Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Laurel Near Fort Meade

I was staying there to be close to a local music festival. When we showed up around 12:30 to check in no one was at the desk and there were 8 other people waiting to check in. After about 20 minutes I ended up calling the corporate customer service line and they were about to book us in a different hotel when someone wandered in to work the desk. No apology, no explanation, just started checking people in. To put it simply, the customer service was atrocious. Then once we got into the room there was a horrible rumbling noise that sounded like someone was doing construction on the roof above us. We managed to sleep through it because we were so tired, but it still added to the frustration of the night. The curtains in the room were in bad shape so the sun woke us up earlier than we wanted. At least the lights worked and the water ran.

Awful place to stay unless you enjoy getting keys to 2 already occupied rooms then finally getting a room with stained sheets, a dirty fridge with previous occupants stuff still in it and random socks left on the floor.

The location was close to where I had to be. The evening desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. There were black spots in the tub that I could just wipe away. Kind of like tiny dead bugs. I'm not sure what it was. There was no refrigerator. I have medicine that I need to keep cold. The daytime clerk seemed apathetic. All of my chargers (including my oxygen) failed to stay in most of the outlets. Even the things plug in from the hotel failed to stay. So I had to unplug a lamp so I could have an outlet where my cord would stay connected.

I never stayed. The staff was very helpful with canceling the reservation after I READ the reviews. how others felt unsafe and how it felt like a homeless shelter. I could not take chances with mine nor my families lives. I paid a few bucks more for safety and comfort.

This property is in serious need of modernization. Although it has plenty of amenities, most of the equipment is significantly worn out. The windows cannot be opened, and there is a bad smell in the room. Worse, the air conditioning stinks! On the bright side, the bathroom is clean, and there are plenty of power outlets. :)

The room was on max cool but it was too warm to be comfortable sleeping. After the first night we told the desk. She said she would have maintenance look at it. We were gone all day and when we got back at 11 pm the room was still too warm. Our stay was not pleasant

Upon entering the lobby, it appeared shabby and musty smelling. Reception staff offered no greeting and attitude. In the room, the TV remote didn't work, room was not very clean, coffee pot did not fit the size of the coffee maker, and the shower curtain rod was not installed properly. Breakfast was left unattended so there was no food and no coffee left.

Only the staff 3pm to 11pm is good the rest very rude and mean especially the lady in the morning very very rude. Room is not clean, saying every day housekeeping but for staying 4 nights room never clean trash never take out no soap , no fresh towel and the coffee in the room is good for one night even the shampoo and a little soap . Poor management breakfast very poor we never never toke breakfast in that hotel saying free breakfast but it’s to poor. I will not recommend the hotel and we will never never coming back.

The bed was extremely comfortable. Mattress was very supportive yet not hard. The bathroom was very clean Breakfast consisted of Dry Cereal, donuts and muffins. That's not breakfast. Second, and most importantly, the property was very noisy. I was driving from Pennsylvania to Florida and my stop at this hotel was very specifically to rest from the drive and to sleep well for my continued trip. I made noise complaints about the room next to me at midnight and 1:00 a.m. I then had to make more noise complaints about the room next to me at 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.. every time I encountered a staff member I expressed my issue and complaints originate from a requirements to sleep to continue my trip. Being woken up at midnight and then again at 6:00 a.m. was effectively dangerous for me because sleepy driving is drunk driving and I would have been sleepy driving given the amount of rest I got at the hotel. My concern as a Hospitality professional, was not once was I offered to have my room changed and all four times was simply told that the manager would come down and talk to the person in the room next to me. I was not offered a discount because of the noise or lack of sleep. I was simply offered to check out an hour later than usual.

The issues continued throughout my stay. On the second day, I noticed an accumulation of trash left directly in front of the elevators. Furthermore, I was approached in the parking lot by an individual attempting to sell personal hygiene products from their vehicle, which made me feel quite unsafe. On my final morning, I was again woken up at 7:00 AM by another loud physical altercation between guests. Due to the lack of security, peace, and functional amenities, I will not be returning to this establishment. I believe it is important to bring these serious lapses in service and safety to your attention. I would appreciate your comments on how these matters will be addressed for your future guest.

