Basic room. Somewhat dated. No water for coffee.

Decent and clean beds and pillows. White socks on hard wood floor in room were dirty from walking around. Mile smell of drains in room and corridor. Sausage meat at breakfast was disgusting. Cheap though and clean beds, good shower.

The room was a bit older than we were expecting. The bed though, was super comfortable. The hotel is a bit older, but we did not spend much time there other than to sleep. The breakfast was decent. The downside (which was fixable) was we only had 2 towels left in the room, the housekeeper forgot to take her dirty cleaning supplies with her, including her towels used to clean with so that was a little scary at first walking into the bathroom. I originally thought maybe there was someone staying in the room, and then we figured she had just forgotten her things. We put them on the floor under the bathroom counter so they were out of the way. Overall the stay was decent. Nothing fancy, no frills, just a place to sleep for us for a quick two day stay in the area.

Rooms are cleaned only on request. Even after cleaning the room hard fllor was sandy, sticky! Room was smelling very stuffy, kinda closed for ages. Parking lot was used by groups for food and drinks. Breakfast was okay. The biggest disappointment was they didn't have any dexent coffee, forget abt fresh brews! The coffee machine in room was not working good and even the coffee pods were horrible. Luckily there is a Starbucks next door. But overall good value for money. Very nice staff.

Hello … mostly everything is excellent… except for > initially i ask for top floor room because normally in an older property, you can hear the people above you , so it happens, i can hear every noise and footsteps above my room. Just because i didn’t get the upper floors. I stayed for 6 days … and also, breakfast menu are the same for the whole 6 days. Don’t get me wrong, everything else is good … Thank you

Breakfast menu was good, however was the same every day. Would recommend changing ways eggs were prepared, and adding bacon as an alternative to the sausage patties daily.

The hotel was clean and breakfast was amazing. We asked for adjacent rooms which we got, but like other hôtels we would have liked if an inside door communicated with our other Room. Instead we got a Room that communicated with strangers which could have been easily planed otherwise by the hotel.

We didn't see much staff. 4 nights, 5 days and no housekeeping was offered. Our trash piled up. The tv volume was touchy, and the air was loud, constant, so it made it hard to watch tv. Loud honking at 5:30 from a taxi and nobody did anything.

Breakfast was very good. Free parking was a plus. Essy access to local businesses.

This hotel is a great location, safe walking neighborhood, with plenty of great restaurants and shopping options. As well a basic stores like a CVS Pharmacy, Dollar Store, and other suppliers. Only 10min drive from LAX. and 15 minutes' drive from Manhattan Beach. The Rooms are nothing fancy, but they are specious and clean.

The service 10/10. The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was good. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Just wish the breakfast had more variety and more tables to sit down and eat at. After 2-3 days we got sick of scrambled eggs, waffles, and potatos.

They did not have the suite available I booked and had paid for. They put me in in a normal room which was not nice at all.

The laundry was down the entire trip. The hot tub was out of order the entire trip. The breakfast did not have any bacon the entire trip. The room was reasonably clean but the halls smelled like weed or dirty diapers.

When I checked in, the front desk staff member was very rude. He seemed easily irritated and came across as disrespectful without any reason. It felt like he didn’t enjoy his job, which made the experience uncomfortable.

There is no insulation from noise in the rooms. Both nights I slept poorly due to talking in the halls, people running overhead and noise of TV in adjacent room. Air conditioning in room was poor, relying on open window which faces parking lot with bright lights all night so can’t open curtains to allow air in. I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel was ok to stay for a quick trip. It was however really run down and old. The bathroom was not the cleanest and had to wipe it down a few times. The tiles on the floor were cracked as well. The beds were comfortable. The room was just dusty and didn’t feel too clean. The building had a strange smell when walking the halls. Breakfast choices were average. No complaints about the food.

Looks nothing like the pictures, sketchiest area ever, drug deal in the parking lot, pool and hot tub were disgusting , the doors didn’t touch the floor could fit my whole hand under. Windows were wide open when we got into the room. And when I requested a refund the kicked us out. Staff were horrible not friendly extremely rude and their housekeeping walking into our room without knocking do not stay here!

