Reviews
The hotel is generally well-maintained and clean with friendly staff and spacious rooms. However, some guests have reported issues with noise, hidden fees, and poor customer service. The property is beautiful, but some rooms may require climbing stairs and the beds may be small.

I just found a place to stay during my next visit to LA
- 5/5
I was eligible for an upgrade. There were upgrades available, it was a seamless transition. Staff was very professional, warm and accommodating
- 5/5
Rooms were very clean and roomy with separate sitting room and bedroom. Pool and hottub were heated, well kept and available. Staff was attentive to any requests that I had while staying at the hotel. Would highly recommend

- 5/5
This hotel was lovely, quiet, and the staff was wonderful. The hotel feels very European. Rooms are nicely furnished and very comfortable. Great service in the restaurant. Close to everything is West LA.
- 5/5
The best part of the hotel was definitely their service! Leaving the hotel pleased with everything. Thank you
- 2/5
They charges me 140 per night for incidental deposit so I could not check in
- 4/5
Very nice stay. Would be nice if just the hot tub could be 24x7, otherwise great visit.
- 5/5
Love the hotel and staff
- 5/5
Super beautiful and really close to UCLA which was ideal as a prospective student visiting.
- 5/5
Staff were wonderful. Very kind and helpful.
- 5/5
Beyond expectations.
- 4/5
We could hear a lot going on outside of our room including loud street traffic. The walls seem a bit thin.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 4/5
Clean rooms
- 3/5
Staff are 50/50 Great and awful Really an amazingly well appointed motel Spa was a joke and the spa staff are an embarrassment to the spa industry. They couldn’t stop chewing gum long enough to say they had no services.
- 5/5
Beautiful decor and great location

Nice bar and restaurant. Property is beautiful
- 5/5
Just what you would expect in Beverly Hills very nice Property fantastic staff great location

- 5/5
great property
- 5/5
The venue was just absolutely breathtaking. The amenities they provided also just made the stay that much more enjoyable. The staff was very warm right from start, and throughout would always take the initiative to help out. This was the best experience I have ever had. I would highly recommend this place.
- 5/5
The coy fish pond throughout the property was stunning. My favorite part! The gym was well equipped, which I used and appreciated. I had no time to enjoy the pool, hot tubs. spa or hair salon which I will on our next visit for sure. I need more time. We look forward to going back in a few months.
- 5/5
This was my first time to LA. The hotel was wonderful. I slept so good and the staff was friendly. It is a beautiful place! can't wait to go back!
- 5/5
Kitchenette and bedroom. The property was attractive. I especially loved the pool. The water was a very comfortable temperature.
- 5/5
Superb staff. Basic room was nice, with a separate sitting area incl microwave, fridge, sink, coffee maker, silverware. Spacious and relaxing pool area. Vibrant but discrete med spa. Charming, well-staffed bar and restaurant with great hours, espresso drinks. Though located on a busy street the property is adjacent to a nice residential neighborhood so, once inside, it's quiet and peaceful. Overall, it felt relaxing, elegant, and safe, in a non-pretentious way. I actually cannot wait to go back. If you choose to dine off-site, be prepared to drive (or use doordash). The only downside of this stay (for me) was the 24 hour lighting outside our unit's bedroom that showed through the blackout curtains. A better drape/curtain/shade system to block out light in affected bedrooms would be great.
- 4/5
Close to our destination The room was small and musty. The ironing board was busted. The floor had an odd stain.
- 4/5
The gym had no free weights.
- 4/5
The staff were very attentive. And the room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Breakfast was excellent, location excellent and rooms very nice. Would definitely stay again
- 5/5