The bathroom was dirty finger prints alle over the light switch, hair in the bath tub…..the closet door were broken mattresses were bumpy and old. I payed 90$ I stayed in the days inn in St Augustine the night before at 67$ that was very clean and nice with good mattresses.Big difference same company!

It was filthy the elevator was broken the electric went out the heat was off for the shower ! Too much to list. The room was uncomfortable and dirty. When we checked out first thing in the morning after the first night, I reported that to booking.com to get a refund and the hotel lied saying we were still there at the hotel even though we had driven all the way back to Roanoke VA by then.

Location was good for our weekend plans. I chose this hotel for our family because of the 2 beds and sofa bed (picture showed this suite with these items and some extra space) Entered room with 2 beds and a chair. Stained towels! When asking for new towels, toilet paper and to fix our door keys they acted like we were a bother.

The front desk ladies were so rude and unprofessional. Our room smelled stale and there was a huge bodily fluid stain on the mattress. The shower had no curtain. The lady at the desk brought one and I had to put it up myself. Was also told there were no more towels. A room for 5 people only had 3 towels. You had men hanging out outside the doors smoking iykwim. The property outside was disgusting. The area was very run down and nasty. Definitely not somewhere you want to stay with children. I did not stay at your hotel. I arrived around midnight on the 14th and there was no power at the hotel. So, I could not receive my room. After waiting for over an hour, I had to find lodging at another hotel. I have requested a refund from hotels.com and Days Inn, but I was denied a refund by both. I intend to write to the CEO’s of both to report this mal-treatment.

Room cards definitely needs to be improved because I was not able get in my room 3 times and had to fix it 3 times.

I reported the problem immediately, but the situation was not handled with urgency. An employee named Joey was dismissive and unprofessional when addressing my concerns. I also requested the name of the General Manager for documentation purposes and was told it could not be provided, which I found concerning. My refund request was later refused despite the clear sanitation issue. Travelers should be aware of the cleanliness standards and how complaints are handled before booking here.

No house keeping during the whole length of stay. Instead of holding for incidentals they have charged my credit card with $100. I will have wait for few days to get that back. Unlike mentioned there wasn’t any breakfast in the mornings. They provide coffee only with request for muffins. Extremely poor management!

There is no real breakfast—only weak, watery coffee and a single muffin that you have to request from the front desk because it’s kept behind the counter. There’s even a sign for a “breakfast room,” yet no breakfast room exists. Just a small table in the hallway. Overall, the conditions were unacceptable and not worth the stay.

This hotel is very dodgy, not clean, no breakfast included, a to-go muffin is available, there was no soap, shampoo, body wash, nothing in the room, the entire room smellsles of urine and the area overall seems old, dirty and feels very unsafe. The bed creaks and is uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel especially for single, female travelers.

My stay began poorly due to a booking miscommunication between the hotel and its partner site, which left me waiting nearly 40 minutes before check‑in. The first room was unacceptable: the bed was defective, the temperature was uncomfortably cold, the bathroom lacked soap, and the parking lot was icy, dark, and unsafe. Basic amenities such as a microwave and refrigerator were missing. Fortunately, Robin at the front desk provided outstanding service. She upgraded me to a suite, ensured I had proper amenities, and even supplied dining essentials. Her professionalism and kindness salvaged the experience. Summary: While the property requires significant improvements in communication, maintenance, and guest readiness, Robin’s exceptional service prevented this from being a one‑star stay.

Additionally, there was a high-pitched beep every 30 seconds coming from a smoke detector issue, and no action was taken even after I reported it. There was also no full, proper breakfast. Only one muffin was handed out by the reception, and a single juice jar was placed in the lobby as the “breakfast” offering. On top of that, I was required to pay a $100 security deposit during check-in, which was unexpected. Overall, I would not recommend this property.

