This was the perfect place to stay. Very nice hotel and convenient spot to more around the city. Beaches 20 min away.

staff was friendly and helpful with the exception of the person who was on duty at 7am on Sunday, He seemed as if we were bothering him when we attempted to ask him questions about extending our stay.

Took Metro K Line ( Redondo Beach Station next to hotel) and then free terminal transfer bus back to airport which was extremely convenient. Would definitely stay there again in the future. The one only negative comment was the view out of our room was not the best.

The breakfast was fantastic. This lighting and window coverings in the room need an overhaul. The curtains were too long so they dragged on the floor preventing them from closing completely. This was a major concern because we were on the first floor. The lighting in the room wasn't great. The bedroom had a harsh fluorescent can light and the living area had too few lamps.

Our room was very clean, as was the property. Clean hot tub and pool. Breakfast was very well done, and Karen's service was exceptional. The $25 parking fee should be built into the cost. A bit of a surprise.

Breakfast options were great plenty of from to sit and enjoy your meal. The rooms are big and spacious we traveled with a pet as well and they put us close to the outside doors. Even though it’s next to a freeway and train you cannot hear either of the traffic coming and going. Definitely would recommend this play to others!

The staff were super friendly and kind but unfortunately there were things that just made the experience not so grand. First we arrived to our tv on, had to call because the remote wouldn’t work and after a couple visits they replaced the batteries. Whomever cleaned knew the remote was dead because they couldn’t. Turn the tv off but left it for us to deal with. Then the sofa bed wasn’t made so we had to find sheets in the closet and make it ourselves even though it was known that we needed it because we reserved the suite for 6 people. After making the bed we found that there was one thin blanket to go on it and one pillow. We called to see if there was a comforter or an extra blanket that could be used and to get a couple pillows. We were told that they had no extra pillows in the entire hotel and to use the couch pillows that they had no comforters but could find us another thin blanket. Then the next morning about 9am our cards all deactivated and we were all locked out of our room and had to make trips downstairs to get help. We also weren’t the only room that had this happen and were told that something happened in the system. Again the staff was great in trying to assist but the visit was a little frustrating and probably wouldn’t have been worthy of noting had it not been a handful of things that occurred. I feel like not having enough bedding and having the make the beds yourselves doesn’t really meet the expectation for a basic level of service for a stay.

The bathtub and the sink were clogged when we used the first time. We talked to the front desk and the engineer came to fix. They looked rusty(look kind of dirty). The front desk and the breakfast are very good.

The breakfast and area were clean. Joe was extremely helpful. Give this guy a raise. I just hope the management team provide enough trainings to all employees like Joe to ensure they all are successful. Our AC was extremely loud due to our bed located next to the vent so had to turn the AC off while in bed. When the upstairs room turned on their AC or bathroom fan, not sure what, but our room vibrated like a truck was parked inside our room.

Suites were clean and again very spacious with everything you need to cook if you want to. We had an issue with noise from a repair from the room next to us the first day(uncommon I’m sure), but the property manager moved us immediately and gave us a credit for the inconvenience. The hotel is overall quiet, no road noise and a good location for Manhattan beach. It’s about a 15 minute drive with traffic and there is parking available for $2/hour on the beach. Manhattan beach is quiet and family friendly with a pier that is beautiful at night! We stayed for 6 nights and would recommend!

Even though hotel is not in downtown or city center, paying for parking per night per car is unnecessary. Stayed for 5 nights with family of 4. Sofa bed was torn and deformed. Spoke to hotel front desk and was told to talk to Expedia as it was booked through them. Spoke to Expedia requesting room change, but did not receive any help from either hotel staff or Expedia staff. Even though the reservation was for 4 guest. I had to go ask for extra towels every single day (except on the check out day). If they care about number of guest, when should we disclose while booking? Or they expected that not everyone would shower daily? Makes no sense. Also body wash was not provided and when asked they handed over shampoo and told me that it will be refilled by house keeping. But when we came back late at night, it was still empty. Had to go to front desk again and ask for body wash. Finally on the day of checkout, I was checked out at 9 am overthought it was supposed to be 11 am as per booking confirmation. Had to go back to front desk yet again to new keys. These are few examples or many such ordeals. Pathetic hotel and a disgrace for the brand name “Marriott”

My daughter & I decided to stay here & have a little weekend vacation just the 2 of us. However our entire time interacting with staff was absoultley the worst. They were very mean to me but especially my daughter & said some very unkind things to her at breakfast saying to get her greedy hands off of the whipped cream. She came out crying this kind of behavior from staff is unacceptable. I will not being staying here ever again. I love Mariotts but yours by far takes the cake for the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The whole front desk needs to leave there attitudes somewhere else. If you are gonna work in cutsomer service the least you can too is be kind to people staying at your establishment kids or adults.

The room and everything was great. Our shower temp didn’t get very hot and the handle was backwards so where Hot was supposed to be was Cold and visa versa. Overall a good hotel and would stay at again.