Felt like a movie star! Beautiful! Lavish!
- 5/5
The staff was amazing and our room was fantastic!! Great location as well
- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious. Pool was nice. Good AC. It was quiet. Close walk to lots of food and shopping I felt safe
- 5/5
The property is beautiful and well-kept. The entire team and staff was very kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. This is our experience every time we stay with them.
- 5/5
This hotel was absolutely beautiful!! The staff was so kind and eager to assist us in anyway. The rooms were so comfortable but be aware that there are a lot of steps to go to your room in certain sections of the hotel. We are planning our next trip to this hotel for next year already.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel!!!
- 5/5
The garden is beautiful. The suites are very spacious and confortable. The staff is very dedicated and friendly. Nothing
- 2/5
For the price and star rating, I expected much better. The room had a nice layout but that was it. The walls are paper thin so I got some pretty disgusting audio that I'm sure originated from people who would have preferred their screams and moans to be private. Minimal amenities, I think Motel 6 is better. The staff is snarky and uptight so you would think you're actually at a decent hotel especially since you are in Beverly Hills. They say absolutely no pets but of course there was a plastic old woman with her whiny Chihuahua at the pool. I would not recommend this place at all!
- 5/5

- 5/5
Great little rooms. Staff definitely thinks they’re helming the Waldorf Astoria down the street.
- 5/5
Great hotel! Nice spacious rooms, and courteous and professional staff.
- 1/5
Very bad decision for hotel
- 4/5
Great hotel and location. Hot water was not very hot in shower...
- 5/5
Perfect stay while being in LA and Beverly Hills Area
- 2/5
Rooms are decent services is terrible front desk wasn’t worried about my concerns for the room or my stay they did not make me feel welcomed or comfortable cleaning services left my door wide open the entire evening while I was at dinner I came back to the room with a wide open door I complained and they did nothing for me ..the shower handle was broken and would on sat on very very warm water and nobody came out to fix it ..the rooms smell like old dust most of the rooms are outside doors so you would have to walk 2 flights of stairs outside to enter your hotel room overall ..I won’t be staying here again ..location is close to rodeo drive but that’s all …
- 5/5
Clean and very nice
- 5/5
Everything was marvelous
- 4/5
The clean rooms and amenities stood out; however, the staff could be more welcoming and attentive. In particular, two front-desk staff members were not helpful and did not provide a warm or supportive customer experience.
- 5/5
Beautiful stay and incredible employees. Shout out Deveena for being so kind! We got upgraded and were able to check in 3h early and it made our Valentine’s Day really special. One thing, walls are very thin so I recommend turning the fan on all night for the AC- it helped with nearby noise. Comfy beds and cute property, super close to Rodeo Drive, will definitely be back!
- 5/5
We like this hotel for its location, friendly staff, and the small kitchenettes. Decor is like being in your grandmother's house, not in a bad way, but the lamps and furnishings are old school on steroids. The restaurant is small but convivial. Closet space is ample. A couple of warnings - the lowest tier price rooms (which are fine) are in the back section and require some stairs. Some of the front section rooms are right on Wilshire Blvd, so lots of street noise. Overall, it's a favorite of ours.
- 3/5
Some things were broken
- 4.5/5
Beautifully decorated for Christmas
- 5/5
It was beautiful. The plants and koi fish were a wonderful touch. My room didn’t have carpets that’s my only criticism. I hated the lack of carpeting. It was hell on my feet. If there had been carpet, I’d have been sooooooo happy.
- 5/5
Staff, location, clean room.rooms on the Wilshire side very loud but they accommodated us by moving room.
- 3/5
I truly enjoyed my stay—it was lovely. The room was well equipped with many amenities I appreciated, especially having my own kitchenette and refrigerator. The shower was excellent, and everything was consistently very clean. I also enjoyed spending time at the pool. The hotel itself is quite old. While the online photos showcase a gorgeous entrance, the reality includes many steps and only one small elevator. The décor in the rooms and throughout the interior of the hotel feels dated.
- 4/5
Lovely hotel. My room was a little dark though.
- 4/5
They upgraded us to a nicer lovely suite
- 5/5
Adorable hotel and very friendly staff. Love the people here.
- 5/5
Most respectful staff around the clock. Very well maintained.
- 5/5
the room was spacious and clean the pool was fabulous the restaurant was very good the only thing was the need to take stairs to rooms outside of the main building parking was not cheap but average for LA hotels
- 5/5
Philip on the front desk made all the difference. He was very friendly and nice. There’s a nice waterfall lush garden in the courtyard. The room was spacious and I had the smallest suite. And there was great coffee in the room.
- 5/5
Had a great stay!!
- 5/5
Most amazing time. Hotel was beautiful and the staff were amazing. We will make this our yearly trip.