It's a great hotel on a budget. The location is amazing. It's close to starbucks to target and many other local stores. 15 min to the beach . Parking is available so that is a great advantage.

I had no issues with anything in particular. If I had to find something to complain about, it would be the parking lot, which is long and narrow, meaning you may need to park quite far relative to where your room is located.

Room floor was really dusty, and walls are paper thin. The next day i realized window was open so i closed it. After half a day the room start smelling bad and the smell went into my clothes also. When i was walking outside, i realized all windows are slightly open. They need to clean the floor rather then just keeping the window open. There was no water in the room which most hotel have at least one water bottle.

The staff was friendly throughout the stay, and check in was very seamless and fast. Rooms and the property were very clean and felt safe and secure. Location was walkable to food, coffee, and any essentials needed. Overall, I received a great price at a beautiful hotel which made for an exceptionally enjoyable stay.

It was a good one night stay. Have to be honest, was worried about noise when I checked in but it turned out to be a nice quiet evening. The room was clean and the shower water pressure was better than some high end hotels. I would stay here again.

Staff was great. Rooms was ok for the price. But, not sure about the people that stay there. Both nights at about 12:30 am, the people upstairs were super noisy. Must have thought they were 250 lbs plus. JC! Woke us both up. Then the person next to us had their tv on late as well. People out smoking and drinking outta bottles one night as well.

Didn’t try the breakfast. Very affordable. Would stay here again.

Café razonable o te. Lugar pequeño para desayunar pero no tuvimos problema para sentarnos. Ubicación cerca del aeropuerto y muchas tiendas a pocos kilometros, Target a pocas cuadras. Sector no residencial. Estacionamiento gratis en el lugar, muy conveniente. Nunca estuvo lleno. Eso si está lejos de las atracciones principales al menos 40 minutos. Piscina pequeña.

Could not check check in due to an issue with the water. Front desk was not very polite with explaining what was going on. Took a shower and the water was Luke warm. Pictures of the property didn’t look anything like it did in person. We were going on a cruise and decided to pay for parking at the hotel since it was cheaper. Only 60 dollars compared to 140 at the pier but when we got to the cruise port an Uber back would have been like 60 bucks so we decided to just park at the cruise port. I called to see about a refund and Allysa tells me no refunds. Why not I didn’t use your service for parking. They should be glad someone paid to stay there they need some serious updating.-

Hi, we had a nice stay at the South Bay Hotel. We were right on the road but the A/C unit drowned out the car noise. Breakfast was usual continental plus warm sausage, eggs, potatoes so that was good. Wish we would have had a room towards that back as it was a lot of walking back and forth to our room in the front. Most parking is towards the back. We used the hot tub one day and that was nice and warm. Not much for entertainment within walking distance though. Clean and comfortable room.

The cleaning staff was very courteous and always greeted with a smile. The bedroom and bathroom was clean. The room was very spacious. It came with a nice size mini fridge and microwave. I will most likely choose this hotel again. I hope they will consider more vegan breakfast options.

For breakfast I don’t really know I just put a 5 star. Only because I never got any. But everything else was good. Bed was comfortable in my opinion. Parking does get a little packed but there is usually a couple of spaces available. Overall I would recommend this hotel based off my experience.

Overall, it was ok. It was missing hand soap, conditioner and body wash in our bathroom. We also had to ask several times for extra towels to the front desk throughout the day and they weren’t delivered until we asked some staff walking through the hallway.

Nice room giant full size under counter refrigerator and microwave. Hot tub and pool were good. Breakfast was good. They need to fix the back door so it closes automatically.

The only thing I can remark on is that there was no body soap available. The maid was very apologetic, but said they had none and to use shampoo. Just thought that was a little strange.

