    Where the hotel fell short was with its promised complimentary breakfast. On Saturday, breakfast was supposed to start at 7 and it was not ready. When we reported this to the staff member did not say sorry for the inconvenience and just said it was coming. On Sunday, there was no coffee, which is poor service. Given this promise of breakfast is appealing to many who stay at the hotel so they can get to LAX early in the morning it was disappointing that the hotel could not manage this benefit. I am not likely to stay again for this reason.

    An Asian face waitress (nsme forgot) whose service made us a very memorable experience at the hotel kitchen & bar on Jun 6 evening. Complimentary breakfast on Jun 8. Several items, for instance, fruits, coffee, half and half milk were out of supply at around 8AM when there were still many in coming guests. When asked, the serving waitress declined to refill the food items.

    Skip the buffet breakfast. It is poor in presentation and quality. If you have breakfast go to the restaurant downstairs. The room was super spacious and very clean. Very close to airport and shuttle service was fantastic.

    nice clean hotel with friendly stuff and very close to the airport with own shuttle the fact that i had breakfast included apparently at another floor but no one told me. so i went groundfloor i had my breakfast and then i needed to pay for it though i had it included. i am sure someone could explain better where the breakfast is served

    Parking fees for Hilton properties and especially here near LAX. At $55 is really ridiculous especially if the property isn’t as great as the other property we were at. We were looking forward to breakfast because we were so overwhelmingly satisfied with the Anaheim property. And staff really rude to customers just coming in a little late. They clean up everything and 10-15 prior to end time of breakfast they do not fill coffee or food. Feels so closed off on second floor and no complimentary coffee 24hrs like we expected. Most Hilton properties I’ve stayed at was available. Very very disappointing and won’t be back to stay.

    Hotel was well situated to the airport and new off-site car rental terminal. I walked from Terminal D (International Terminal) to the hotel in about twenty minutes. Shower lacks water pressure.

    My stay with my group was going really good until our DoorDash food delivery was stolen from the lobby. We were five mins away from picking it up. As soon as we got to the hotel it was gone. Customer service staffs were efficient dealing with this issue by crediting me the amount my group and I paid for the food. You do have to provide proof and they were able to look on their cameras .

    We checked in with the Manager Alex. He told me we were going to get a great room. When we went into our room. The room was a double queen bed and we reserved a king bed. The refrigerator was broken and the bathroom was dirty and the bathroom tub was clogged. When I called the front desk they said they could not move us and that we can also put items in there refrigerator. I also asked Alex about the shuttle services so I was prepared in the morning and they almost made us miss our flight. On top of all this Alex was training someone. Completely unacceptable from someone that should know better since they manage the location. We also bought food at there restaurant that went bad and also items we bought on our vacation because there refrigerator was broken. I tried to resolve this with one of the front representatives but they said he would contact me. So so bad, LA should be better then this

    Bed was comfy. The staff upon arrival checked us in, asked for ID but didn't check it then didn't advise us where we needed to go until prompted. The breakfast was shocking, ran out of coffee and waffle mix, chicken looked like it was re heated from the day before and apples were wrinkled. Had to clear up own pots. In the room the bath / shower tap was dripping all night, there was cobwebs on the lights and tags from when the shower curtain were washed left on and black mold. Lastly, even though it states airports pick-ups there was none to pick us up at 1am when which resulted in us getting a taxi. The whole stay was a let down for a Hilton.

    The rooms had may visible stains on couches and beds. The bed frames were scratched and the cleanliness overall was mediocre. It did not feel comforting and look drastically better and updated in the pictures listed online. The carpets in the hallways stunk of body odor and urine for a few days. The breakfast was not bad, but there weren’t many options, especially those with limited dietary restrictions. The staff overall were nice, but the wait to get help was a tad long.

    There were very limited choices for breakfast. We were not even mentioned about where it was located at. It was a bit running up and down the second day in the morning. We booked through Expedia and were advised that there would be no free regular internet if we booked through a third party which was not advised on the website. And the reading lights on the sides of both beds were not working at all. One of them had even no light bulb. The lamp on the night stand in between the two beds was not working as well. So you can tell the entire condition of the room was not very good.

    The elevator situation needs attention. It says tap floor number OR scan room key. Well you tap the floor number and the elevator doesn’t come. But when I tapped my card and then the number it worked. But that’s not what the posted sign said. Plus the elevator when it does come still takes for ever. There is 4 of them and only 12 floors. Not sure what the hold up is.

    The hotel is extremely close to LAX, the car rental center was right around the corner, the gym was also right there. The hotel itself was very clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, the rooms were nicely decorated, and breakfast was quite satisfying. All in all, a very nice place to stay when you first arrive in LA

    The shuttle is inconsistent and no one can tell you the schedule. I stayed there to be near the airport and take the free shuttle. I could not use the shuttle because when I came down at 4:15am (as I was told that would be enough time to get to the airport by 4:40 am, the shuttle had just left and they were not sure if it would be back before 25 minutes. Ended up taking a Lyft instead. Next time, back to a nicer hotel with a clear shuttle schedule. The few dollars I saved staying there was not worth it.

