The parking lot was very well lit, clean, and safe, which is importing because the rooms opened to the parking spaces, not to an indoor corridor. The rooms were very clean, freshly painted and well-kept. The pool was heated; the pool and hot tub area was very nice with extra towels rolled up nicely on deck chairs. The rooms were very quiet, with privacy shades and blackout shades. The mattress and box spring were encapsulated (I checked!) to protect against allergens and bedbugs. The cleaning staff was courteous and friendly. The front desk gave extra room keys upon request and rooms close together. The street (PCH) the lobby fronts is busy but there was very little road noise. Nicely maintained grounds. It seemed like an older budget hotel that had been recently remodeled; it was comfortable, quiet, and safe. The rooms were not fancy but they were nice and just what we needed. The mini fridge was good size. The rooms had coffee and tea. The balcony rooms overlook the pool and are the closest to the road (there are 3 loops.) I thought the listing had mentioned free breakfast, but the front desk said they haven’t done that since it changed ownership so maybe I saw an old listing. I didn’t realize the rooms opened to outdoors when I booked the place; I would have preferred that they did not but this was not an issue as the grounds were safe; there did not seem to be any foot traffic on the street. It is next door to a car dealership.

Plumbing not good. Staff kinda okay. Can be better. Ramada should not charge for parking. Ramada should not required more than $100 for the same person staying in same room. I booked for one night. Then decided to book the next night staying in same room. The $100 should have sufficed instead of asking for credit card again for another $100 hold. 3 occasions I was put in a room with terrible plumbing. Room 229. Room 226. I had to fix the sink to make the water drain properly. Have staff check each room for proper plumbing.

Felt like I was in a 3's Company episode. Reservations were given to another customer before I arrived despite calling the day before to confirm all reservation details. Unprofessional front desk staff. Very noisy neighbors and limited parking.

Didn't get a chance to have breakfast, due to early doctors appts. One of the staff kinda of treated weird. It was a male (middle eastern )behind the desk didn't catch his name. I asked if there was water I could buy at the front desk. He mentioned they had no water for that day. I also asked if they had a refill for water to maybe fill my water bottle. He gave me a flat no. Now I didn't mentioned I was a guest but I ended up purchasing 2 cup of of noodles. So I thought that was weird, ended up calling an Uber to go to vons to buy water .

This is a pet friendly hotel. I didn't think much about that, but the dogs next door barked off and on all night. Will think twice before booking into a pet hotel.

We were upgraded to a larger room but the “couch futon” wasn’t super comfy. probably would have preferred a pullout couch bed. The AC fan was so loud it was hard to sleep. overall-a decent place to stay.

The room was nice, well kept, loved the curtains/shade. Floor needed more cleaning, I notice like dots of something in it transfer to the bed. Pool has been the nicest I seen, 8 ft, clean water. Will definitely come back here..

The bathroom sink leaked from the top, the shower handle was about to fall off and the AC unit sounded like an airplane taking off. They allow pets but don't keep them all in one area. The dog next door liked to bark when it heard sounds and whined while the owners were away. Cobwebs throughout the outside walkway areas (well within reach and easily noticeable). Wall in the rooms are paper thin and you can hear your neighbor's conversations. Not ideal

TV did not work. When I tried to call front desk, phone would not connect so I called on my cell phone. Receptionist said she would check on the TV. She called beck several minutes later and said they could not fix it. No soap in the shower.

All was ok. In room coffee was poorly stocked. Room door was not sealed at all, showing light, allowing dirt, bugs, wind to come through on all four sides.

Everything is fine except I have to go back twice to the front desk because our key card isn't working then turned out it was the main door censor isn't working. Other than that, it was all good.

I like staying here but for some reason, the shower didn't work and about time I checked in had dinner and found out the shower was not working, I didn't want anyone coming to try and fix it so late in the evening. Also, the TV in the living room wasn't working. That is the only reason for the 3 stars. Again, I like staying here...

Room was great. Pool looked very clean but I didn’t get to enjoy this time around. Location worked and it was quiet at night.

Room is simple but clean. There is a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. However one day they never cleaned the room…worse, they took used towels and never replaced.

Tiny stuff like replace the door rubber to keep seal around the door tight. The grounds and staff were very professional and well kept. Very accommodating and helpful.

I had a great experience. The front desk concierge is friendly and welcoming. The place is well lit up and it was very quiet. The rooms are very clean. I will continue to stay here when I need to come into town.

The front desk staff were very professional. The room was spacious , very clean and comfortable. Nice mini fridge and a microwave. We really enjoyed the hot tub. The pool and the hot tub are well maintained, clean, and the perfect temperature. Lots of wonderful restaurants and shops within walking distance. We definitely will stay here again.

Parking is tight but adequate. Location is good. Pool appeared good. This is a very bare bones motel directly under airport landing pattern. You will hear copters and planes a couple times a day We changed to redac gateway hotel in torrance for same price and it was a huge improvement.

Feels like it was recently remodeled. Very clean and well kept. Bed and pillows are very firm but that’s personal preference. AC units work very well. Clean and safe feeling neighborhood. My only negative was horrible water pressure in the shower. With that said, I’d still stay here again.

