Econo Lodge Long Beach I-405

The price was acceptable, but when I checked in, the front desk informed me of a $100 deposit charge after I had already paid the full amount. I paid the total cost, so I was confused about the purpose of the $100 deposit, which I understand is refundable.

Room had bugs. Moved bed to catch bug never cleaned under bed. Bathroom had black mold. Furniture had nicks and scrapes. Would never go back.

This is a very minimal older motel. No closet to hang clothes. Battered furniture, chipped wall paint, poor air conditioning no elevator and you can truly hear who is next door. The staff were pleasant, the towels soft and the bed slept okay.

The staff was very courteous & the room was very clean. The complimentary breakfast was more like a quick grab snack such as fruit, energy bars, granola bar, mini cookies, sunny d, etc... other than that it was a peaceful & quiet stay

The staff was helpful in finding a space for parking. But parking was terrible. Very small driveway and parking spaces. The breakfast was a choice of a twinkle, cupcakes, Ausie bar, bananas, cutie oranges, coffee, and SunnyD.

The bed was comfortable. Room was very clean. Room size was larger than expected. Continental breakfast was more of just a snack. Staff was not helpful. We had a bathroom light bulb go out and we asked to have it replaced and they didnt have someone to do it so offered to change to new room but we were 2 days in and already settled in room. Would have been nice to have an armchair or small loveseat in room so when in room had a place to sit and relax.

Staff was amazing, super sweet! We stayed with them for Warped Tour and we were able to check in early and check out late. THANK YOU FOR THAT!! Sure, the beds weren't the comfiest but I'll still stay with them next year. To me, it's worth it for the price. :)

This hotel is convenient to a lot of Long Beach. Free parking and safe.

Worked for what we needed and staff was super friendly!

Located near the Long Beach Traffic Circle made it easy to drive to any place in Long Beach. The exterior is mission style architecture so it is not beautiful but I don’t spend time looking at the outside. The interior of my room was one of the most beautiful ones that I have stayed in for many years. The manager was extremely helpful.

The room was nasty looks like one of those where people leave in. Toilet was not clean on bottom or inside sink, bed, shower had a hair, floor, ice bucket and the curtain was dusty and very visible to the eye

It said free continental breakfast but there was only coffee and cookies. Also, the mattress was as hard as a brick.

The bedding was not clean...the walls were not either. I was was staying longer I would have found a different place to stay.

There is no sound proofing so could hear all the traffic and noise from the other guest in the hotel. The AC unit when turned on smelled of urine. The floor appeared to have water damage and was warped. There were also several cockroaches.

This was not a very nice place. If you use hotels.com and you get a discount, they will stick you in the worst room on the property.

It is an ECONOlodge. Inexpensive but don’t ask for much. The beds were clean but the building has seen better days. Good for a sleepover if you missed your flight.

Dirt floors. My socka were literally black. No balnkets on beds only sheets. Beds were so uncomfortable cpuls feel the srpings. Dont know how thia hotel is even on the app.

The street at night is so dark, and the roads inside the hotel are narrow. Only three parking spots in the front of all the rooms, so make parking inconvenient.

My stay was amazing. The front desk was very helpful with all my questions and immediate service. I stayed here at 211 during thanksgiving weekend and could not have asked for better staff.the room had a microwave annd mini fridge in amazing retro style. The bathroom was very clean. Everyone was very nice and the continental breakfast was great.

Towels were dirty! Kept calling us about checking out when we told them we were getting ready to leave running a bit late by 20 minutes. Room smelled like smoke in a non smoking room.

It’s false advertising, it says on the website free continental breakfast but it’s only coffee & some cookies. Towels not clean and had stain on it. I’m not coming back again on this hotel😢😢😢

We asked the clerk for clean beddings and he said that they didn't have any because they were in storage and he didnt know when the only guy with a key would be back. He did eventually find sheets that we used to cover the disgusting beds. The towel racks in the bathroom were so rusted they were broken. Instead of replacing them they screwed a metal strip onto them so they didn't comepletely fall off. When we moved the tray with the coffee maker a cockroach ran out from behind it. The company websight says that you only need to ask the front desk if you want the room cleaned when you are gone so we asked the clerk for cleaning. The room was never cleaned. During the night somebody parked in the no parking section so the stairs and the wheel chair ramp were blocked so none of the clients could get to their cars without going around to the front of the building. The manager was on duty that morning so I told him sbout the car. He said he would take care of it. It turns out it was the manager who had parked his car in the no parking space When i told him about all the problems we had he only said " Im sorry but they don't pay me enough to care." We will never stay with this chain again.

When we arrived in our room it was absolutely disgusting there were papers from previous guests, black stains on both beds tv didnt work , so we went up to the desk and got another room . Same thing .black stains on the beds damaged to all the furniture to the floor . So we decide to get a refund to go to another hotel . They refuse to give back our 100 deposit . And would not let me talk to the manger of the hotel . Absolutely the worst experience ever in a hotel .