    They did not give me my deposit voucher $300. I stayed at the hotel for 3 hours because of my layover at lax . I am waiting for the manager Orlando to send my proof .. this is terrible because you don’t have a proof that they charge you the $300.00 . I travel worldwide and hotels always give you your receipts while you check out

    Not a good room for its price and brand. The carpets were torn. The bathroom was old, and soaps and shampoos were not filled in regularly. Also, there were lots of hidden fees that were not properly advertised in the listing. for example: daily parking fee and LA Worker Ordinance fee. If we had been aware of these, our stay decision would have been different.

    Room is nice but toilet was dirty and kitchen floor dirty as well. We also don’t receive keys to our rooms. We were told it was due to computers down. We went to front deak a bit later and asked when they will have them and was told 40 minutes. We went to eat longer than that and still no keys. They did have someone go with us to our rooms to let us in.

    Additionally, the hotel bar closed early, and the service there was poor, with staff displaying a negative attitude. Moreover, the air conditioning in my room was broken. I paid an extra $10 to have two beds, but now I’m being told that due to the broken air conditioning, I’ll only have one room with a king-size bed. This is an issue since I’m traveling with my son, and one bed is not sufficient. Furthermore, while the air conditioning issue might have been manageable since it’s winter, the windows in the room cannot be opened. This left me with no alternative, and since I was staying just one night, I had no choice but to endure the situation. I hope you’ll address these concerns promptly.

    Stayed for a very short layover, and the free airport shuttle was extremely convenient. Hotel staff were very pleasant, with the exception of the bartender, who acted as if we were inconveniencing him terribly by asking him to pour a few sodas. The room was shockingly worn and dilapidated, though. The headboards were peeling and the bed skirts had big, frayed holes. The fitted sheet was too shrunken to fit one of the beds and was barely hooked over the very top of the corner of the mattress, showing the mattress cover underneath with a big brown stain of something dripped down the side of the mattress. It was quiet enough, though, and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Now, you might think that because Los Angeles water tastes like drinking from an over-chlorinated swimming pool that this massively profitable chain might provide a couple bottles of complimentary water for guests inclusive with the $200/night room, and you’d be wrong. The small basic bottles were $3/ea, which may not be much but seems like insulting nickel and diming on principle. Overall, the place was fine but really not worth the price. I’ve stayed in budget chain motels with the same comfort and in better repair.

    I am handicap and they have you parking in a parking structure that requires stairs and elevator and then once you exit the elevator, you have to walk all the way back to the hotel entrance. I am just learning how to walk from double spine surgery and I found your parking to be insufficient, inconsiderable, inconvenient, unnecessary, and not very handicap, friendly

    High tech elevators have no buttons; use key card. On the 6th floor upon arrival our room was clean, spacious, & well in order. The kitchen was nicely appointed: a dishwasher, 2 burners, a microwave, & a FULL SIZE FRIDGE. Floors seemed quiet & well insulated. BREAKFAST IN THE LOUNGE on the 2nd FLOOR WAS WONDERFUL. BREAKFAST HOURS: MONDAY-FRIDAY, 6:00 AM-9:00 AM & SATURDAY & SUNDAY FROM 7:00 AM-10:00 AM. We had breakfast burritos on day 1, sausages and potato patties on day 2, with scrambled eggs, the oatmeal section was yummy, fruits, make your own waffles, bagels, toast, yogurt, & a great variety of drinks. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf onsite is GREAT. Our family had an excellent stay & the Hilton staff should be proud of how they are running and organizing this location near the airport. We hope to stay here again some time!

    Very comfortable stay; close to the airport yet quiet. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious! Parking of your own car a bit pricy, so would recommend using shuttle or other public transportation. A note on the shuttle bus, the hotel’s name is dwarfed by the car parking garage’s name, so hard to know if the shuttle is actually for the hotel.

    We arrived at 10 pm to check in, due to the time of our flight landing. It appeared that they didn’t have a room, the staff called someone to try to get a room for us. Heard them say, no they booked through Expedia. I said I have Hilton Rewards, we were then given a room with H hotel instead. While the room was spacious, the air had not been on, so it was stuffy when we arrived. The shower was infested with gnats. When trying to access continental breakfast was told it did not apply to me because I was staying in H Hotel. Once I confirmed my Homewood Suites reservation we were allowed to access. Not a great experience.

    When we arrived we were charged an additional fee of $50 to check in 30 min early. The entire hotel smelled like sewage and the tv didn’t work nor did the Aircondition. After requesting for maintenance 3 times we finally got a new tv the air conditioner was not functioning. The hotel front desk was rude and not very accommodating.

