Quiet Luxury & exquisite beach on site with excellent beach service.

A great place to enjoy your vacation on a beautiful seashore with mild wind and a great sunset view. The staffs are very polite,efficient, and professional. In-room amenties are so great - you will have washer and dryer with laundry detergent provided, full function kitchen as well. Can't expect more. The only thing that the management should take care of is the elevator (I was in Building 4), as I met 3 down time of that elevator during my 3 nights stay. I am OK with that, but if senior visitors who have to rely on elevators to go up and down, that will be an inconvenience. Another small issue is in-room doors to the balcony -- very tight and needs a lot of power to open / close. Perhaps it needs to be lubricated? After all, a fantastic experience, and I will be happy to visit there again!

King suite was an excellent upgrade from a standard hotel room with a great kitchen, huge bathroom and large balcony.

I received a pedicure while a guest there. My pedicurist was a lot of fun. I relaxed, & we laughed a lot. SHe was professional, positive, and fun. The pedicure was pretty good, but the experience was excellent.

We didn't care of the bait and switch at the spa. Did not receive the treatment requested and was charged for add ons that we were not aware of. We purposely did not book a spa treatment the second time we stayed due to this reason. In addition, the upkeep of the room was lacking. For the price of the rooms there should not be missing tiles in the shower now an unrepaired leak that caused damage in the baseboards outside the shower We are designers of kitchens and baths as well as rental property owners. This is unacceptable for such a high end resort.

This used to be our private get away - looks like the word is out and EVERYONE brought their kids. Our room was next to a tyrannical screaming two year old boy whose parents could have cared less. Front office was incredibly generous at finding us a new room (with upgraded suite) and a bar credit. Props to the staff as they got through a tough March -

The Rent A Car company -Priceless- was a disaster and ripoff. Located off-airport in a seedy area. Still waiting for reimbursement of $350 extra insurance they required. I’ve never had to provide a copy of the insurance before. Also lied about the need for an Ez pass @ $10.99/ day. Claimed we couldn’t pay at the toll booth. Not true. Took photos to prove. They are not returning my calls. Several travelers refused the extra payments and walked out. Wish we had. Expedia has not helped. Can’t get past AI BOTS. No more Expedia.

The staff is all so friendly and accommodating. We also enjoyed our suite on the beach very much. They were even so kind as to upgrade us to a better view since it was our anniversary. We will be coming back.

Everything Perfect!

Staff was nice. The room was clean. The food is subpar for the hotel price (worst avocado toast in my life, and a burger that was mostly grease). Also, you should warn people when there is a beach wedding. it was really loud, and drunk guests were extra loud when back in their rooms. I didn't sleep the second night because of that.

Friendly staff

The resort was under construction, we had to pay for an upgrade to not be in a building with parking lot and roof construction all day, that room had NO working air conditioning, the gentleman at front desk seemed annoyed to accommodate. Would not recommend.

Short 4 night break, in from UK. 2nd time at Longboat Key Resort and would come again for sure. Bldg3 5th floor room. Well equipped, nothing to complain about. Didn’t use the Spa or gym on this trip.

The room and view was gorgeous. The accommodations are fantastic. The hotel is 20 minutes from our favorite Italian restaurant, Marcello’s. ❤️

The staff was very professional and friendly. Unfortunately the two TVs in our suite had issues with properly accessing the signal, which was problematic at times. House engineer blamed cable company, but regardless FIX IT. The front desk felt our pain and did provide two comps for free drinks and appetizers for two days. Also was disappointed to see demolition work in progress in the satellite parking lot, by our building....noisy teardown and dumptrucks aren't my idea of an idyllic vacay. I would go back but not during deconstruction activity which the property should have advised ahead of time. All in all a pleasant stay and the Longboat Key area has alot of great restaurants to get off property!!

The island is definitely very pretty. The golf courses were amazing and the marina was beautiful.The staff were incredibly kind, gracious, and attentive. I tried several restaurants and was quite disappointed in the food. I was also a little surprised at the caliber of some of the other guests. The property is a little bit older. Despite this, it’s kept up well however, for the price, there are nicer resorts only one elevator worked my entire stay even some of the staff remarked on how long it was taking to get things fixed. The actual members seemed a little bit snobby, which I found surprising.