When I booked this hotel I did it based on the picture of the room that didn't have carpet due to my asthma ! Also I had a knee surgery two months ago so limited with going from lots of stairs . The room ww got was fully carpet & top floors with no elevator with 20 plus stairs . When I got to the room I stated having Asthma attacks & I called the staff if we could change the room . The only options was sencond floor with no carpets but still stairs which was difficult fir me to go in & out of the hotel . At the end they offed us a tiny room with no stairs but I didn’t want to pay same money for such a small room so we decided to leave & get another hotel which cost us more & lots of headache . They told us to contact Expedia for our refund which it took over two hours on the phone with customer service to be able to get our refund which we were greatful for amazing customer service from Expedia really . But I won't be booking with that hotel in future !
- 5/5
Staff was fantastic! Parking attendant was so courteous and helpful. I loved this property.
- 5/5
The team was amazing and room was beautiful
- 5/5
yes🙌

We stayed at Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel & Spa last week and were very disappointed, its more like MOTEL 6. The room shown in the booking photos was not the room we were given. Instead, we were placed in a much lower-quality room that required climbing multiple old, steep and unsafe staircases, something not clearly disclosed during booking. After complaining, we were forced to pay an additional $240 per night plus tax just to get the room that was originally advertised. After our complaint, the hotel changed their listing, removed the original room photos, and now shows the bathroom photos first, with “staircase accessible” placed prominently. This appears to be an admission that the original listing was misleading. For nearly the same price, we could have stayed at a true 5-star hotel like the Four Seasons nearby. I would not recommend this property. Be very careful when booking.
- 5/5
Welcome to classic elegance that is timeless and relaxing ideally located on Wilshire Boulevard. The Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel & Spa offers a spa, outdoor heated pool, many quite & exclusive seating areas, Le Petit Cafe & Bar unique building style that is LA glamour at it’s best. We look forward to staying soon to relax and visit family in the surrounding neighborhoods, cheers!

- 5/5
The amazing pleasure for me to come here. Pleasant service top tier . Restaurant and bar was beyond top tier. Food Was delicious definitely would recommend to visit by others
- 5/5
Beautiful rooms if you’re willing to pay top dollar.
- 5/5
The pool was heated and heavenly. We will be back! Staff was wonderful. Lovely charming hotel and staff. Thank you!
- 3/5
The hotel was more like a motel. The lobby and staff were friendly enough but access to our room was inconvenient and required outdoor access. The room furnishings were not comfortable.
- 3/5
The thermostat didn’t work and the room was dated.
- 5/5
Great first time stay. Very clean room and property with friendly staff. The room included a microwave, which was nice for reheating leftovers. Location is close to UCLA and west side locations like Sawtelle, Getty Museum and Hollywood. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Excellent location, nice sized rooms, a little dated but value for money wise excellent stay!
- 5/5
Cleanliness, helpful staff, room was spacious , nice location
- 4/5
Courteous staff, the room was well appointed.

