Horrible place stay away

Room was falling apart. I didn't want to set my stuff down on floor or dirty chair. Bathroom shower door was taped up. Walls not painted. Just grimy. We decided to go somewhere else to stay. The place we chose to stay was cheaper at last minute and much nicer. This place is a rip-off.

Safeway and Starbucks across the street. I arrived early and was able to check inn.
- 5/5
Loved it was great clean 5 stars
- 1/5
Filthy room with mold in windows and scum on shower floors.
- 1.5/5
The facility had a shady low life feel, prostitution, panhandling, people in and out at all hours of the night. Plumbing and television noises from neighboring units transmitted through shared vents, the rooms had no insulation in the walls so you could hear car doors slamming and noises from neighboring guests all night long. Terrible experience, never again.

This motel has been in Livermore for as long as I can remember. Probably since the 1950's. I no longer live in Livermore, but had an event to attend and decided to stay here. It was within walking distance of everything I needed to see, including restaurants and coffee. The rooms have been upgraded and were very clean. The lady at the desk was friendly. The ice machine was out of order, but there is a store nearby where ice can be purchased. I was very happy with the lodgings for the cost.

The reception staff was quick and to the point. The location is conveniently across a shopping plaza for all sorts of food and necessities. Safe area despite looking sketchy. There was a strong chlorine smell from the shower drain. The water heating doesn't last long. Bedding had what looked like crumbs and eyelashes stuck to the lamp.

Bizarre place. Nowhere to hang clothes- not even a hook. No artwork. The fridge didn’t have any shelves. No phone to call front desk. Very skimpy towels. One little desk chair. No proper shower curtain ( only a fabric one without a liner). Zero amenities. Filthy TV remote.
- 3/5
Good, but very basic. No shampoo or new stuff for more than one night. Too basic for price

The hotel is clearly in need of renovation — the doors are shabby, the furniture is old and stained, and the carpet is w

No Coffee Maker and a Broken Microwave. Told them about the Microwave at my first visit. Still the same broken Microwave when I returned. The Management is awful.

Close to many restaurants. Family friendly.

