    Excellent hotel, great rooms, comfortable beds, very clean. But the dining options in the hotel are extremely limited, just one cafe bar with tables. Disappointing in a hotel of such quality. And the shower was odd in that the only way to get adequate water pressure was to make the water scalding hot. I would stay there again.

    HORRIBLE. Overbooked the hotel when our room was booked ahead of time! Sent us to a different hotel at 3am and that took over an hour for the staff to check us in. Told us come back next day at 11am to get our room. Went back at 1pm and the room still wasn’t ready!! On top of that room service did not come to clean not once the whole time we were there. The ice machine didn’t work. Was ridiculous

    Stayed here one night to make an early flight the next morning less stressful. It’s also located right next to Midway car rental so returning my car was painless and a 2min walk to the hotel. Didn’t stay long - checked in evening time and back out at 5:30am the next morning - so didn’t see or use any of the amenities. Just needed a shower and a bed which were great. The staff was very nice getting me checked in quickly and settled for the night. Room was spacious and comfortable. Only issue was the free airport shuttle the next morning (FYI not run by Marriott so they don’t control it) - there was a display screen in the lobby with projected schedule and we were told they run every 20min or so but none of the shuttles were on time for people departing early morning. There were quite a few people that ended up taking a ride share instead after waiting on them a while. I just walked - it’s literally right down the same street as LAX and takes less than 10min. I know that’s not on Marriott, but if they’re going to advertise a partnership with this shuttle company they should probably make sure the information is accurate in expected wait times based on airport congestion, etc so people don’t waste time or miss flights.

    Wwe went for something to eat before returning to find the room hadn't had the second bed made up. We searched again and managed to find the sheets and made the bed ourselves, this did put a slight dampner on the experience but we all slept very well. Airport shuttle easy to navigate and wasn't waiting long at all

    Easy and very close to airport, they have parking for 35$. Its close to the nmew rental car hub at LAX, and most rental cars have a shuttle to take you to your hotel so that only took 10 min after i returned the car. They have a shuttle that runs every 20-30 min to take you the airport. The bed was very comfortable and my room was spacious and clean. I will definitiely stay here again. It was easyeasy, nice, and clean.

    A great hotel to stay at near LAX. The only problem is the shuttle is not reliable going to the airport early morning. If you are flying out on Southwest you can walk to the terminal in about 10 minutes. That is way faster then the shuttle from the hotel.

    My first room was somewhat clean, the table was dirty and had stains and was heavily chipped. I didn’t report it since I was there just for the night. The second room after my cruise coming out of San Pedro Port; they assigned me a room that wasn’t clean at all. The sheets were dirty and pulled out and there was food in the room. The front desk staff blamed it on the system and I just didn’t say anything because how exhausted I was at the time. They assigned us the room next to the original one which was clean except a towel which had a red stain and a sink that was somewhat stained with toothpaste. Overall for how much I spent each night which was $200 each night you are better off spending your money elsewhere that has better accommodation.

    "Hotel Shuttles Pickup" location was? I also looked at written info on the Hotels.com site that said "Upper level"One guy told me, there Is No upper level? I asked another guy who was nice enough 2show me how 2get to the door where the Vans were [Saw a Red Sign for Shuttle] Waited about 25 mins &called the hotel phone & was told that the Colors of the Van were [ BRIGHT ORANGE & TEAL] & it was for Marriot Courtyard. Another couple who were there who told me they were waiting 1 Hour had called the hotel's number also.The Big problem was that the person on the phone did Not Know that There were No Orange & Teal design Vans driving through..but we called again &were told to look for Van with the words [JOE'S PARKING ] + another 15-20mins later We saw one coming. This was Not Good communication betwn the Hotel and Whoever was Sending out the Vans to pick people up. Once at hotel,the young man came 2greet a few of us & was professional.When I got 2 my room I realized here was no water availble 2make tea,coffee w/(but there also was no coffee pot? But when I called 2ask,he explained that there R no pots, that it was a drip coffee filter(then I figurd it out.) I went downstairs 2buy water.I saw One area nearby that stockd some regular bottles-but he said that ws closed."Fancier water" botts were available 4purchase.I askd him 2please find my Bonvoy Member# to add this Stay?He Did & comped me a Bottle! Thank you.

    Tv in room was poor quality. Picture on tv was washed out and faded. Too tired and too late to call front desk. Also and this was huge deal your shuttles appeared to be down or broken and you used one of joes garage shuttles. People waited over 45 minutes for a shuttle. I feared of being late for our flight. Front desk person was not courteous about the shuttle issue. If your shuttles go down you need to have more than one running for people to get to the airport being your an airport hotel.

