $80 ! If you are paying that much for a room it should not be mice and it should not smell like pee. We left the next day. Do not stay here.

I didn't like that there was a surprise deposit charge of $20.00. The charge wasn't listed on the website so that you could be prepared for it.

The room was so stuffy and had bad smell. My kids found it so unnice. It seems the room had been unused for a long time. My kids jumped out of bed because a spider was in the bed. There was also no complimentary breakfast

the first room we were given had a stopped up toilet and bathroom floor was wet and dirty. Also, right outside the door was food and trash on the walkway. The second room we were given had a wet bathroom floor and the rest of the floors were dirty (thank god it wasn't carpeted. The THIRD room was the best but far from anything good. We wiped down all surfaces we would be touching. And there were not enough towels in the room and we had to return 2 times to the office for towels (1st time they weren't ready) and we had to get more coffee for the room

The staff is great ! Very professional, very friendly, very considerate. Rooms are basic, but very clean, TV is good, and good local and cable channel selection. Close to 7-11, food, shopping. 10 min from movies, roller skating up the road, indoor go-kart racing across the way, super walmart around the corner. 25 min from casino, 40 from DC, 20 from Merriweather. I recommend them highly, especially if you are on a budget. They have good long-term rates, too. Extra bonus: Girl Scout cookies during the season !

Good value with a fridge that had a real freezer and not just a compartment. The bed was comfortable but the floor was worn. The hotel was close to a nice shopping center and historic Savage Mill but the immediate area was run-down.

I stood at the front desk for OVER AN HOUR while the front desk tried unsuccessfully to get Expedia to sent my paid reservation in an online fashion. Back and forth as I STOOD waiting. Finally I asked them to cancel my charge and credit my account so I could register for the room directly. It was now after midnight and I was exhausted!

This was the worst cheap hotel I’ve stayed at so far. It was totally uncomfortable, it was spider webs in each crack of the wall the shower pressure was low it was freezing when I first steped in the room it took it like 2 hours to heat up after that the temperature was fine. Luckily there were no bugs! The room had a funny smell. I usually stay at the red roof but I wanted to try a different cheap motel next time I’m picking the red roof.

Stay was great..Staff was awesome!!! Any requests for the room..such as more towels or upon arrival felt the bed wasn't tidy..it was attended to right away. Housekeeper came promptly and opened up a new package of sheets and went over the room again...Every day of my stay I was met with a smile and asked if all was well. The breakfast was great as well to grab on the way to work....My visit was over a week ..I was TRULY IMPRESSED .. and would use this Econo Lodge again and AGAIN!

As i pull up to the hotel im like oh ok. Not to bad its decent. When i go to check in the staff was bery polite and friendly. He was very helpful and very attentive. I booked a room with double beds on website but he offered is a king size bed instead he said that it was same price. I was feeling bad and was in pain so i believe that is the reason he offered because the other room was upstairs.