The cabana staff was top Notch ! Demar and his team took care of me for 3 days! The hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating. The private beach was beautiful!

They did not place us the main hotel. Our room was in an adjacent building similar to a Motel 6. Parking was closed off with big dumpsters in the lot. Elevator had broken floor and missing tiles. The grounds are not taken care of, weeds everywhere, mud and sand on the walkways. they charge for chairs on the beach. I can understand charging for cabanas ($1,200) seriously? Food options are limited. Paid over $800.00 for a one night staycation. definitely not worth it.

What an amazing place. Perfect location on a beautiful white sandy beach with sand dunes hiding the buildings. Great staff, all very attentive and friendly, and it was genuine rather than forced. Great places to eat on site and close by, we’ll definitely be back again.

Resort was nice, but housekeeping was not timely. Refrigerator was broken and kept us up at night until we unplugged it. While the resort and pool was nice, a much better value for price point could have been had nearby.

The property is beautiful and conveniently close to many shops and dining options. The staff is absolutely beyond expectations. They were all welcoming, friendly and extremely helpfull. The location is perfect, especially since we have are traveling with our two kids (10 y/o and 2 y/o). We will definitely return for a longer stay.

Great complex for the price, friendly staffs and very accommodating. The breezeway elevators are very slow and get very hot, they should add air conditioning to the elevators in the breezeway it can be health hazard if anyone gets stuck inside.

We had a wonderful girl’s getaway. It was such a beautiful property! The staff catered to our every need. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the beach. The cabanas, umbrellas, and lounge chairs were delightful. We relaxed while gazing at the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico.

Great service and really nice people. Pool small relative to the size of the resort and limited on site places to eat but plenty in town.

The service was ok. We expected little more friendly and helpful attitude.

We enjoyed being so close to the ocean but the red tide limited how long we could be outdoors. That's nature and not able to control.

The resort is heaven on earth. We had a blast, per usual. Terry the pro and Phil J the starter were extremely welcoming and helpful. The courses are the best I have ever played and they maintain them like a PGA event was being held there soon. I can’t say enough about how spectacular everything there is. It is the only place I will stay and play in the US. Pull the trigger and enjoy. Thank me later

Great place to have a relaxing vacation

The beach and room are unique.

Overall it was a decent place. AC didn’t work very well in our room and we had some ants in the room. They also need to change their policy for the beach. They give you two chairs but then want to charge $25 for an umbrella. If you are paying $600-$1000 a night it is ridiculous to have to pay extra for an umbrella on the beach.

The staff was very friendly, rooms were spacious and comfortable, grounds/ beach were beautiful. Very kid friendly which was great for our 2 year old. If your looking to stay in the area, this is the best spot hands down. It is pricey but you get what you pay for.

Had a perfect weekend

Just a few negatives. I did not like being prompted to give a tip for use of paddle board to the employees before service was provided. To top it off they never brought the paddle board after waiting an hour and I had to ask Management to reverse the charge to our room. We did not have a dishwasher in our room and had no way of cleaning our dishes and house keeping left them in a dirty glass filled with water. I asked for something to clean our dishes with and house keeping offered us a dish washer capsule. However, there was not a dishwasher in our room so it was of no use. So we had to clean our dishes the best we knew bc they did not bring us clean dishes. I hope they cleaned them for the next guest. I did like receiving text from management about our stay just about everyday. Management was very helpful and polite.

We stayed in building 6/7, which was a lagoon view, not the high rise towers. From our building, we saw both manatees and dolphins in the lagoon, which was lovely. If we had neighbors, we didn't hear them. We had everything we needed in the unit, including a washer/dryer which was amazing with young kids. The kitchen was perfect. Easy access to pool and beach, and the beach was great for kids. Cons: beach had quite a bit of litter, and I wish staff would be better about cleaning up throughout the day (even better if patrons would just control their own trash). The pool was littered with plastic cups by the end of the day. In terms of cleanliness, the lobby was beautiful, and the room was too, but really needed a very deep clean in all the nooks and crannies. There were also some windows in weird places (with clouded glass so not functional) that obviously were not removed when the units were renovated. It just made the bathroom area feel kind of janky. Would come back, but not at full price.