    I did not eat a meal there. The room was pretty clean but the shower needs a much deeper clean. There was evidence of mold and grime in the grout. I wish the shower had a head that could be removed for a good shower after traveling for so many hours. Front desk staff was very kind and helpful. I needed a shower and sleep before another long trip the following morning. I was able to grab what I needed for myself in terms of water and such and then ordered food for dinner. I took a long shower, crawled into bed, slept, caught the morning shuttle and traveled for about 12 hours more. The shuttle was super crowded both times I took it and people were very uncomfortable, but the service and the shuttle driver were an A+! Thanks.

    So flight was cancelled next flight out was a day later; so I called Expedia they tried to refund the money but radio-silence from management. I can understands if someone cancels but the fact that we were forced to miss that reservation due to issues out of our control and management without compassion or understanding shows that once they have your money they really don’t care is something quite telling.

    The negative is when you check in and they charged 55 for parking. My thought is just Include it in your tees on Hotel.com Don’t post a lower price than your competitors and then add that on once we arrive. Discussed it with the front desk who is probably used to it because she didn’t respond or acknowledge it at all.

    Shuttle from the airport despite other reviews was quick and drop off was at the entrance of the hotel. A called was made to shuttle service and they were there in about ten minutes. Picked up at entrance and a few minutes later dropped at the airline terminal. Staff friendly, the hotel super clean.

    The place was super nice and clean! There were no problems with the room. However, when I first entered the hotel, I asked the front desk ladies that were talking if they had a bathroom, since I didn't see one. One of them says, "Excuse you. Were having a conversation here" and angrily slams a key card down on the desk. I don't know if she was just having a bad day, but I was completely shocked by the behavior.

    There was bed bugs in my room, I took a nap when I first arrived and woke up a couple of hours later to two bites. Went downstairs immediately to let them know and to switch my room. Front desk lady did not apologize once, and silently just processed the room change. Incredibly rude service and health hazard room. I had to throw out a bag of mine that was made of cloth just in case, also went through every piece of clothing which kept me up with anxiety all night. I had to change my flight and pay out of pocket. Horrible just horrible experience.

    My room was missing some things like a knob for turning off the lamp next to the bed and someone forgot an old wash cloth in my bath tub from the previous guest. The showers haven't been remodeled since the 90's likely and have a lot of calcification on the shower heads. I landed at 10pm and by the time the shuttle came and got us all to our hotels I managed to get checked in by 12pm. I don't know if I would do that again for a short stay.

    The location was excellent and I enjoyed my stay overall. That said, I had a few interactions with staff that left me a bit disappointed. On more than one occasion, when I asked for clarification about something that was confusing, the response felt curt or dismissive. Instead of offering a quick explanation, staff would point to a nearby sign and make a sarcastic remark. I understand that busy environments can make interactions brief, but a little patience and courtesy would have gone a long way.     Booked based on shuttle service to and from LAX, Waited for Airport pick-up so long I finally had another shuttle ask if he could take me to Hotel! Day of flight out waited on shuttle in location dwsk directed me to and after 45 mins another desk person informed me that shuttle could not get to pick up point and lead me to alturnitve local. Good thing I had plenty of time to catch flight. Would have chosen alternative room based on this info.

    My only review would be the shuttle driver. From the airport to the hotel. I was dropped off at Homewood Suites and not The Courtyard. Although, they share a parking lot, I would of hoped that he would have told me that he can drop me off at the front door. I actually saw him on his break at the Courtyard lobby eating his food a little later on that night. The shuttle was right outside. Moving forward, if you could let him know to be clear with his passengers where he drops off.

    Room air conditioner sounded like a jet engine when it was on. Shuttle was a miss drove right past us even with us waving (need to add the wave down to the requirement for it to pull over), as he tapped the brakes and blew by….45 minutes later we had called the front desk one finally stopped at our terminal.

    The shuttle passed Terminal 4 completely full three times before finally picking me up—after more than an hour. Check-in was smooth and the staff were genuinely kind, but the room told a different story. It smelled like wet laundry left too long. The carpet was sticky enough to rival cheap duct tape, and walking barefoot wasn’t an option. I ended up laying towels down just to get from the bed to the bathroom. But not before sacrificing a pair of dress socks. The TV looked newer but had severe burn in it. the coffee maker didn’t work, and overall the room felt neglected. The bathroom was clean, but dated. When I mentioned the issues at the front desk, the response suggested this was a familiar conversation. The return shuttle was just as bad—45 minutes. I watched 2 sets of guests give up and walk, and one group order a $75 Uber to go half a mile. The staff were the only bright spot. It beat sleeping on the airport floor, but not by much—and the airport floor was probably cleaner.

