This place was very misleading online. It said full kitchen. Had 2 small skillets but no cooking size utensils. We had 5 people and had to text for towels the 1st day. They said we would have bedding for the pull out couch and there were none. When we called the lady asking bout more towels and the beach towels she said online we would have, she laughed at me and said no one ever actually uses the pull out couch. The housekeeper did bring us towels, for 1 day. So in Tuesday we texted her again for towel and owner says o my housekeeper is off today, we'll bring them tomorrow. We were at the beach all day, we needed towels. She's caoos me with an attitude and says I'll just give u the code for the cabinets. Wednesday we get back from an excursion still no towels. She gives me an attitude about it again. we ended up just using the washer and dryer they provided to wash our own own towels which was ridiculous. We also asked about extra pillows she said there is enough for 5 people there were 6 big ones and throw pillows. Also, online stated there was 1 king bed, one pull out and 2 queens. The queens were double twins. Again she laughed at me and said well those sizes are the regulated standard ones. Very misleading on her part what was included. The only thing good was the ac and no bugs. Very disappointed in this place and the ride owner.

The location is great. The staff is hard to reach. There is no amenities…

Todo
- 4/5
Decent room, like a cheap motel. There's no sign out front so i drive by it the first time. Best thing about it was the location. I only stayed one night but it was walking distance (10min) to St Armands circle for shops and eateries. I drove to my kayak tour launch but you could walk there too.
- 5/5
Very nice and cozy place.
- 3/5
Parking great. Air conditioning fine
- 5/5
Location grea
- 2/5
Way overpriced for what you don’t get. The room smelled so bad when we first walked in and even with the windows open it never truly smelled okay. TV didn’t work. Not many towels. Bathroom was filthy.
- 5/5
Nice island
- 4/5
La Habitación estaba limpia el Aire acondicionado enfría muy Bien .se ve más grande en las Fotos.Su mayor valor lo da la cercanía a la Playa y a Saint Armands .En General estuvo muy Bien.
- 5/5
Perfect location to walk to beach and St Armand’s Circle
- 5/5
Very easy parking.
- 4/5
On site parking. Short walk to the beach. Air conditioning nice. A little smaller than expected but overall good
- 4/5
Comfy beds, pillows, AC and much more. Great location
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Clean, quiet, parking is available and 2 minutes walk to the beach literally right around the corner.
- 3/5
Entire place needs a full remodeling. Uncontrollable HVAC. Would totally ignore any temperature setting. Bathroom musky smell. Limited amount of kitchenware, questionable cleanliness.
- 2/5
Parking was ok full lot by evening, AC worked great however, we had some chilly temp’s roll in and there was no heat available, in room temps around 60 degrees for a few nights. In sort this establishment needs some TLC. I would not stay here again.
- 3/5
There was no kitchen, only s mi crowave sitting on a small refrigerator in a closet with the hot water tank. And a coffee maker you could put on the microwave to use if you unplugged the microwave because there was only one outlet.
- 5/5
The owner not only provided me with a reservation within an hour but is the nicest person I’ve met in Florida. This is such a great place to stay when you just need a little quiet space to be. I can’t thank you enough.
- 5/5
Very nice place. Not fancy but great location
- 5/5
Habitation limpia, la señora de la limpieza maravillosa Parking gratis a un block de la playa y Puedes Camino hasta circle St Armands Regresaria con seguridad
- 3/5
The fan had a clicking noise because the blade hit 2 screws. We couldn’t use it so it was hot in the room. The lamp needs to be fixed as well
- 1/5
Black ants in kitchen and bathroom, toilet stopped working, trouble opening and locking the door, couch cover and throw pillows very dingy/old/worn, only one roll of TP provided, insufficient towels provided, overall the property is not well maintained- I would not stay again even though the location is good
- 5/5
Spotless
- 2/5
no wash cloths, no face tissues , did not sign up for pittie rm but that is what we got, very poor lighting, do I need to say more
- 4/5
Facilities were clean. Wouldn't call it impeccable. But it was a good value and the location is great as it's 1 block to the beach. That's what we came for, so it served us well.
- 5/5
My partner and I stayed here for her birthday, and it was amazing! It’s only about an 8-minute walk to St. Armands Circle and even less to the beach. The space was clean and comfortable—definitely a 10/10 stay. Some of the appliances could use an upgrade, but we were told that renovations were already underway during our visit, so I can’t wait to see the updates next time. We even tried to extend our stay, but the secret is clearly out about this place—it was fully booked! We’re already looking forward to coming back.
- 3/5
The small room was overpriced!
- 5/5
Nice area, short distance to beach and Saint Armands circle. Family oriented. I would come back.
- 4/5
Very convenient location. Walking distance to beach and shopping. Staff very kind and responsive. Challenge finding electrical outlets to recharge devices.
- 5/5
