DO NOT STAY HERE ITS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES. Someone else’s hair was in the bed, so the sheets WEREN’T CLEANED BETWEEN GUESTS. The room was filthy and actual dirt was everywhere, not just normal wear and tear, I mean little pebbles were in the sheets. The gentleman at the front desk first told me how he wanted to give my room to someone else and how he didn’t even want to honor my reservation (but meanwhile the vacancy light was on?) then he refused to do anything to clean the room. There were lightbulbs missing, tiles missing, and duct tape holding up the shower curtain. The outside of the building is in disrepair, there was a plastic chair holding up one of the AC units, and garbage in the walk way. I can’t say enough to communicate how NO ONE SHOULD STAY HERE. The staff was rude and unhelpful and the building and rooms were frankly gross. The walls are paper thin and I could hear the neighbor in the bathroom, which I discovered while cleaning another person’s hair off the toilet seat in my room. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY

Room was dirty and smelled. The sheets were stained with white stuff, the towels looked ragged and unclean, the microwave had a lot of leftover food stuck to it and bed itself was DIRTY. Don't recommend

The man at the front desk was kind. I usually stay Best Western. I was real surprised. There was no coffee available. Other than that. It was OK.

I like that the motel is on the highway and close to many shops and restaurants. The property was not very clean. I don’t think the sheets on the bed got washed. There was hair and cigarette burns on the sheets when I looked at the sheets. There was a spider on the wall in the bathroom. Also the toilet is very noisy when you flush it.

It was nice and quite When I booked it and payed the website said I owed 0$ but when I arrived they told me I had to leave a $50.00 cash deposit.

A short stay but long enough to appreciate the efficient staff, newly refurbished room and clean and comfortable bed and bathroom. It ain't the Ritz. But it is quiet, clean, comfortable and a bargain. . I might have enjoyed a lobby bar, a pool, a workout room and a mint on the pillowcase. but that would have been a different place and a couple hundred more dollars.

The smell of the restroom was kinda weird but had the door closed so it didn’t bother that much.

Cold AC. Almost beat up someone staying there for casually flipping off me and wife for no reason.

Was ok for last minute stay but don't think i would stay again. A/C only has on and off function so either you're hot or very cold. There is no in between. Towels were too small.

I don't think this room was cleaned beforehand. There was still a towel on the ground. Door was dented and janky, no closet door, sink wiggled, it smelled bad in there. I should have paid $30 more for the hotel next over because this was like a $20 hotel

Not sure why, but the clerk kept pressing me to pay with cash.

The hot water was spotty. Their towels were old and small. The tv only had pay-per-view channels available. Located right on Pacific Coast Highway was very convenient for the location we needed. Other then that, I would not stay there again.

I was told I wasnt allowed to check in, after arguing with Expedia for more than an hour I was told I could go back and check in I told him I wanted a full refund. I STAYED AT MOTEL6 FOR THE 2 WEEKS

Nice and clean, also affordable

When i arrived to check in the guy asked me to pay in cash. When i let him know that i don't carry cash he days ok and takes my credit card. Then runs it as debit (no big deal) but he asks me for my pin # i said I'm not giving you my pin but i will enter it. To this he tells me it won't reach so i told him he better run it as credit then. Once we are finally done with that transaction he tells me there is a $20 deposit that i need to pay in cash. That i will get it back when i check out. I said i told you i don't have cash just charge the card for it which he said nevermind which i found strange. He kept trying to get cash out of me. We finally get to the room and i couldn't believe it. The tv was in a room with 2 chairs. Then we go in the bedroom and 1 of the beds has pubic hair on the sheets & dirty pillow cases. Needles to say i stripped the bed and sanitized it since there was no one in the office. The toilet rocked when you sat down or got up.

The heater didn't work and it was freezing outside. The staff was rude and very aggressive when they spoke to you. Pounding on the door before 11:00 am. I could go on but what's the point.

Shinson blankets were dirty hair all over the blankets when I called to ask for an exchange they gave me hell about it as if they didn't care attempted to charge me a $20 positive when I came to stay although I was fully paid when I book the room. The hotel staff was very rude and obnoxious I would never stay here again if I can rate it zero stars I would .

Everything is out of accomodation

Well reviews should be listened to and we didn't listen they have to try harder to get rid of those bed bugs and carrying fresh bedsheets and towels in a shopping cart from room to room was embarrassing but the location was great

It is very very dirty. They asked if I had a big dog? After I paid they wanted $20 cash only. I refused. It has maybe 10 rooms. I think it is a monthly or hooker rentals. I bought a bed sheet to use over the bed. Tv would not work and the bedroom tv was missing. They were evicting a man with a guitar when I got there. ONLY RESON I STAYED BECAUSE THE WEDDING WAS 5 MIN AWAY.

The cable was not working, and the pillows were old and worn out (no cushion). There were only enough towels for one person even through they knew I booked for two adults. Also I was charged $85 online but at the property they charged me $91 and said I had to pay cash even though they said I could pay debit. Never was told there was a $20 deposit as well and had to come up with money I didn’t have thankfully my girl had it.

It was so excellent I like the way they have the place so clean organized and they are so friendly I recommend if you're looking for a low low budget it is a good place to stay not bad at all

I'll stay overnight was peaceful and quiet.... but my only complaint is that the bedding was dirty with somebody else's hair and dust crumbs from the hardwood floors got on the sheets .

I have never been to a hotel where the price changes at the hotel. Staff lied about why the price changed.