I booked a 1-night stay 11/1/25 jacuzzi suite. Sole purpose was to utilize the jacuzzi. However, the jacuzzi jets were inoperable. I notified the front desk. Associate stated the manager was off but he will contact them to see what we can do. He never got back to me. I followed up and he stated he will be sure to get back to me. He never got back to me. I waited a few days then called back. I spoke to a front desk associate and brought them up to speed on the issue. They told me I would receive points for a 1-night stay. She stated she would have the manager add the points. A week or 2 goes by. I check my account and no points added. I called back to make the property aware and they told me to email the manager. I did so. Waited a few days and the manager never emailed me back. I gave another follow up call. Was able to reach the manager Jereah (who didn’t introduce herself) I had to ask her name and title. She stated that the jacuzzi was operable the staff member didn’t know how to turn it on. She stated that because I booked thru a third party I wouldn’t have gotten a refund back regardless even if I left the room. She stated 11/5 the staff member requested 1000 points to go to my account. Which isn’t enough for a 1-night stay that I was told I would receive. She said 1000 point covers the jacuzzi not working. Had I known it wasn’t working I wouldn’t have booked. My special occasion was ruined with no proper compensation. I will never stay at this property again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our room was a good size. Thought the couch would be a pull-out couch, but it wasn't. The area around the property just seemed like not the safest area. We did not experience any problems, though. The employee could not get the key card machine to work, so I waited about 10 minutes before he could finally get the machine to work to assign the key cards. However, one of them did not work still.

I was disappointed that the room had no refrigerator or microwave. I didn’t catch that at booking. Also I thought for sure there was free breakfast included, but I was disappointed again. The location and price were right for this short notice stay for the sake of family connections.

I was here for 2 hours and I couldn't take it anymore, I promptly checked out. I do not recommend that you stay here ever.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was helpful and allowed us to re-enter the room after we checked out because my mother left something in the room. Excellent stay. The only downside was the vending machine wasn't working, but the staff had put out a karraff with coffee as well as lemon/lime water.

I had a 2 king bed suite - room, which was spacious, and equipped with a small fridge, a microwave, a sofa bed, a small love seat, a desk with chairs, a coffee maker, iron & iron board, a safe, a hair dryer, tv with cable. There were ice machines in each floor, and a vending machine on the first floor. Note, there were stains visible on the chairs, curtains, and carpets. The room, including the carpet, were however cleaned. The beds and pillows were comfortable. There were coffee, tea, and lemonade provided by the hotel, but no breakfast (no complain). The location of the hotel is in a business district, mostly surrounded byany Mom & Pop car garages. Within 2 miles radius, you'll find restaurants like McDonalds, Wendy's, Papa John's Pizza, Pizza Hut, Ledo Pizza and pasta, a shopping mall, and a movie theater. Also, a super Walmart and Sam's Club are not too far away. The hotel is overall in a safe place. Overall, I'll grade this hotel a 6 out of 10.

Front desk staff was so helpful and kind. They printed out my tickets for an attraction tomorrow and let me know where to go to dine! Great staff!

They no longer serve breakfast. They have coffee and juice available and muffins behind the counter if you request one. The stairwell to the 2nd floored smelled like urine. Our 2nd room had a very sticky spot in the carpet between the door and the fridge. Both rooms we did not feel comfortable walking around with our shoes off. Also the key card door to the 1st floor was always unlocked. We had stayed here before which is why we chose to stay again and do not remember the hotels cleanliness being so bad. We will not stay again.

Smelled musty, had a breeder roach crawling on curtains and stained bedding.

Although I paid a $150 deposit when I booked my room in March 5, 2025, when I arrived June 6, I was told there was no record of my deposit. Even after showing my initial receipt and confirmation number, I was told the Hotel did not receive a deposit and to check with Expedia. I was then charged full price for the room plus a $100 security deposit. The property is very old and is in need of a serious renovation. Everything is old, broke and very dirty. I stayed here last year and the toilet was broke but we managed, this year was much worse. The floors, carpet, doors, walls, refrigerator, and bathroom had unrecognizable stains. I had to clean out the fridge before using it. The check in time is 4pm instead of 3pm, they no longer serve breakfast but stated there will be coffee and muffins. At 8am there was no more coffee in the 1 small pot for all the guests in the entire hotel. I then asked at the front desk, and was told he didn't know who made the coffee nor did he make an effort to find out. I will never stay here again and hope to get my $150 deposit back.