We had such a great little getaway! The location was perfect — close to the beach and all the nice restaurants, which made everything super convenient. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing stay. The lady who was cleaning was so kind and helpful during check-in, which made us feel very welcome. It was me, my daughter, and two of her friends, and we all had the best time. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Old but clean and functional. Close to beach and Armond Circle. Good value for money.
- 5/5
It was good, we checked in super late. Everything was clean.
- 4/5
Excellent location and nice place. We did have issues with the living room light not wanting to stay off. Maybe another light on the same frequency in another unit? Also, the shower handle was completely broken off and there was no drain hardware. The shower was usable, but could use some work.
- 5/5
The staff was very nice the place Was near by the beach, restaurants and shopping center everything was so nice and beautiful experience.
- 5/5
What a wonderful little hotel right in heart of Saint Armands Circle. Added bonus is the wonderful housekeeping staff. Definitely would recommend Lido Islander Inn.
- 5/5
I loved how cute the room was and how close it was to the beach. There was a lot of sight seeing at night and we had a great time. Only issue we had was the ac face plate didn’t work but we got it adjusted. I would highly recommend this hotel
- 5/5
Location is great!
- 5/5
Property is a great area near the beach less than 5 minutes walking distance. Only complaint i have is the shower looks old and in bad shape. Other than that we loved out stay and will come back again soon
- 3/5
When i arrived here Friday night there were Matteras at the street entrance. The TV in the room did not work. The parking lot Is not paved like it shows on hotels.com and the Area where the grilles are overgrown.
- 3/5
When i got there, 3 or4 Matteras were at the street because the county didnt pick them up. The TV didnt work and thats a disappointment. For what they charged it puts a bad taste in my mouth on Airbnbs, so we go 3 times a year and will definitely stay in a hotel. I feel like i didnt get what i paid for
- 5/5
Very good
- 3/5
4A had an unusual odor the did not go away. Although the place seemed tidy, the floors were sandy and gritty. Bedding smelled stale and unwashed. The bed side lamp will easily tip over if not careful turning on and off. Water from shower and bathroom sink had an odor. We had lost power on first night from about 11pm until the next morning. Communication wasn’t great. Sent text about losing power at 6:32am, no response until 11:08am. Did not lose power again after that. Refrigerator was small but kept food cold even during outage. AC finally got to temp during the night and very grateful that AC stayed on all night throughout outage.
- 2/5
TV did not work,no one ever in "office" you had to do all by phone, very small.
- 4/5
Close to shopping and the beach
- 5/5
This was perfect for my family. We stayed in one of the condos so we had a kitchen and living room space. The facility isn't manned by in person staff so don't expect your room to be cleaned every day, but I prefer it that way. Very close to the beaches and a two minute drive to the local shops and restaurants.
- 5/5
Host was amazing! Can walk 2 blocks to lido beach and to St. Armand’s circle which has lots of dining and shopping.
- 4/5
Excellent location; short walking distance to the beach.
- 3/5
Great location of block and a half from the beach we were able to walk with our things which was a huge plus. The room was Florida fifties style somewhat upgraded but it needed a lot of minor TLC like repainting baseboards and providing small rugs to help deal with the sand for the parking lot. I operate a 50s era apartment as a vacation rental for half the price of this unit and double the size and I provide a lot better amenities like making sure there are bath mats and small area rugs and handy cleaning supplies to help guests manage the inevitable sand and dirt you get in a property like this those were missing and it made my review negative. The operator could spend maybe another 10 bucks a night Max to significantly upgrade this venue. Even then a lot of people would find this small room to be unusable because the mini kitchen and closet are shared space with the air conditioner and water heater. Personally I didn't have a problem with that but a lot of people would. This ought to be pointed out up front on the website
- 2/5
It was spacious. But falling apart. The tub had rusted a hole and water drained out there when you showered and water was all over bathroom floor and under master bedroom floor. Ac kept shutting off, and windows do not close to keep ac in .
- 4/5
It was ok
- 4/5
Need to Fix bathroom sink drain
- 5/5
All the reviews about this property owner being the Hostess with the Mostest are 100% on point. I made a very last minute reservation which she accommodated with the utmost grace. When the neighboring room kept me awake, she moved me to a different, quieter room. Again, with nothing but the utmost grace. The room was clean and tidy, the bed oh-so-comfortable. I will be back on my next trip to Sarasota. Thank you so much for the over the top hospitality. God bless you and your family.
- 5/5
The area is very quiet and walkable distance to the beach. They provide 2 beach towels but they are standard towel size I recommend you bring your own. They do provide the very little sitting beach chairs. I definitely recommend the place for a short getaway.
- 4/5