After a long red-eye flight, we got to this hotel at 1 am. They were super friendly but the room was really dirty. The floors and baseboards were filthy. When we pulled the sheets on the bed back, it looked as if someone emptied a dustbin in the bed. Hair and dirt under the covers. I don't think it was on purpose at all, but that doesn't matter. You can't sleep in a bed full of that. So, we asked for our money back and left. They refunded everything but $100. So we essentially paid $100 to sit in on of their hotel rooms for an hour. We found a much better place to stay in the middle of the night.

Front desk clerk is a nice man. He was friendly. We got to our room, it was nice and clean. Down the street is a thrift store with a pharmacy in it. Theres also a liquor store if you need one. All within walking distance. Decent area. Not bad at all. This is my second time staying here and i would stay here again.

I did not like that guest upstairs where playing loud music and seems like they where jumping or dancing because it was alot of footsteps. Guest were running up and down stairs and seemed drunk so talking load. Walls and flooring very thin so you can hear all the noise. I had to check out the room at 1am because i could not sleep.

It was difficult checking in. I slid my card at least 5 times. Now I am being charged twice for one stay.

I was expecting the room to be freshened up while we were gone for the day but it never happened. On a better note the location was excellent except for the noise. Centrally located and not from the freeways and the Pacific Ocean.

Decent place, clean and in decent shape. Bed was not good. Room was large and clean. Good for a quick overnight. Economic was the key. “ breakfast” wasn’t until 7am, had to leave for airport before then. Could have easily put some food out earlier for travelers. Road noise was there, but not too bad. I’d stay again, but prob wouldn’t take the family there. Fridge and micro in room were good.

The front desk was extremely rude. He tried to charge me twice for a room I already paid for. He would listen to anything I said. I had to call Hotels.com and they had to change the whole hotel. What horrible is that he was trying to charge me a different price that the actual room was and lied and said he was never paid. Hotels.com was great and made it easy for me to get a room last min that was only 10 mins away and called and confirmed with the hotel

You get what you pay for here. Bathrooms are very clean and renovated, but bed and television and end tables are kinda shabby. If you stay in a room facing the street, the traffic sounds like it's right outside your door.

The handicap parking was for their employees only with no handicap sign on their vehicle and we were told we could not park there. The bed was old and falling apart with lots of noise come from every movement you made.

I liked the bed, sink and tv. I didn't like that there was no light in the bathroom. I would push the on switch and it would Flicker and never turn on.

I didn’t like how the hotel was set up. Busy street right in front, I was not able to sleep AT ALL. It felt as if the busy street was right outside my room. Very loud and disturbing. Hotel should really look into having sound proof or atleast some sort of noise deletion with their walls. Very very unsatisfied especially for the price..

Terrible parking. Rooms were odd. Bathroom was in need of remodeling and updating. Heater was noisy.

Steep stairs to room and no elevator. Even parking is a problem because it is down a slope on lower level and no handrails. Should have warning for handicapped renters.

Everything seemed ok, room clean and continental food was just ok. Not to mention no bed bugs, one of my biggest fears. My downfall was, being that we got there past 6 o'clock, the morning employee couldnt let us check out till noon. He gave us till 11:30 due to other guest arriving by 3. I didn't think it took 3 hours to clean a room. #reallydude

The room was nice. Unfortunately the people above me were up all night playing music and stomping they’re feet all night. Did not get much sleep! The parking lot is tiny, but everything else was okay. Not worth the money though!

large enough room not a comfy bed and sink pipe was spraying water all over the floor and all over my feet it was great and hotel didnt care when i told them about it. the next morning i was hungry and there was no free breakfast how they charged me $100 for this terrible experience is a rip off imo

The bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor and the parking spaces and the carport were hard to get to/through especially at night and if you have a truck. But the staff were nice and cleanly.

It’s Cool, clean and the staff was nice. Only here for one night but it seems like a quiet area. There is a Jack in The Box on the corner so it’s a short walk for a late night snack.

Booked this room thru expedia, when my daughter and her kids landed at LAX they went straight to the hotel to rest and NO ROOM!!!!! The hotel HAD NO RECORD OF THE RESERVATION EVEN THO WE HAD A CONFIRMATION #. SHE HAD TO FIND ANOTHER HOTEL AND ROOM, AS THIS HOTEL WAS SOLD OUT ACCORDING TO THE STAFF. Never Again!!!

The bed felt like a box spring without the mattress. The employee at the front desk had minimal social skills, was fairly creepy, and the breakfast was not a breakfast (the person at the front desk put out the food and didn’t wash his hand or use gloves).

The people were nice but the room was really small and the wood floors were dirty. Their was a big gap between the bed and head board(not safe). Some of the towels were dirty and has hair on them. Finally the blanket had a hole in it. The price I paid I don’t believe it was worth it.

I would not recommend, especially for what they charge not even decent, place was dusty around the side wall of bed and walls, sheets didn't look clean, while showering the water didn't drain stands In the rub. Low class for the area they are in.Very dissatisfied.