Needed to be near Torrance Memorial hospital and this was a good choice for us. Not that we used all the amenities nor were we here much, it was basically just for sleeping and cleaning up.

checked into my room and there were dead bugs along one wall and the ac would not come on. I walked out and they gave me another room and the ac stayed on 2 minutes before turning off. I was not in the room 5 minutes. They still charged me 1 night. I would not have stayed there if they comped my room for the 2 nights.

A poor attempt to upgrade a old motel 6 to a 3 star hotel..terrible job..needs more than a paint job and furniture..cob webs in the window..I checked in,inspected the room ,returned to the office told them I didn’t like the room and checked out..I was still charged for 2 days..

Nice hotel, clean, ALL staff were lovely, great price point for the amenities and walkability to many things. Easy check in/ out. Only issue (which is not Ramadas fault) was the screaming kids and parents all day at the pool and in their rooms. Because you have kids doesn't justify terrible behavior.

This property was close to the hospital wher my daughter gave birth to twins. We kept having to extend our stay due to twins being in the NICU longer than we thought. I had to go back and forth to the hospital and once was at midnight so it was really nice to be close. After my daughter was discharged and the babies still in nicu, I brought her to the hotel to rest. At 6pm they were doing construction work above us and waking my daughter up. I called front desk and they took care of it promptly. Overall I had 3 different rooms for 8 nights. The rooms were clean, convenient and served its purpose. I liked that they had someone clean the room everyday too. You don’t always see that anymore. Walls are thin but having the fan on drowned out any noise. Friendly front desk staff and very helpful. Parking can be tight with big work trucks in parking lot or people parking crooked so you can’t get in a spot. Only once did I not get to park near my room.

Easy and comfortable stay for a quick one night stay. The staff was accommodating to our early arrival and took into consideration that we had a large event to attend to that day. Property is on a busy street but very quiet and plenty of parking on premises. Tons of grocery stores, restaurants and other convenient shopping in the area within 2-5 min drive. Would stay here again.

We had stayed here before. Quiet area

We were in town for a concert so I didn't need anything fancy. But maybe I should have done a little more homework. The property was not as clean as would have liked. In fact, we had to change rooms due to what I discovered in the bed after I had already laid down after a long drive. Glad my family didn't lay down nor get bitten. The room we moved to was a little cleaner, but smaller beds. So needless to say, we were looking forward to returning home.

The property was clean and had a super easy check-in/check-out process. It was conveniently located and the front desk staff was very nice. Although the hotel is dated, it was pleasant and a good place to stay for the weekend.

The turn down service was amazing

The hotel is quite old (1950s) but updated on the inside but there's a lack of electrical outlets at the nightstands or near the desk for using a laptop, etc. The furniture is mostly old and quite used. The refrigerators have seen better days and only some have the little freezers (to keep ice packs or burritos frozen). However, for $100 a night, the beds are good enough, the rooms are generally clean enough, there's a nice pool and jacuzzi but I didn't try either. The staff are all very nice and helpful, especially my man George. Awesome service George.

Please replace the "fabric" shower curtains with something that's waterproof. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor due to the fabric shower curtain. Do this and I'll give a 5 star rating.

Overall, a nice decent stay, conveniently located, reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the littering of empty beer bottles around the property and smell of marijuana smoke are not pleasant. Walls are also very thin, we have stayed here a handful of times, and every time we have stayed here, people next door are having sex, you can hear all the noise, from bed and mattress noises to voices. Otherwise, still an overall okay stay. The reasonable price makes up for the unpleasant environmental and noisy experience.

Reception guy is so mean and rude to me

I was very surprised by this property. It had a pool and hot tub very convenient walkable to nearly everything in the area. Very easy parking and incredibly clean rooms and friendly front desk staff. I would recommend this property to anybody visiting or that may be going on a cruise. It is a very short 15-minute cab or Uber ride to the world cruise center in San Pedro. So please if you want a good, reasonable cost-effective place to stay for a night or two, pick this location it's great

It was good. Old motel that has been redone. Two floors, no elevator. Laundry available, parking near room. Well lighted parking lot. No breakfast or coffee; just in room. Microwave and refrigerator in room. Comfortable KS bed, solid surface flooring, fresh paint, good blinds, walk-in shower. Comfortable, clean.

There was no soap at the bathroom sink, only one drinking cup. Someone’s dog barked thru the night. Heater made loud noise every time it came on. Linoleum floor was coming apart. Could not access safe due to where it was. No closet in handicap room.

It’s an old property on a busy street but they have done a good job of maintaining. Nice size room. Happy that the sink is outside bathroom. Shower was great for older people to not have to climb in and out of tub: walk-in with only a couple inches to step over. Not very soundproof though.

This is in a nicer area which feels safer, however the parking is really hard for full size vehicles or trucks, unless you want to park a little away from your room. The rooms are nice enough, clean and smells good. The walls are basically made of paper though so you can hear your neighbors snoring. The pool and hot tub are great. Ask for more towels.

The furniture is old and beat up. Looks like it came from a thrift store. The exterior needs a new paint job. It's an old hotel from the 50s. Has potential to have a cool vibe but needs a designer that knows what they're doing with MCM style. Otherwise, decent for the price.

Everything was very nice except for the wifi signal in the room, was very bad, and since I had to work, that was very inconvenient.

maintenance had to find a key to let us back in. Can't say I'm ever going to return to this hotel in the future, simply not worth the slightly cheaper price in the end. Only pro was the quality of the towels.