Didn’t mind it at all. Close to the beach. Price point seemed a little off but the area really was beautiful
- 5/5
We liked the location. Its close to the beach and St Armands Square where there are restaurants and entertainment.
- 5/5
Our room was nicer than I expected, after reading several of the reviews. AC worked fine, shower water was cool, but weather was hot so we didn't mind. Hotel provides beach chairs, which we used and appreciated. Beach parking lots were packed, so we loved the location of the hotel. We would definitely stay here again--much cheaper than nearby alternatives.
- 3/5
Shower would not change to faucet, rust in the bathtub; no paper towels in the kitchen, no coffee filters
- 5/5
Everything was perfect! And one of the best things was the owner's understanding and help. Also, the great and nicest Alma orienting me about the area and more. I truly recommend this place for a very pleasant stay!!
- 4/5
Three star resort in a 5 star location.......basic clean resort with few extras but within walking distance of st armands circle.....no extra parking fees!
- 5/5
and some outlets had no covers on them. Overall would stay again for price and location.
- 4/5
Communication was great! This is a very simple basic place to stay for the night. It is walking distance to the beach. The room was very small, but perfect just for one night. Parking was great and safe.
- 4/5
Needs an ice machine
- 2/5
Out dated
- 1/5
This property is not for a family vacation. The photos don't represent the facility. My 12 year old daughter cried herself to sleep the first night because she was terrified to sleep in the condo. Pull out bed from couch is not an option nor is the rollaway bed. It was springbreak 2025 so we were stuck with no options to relocate. We did see a cockroach in the master bathroom on our last night there. We did inform Patricia of this and she apologized and mentioned that the exterminator was out that week Wednesday and told her that the chemicals can make them active. Not even sure how much we paid for the week as it was wrapped into the overall cost of the trip. The location is good cause you can walk to the beach and the circle other than that we do not recommend this property. This property needs a large investment to improve it, if it weren't for the multi-million dollar homes around it, the property gives off stabby vibes.
- 2/5
Sink no drain cover, missing drawer in old bureau,tv not working, shower water lukewarm, towels old and flimsy, parking lot too small for vehicles, light bulbs not replaced, room too small for the price, casement windows could not be closed due to broken or missing handles, window blinds filthy, did not receive entry code at time promised,.this unit should not be in rental pool until significant rehabilitation.
- 3/5
Good location
- 3/5
Cons-Everywhere you look is evidence of trying to save money. No light bulbs in ceiling fan. Old mattress squeaked SO bad, woke us up when one got out during night and backache next day. 3 windows didn't close. Closet doors broken, old sofa squeaked badly and not comfortable. Bare minimum supplies. No beach towels as listed, beach chairs provided are small and uncomfortable. They did provide additional towels when requested later that day. Bathtub drained very slowly while showering. Make sure front door is locked when you leave by pulling the door tight while locking. If you know what you are getting ahead of time, it makes it better. If the price was right, I'd stay again, but would prefer to try something different first.
- 5/5
Wonderful, highly recommended!
- 5/5
They don’t have a Keurig just an old style Mr coffee didn’t like that Bathroom very old But it is clean and they are very nice
- 4/5
Quite and comfortable
- 4/5
Lovely place, plenty to do in the area. Outside seating area was tired looking though. A pool would be lovely here.
- 3/5
Outside appearance was not good. Spacious , clean . Not a great value
- 1/5
Size of a closet. No privacy. Did not stay and could not get any refund. Rented a nice hotel $100 cheaper. Never again.
- 5/5
Perfect location
- 4/5
The location is perfect. Just a short walk to the beach and right on the beach is a place to get food and drinks and a restroom. And Armand's Circle is very close also. It is a 15 min Uber ride into Sarasota. It was clean. It just needs a little updating. The shower was clean but the faucets were not completely attached to the wall and getting the temp just right or getting them to shut off was tricky, the toilet was newer tho and worked well. The towels were so thin and scratchy. The second bedroom had two twin beds with only a fitted sheet and a top sheet. Also very, very thin. The other bedroom with the king bed was made up with sheets, blanket and comforter and more pillows. The living room area was cute. We needed a few things and they were delivered to us promptly. So communication was good. Overall it was good. Had everything we needed and the location is amazing. They also have some little beach chairs you can take to the beach but no beach towels as advertised. Just needs a few more upgrades and some attention to the little things. Felt very safe in the location also.
- 3/5
The lights and the air conditioning in the rooms weren't working. The kitchen facilities were not very good.
- 2/5