Heaps of parking, area around hotel was safe. Heaps of dinner options and grocery store across the road. Walls are quite thin so we had a noisy person above our room. Free breakfast was great - cereal, toast, bagels, waffles, eggs and sausages/patties and seasoned potatoes.

Really enjoyed our stay there. Room was clean and comfortable. Location of hotel was well situated for our travel purposes. The only complaint was that we could hear our neighbors. (they were noisy at night) However this something the Hotel had any control over.

I did get woken up by the sound of a truck starting up and again by someone running a circular saw outside, so the windows seem to be thin compared to other hotels ive stayed in. Overall it wasnt terrible, I'll just give it time before i come back so hopefully they will repair and upgrade those issues i mentioned.

Property was ok, but the bath tub water was not hot, they told me that when i went down to the front desk, its because they turn it down as not to burn people when having a bath, so had the inconvenience of having to book another hotel for the last 13 nights of our holidays

Fairly convenient to transportation. The nearby Mariscos restaurant was great. Beds were OK and room size good. The noise coming from next door through the connecting door was horrible and little was done to get the neighbors to quiet down. Avoid these rooms at all cost unless you know the occupant next door. Also hall noise can be loud since there is no carpet. Staff had no idea how to erase voicemail left for previous occupant, so phone blinked constantly until we unplugged it. No staff at front desk at 4:30 am when neighbors decided to start playing their loud music and talking loudly again.

Hotel, room etc all good. But from first day (Sunday) internet was unstable. This continued on Monday and it interfered in my preparations for meetings in LA. I reported to front desk and was informed by Caesar they were aware and working on it. This continued and midday I cheeked again with reception. Still working on it. In afternoon still not working etc. etc. I informed the reception that if it didn't work properly when I returned from dinner that evening (Monday) I would leave Tuesday morning - 1 day earlier than booked. When I came back reception told me all fixed. On arrival in my room still cutting out several times per minute. I informed front desk and now he told me that maybe it was the room. Confirmed with him I would be leaving the next morning. Next morning I asked reception to give me a receipt confirming that I had been reporting the internet problems and he refused. In fact, his attitude became real poor and then accused me of being unruly. He also told me to deal with HOTELS.com for a refund for the prepaid night not going to be used. In short - the front desk staff really couldn't care less about the problem. BTW I have these internet outages recorded on video and pictures.

Room was decent we had a sliding door that was locked so unfortunately we couldn’t let any fresh air in. Room felt humid. Breakfast was decent only had eggs sausage and potatoes for the whole week I was there. Also had cereal,yogurt,bagels,toast,waffles. Overall decent hotel for the price.

I flew from Indiana to spend time with my daughter. I have to say that I was very satisfied with my stay. The beds were so comfortable. I loved the bedding! The shower was strong! Everything was clean. Everyone in the halls were friendly and helpful. I loved the breakfasts. My favorite were the potatoes and eggs. Everything was super clean. I will definitely be back!

A bit noise-sensitive rooms and loud AC. Overall good though

- Housekeeping unavailable after 5pm. - There are bus shuttles but do not offer free airport services - No bathrobe available for outdoor swimming pool - Find another hotel if you have a child that is still potty training as the staff is unhelpful in this circumstances - Loses hot water when showering

Pros: - No room service so didn't have to be bothered someone entering the room every day - Area looks safe though we didn't spend much time outside and there is a building next to the establishment that looked sketchy. - Plenty of free parking and we saw security making the rounds at night - Has some food places on a walking / short driving distance . Made Burgers place was good and you can just walk to it. - Beds were reasonably comfortable (though could be better) - Free breakfast all the way to 10 am Cons: - Worst shower I've ever had in a hotel. Water can go from scalding hot to freezing cold in a second and you spend most of the shower time tinkering with the knob - Room keys kept getting deactivated. Not great when you're back at 11pm tired after a full day. - Towels and sheets were clean but seemed old or not bleached enough - The breakfast was so and so - Their machine coffee didn't taste great or fresh - Ask for a parking lot view. The other side was next to a weird building that looked like a motel. We heard a bunch of screams and loud laughs coming out of it not sure what it was. We asked to change. - The AC didn't work. Had a great stay, staff was professional, room was clean. Good area of town, plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. Breakfast was hot and decent options every morning. Only negative was some guys hanging out in the parking lot late at night, and then more guys came to join them and hangout. I didn’t feel safe going down to my car to get the bottled water I had purchased. People should be moved along by staff or security and not be allowed to hangout in parking lot for long periods of time.