It’s beautiful. No question. But take away the beach and it’s just ok. Clean and gorgeous view, but spa was booked, restaurants booked, you have to drive or be taken to different places, and two simple drinks at pool bar were $35 before tip. Wish I had spent a couple hundred more for Ritz Carlton.

Resort is beautiful. Tim at the front desk is incredible and very accommodating. He really made our stay wonderful. Only thing was the cockroach that we woke up to. It also took 3 hours for housekeeping to come get it after we thought we killed it, threw a towel over it and Waited for housekeeping. The bar/restaurant staff is great. Food is 2/10 although presentation of food is great but lacking in flavor. Also our shower was down for a bit but someone came quickly to fix it. No biggie. Beach is gorgeous and golf course is beautiful. Would stay there again however kinda concerned about the roaches, which I understand happens but it was definitely a down to the trip and staff could of handled it better.

The property is exquisite. It is also very expensive. I can think of a couple tweaks but overall it is a very luxurious resort, the beach is beautiful, the lagoon has dolphins, the pool area is perfect and the service is excellent. you get what you pay for!

Wonderful resort! Friendly, welcoming, helpful staff. Truly top notch. We visited during an unusual cold spell and still had a fabulous time. The beach is beautiful and the resort is close to great shopping and restaurants at St. Armands if you want to venture out. Our suite was overlooking the lagoon and it was beautiful and quiet with a full kitchen, plenty of storage and large balcony. We had a great stay!

This location is perfect.

Great resort and staff. Just two issues. Icemaker in refrigerator did not work and the heating system was off and on. We visited on an unusually cold weekend for Florida and the heating system would only work for a few hours after being reset by the maintenance person. This created a major issue. The resort personnel responded to each request for assistance but the problem should have been fixed.

What a beautiful place, everyone constantly asked if we needed anything, could they help etc. The staff remembered our names even thou this was our first stay there. The place is so clean. Lovely beach and pool area.

Perfect condo - location, views, ease of getting around.

The resort was perfect for our 25th Wedding Anniversary! They made the stay exceptional with the hospitality and strawberries and champagne in our room. The resort was beautiful and everything we had hoped!

The property is nice, however, the area of the pool does not have enough umbrellas and people had to fight for a few available umbrellas. The hotel staff blamed a storm that happened months ago for the lack of umbrellas, did not make sense. The worse part was a sand fly infestation, the flies could not be seen so no way to know where they were but they will eat you alive. When I asked the staff what was happening, they said that they knew about it, I surely wished they had told us so we could prepared and use repellent. We could not sleep!!. For 10 days after we came back, we could not sleep because of the itching. We even had to use steroids. There was a lot of death fish in the beach, I know that is not their fault but they did not bother to clean. Its not worth the price, won't go back.

Our stay was great. We honeymooned at the Long Boat Key Club 35 years ago and it was great to be back. Wonderful time.

Everything was as expected.

The pool was ok. I think too small for it to be a resort. I guess people come for the beach. But at this time they had red tide. The beach stunk and too many dead fish. Of course the kids are crowded at the small pool. Granting red tide is beyond the resort’s control but I think they should give people some sort of discount for the room rate. We booked the resort for the beach and paid a steep price for the room. Not much for choice of food. There’s a small bar by the pool and a pricey restaurant meal on site. Been to other expensive resorts with so many food and restaurants to choose from. We ordered Uber food because we didn’t like what they have on site and then got told off. I honestly didn’t know it was forbidden. But when you have not a variety of food to choose from- how can you demand that guests only eat food off what is served at your small bar and one restaurant? Overall it was OK but won’t go back. We’ve had more fun and better resort amenities in Destin and Panama beaches .

We had a great time overall! I didn’t like that we didn’t get cleaning services daily and we paid extra for a beach view and we got a pool view mostly with a slight beach view. Overall We had a great time and would go back with a few minor changes!

Family suite was perfect for four of us… very spacious, lots of closet space, well appointed. Beach was fantastic… well manicured, chairs and umbrellas always available, gradual slope into clear water made it easy for kids and adults. Bar and restaurant service was excellent… friendly, attentive, and very good food at both restaurants on property.