The location of this motel is prime, it’s also an inexpensive option to stay on Lido. The hot water in the shower was luke warm, I did notify the manager- but it never got hot for our stay. The shower diverter is leaking badly causing low water pressure. There is not much, if any, insulation in this motel- extremely noisy, babies crying, people talking in the room above.. it was difficult to sleep. The duct tape on the windows to close the gap of them not closing correctly, allowed for the car traffic to be very noisy as well. The standard room barely fit two suitcases, can’t imagine what the petite room offered. The Comcast cable boxes need help, they are loose w/wires all over and they cut out. The remote doesn’t work to turn the TV on/off, but it did work to change channel so long as the cable box had a good connection. Although we left there in such a hurry, the cleaning lady was kind enough to take my husbands dress shirts from the closet that he accidentally left behind and keep them safe overnight until a friend was able to get them for us. We didn’t notice They were missing until we reached our next destination and the manager was responsive when I texted asking about having them picked up. So although we would not stay here in the future, I will say the staff was helpful when I contacted them about the clothing we left behind, and also helped explain how to get the tv to stay working.
- 3/5
The short walk to the beach was awesome. The property definitely needs some attention. Room was nice but could use updating. Lack of access to clean towels was unhandy.
- 2/5
Needs updated entrance door didnt lock to condo, no way to turn ceiling fans off, ceiling light in master turned on by itself no way to turn off, no fire alarm, tv was broken in master bedroom.
- 5/5
Simple, easy, and comfortable, walk one block to the beach, and a couple blocks to st armands. Great little spot for a weekend getaway.
- 5/5
Older property, but excellent location. Easy check in. Comfy bed. What more could I ask for?
- 1/5
I was immediately texted after booking with a “free upgrade” to a larger condo, this should have been a red flag. The space we were “upgraded” to did not have a functioning tub, so I asked to move. We were moved to a different condo, still not my original reservation: the space we moved in to also did not have a functioning tub, the cold water knob is literally coming out of the tile and the knob just spins but water does not come on, the heat does not work, there are no extra blankets in the rooms, and the bathroom window does not close. This is not a rentable space. Do not stay here with your family. It was clean but you can not shower and you can not sleep without blankets. I called the host and she explained the shower was from hurricane damage. I asked about the cold temperature and she informed me that the air was warm enough. I asked about blankets and she said there are extra in the closets (there are none). I asked about the bathroom window, and again, she said it is hurricane damage. I asked why she felt this space was rentable and her explanation was “there is another rental down the street for $400 a night. This isn’t the Ritz Carlton.” I explained that the Ritz Carlton is only great if you can shower and sleep there, you know, with blankets. I asked her to consider a refund and she told me I should have complained upon check-in, which was approximately 11pm.
- 2/5
Heat didn’t work the last night. The spigot from the shower was hanging off the wall and the handle to adjust the water temp was leaking right into the gap between the wall and spigot. The bathroom could have been much cleaner and mold was found where the vanities door opened at the hinge side. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and wasn’t wrapped to protect from bed begs. I was told there were 12 rooms and 12 parking spots, there were only 11, had to park in the street one night thankfully it was off season so not much traffic. Sign to business was gone after the storm. Wasn’t really sure we were at the right place initially. Property still needs a bit of cleanup outside. No room service so had to catch the person who flipped the rooms to ask for more coffee, only caught her one day. The location though, that’s the start of the show! Even after all of these things, we would stay again just for the location.
- 5/5
Great location, good service.
- 3/5
Bed is comfy and room is clean! Really clean..I always wear slippers in hotel rooms because the floors are never clean enough, but in this room you can have bare feet! The cons.. there are no bikes and no beach chairs. No coffee in room available even though a coffee maker. Microwave and fridge worked. But coffee is necessary. I would def stay again because of location cleanliness.
- 1/5
Upon arrival we found the bathroom floor so wet we had to dry it with one of the clean towels to prevent slipping. There were multiple flying bugs due the moisture in room. The TV would not turn on nor the air conditioner. Upon texting the property manager received a snippy response about tv and they managed to get air working. When we returned later the air was out again. Several texts back and forth I was told they were working on the matter. Never had air return and slept uncomfortable the remainder of the night.
- 2/5
Sadly, I found this accommodation unacceptable.... To the point that a friend's son took it upon himself to move me to a beautiful guest apt in his condo bldg. I stayed at the Islander the first night only. It's a bare bones place in an area that is in the process of recovering from hurricane damage. That doesn't explain why i was awakened by the couple in the room next door, talking very loudly as they came in at 4:30a. They cont'd that for a while. I no sooner finally got back to sleep AND exceedingly loud construction noise started at 7a right next door.