Everything was great, though a few things need maintenance, like the sink garbage disposal. The gym equipment was ok, the pool was good too! Breakfast was delicious and the variety was amazing!

My stay was great. However the $25 per day for parking is an absolute rip-off. Why are you charging us to park? Where else should we park if we’re guests staying there. This isn’t Vegas where we’re in a hotel with restaurants and a casino. Treasure Island on the strip even has free parking! Won’t be making this stupid mistake again. I’ll stay somewhere else, even if it’s more expensive. I know that sounds ass-backwards, but I’m keeping it 100% real.

The biggest issue, however, was the staff specifically at the front desk during the night shift. They were not friendly or helpful at all and showed no intention of providing good customer service. As a business manager myself, I would strongly recommend that the owner or management review the performance and training of the nighttime front desk staff, as customer service plays a crucial role in the overall guest experience.

Pet friendly. Welcoming and friendly staff. The bathtub was spackled and unfinished. I can't believe that the room was not blocked off to be repaired. I left home to enjoy a nice hot bath since my home currently does not have one. This was extremely disappointing. I should be credited back for the room or offered a complimentary two night stay for a future date.

This was our second time staying here. The rooms are clean. It's not far from LAX & we prefer the area to the LAX accommodations. Some staff seemed nice & accommodating, others seemed to not understand they are in the hospitality industry. The full breakfast is great!

Breakfast was very delicious! The night time bonfire was fun to sit around. The hotel was very close to the building we needed to go to the next day, great restaurants and beaches nearby. We drove the Venice beach to see the canals. There was a bit of an unpleasant conversation with the manager checking us in. My 5 year old needed to use the restroom while we checked in and the manager refused to answer my question after I asked 3 different times regarding where the lobby restroom was. We had driven 3 hours to get to the hotel and my 5 yr needed to pee. I had already given the manager my id and my name. I sternly told him the urgency and he finally told me where it was. The room was nice and clean but had allergies flare up - maybe dog hair in the circulating in the a/c. We were on the first floor and there were dogs in other rooms on the same floor.

It was great for the night after our plane was late. There was a skunk by the pool.

One of the main reasons we choose this property was that it included breakfast. While the staff was courteous, they initially told us that breakfast was until 10am, but it finished at 9a during the week. The second day we were there from 6-6:30a and there was no juice, no milk for the cereal, no batter for waffles or pancakes, no butter for toast, there wasn't even a water available-really disappointed. Rooms were okay.

Stay there for a week had to ask them to come and clean the room never change bed sheets for a whole week never clean bathroom says bought towels parking $25 a day. Ridiculous never again every morning the hallway smell like old folks phone really really strong smell no thank you I’ve been way too much money for that kind.

Great stay. The kitchen is a BIG plus. Very cozy and staff is so nice. Breakfast is very good as well. At times, it gets a bit noisy, but not a big bother. I’d certainly stay here every time I am around the area.

I have everything written down as our entire group had a HORRIBLE experience with Brian Dominguez (the supervisor who was acting manager).

We were here for 4 nights to go to concerts in BMO and Intuit. We appreciated the location that it was right by the freeway which made it easy to access. Parking was also accessible and had plenty of spaces even after we returned from our shows. Staff was very friendly and breakfast options were pretty good too.

The front desk was very polite and helpful and I liked how safe it is to get in the building. For example every door leading into the building you need to scan your room card.

We only stayed one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but the staff was friendly accommodating, the room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast buffet was wonderful! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Walked in to a semi clean room with stains on mattress headboard and furniture. Had to switch room due to a broken A/C, clogged up bathroom sink and shower faucet falling apart. Did not receive housekeeping on any of our 2 rooms even after requesting it. Lack of hospitality and no proper customer service. Do not stay here, not worth it.

This hotel is amazing. The property is very nice and the rooms are spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning is great and has a great variety. They also have some theme nights for the guests which was a nice perk.

Stayed here 3 times with no issues, manager Crystal is rude and should not be employed. Roxas works at the front desk and is warm and welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast is average and would not stay here again.

We reserved two rooms both washroom lock was broken and were not fixed during our 6 days stay. The carpet feel filthy.we didnot like the breakfast. Found rotten apples.

Breakfast was so so but things ran out and they were not quick to refill and kicked you out right at 10 am. You get room service every other say and when they came they did the bare minimum and did not clean the kitchen or wipe down mirror in bathroom. Torn shower curtain. Needs updating in

It was rather unsatisfactory due to receiving an email that my reservation had moved, upon arrival I was directed to go back to the original destination even after I had called prior to confirm. Very inconvenient and inconsiderate on the part of the hotel.

This is a great place to stay, close to LAX and Redondo Beach Pier. Tall ceilings, new building, large suite with full kitchen, king size bed, pool / gym / hot tub… and a ln excellent buffet breakfast.

There were 2 guys the last day we were there that were super unhelpful (can’t remember their names or I would put it here). He wouldn’t give us enough towels for the 4 people staying in our room. The other guy told us we could get a late checkout and when we got back to our room (early) we were locked out.