Such an amazing hotel. Very clean well maintained. Can’t wait to rebook with them in the future!
- 4/5
Nice room. Responsive staff.
- 5/5
Everything went spectacular here besides the gentleman playing the banjo all night till the am in the room next to be . Valet was excellent and spoke Spanish which always makes me feel at home, Otherwise , food ,drinks and staff were exceptional. Would stay again!
- 1/5
I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I trusted that my Porsche would be safe and handled professionally. Instead, the valet damaged my car, and the hotel refuses to take any responsibility. What makes this even worse is how uncooperative the staff were throughout the entire process. Instead of helping or even showing empathy, they simply told me “it must have happened in the past” — even though the scratch was clearly fresh, obviously not caused by me, and noticed immediately. Their explanation was not only dismissive but also completely unrealistic. No solution, no accountability, not even a gesture of goodwill. They didn’t offer to cover the damage, didn’t offer to take a closer look, didn’t provide any footage, and didn’t even offer something as simple as a free night or a reduced charge to make up for the situation. Absolutely nothing. Just a cold “all the best,” as if that magically erases the damage or the terrible customer service. For a hotel in this area, I expected professionalism and integrity — instead I left frustrated, disappointed, and with a scratched car. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.
- 5/5
Great 😊
- 1.5/5
location was decent. it was an easy walk from beverly hills proper and from ucla. however, it was on a very busy and loud street. the bathroom was big and clean. it was more of a motel than a hotel! it's really deceiving as when you come in, you have the feeling that you're walking into a nice hotel, which is great... but once you're directed to your room, which by the way doesn't have an elevator! i had to carry my big suitcase from the 2nd floor to the 6th floor and the rooms are like a motel style... it was very weird and for whatever reason, didn't feel really safe. I really didn't like that hotel... there's a small window in the bedroom that overlooks a sore view.... not sure what the heck that was... it wasn't great at all
- 5/5
Room was immaculate, pillows and bed are soo comfy! The staff are very kind and the service is excellent. We go once a year and that is our spot! Love the proximity to everything.
- 5/5
Great place. Staff great. Quick, pleasant and helpful. Noise. Car flying by in the middle of the night.
- 2/5
Clump of long black hair on top of shower drain. Disgusting because I stepped in it. Shower had hot water for about 2 minutes, then turned freezing cold. Front desk sent maintenance who said handle is “tricky”. Noooooooo handle has nothing to do with lack of hot water. Front desk staff rude and arrogant. Stayed here years ago and it was great, definitely has gone downhill. Ice machine broken. Rooms outdated.
- 5/5
Very nice and clean hotel. Friendly and courteous service. Fitness center could use more strength training equipment, particularly free weights.
- 5/5
Excellent location! Staff was very friendly and the place was beautiful. The restaurant located within had the best food! Our room had a studio kitchen. No towels or even paper towels. Coffee pot could have been better for the price of the room.
- 5/5
Nice property
- 5/5
great customer service
- 5/5
Clean kitchen and dishes, etc.
- 5/5
Love this hotel! Staff is amazing. Room was very nice, supper clean and comfortable. Shopping on Rodeo was a mile and a half away. Westwood was 6 min car ride. Dining was delicious as restaurant has a fabulous chef. Would highly recommend for your next trip!!!
- 4/5
Nice people, especially the valet staff. Great location. Air conditioning needs to be cooler. Limiting all rooms to 69 is insufficient.
- 5/5
This is a very nice hotel. Much higher "Class" than we were expecting. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
clean nice pool, friendly staff
- 5/5
Staff were all very pleasant and helpful.
- 2/5
I decided to have a birthday staycation at this hotel, and I was left underwhelmed by the service and comfort. The valet was rude and inattentive. One valet asked if I was delivery instead of a guest. The most disappointing part of the stay was the bed. I have never experienced such an uncomfortable bed at a hotel. Given the price of a nightly stay, this hotel is grossly overpriced. When I was checking out, I requested a manager to reach out to me via email or phone, and to date, no one has taken the time to do so. I welcome the opportunity to speak with someone and will amend this review if the interaction meets my satisfaction.
- 5/5
I love this hotel and always enjoy my stay here.
- 4/5
Very clean, convenient and friendly staff and professional
- 5/5
Exellent
- 5/5
Everything!!!!!!!!
- 1/5
No privacy, no sound proof(i could hear a room next door having sex), smells like old carpet, one of my rooms was not ready by check in time. Parking staffs were very nice.
- 3/5
Location is great and in heart of Beverly Hills. Hotel could use some updating, accessibility to rooms is very poor, especially if you have large luggage.
- 5/5
Will stay there again. Lots of stairs not great for someone with walking issues. Parking expensive.
- 5/5
Beautiful pool area. Nice balcony to enjoy.
- 5/5
Check in staff amazing and full of great information ty