- 3/5
Location is excellent. Typical "beach" property that needs updating. The bed was a large, comfortable king size. The circuit breaker for the heater tripped off.
- 5/5
Very sweet little motel the rooms are a little small, but still cozy. I had ants in my room during the day another coworker stayed there at a different time and have the same issue. Great location, though easy access to the beaches.
- 3/5
Went there after the hurricane - area looks pretty rough but that is not the fault of the hotel. Hotel clean but dated and low end. Our AC did not work but the staff responded promptly and assigned us a different room immediately. Pricing high for the quality of the place. Location was great - 3 minutes walk to the beach.
- 3/5
Ac was set very low and not chargeable
- 5/5
The location of this property is perfect to go to St. Armand’s and Lifo Beach. The owner is not easy to contact and response is not perfect. We booked this place knowing it had wifi so we could work and we were never able to connect! Owner said they would stop by but was never fixed.
- 5/5
Great property in the heart of St. Armand’s circle.
- 1/5
I booked this room because it was close to the beach and it was advertised as clean and affordable. When I arrived it was dirty. There were ants infesting the entire place and no one on site to help. I was offered another room which was just as bad- these rooms are worth $50-60 per night.
- 2/5
This property was in a flood. You can see the flood water lines on the walls. I was just in a flood 2 months ago. It still smells like the flood in here. The tv only has 1 channel, the fridge is going to fall out of the wooden cabinet that is badly damaged from water, and the bathroom sink doesn't drain. This should have not been rented out until the drywall was ripped out. I have plenty of photos to back up my statements.
- 5/5
Overall the property is well maintained, the only small issue was that the small TV in the living room had a remote control that needed new batteries. But besides that, the property met my expectations and I did enjoy a good night sleep on the second floor.
- 5/5
Nice older Inn in a great location
- 4/5
Close to shops and beaches
- 4/5
Some things could use sprucing up, especially the outdoor sitting area. The furniture was kind of beat, but the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Location was great, on a quiet street, close to the beach, shopping and dining. Great price! I'd stay again.
- 3/5
The property is under maintenance
- 5/5
This is a quiet, place within a block of the beach and a couple blocks of the shopping center.
- 5/5
Residential vacation area that is safe . Room was cozy. Nice place to be for the weekend .
- 5/5
Very convenient. You can walk to the beach and st. Armands.
- 3/5
Property is very outdated, old and needs a remodel. Sheets smelt like bleach which made me feel like they were clean but very scratchy. We could hear everything in the room next to us , tv, talking, dogs barking. Paper thin walls. It served its purpose, very close to the beach and St. Amands circle.
- 2/5
When I booked this place I didn’t have high expectations considering how much higher others were charging in the area. I realized why it was so cheap and warn anyone that is considering on staying here. The location is great, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. It was nice that there was a living area with a kitchen and dining area as compared to just staying in a hotel room. However I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone until management makes several improvements. The bath tub drain was dirty and the shower handle was broken. Bath towels were old, torn and stained. Bed was uncomfortable. Did not provide paper towels which I think is as much a necessity as toilet paper. With the amount of sand being dragged in from the beach, I would also suggest that management provides broom and dustpan.
- 4/5
Parking is very tight especially for anything bigger than a mid size suv. Rooms are aged but not outdated. Property provided beach chairs/items are non existent/broken. Not worth the price unless reduced by 75-100$ a night. Beds are very squishy and new linens were not provided. Property owner seems nice and was able to accommodate extra towels via a call. But no accommodation was provided for the marijuana users who were filling the property with smoke and smell. If you’re looking for a place to party with no repercussion from the owner this is your place would not recommend. 420 friendly
- 1/5
Infested with ants! We booked 5 nights and had to leave because our entire condo had ants. My son counted that he killed 57 and that was just in the bedroom. At that point we reached out to the management who offered us another unit. I looked at it and saw an ant crawling as soon as I opened the door….upon turning on the light in the bathroom I saw a roach scurry across the floor. That’s when we checked out early. Now my truck has ants living in it. Staying there has caused me a bigger headache now.
- 2/5
Rented for one night, to break out driving from Key West. This place is small! Very small. Almost too small for both my husband and I. The parking is limited. The bathroom sink was clogged. Took it over an hour to drain from washing our hands. The coffee maker was in a utility room, with no place to plug in. Wouldn’t stay here again.
- 5/5