Affordable and the room is clean
- 4/5
Its an old property that needs renovation
- 4/5
the office was locked and I was forced to stand outside to check in- made me feel pretty unsafe.
- 4/5
The lobby door is locked. You have to stand outside for checking in. It is hot. The person is talking on the phone. Long wait. Not respectful.
- 5/5
I could check ✔️ in. The lodging was more than adequate.
- 1/5
Made me wait outside for 10 minutes in triple digit weather
- 5/5
Its a very nice cute place. Its not the best but definitely not the worst. Its very affordable and it was quite.
- 1/5
Nothing else offers to make you happy
- 2/5
We were told there was coffee in the morning from 8-10. The office was still locked when we left at 9:15 so obviously no coffee was available.
- 1/5
Hairball in waste basket, hair all over bathroom floor. Dirty towels. Bed was broken so it sloped to one side unless you slept on one half of the bed. Staff was rude to me and to other people who were staying there.
- 2/5
No clean towels
- 1/5
The property had black mold in the bathroom and no smoke detectors.
- 4/5
Needed renovations
- 1/5
There are no closed caption.. we are deaf couple . Also two microwaves arent work ! 😪
- 1/5
This place was terrible. The bathroom was disgusting and the covers were filthy. Went to the store and bought my own blanket. This place needs to be shut down.
- 3/5
It was fine. Cheap but nice enough. Close to where I needed to be.
- 1/5
This place is in major need of new furniture and repairs. While the staff does their best to ensure it’s clean there is furniture that looks like it came from the dump. And when I checked the mattress for bed bugs there were no bugs but the mattress had black stains on it. I checked in, looked around, and immediately left and booked something else.
- 1/5
This place need major work .
- 5/5
i was given a newly renovated room; new flooring, furnishings, and large RCA flatscreen TV. it is clean and comfortable. contrary to what is shown in past reviews of run down estate, this motel looks rather new. shower spray was powerful and hot water consistent. only issue was the toilet bowl water kept running, open the tank lid & saw that the plunger obstructs the drain pipe closure lid. I fixed it.
- 3/5
(1) Very friendly staff and housekeeping! April was very pleasant and efficient. (2) Nice quiet property. about 25 units. (3) Parking on property was very good. (4) Walking distance to Starbucks, CVS, Safeway across the street. Cons: (1) Our room was seriously in need of updating. (2) Shower was so awful we didn't use it. see pic. (3) Sheets had black stains on it. (4) Mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. Didn't sleep very well. (5) The room was clean but VERY dated and furniture kinda beat up. We had stayed here a year before and were pleased with our room and property, so it was quite disappointing to see how run down it had become. All that said, if looks aren't important, and considering the pretty important pros, you'll like this place.
- 3/5
Disgusting…. Afraid to lay my head on any other of the tiny 4- pillows offered. No blankets offered. Stale cigarette smoke odor. Disgusting floaters in the shower once turned on. Someone’s deodorant was located behind toilet. No sleep, bathroom window open to neighbors. Remote for TV “sticky”. Yuck. Tv was set on Spanish TV only… A night of my life and $100 I’ll never get back.
- 1/5
The only thing we liked was the location near our son. The facility is very run down with the ice machine, coke machine, washer and dryer and pool all out of service. There was no coffee available in the room or in the front reception. There was only one hand towel and face towel and the bath towels were very poor quality. This place is way over priced for the services that are available-price higher than Motel 6 with far less amenities available
- 3/5
If things are advertised on the website, they should be there.
- 5/5
Great location near downtown Livermore, room was very clean
- 4/5
Good central location
- 5/5
Nice affordable Motel.
- 5/5
No!
- 5/5
Great place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- 3/5
Although it was clean, safe and convenient, there were no ceramic mugs to heat beverages and no hair dryer. The painting and tile was DIY. Definitely needs updating.
- 4/5
It was close to home and work, so very good
- 1/5
I was scared to use sink or shower for fear of a spore outbreak. Bed was awlful so springy amost fell off. Carpets dirty . Send the epa and a bulldozer si that is never listed again.
- 5/5
I love this little motel. It looks like a war zone. Looks like somebody let a bomb go off in there. Very comfortable and very nostalgic. The front desk staff are exceptional and provide service that goes beyond. Can’t beat the price of the hotel, either. I can’t wait to go back and stay there, again. One of my favorite motels.
- 4/5
I liked it because it was right downtown and easy access to the stores I needed to go to
- 4/5
There was only a sheet on the bed and the AC woke me up every time it came on. I finally switched to fan only but then the room got too warm. AC needs attention to address the loud grinding noise on startup.
- 1/5
There has mold in bathroom and few bugs crawling on bed ans walls
- 3/5
Really needs to be updated/refurbished
- 1/5
The room and showers were absolutely disgusting. My room was not cleaned the first full day, so I came back to a dirty room after working all day. I went to the desk and told them; they gave me towels for the next day's shower.
- 5/5
I have stayed there at least 10 times in the past 10 years but the pool has never been available and they don’t say anything about it under construction before you check in.
- 1/5
Missing tiles in bathroom-no curtain on window-as a female, that is unacceptable. I almost left but it was very late so I made due. Bathroom looked like it was falling apart. No shampoo, coffee maker, cups of any kind. Large stain on dirty carpet-what is it???
- 4/5
It's not the Four Seasons, but neither is the price. The location is very convenient. Across the street is a Safeway, CVS, Starbucks, along with other stores. The bed was very comfortable. Shower was strong. There is a microwave and small refrigerator. Others have noted that the property needs some updating which is true (paint peeling, etc), but again, for the price, convenience and everything we needed it was worth the stay.
- 2/5
They do not accept cash
- 3/5
Old beat-up motel 15 mins walking distance from downtown. OK for the price but don’t expect much.
- 4/5
I wasn't sure what to expect, the building is kind of old, but the room was wonderful. I guess tge rooms have been remodeled. It was better than expected.
- 5/5
Very reasonable option. Nothing fancy, fit our needs perfectly. Quieter than expected. Nice new shower, bath and comfy bed.
- 4/5
Room generally ok although the AC was noisy and kept me awake. Room could do with a make over as very tired.
- 3/5
But it was in the area we needed to stay in so it worked enough. Room was functional.
- 5/5
Definitely enjoyed our stay! all rooms on street level.
- 4/5
Location
- 5/5