It was a terrible trip my reservation was cancelled I had to spend extra money I lost an 79 dollar room charge for a no show even though I called the property and hotels .com and explained my situation!!!

Room smelled like smoke. Continental breakfast was coffee, juice and picture outside the check-in desk. You had to ask for a muffin. On the second day, the person at the front desk decided to ask me if my dog was a service dog. Been there two days and finally. What she was. Very rude people at the desk.

Non helpful staff, breakfast supposed to be included and when we checked in they said no more breakfast , we asked to switch to anothet Days inn hotel in DC and also denied.

The stay was ok. Staff was unprofessional completely. My check in was annoying. I stood there waiting to get checked in. Nobody greeted me just stared at me for about 5-8 minutes before a lady FINALLY said “wait for (gave me a name that I forgot) because I have no idea how to check in”. My check out went well the guy that was there during check out was helpful

I get my key & walk to my room, I see 4-5 people standing outside in hoodies. Now I grew up in Baltimore City, but I damn sure dont want to see that outside of a hotel I'm staying. Absolute trash

There was no breakfast as advertised on the Expedia AND Days Inn corporate website. A muffin was offered. When looking to book a hotel, I specifically am looking for a stay that includes breakfast. VERY DISSAPPOINTING

When I made the booking it said breakfast available. Once I reached the hotel, there was no breakfast and it said they stopped the continental breakfast after March 1. They should display correct information on the website

On the pro side the room had plenty of space though the furnture was very worn.

The check in process was great and hostess friendly. While returning to our room we saw a roach on the night stand so we had our room switched to the second floor. Heres where the fun started. All night people were running in the hallway slamming doors and laughing. At 8am 2 guys were arguing so loud that it woke us up. One guy left after threatening to "come back with something". I have never left a hotel so fast in my life. The location was great, room was clean and had no smell as stated before. I would not recommended this hotel to anyone and I really wanted to like it. The breakfast was only a yogurt cup that I passed on as we left out.

The night clerk was very rude. There was no continental breakfast like advertised. Instead they had yogurt cups that were inaccessible because they were behind the check-in desk. Their was also homeless hanging out in the lobby.

The place is old and carpets are dirty and smells. They didn’t do any room service for the 4 days I stayed. Front desk staff in night leaves for long periods of time. Room key card don’t work all the time. Management needs to be involved in the everyday operation more as the customer service is next to nothing.

It was just okay

That was horrible! I have to be able to eat breakfast for purpose to take medicine. That’s a problem. Also the room was a suite ( the sofa) was broken and stains on the bed skirt. The property is in need of a repair/update on entire structure and the odor was terrible 😞

It was advertised with free breakfast when we book the room and when we arrived they said they have changed it .Customer wasn’t notified about any changes being done in their policy .If we knew we could have booked somewhere else .Free breakfast was described in the website and also in Expedia aswell.

This hotel is about what you would expect in PG County for 75 bucks a night basic amenities a fairly clean room, decent furnishings and decor, but the staff was absolutely hands-down the most rude and awful I have ever experienced. The lobby reeked of weed and the front desk staff was picking fights with customers. No manners or sense of customer service.

Two things to note. There is parking there BUT no breakfast. I don't know why that hotel information is incorrect. Our room was very clean.

I had a good stay. Staff members were good with excellent customer service. There was one Michelle and another lady who were very good at providing customer service. The total opposite of the last time I stayed at the came location about 4 months ago. I saw great improvement in customer service

the Days Inn & Suites (by Wyndham Laurel Near Fort Meade) Service Desk Women REFUSED to refund my $100 deposit. I cleaned room before departure. Service Desk Women DENIED television remote until I was checking out due to extremely BAD service.

Not bad but they need to change carpets and seat covers were dirty and also options for breakfast could be better. Parking was limited.