Location is very convenient and professional staff with neat environment! Thanks!
- 5/5
The hotel is a hidden gem, close to Westwood, UCLA, Century City and Beverly Hills. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the property looks almost new. The pool and beautiful flowers were a really nice surprise and we will definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
The staff was very helpful and friendly. We felt welcomed!
- 2/5
It was disappointing that the room was not available for early check-in but also understandable. However, it is not okay that the room was not even ready by the 3:00 pm check in time.
- 3/5
Wish I could say that we had a fantastic stay but it was definitely
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel
- 5/5
I Like!
- 4/5
Great location, nice restaurant, good to have self park option and pool. Room was comfortable however walls very thin and were woken up by other guests using the shower at 6am
- 5/5
Great amenities.
- 5/5
love the room set up which included a mini kitchenette. It was clean and quiet as well
- 4/5
Other than construction being done, it was nice
- 3/5
Stay was comfortable. Restaurant charged Beverly Hills prices for terrible quality food and slow service. Shower was really low pressure and lamps on the wall almost fell off.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Hotel was just lovely and had everything needed. Westfields Century City is just a 20 minute walk. Be prepared to take plenty of Ubers as there aren’t any other restaurants near by other than at Westfields. But the quality of staff and facilities at the hotel more than made up for it. I’d definitely go back if I head to LA again.
- 2/5
Not the best hotel
- 4/5
On the noisy side when people walk the outside of the room. Door slamming shut till midnight.
- 5/5
We loved our stay. Very comfortable. Loved the living room and kitchen. Great place to come to for a longer stay.
- 5/5
it was a great stay
- 5/5
Beautiful
- 5/5
Great hotel overall
- 5/5
Wonderful place to stay…
- 4/5
This is a nice hotel in a very nice part of the city. It is quite noisy being on a major road and the two beds in the suite are most definitely not Queen size. It was clean and had a very upscale and upgraded look to the rooms and lobby.
- 5/5
Great place!

Worst hotel
- 5/5
This hotel holds the gold standard. Amazing staff and service of the highest quality.
- 5/5
Lovely. small and quaint hotel. Staff friendly. Nice amd quiet area.
- 5/5
Beautifully aesthetic. Spacious. Happy staff. Walked from the hotel to Rooftop for lunch, and the to Rodeo Drive for shopping - in total, the was about 23 minutes. Very convenient.
- 5/5
Great spacious clean room!
- 5/5
Property is a good value for the money. Staff were fantastic. Pool was lovely.