This property is obviously old and needs refurbishment. It was clean and quiet and well located.
- 4/5
I have known this property for nearly 50 years. My Mother actually assisted the owners once. First experience ever in a pool was the one on this property. Though it was closed and green in color water algae..
- 4/5
Everything is good!
- 4/5
Small facility, located near shopping and restaurants. Helpful staff.
- 4/5
I loved that the windows were able to open up all the way for fresh air so it didn’t smell stale. Secondly I like how the bathroom had a window majority of hotels don’t have windows so it was also nice to have a window to be able to get fresh air that way also. I would definitely come back and enjoy the down town
- 2/5
This place is reliant solely on it's convenient downtown livermore location to give the aforementioned value. Place is a sty, absolutely gnarly. The couple that manages the property have been really nice to me and I've never had a bad customer service experience so I just want to clarify that I don't hold them in the same esteem as the property itself but overall I would caution against staying the night here when there are better rooms available in both quality and price.
- 4/5
I guess that is why price was so low. Service was good.
- 2/5
There was mold in the bathroom and the room smelled stale
- 3/5
People at the desk were nice the place was old somewhat renovated but not completely sheets were clean OK deal for the price
- 4/5
Mgt took care of any concerns right away.Loud guests nextdoor were asked to leave
- 2/5
The check in was fine, but the room was not very nice and was very run down, carpet was dirty and the cove base behind the nightstand coming away from the wall, the first day here the maid did not come to clean the room till 2:00 pm and never left any plastic cups, the last night the place was like a home for one night stands and lots of loud and rude people will never stay here ever again, room rate was not worth the money I paid, this place is a dump and needs a lot of work to make it a better place to stay.
- 3/5
The room was clean, but the bathroom had worn out and fading tile and decor. On my last day the cold water faucet handle cracked in my hand when I tried to turn it on. All in all it was an Ok experience.
- 5/5
A good room for a great price! Also better bed than I expected.
- 5/5
Clean and quiet. Much better than most budget hotels.
- 4/5
What I didn't like was the Big was FILTHY and had to have it Replace. I would stay there again, but the Carpets and Chairs need to be Cleaned before arrival
- 3/5
Very very old looking rooms, paint chipping, scuff marks and stains, pool closed for season even though temps were in the 70s. Very nice and friendly female staff member, male staff member gruff and grim. Fridge and microwave worked well, easy parking. No bathtub, only small shower stall. Had to ask for soap after rooms were cleaned because toiletries weren’t restocked. Breakfast was danishes, coffee, cereal and bottled water.
- 5/5
Great Prices for a Great room and services. Easy access to groceries and entertainment
- 2/5
Very run down. Everything is in need of repair: the walls, the shower, the entire bathroom, the refrigerator, the bed was broken. But the room was quiet!
- 1/5
Disgusting! Bedding smelled like a homeless person & room was filthy. Definitely do NOT recommend this place if you are looking for sanitary accommodations.
- 1/5
The room was not clean, it had a very distinct odor.
- 3/5
Easy accessibility but the room is cold. The heater was set to 68 degrees F. I wish they would have the ideal room temperature set to 72 degrees.
- 5/5
It is clean & quiet. Probably built in the 1950’s.
- 3/5
Room was in desperate need of repainting. Free morning coffee and a Safe way market across the street.
- 5/5
Very kind and friendly staff. I enjoyed my stay as the campus is located in a peaceful surrounding. It is also close to all the restaurants located in the downtown square. However, Starbucks is located across the street from the Inn. I got the sense that I was staying in a village cottage.
- 4/5
The room was older but newly renovated. It was nice and had everything I needed. Very pleasant manager . Thank you
- 2/5
the bathroom was in terrible condition. the shower door glass was broken and taped together. the tile floors were chipped and broken. mold and mildew. ceiling was badly patched and never painted. lampshades broken, bedroom carpet not well vacuumed.
- 3/5
I've always liked this funky little motel. Comfortable and homey. In a great location within walking distance of food and stores. Perfect for my simple needs.
- 2/5
Not enough soap Not friendly staff
- 4/5
Only thing that was the facilities were old, staff was friendly. Bathroom needs to be updated.
- 1/5
Returned to room unmade on Sunday evening. Was informed they had no maid service on Sundays. Was there for 4 nights. Totally unacceptable.
- 4/5
Very Good - very clean - Ok ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- 4/5
Very clean and within easy walking distance to middle of town, Very satisfied.
- 5/5
Bed was very comfortable and the area is quite at night and you are within walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable as well as quiet. The free breakfast was great.
- 3/5
property was old and it shows - clean enough though
- 2/5
We unfortunately will not be staying here again.
- 3/5
I stayed in Rm 122, The furniture was old and battered, but the TV was good. Place was a work in progress. Its like they are working on it a bit at a time.
- 3/5
Really worn down but nice and safe and quite For what you pay good value However there is no laundry as stated and the breakfast is minimal Attention to dusting would be better But all in all ok
- 4/5
Room was good decent size i did not like that the room smelled like paint and when u use the bathroom u could smell it when your on the bed even after closing the bathroom door it would smell over all it was a decent place but could use some work to make it better
- 3/5
The bathroom in particular had broken tiles, and questionable black stuff in the caulking. For the price paid, I’m basically satisfied.
- 3/5
it was a comfortable place to stay, price was right
- 3/5
Very accommodating to a change at the last minute! Thanks
- 1/5
Dirty room. Dirty bathroom. Leaking fixtures in bath. Rusty water puddle on windowsill in bath - either from rain or from condensation (no fan). Unpainted drywall repairs in bath. Hot and cold lines switched in bathroom sink. Missing tiles in bathroom floor. Gap at bottom of door out to parking lot. The people running the place were nice. The facility itself is in need of some serious TLC.
- 1/5
Worst hotel ever. Dirty, old
- 3/5
Suitable
- 2/5
Room was very clean but totally rundown. Staff friendly.
- 3/5
I have stayed at this place several times; the furnishings are not new and show some wear, but it is very clean. My main problem is that they do not have working phones in the rooms---not everybody owns a cell phone! This trip, there was no phone at all---what if there had been an emergency?
- 4/5
Overall set up in room was functional, however small refrigerator didn’t smell pleasant, or none at all.