    The room was clean and spacious and the staff were friendly enough. The poor review is based entirely on the failures of the shuttle bus service. We had picked the LAX Courtyard so that we would easily be able to get to our room after a long day of traveling with a toddler and return to the airport early in the morning for a connecting flight. At LAX, it is effectively impossible to walk from the terminal to the hotel (especially with a small child) and Ubers for the one-way, one-mile trip can cost $90. So a reliable shuttle bus service is crucial. We waited for over an hour at the designated pick-up spot and called the hotel repeatedly, but the bus never came. The hotel said they would send out a car to meet us, but that never materialized either. We finally managed to reach the hotel after hitching a ride on another hotel's shuttle. Because of our distrust of the reliability of the shuttle bus, we chose to pay for an expensive one-mile ride back to the terminal in the morning.

    I had an early morning flight so I booked a room at Courtyard by Marriott LAX. It's literally walking distance from the entrance of LAX - 16 min walk to terminal 1. I know Marriott is known for their comfortable beds and it's is very accurate. Had a great night sleep. Also, right across the small street that it's on, is a long term airport parking lot. There is a complimentary shuttle that to the airport that runs every 15-20 minutes. Also, and this will be strange to say, there is a little cafe in the lobby. My friend and I were starving so we ordered dinner to go [to eat in our room]. I ordered meatballs - best I've ever tasted. I will definitely stay hear whenever i have early flights. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and beds were amazingly comfortable.

    The hotel is accustomed to fliers. We arrived early but they had a list of people waiting for rooms. When the rooms were ready, even before the usual check in time the staff called to let us know we could check in.

    Drink options were not bad, but expensive. Walked to the hotel from the airport, took the shuttle back. It filled up quick. Rooms were clean and adequate for a short stay. No view from room except a large wall. Wouldn't want to stay for longer than one night, but convenient for a layover hotel.

    The hotel is well insulated from the exterior (airplane) noise; however, every time another door in the hallway was shut, we could hear a very loud click. There was a stain in the carpet. Shades were blackout but did not shut completely and let in a streak of light. Hotel is very convenient to LAX and the shuttles to and from were prompt. Hotel is in an area without many restaurant choices — unless you want to eat in another hotel.

    What you see is not what you pay. Ended up paying 15 dollars more a room after booking and then 58 dollars to park in there parking lot. Probably more on hotels.com than the hotel. Room was fine AC didn’t work great but it did cool the room some. Room was clean facilities where just older

    Stayed here before and found it to be exactly the same thing. The hotel is well maintained, clean with friendly staff. Got in very late this stay and was amazed at how quiet the room was. No airport noise could be heard. Not even a noise from within the hotel. If you need silence to sleep, this is the place for you.

    It’s walking distance from the airport so it’s convenient if you want that location The carpet doesn’t get vacuumed properly in the room, found food crumbs on the carpet when we checked in and it wasn’t vacuumed out for the 2 days we stayed. F&B options are very basic. Upon checkin the agent hadn’t checked that I had paid for an extra day to get an early check in to the room, he did say that there was an extra charge for checking in early but that was not an issue as it got resolved pretty quick. No bottled water in the room so had to keep going down to the reception and asking for it. The mini fridge in the room makes a lot of noise so had to turn it off else couldn’t sleep. The mattresses are very soft so not the most comfortable sleep for me. I guess they are old or that’s something that other people prefer

    Nice proximity to LAX and very friendly staff. However, the rooms are out dated and the desk area in my room had no nearby plugs for a laptop or cell phone. The Starbucks counter area is the extent of the dining options. It’s more than a Starbucks menu but not a full restaurant, and the food is just okay.

    The shuttle took a long time to pick up from the airport because it is not just for this hotel, but for several hotels. It is contracted by a third-party called Joe’s parking. And while the room itself was very nice, there was a LIVE ROACH that scurried across my pillow when I pulled back the covers!!! I barely slept for fear of additional roaches, crawling on me during the night.

    This is an ok property, but very dated. The property needs a serious refresh. Room doors don't shut properly - at least without pushing/pulling them tight, and you can hear noise from adjoining rooms. The surround area seems to have limited dining options and is quite dirty, with lots of rubbish on the streets. But it serves its purpose for a hotel close to the airport.

    Nice hotel, good service, convenient to the airport. But don't rely on the shuttle service to get you to the airport. We did and almost missed our flight - had to take a taxi after watching the shuttle breeze past twice, full from the other hotels it stopped at first.

    The hotel was clean. Staff was understaffed so the wait to check-in was longer than expected. Food and parking is expensive and the parking was supposed to be secured and wasn’t. Parking gate was open all night and anyone could drive in and out. They even said they was security on-site and there is not. Overall, good hotel stay. Some staff were unfriendly and dishonest. Manager was amazing and very professional when I reached out to report the staff member.

    Shuttle was not easy to see due to Courtyard Marriott being on the door and not the banner above the driver. Only one towel in room. I appreciate the sanitary nature of paper cups, but everything tastes yucky in them. I prefer glass or ceramic. The outlet near the bed did not work, ugh! Lighting was poor, it was very dark even with all the lights turned on. One more floor lamp could have been nice.