I don’t feel safe I didn’t sleep all night the place looks like a run down drug house I can’t believe this place is offered on your list the worst place I’ve ever stayed in I couldn’t even sleep after working a 14hr day again I can’t believe this place is open and offered on your website

The room had a broken window lock, front door know was covered in packing tape, closet door was unhinged, Sprinkler was inoperable, smoke alarm missing (just the bracket was there), and electrical socket had exposed wires. It was horrible. We called code enforcement the next day. The owner actually told Expedia we were lying, even though we had pictures.

The room was beyond my expectations and super clean. I’d recommend Bartlett to anyone traveling in the harbor area!

I didn't like the fact that they had bed bugs I had to sleep in my car did not enjoy this stay at all worse stay ever.. the shower had hair inside the toilet was dirty and it smelled like urine the bottom of the toilet was filthy I'm a house cleaner I clean top to bottom the bathroom the whole experience of that room was just terrible I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

We arrived at the hotel around 12 am, tired expecting to relax and go to sleep after arriving from the airport. When we got to the room it had a horrible smell. There were stains all over the walls, the sheets on the bed looked dirty, and worst of all there were red stains all over the couches. It was unbearable to stay there any longer and I asked the manager for a new room. The only available room was a one bedroom where me and my 2 daughters had to share the bed. It was a clean room so I didn’t mind the bed situation and was only planning on staying here for the night. We were only able to get around 3 hours of sleep when it was almost 4 am and there were loud scratching noises coming from the other side of room. The scratching was so loud my daughters and I woke up. It sounded like a knife being scratched on the wall. I immediately called the owner because my daughters and I were scared. He didn’t seem to be concerned about the noise and instead told the guy next door we were complaining. Now I felt even more unsafe and had no other option but to leave the hotel AT 4 AM WITH TWO MINORS. It was a horrible experience, and by the look of the first room we were given I can’t imagine how the other rooms look. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BY COMING HERE!!!!

Cleanliness of the bed sheets,bathroom and floors over all were duty,my feet turn black of dirt on the floor ,it needed to be mop and scrub for sure

Run down motel, lots of things in room broken or not working. Maintenance man on site was nice, but I wouldn’t stay at this place again.

Very hard to communicate with the office manager . He BARELY spoke English. Had to be put on the phone with his boss who was not on site

First time to encounter this kind of hotel/motel ,they need to improved their cleaning, and they should finish working on the bathroom first before they sell it.

They told me my card was declined and no trim was available but I never received notice my card was declined. So I called my bank and they never even tried running my card.

Fine. The front desk was efficient and genial. Management was available but not bothersome . Got their late so got a weird quirky room but the establishment.is well-run and prices reasonable.

Motel was good but one problem that made me rate low. Sorry but I woke up to two bed bugs crawling on my pillow and me. As I inspected the cracks and crevices I noticed you had the whole mattress covered and zipped with a mattress protector but I could still see the dark brown/black spots bed bugs leave on the mattress cover! Not a good look for a hotel but sorry will be my first and last time here. Now I have to wash all my things to make sure I don’t bring hitch hikers

When we opened the dresser drawer there were roaches in it. The best they could do was come out and spray. They were full so no way to move to another room. The outlet near the sink did not work so they brought us an extension cord to use an alternate outlet. The people here are friendly and this was our second time staying here but not such a good experience the second time around. We did have family come in a couple days later and staying here as well. Their room was great. To top it off we were traveling for a funeral so we were already stressed.

This was such a cozy stay. My family got the family room which had cable tv and a living room separate from the bed room. The restroom was big and clean. The local area was very safe and it was near many restaurants.

The location is definitely tucked away, which makes it hard to find, but definitely a cute little spot right in and amongst town. Rooms are small but definitely if you’re just there to sleep and need somewhere to shower it works out great.

The place had bed bugs. We didn't even stay the night and I threw out any clothes I had taken with me to stay.

The hotel was disgusting. Supposedly it was non smoking but stunk really bad like cigarettes, also had roaches and the water in the shower was not going down and coming out of the shower so had to get out fast to avoid the overflow. Horrible place

Ince we checked in I had to go back to the front desk to ask for the wifi code, not the biggest deal but i would think that would be forthcoming during check in. When my GF and I went into the bathroom. A roach came running out of the shower. I did shower and end up standing in the water that wouldn't drain which wasn't pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and the room looked nice.

Sheets with hairs stuck to them and yellow stains, terrible odor in the unit because the bathroom had the toilet not completely attached to the floor with sewer smell. No iron board, iron provided only when we asked, no toilet paper at time of arrival, no hangers. We left the hotel at 7 pm on Saturday instead of Sunday because we just couldn't handle staying one more night. Yuck.

The blinds were shattered and torn. The doors were filthy. The TV didn’t work. I would like my money back! The bed was uncomfortable!

Clean room

Location was close to the beach, Mexican restaurant next door was delicious. Outside looked not completed. Broken concrete and a very small driveway, what you see in photo is the driveway and parking. We parked in front of our door. Rooms were a nice size but walls/doors were really dirty. Bed was too firm, lots of back and neck pain. Bedding was stained. Door moved when it was locked, it felt unsafe. AC unit was amazing and TV was really good too. No Iron Board, No Hair Dryer. Microwave had no plate, Fridge worked good. Good room for the price but would look into other hotels in the area. Good luck.

The window curtins were covering the A/C from the air to enter the whole room. The bathroom blinds were bent out of shape. Like they needed to be replaced. But everything else was good.

tv didn’t work

The room is very cold. The floor and half the wall is ceramic tile. No chair in room. It was like a prison cell. The motel is not nice and it is not close to the beach.

The room was extremely dirty, floors sticky and dirty, it was obvious that the floors were not swept by the amount of dirt and dust. To use the desk lamp we had to unplug the microwave and the plug was loose and cracked and was sparking. Will never stay there again.