Very good
- 4/5
Good place
- 1/5
From the outside looking in, this property appeared updated and clean. Upon entering the room, everything matched expectations from pictures online, however, there were bugs everywhere! Both dead and alive ants in every corner, in the sink, tub, floor, on the bed, and behind the bed. There were also dead and alive roaches, and a gecko paid us a visit at night. The amount of dust behind the bed was very also concerning. I was disappointed to see the place so unkempt in such a nice area.
- 4/5
Everything was super good except the bathroom. Convenient location, comfortable beds, clean room, nice stuff.
- 3/5
Pat is an amazing person, good customer service, but the place is old, there was a water leaking from upstairs bothered us, tv was not working and I had to park my car overnight(this was not nice). Anyways I will stay again.
- 5/5
We will absolutely be returning to this property. It was perfect for our needs. Although, there were some things that could stand to be updated, you are not coming to the beach to spend your time inside. It is walkable to everything, close to everything, and so close to the beach! Super relaxing for a family for a short or long getaway.
- 5/5
Always great. Staff is very accomodating.
- 4/5
Confusing a bit at check in. Sign says get info in mailbox to check in. Nothing so I called heard owner talking about me not reading text message. Didn't know too. Prob better to take the sign down and say check text for check in
- 2/5
Great location but it is a very small room and bath. We could hear our neighbors talking and hear their TV.
- 4/5
The location and size is awesome! It's a bit dated but the beds were comfortable enough. There were no beach towels so make sure you bring some. The biggest disappointment was that there were no paper towels or dish towels in the kitchen. Easy walk to St. Armand's or to the beach.
- 4/5
Enjoyed our stay. It was great for the few days we were in Sarasota.
- 4/5
Would recommend based on location.
- 5/5
My second stay at this motel. This is a no frills bungalow type motel. It’s older, but some of it has been updated. Very clean and friendly when I had to call. No attendant is on duty. And it depends on who is also staying there as to the noise level. Great location though!!!
- 3/5
beds are very old and mattress are terrible!
- 3/5
Quaint and homey little cottage walkable to St Armand’s Circle and Lido Beach. Clean and comfortable and super friendly staff. Small bugs crawling on the tile in the bed bath area though. I think regular spraying would be helpful.
- 2/5
Property is old. Bathtub only shower worked. All outlets loose hard time charging electronics. Refrigerator wasn’t working, plug was loose in socket. No kleenex. Furniture looked like garage sale. No hooks in bathroom for towels. Hard to control water flow. Rooms need updating. Shabby sheik not good for that price.
- 5/5
Very convenient to everything, staff were helpful and kind. Room was small but clean. It was a nice stay!
- 2/5
Dead bugs on bathroom counter, bathroom sink clogged, water in sink never got hot. Save your money and go elsewhere!
- 3/5
Tv didn’t work, not extra blanket , not soap
- 5/5
Likely the least expensive hotel on Lido Key, so expectations need to be adjusted accordingly. That said, my room was clean, the bed comfortable, and staff very helpful. Good value all things considered.
- 3/5
Great location, quaint vibe, very thin walls, no hot water
- 5/5
Older property, small room. Our night was filled with killing mosquitoes in the room. Our only day this week off after a company function AND 7AM IN THE MORNING, CONSTRUCTION NEXT DOOR, hammering, power saws, etc. No ability to sleep in. I know the owner cant control, it, but with thin non insulated windows, no weather stripping on the door, it was loud . The bed was comfortable. For the price was disappointed.