Wonderful hotel. Staff are fabulous. Professional and friendly. Very comfortable. Pool and hot tub were terrific places to relax. Loved it.
- 5/5
I had an amazing experience. They were the best!
- 4/5
Lovely big rooms. Very clean. Was suprused by the. Amount of stairs to gwt to the roo.. but would return
- 4/5
Funky layout - like a step back in time when young Hollywood stars lived in small apartments.
- 5/5
Great hotel the walls are a little thin but my neighbors were not too loud. Great Westwood hotel right next to Beverly Hills.
- 3/5
Nice quick stay. Room was nice.
- 3/5
Walls are thin. Can hear people next door.
- 4/5
High end feel without the high prices of other nearby properties.
- 5/5
Wonderful place to stay. Grounds, decor and service are top notch. Didn't get to try the restaurant, next time!
- 4/5
Need more parking attendants
- 3/5
It is a nice property. I like that it is an indoor/outdoor courtyard property that you get to enjoy fresh air. The only thing that was inconvenient are the stairs. I was in room 524 and I had to take flight of stairs. The staff was very nice to assist me with my luggage to my room, it would've been very difficult without them. Parking is $55 overnight both for valet and self park. I did valet and they were very helpful.
- 5/5
The staff is very professional and kind.
- 5/5
Gracious, Elegant, Super kind staff. I have stated this Hotel in the past when I had repairs on my home. The management continues to excel at making people feel comfortable no matter what circumstances I was evacuated briefly and needed to stay on short notice and they took my pet even though they’re not pet friendly hotel, and I’m very grateful to them
- 5/5
Would recommend
- 5/5
I’ve stayed here in past and enjoyed the elegance and full service elements of this hotel.
- 5/5
Unbelievable stay at this hotel. I don’t know how we got such a deal, but we booked two rooms for 3 nights. Incredible location!! I went on a jog every morning in the neighborhoods of Beverly Hills. We played LACC, went to a kings game. Food inside was insanely expensive but o well!
- 5/5
This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel. It's now going to become our "go to" place when we travel to LA. The hotel is in a good location. We like that it's not very large and the staff is very friendly.
- 4/5
Staff were all exceptionally helpful and kind. Xmas decorations were lovely. I really liked the heater on the bathroom and the hot tub. I didn't like that there was no carpet and tgat tge room was essentially divided into 3 small sections
- 5/5
Such a beautiful hotel, feels very Old Hollywood! Restaraunt had delicious food and best was SO comfy. Bathrooms in the rooms are so luxurious.
- 3/5
Bathroom amenities were never refill even after requesting. Had to buy my on body wash and hand soap.
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful, the property was beautiful and the bartender makes an amazing cocktail!
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable. This hotel is small but high class. We were only there for 1 night but wish we could have stayed longer. We loved the Christmas decorations and tree in the lobby. Hotel staff very friendly.
- 5/5
Everything was awesome 👌
- 4/5
Property was really nice, butt the tubs were too tall, and very slippery. Room# 528 are too far from lobby. Rooms were nice, but felt like they were for the staff to sleep in and the nice ones are reserved for tip end payers. Overall a 4 star
- 4/5
Liked restauranf. Nice lobby. Bathroom sink too small for two
- 5/5
We love this property. The staff is helpful and the facility feels very nostalgic.
- 5/5
My husband and I stay here every time we have a medical appointment at Cedar Sinai. We love this hotel. The property is beautiful, the staff is courteous and professional, and the restaurant is wonderful. We love the rooms. We've stayed in all different sized rooms, from the standard sized to the suites that are poolside. We love them all.
- 5/5
Staff is very friendly and the property is well maintained.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. Impressed with dining and pool area
- 5/5
Excellent hotel and staff. Very friendly. Suite was spacious, clean and well-appointed. Also nice pool and gym.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Nice pool and hot tub!
- 5/5
Such a nice place
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, VG location. We would book again!
- 3/5
The hotel was much older than we anticipated. It seemed clean. But something wasn't quite right. We had a reservation for two nights but opted to only stay one. The room had an off odor that was not pleasant and did not improve when we got into the room and turned the air conditioning on. The server at the bar was very nice and the apple pie was delicious.
- 5/5
Amazing! Great helpful security and staff!
- 5/5
It was awesome!
- 4/5
Great experience and staff, loved location. Had to ask to clean my room everyday. Maybe include that by default if stay is longer than one night.
- 5/5
The property is in a nice and quiet neighborhood, The hotel room, bedding and bathroom was all clean and pleasant.
- 4/5
Easy to access
- 5/5
Best hotel and staff ever, courteous, kind and alway helpful—see you on my next visit soon!!!
- 5/5
Great location, close to UCLA. Really nice staff. Hotel has loads of charm & is very comfortable. Cafe is convenient with good options for all.