The property was great and we enjoyed our stay. However, the A/C in our room was very loud and the A/C in the gym was broken.

We stayed for 1 night. The beds were super comfortable, room was clean and so was the lobby area. Located in a good spot where restaurants are near.

Check in was quick and easy, it was close to where I needed to be for my half marathon. The staff was helpful and the room was clean and well kept up.

Staff was friendly. But there were smells in room and hallway. We could not stand it. Although booked three nights, we checked out after staying one night.

Would stay here again :) the have shampoo/body wash/conditioner/lotion refillables but do need to request additional towels if necessary. No problems during visit, solid place :)

My husband and me have stayed at this property in the exact same room last year. We were in an accessible room on the first floor right next to the ice and vending machines. Last year, the DirecTV was terrible. Kept skipping because it didn't connect to satellite very well. This year, we stayed in the same exact room. The problem was even worse than last year. This time, at least we could watch movies on Demand. This time around the bathroom smelled just like wet dog. Horrible. We needed to use the computer to print out some things for an event. Printer didn't work because toner needed to be changed. When my husband asked the front desk for toner. He was told they didn't have any, but provided an address at the front desk so we could forward the email to them to print out for us. The young man at the front desk just smiled and waved when we complained about the service, printer, and smell. Fine. But our experiences of this year and last solidified it for us. WE WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN!!! There are just too many other hotels that we feel might provide a better stay for us.

Clean and well taken care property. Bed and bedding were very comfortable and clean. Great hot breakfast. Easy parking.

This was a not so good experience. The shower water was either hot or cold. No in between. The AC unit made a high pitched noise most of the time. There was construction noises eaarly mornings as well.

It was close to my venue and even though we got here very early, we were able to get in a room.

I didn't like the area yet I was safe during my stay. The breakfast could of had more fruit choices but breakfast was good

Bathroom floor was dirty lots of cracks on the tile , shower handle was broken hard to regulate tempeture, Ac unit was not working properly it kept turning off on its own, I spent hrs looking for a room with a pool and hot tub ! The hot tub jacuzzi was green super nasty and dirty we was not able to use the pool was also dirty very noisy I was in the second floor and we had so much noise all night long super disappointed on this booking only thing that was okay was our beds cnfortable for sure but will never be staying here again for the cost it should have been a lot cleaner staff was nice but other then that super dissatisfied.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. The room was very spacious. The beds were pretty comfortable. Bathrooms amenities were great, The location is pretty good.

Staff was super helpful. I called the morning of my stay and asked about early check-in and was told I can check in at 12:30. We got there at Noon and a room was already available. Staff was always at the desk so we were able to get new towels and fix my room key. Was also able to do late checkout with ease. Breakfast was good. The room had a fridge and microwave which you dont see often and these appliance came in handy.

Great location for beach stay. Close to a lot of restaurants and beaches.

Location I think is the best, you can have a lot option around for anything you need.

Check in was fast and easy. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a slight musty smell but it went away after we opened the window. Their free breakfast was much better than other hotels' breakfasts. We would stay there again.

It was a quick turn around trip for a dance competition close to the venue perfect for what we needed .

Musky smell, old furnishings, bed, everything. Very loud! From room can hear doors slamming in hall, people and maids woke us up laughing and running in hall in morning. They left doors to building open all night so was not sure about safety. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be staying again.

Well, good for the price. Free parking is a plus. But isolation is not good. If the upstairs walk, you can hear them clearly also the Nextdoor units you can hear them very easily moral of the story. Have some earplugs if you wanna stay here!