The place needs cleaned better. The bathtub has mold in the corners the tub mat is filthy with hair the windows and shades are so dirty that you can’t see out of them. The intake vent grill is filled with dirt. I think with a little work the place could be nice. Probably won’t be back

This hotel is a bit of Old Florida tucked into a neighborhood that is full-on bougie. The decor and furniture feel like they are straight out of the 1960s. We loved that part of it. The flip side is dealing with locks, faucets and windows that can be fussy, as well as televisions that have seen better days. But who comes to Lido Key to watch TV? The staff is friendly and helpful and the place is clean. The location can't be beat.

Great location, less then five minute walk to beach in vey nice neighborhood. 7 minute walk to center of town with food, drinks and shopping. No need to drive. You can walk everywhere. Or bring a bike. Lots of exploring to do..

It was just okay. Coffee cups were dirty, only one wash cloth and the sink drained very slowly.

Our room had a maintenance problem which we were notified of on our 2 hour drive to Sarasota. We were offered another room free of charge for the inconvenience. Very nice gesture.

Unit is very clean but furnishings are basic. Queen bed needs to be replaced. Checkin process great. Steps to beach and to St Armand's. Location, location, location!

This place is great. Easy walk to everywhere and the owner was really nice an accommodating. I will definitely come back if I am in Key Lido again.

Check in was easy. There was a bit of confusion when we got to our room but not the fault of the resort. Someone took our room assuming it was theirs. But it was quickly fixed and we were moved to a different room. You can walk to the beach or shopping. Quiet and safe. We had the petite room and it was fine for what we needed it for, sleeping. Wish the bed was a king but the queen worked. Would stay there again.

Could be a beautiful place to stay. But… was very run down. Trash piled along side of bldg that was the view when the blinds were open. Ants running all over. Couch so broken down when you sat in it.. it was difficult to get up. Bed linens were dirty. Felt like sand or something in sheets. Over all not at all what we expected or what it could be with proper care!!

Excellent place to stay. We've been there many times and always is good. Clean, seclude and closed to Saint Armand and lido beach (less than a 5 minutes walk). Short drive to Siesta Key (19 minutes). Communication with Patricia was excellent. She did great. Thanks!

Outside of that, and it being in a great location, the room and property was in severe need of updating and cleaning.

Wonderful staff and location! Would stay here again!

We needed a last minute reservation and luckily found Lido Islander. It is a quaint group of condos with beachy decor. Everything was clean and neat. Short walk to the beach or to St Armands Circle. Would definitely stay again.

Several roaches in the room. TV did not work. TV not well aligned to the wall. Hanging cloth retractable cord in bath tub was broken. Disorganized side of property where beach supplies kept. Constant use of washing machine on premises by staff-noisy.