Before arriving, I had read a few reviews about noise concerns from the nearby freeway. Our bedroom did face the freeway, so I was a bit apprehensive. To our surprise, it was not noisy at all. The room was quiet, comfortable, and well-suited for an extended stay. One of the highlights of our visit was the Manager, Charles. During breakfast one morning, he stopped by our table to chat. It was a thoughtful gesture that left a positive impression and showed strong, guest-focused leadership. The daily breakfast was consistent and appreciated. We also enjoyed using the BBQ area on the Fourth of July. It was a nice touch that added to our experience. However, there is some room for improvement with housekeeping and a few members of the breakfast team. Housekeeping was scheduled every other day, which works fine for long stays, but the quality of service varied. Not all staff, but some, seemed to lack attention to detail. Overall, we had a lovely stay. With a few adjustments and perhaps a refresh of some of the facilities, this property has the potential to go from great to exceptional. We would definitely return.

Parking should be free, but I like the ease of getting in and out of the property and thr cleanliness.

I asked for a roll away bed day 1 and they said they would call me and let me know if it was available, day 2 i inquired again, the lady at the dest said they had one and would have housekeeping bring it by, day 3 which is the only day we did not need it someone came to the door with it. My reservation was for 2 adults and 4 kids, also the bathroom sink had no running water, it was basically a slow drip, we had to brush our teeth and wash our face in the kitchen sink and down the hall

Room cleaning not regular enough. Breakfast times too limited. Very noisy in the room.

We stayed for 3nights but they never clean the room, they changed the towels but never clean the floor, though.

We have stayed with the same hotel many times, however this time we were disappointed. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable, and not enough extra pillow was provided for the same. Second, i booked the hotel purposely for 3 nights to avoid late check out hassle and checked out late after 2 nights on 3rd day at 7.30pm. Asked the staff to not charge atleast the parking amount for last night but he said not possible. Very very disappointed, as a regular customer this small stuffs should be considered. I even have a roualty program with Marriott.

Was great experience!

When we arrived the computer system was down and we weren't given a room key and someone had to let us in. There was damage to various parts of the room. The refrigerator handle was broken off, the bathroom mirror was cracked, the dishwasher didn't open, and a light fixture was broken. I called ahead of time and asked if the room included an oven and was told that it did, but it only included a stove top. Altogether the room was very clean, the staff friendly, and the included breakfast was very good.

Very nice hotel! Kept clean and well managed. It had an outdoor pool and a basketball court. The rooms were large and had a nice living area. Only downside is the hard water stains on shower head. Definitely would come back here next time in LA

The receptionist was super rude

The complimentary breakfast was amazing it even had a waffle bar. Having a full kitchen was perfect for our stay. The hot tub and pool were clean, although we didn't spend as much time in it as we'd like as there was a children's softball league staying in the hotel and we were on our honeymoon so we kind of steered clear of that area lol. The kids all seemed to love it! They even have an outdoor area with a bbq grill.

Honestly the stay was wonderful but the parking should be free.

The staff was not that friendly and not as helpful. We had to call guest services about 5-6 times and talk to people in person for items we needed in our room. It took about 4 hours until someone finally came.

Staff was friendly, we booked two rooms and both rooms were in pretty good shape, there were knicks here and there but honestly didn’t really affect our stay. Rooms were pretty quiet even though the freeway is right next to the hotel so that’s really nice. Overall pretty good stay for the family. Nice fire pit outside and small basketball court

I never stayed at a Residence Inn before and I was pleasantly surprised at the huge room! The breakfast was also great and the parking rate ($21/night) was much cheaper than other places! If o come back to LA, I'd definitely stay here again!

On a positive note, the breakfast offered each morning was tasty and well-prepared, though the seating area was somewhat limited, which made it a bit crowded during peak times. With some attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and maintenance, this hotel has strong potential. I appreciated the room size and the overall comfort, and with a few improvements, it could offer an even better guest experience.

The place wasn’t ready when we got there who’ve was at check in time. It wasn’t cleaned correctly, no blankets for sleeper sofa, only 2 towels and had to call numerous times to bring items. It’s close to Sofi but that was about all I can say good about it. Breakfast was decent

Everything was very comfortable and clean. The room was well put together and the property was nice and well kept

We came as a family for a 6 night stay. Rooms were big and fully equiped with all needed to cook. Gopd breakfast options. I would say only downfall we ran jnto was the sliding bathroom door. The lock would get stuck and the door was noisy to open and close. Other then that no complaints. Would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful clean hotel with incredible breakfast and great staff who are friendly ! Downfall would be paying for parking. But apart from that I can’t complain about our stay. Would recommend!

I was charged extra for both parking and taxes even though the EXPEDIA site says quotation is "all inclusive". My 28 day total came to $5213.65 (including Expedia charge at inception) or about $1000.00 more than quoted. I'm done.