    Many negatives...First don't plan to park here, they charge you extra to park a car here. Second, they charge you a $300 incidental fee(per room) even with room fully paid and say it will take 5-7 days to return the $300, that is ridiculous!     Rooms and location are great. The convenient little fact that there's a subway attached paired with the coffee spot. Great quick options for a snack or drink. Bed was very nice. First room AC didn't work so I had to get another room but that was easy enough. Great service, decent price and perfect location. Would go back. Didn't hear any traffic or plane noise at all even though it's so close to LAX.

    The rooms are spacious, but they need to step up their breakfast (basically 2 stars). Quite possibly the worst hashbrowns I've ever had. Hashbrowns shouldn't be chewy. Highlight of the stay was Alex at the front desk. He went above and beyond to help check us in quickly and also helped us navigate the less than intuitive deli self-checkout, all while checking in other guests and fielding phone calls simultaneously.

    Seems to have been recently remodeled. A bit of a strange smell, perhaps from new carpet? AC took 1/2 hour to kick in and also seemed to turn off at night as I believe its motion sensor controlled. So if you don’t move in bed I think it shuts off. Restaurant was very expensive but there is a Coffee Bean inside as well as a good deli across the parking lot and a subway one door down. Overall highly recommended.

    Nice service by the Asian woman working at the restaurant and taking my order almost immediately…I prefer listening to some classical music (instead of pop music) in the background…also, when it was busy at night (with four family units in line on a Saturday evening in the summer) at the check-in counter, there was initially only one worker…the manager seemed to be standing idly (talking about waste of resources), by not doing anything to help…only later did another check-in clerk showed up.

    One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast. It had a nice variety of hot and cold options, and everything was fresh and well-stocked. The location is also super convenient—close to shopping, restaurants, and highways, but still quiet and peaceful. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and modern place to stay in the Oakbrook area, I definitely recommend the Hyatt House. Would absolutely return!

    I always enjoy staying at Homewood Suites but this time when I got to the room it was uncomfortably cold and I could not get the thermostat to operate for heat. I called the front desk and they sent a maintenance man promptly and I was grateful for that. I suggest that clear instructions for the operation of the thermostat be posted.

    We were there for 2 nights. They didnt make our beds the first night. They left our dirty towels in a pile in the corner of the bedroom (we didnt put them there). When I called for extra towels and mentioned the bed weren't made they had no comment. Evidently they only do beds every other day but my husband was only told this after he mentioned it. Also kind of lost on people staying for two nights (at about $900 per night). We got locked out of the room the second day as the lock on the door wasn't charged and spent 30 minutes sorting that out. We like the spacious room. The beds were comfortable and nice bathrooms. The kitchen could use an update. One of the doors wouldn't close at all. Weve stayed here twice before but not sure we'd do it again.

    Having a shuttle to pick up and drop off LAX was convenient. Close proximity to the airport. The water temperature in our room was quite hot... I called front desk a couple times to inform them the issue, despite being transferred to a different room it was still the same issue. Additionally, I called front desk for housekeeping before we leave the room the first day, but when we came back 7 hours the room was not cleaned.

    Very unhealthy sewer smell coming up in the bathroom and the elevators. The smell at 3:00 a.m. woke us up so sick and with the most severe headache we've ever had in our lives. We are so groggy that we fell back to sleep until 9:00 in the morning and woke up so sick that we could barely even function to get the attention of the appropriate staff. When the maintenance engineer did get up there he told us all about how it had been like that for a long time and it was getting worse I was blowed away. We immediately insisted that we were moved to a different room it took us two days to clear our systems out from the toxicity that we were exposed to. Management refused to contact us during this time so we called you. Please handle this most professionally for which it's a serious problem and many more are going to get exposed to this before the problem is solved I'm quite sure of. I have been a contractor most of my life and this is one thing that you are absolutely against the rules to share your employees with this type of surroundings in the field there is very strenuous precautions involved in this type of exposure. as we were checking in something really confusing came about we were asked to hang on a minute as the clerk ran up to the room as we found out when we got to the room the clerk had fired up the dishwasher with dishwasher chemicals in it to cover up the smell when we walked in we immediately smelt the dishwasher but there was another odor this was around 12:00 at ni

    The hotel was nice but I didn't appreciate the hidden fees. I paid ahead of time through Hotels.com and was told all fees were paid. When I arrived at the hotel they took a $300 for a deposit and charged me $60 to park for one night.     Unit was in pretty bad condition had a significant smell (sewer) to be exact. was not deep cleaned dust and Debris still on floor/carpet . There’s was no cold water in first unit we thought well maybe it’s just this unit we told the people at the front desk they switched us into a different unit only to have the same issue , we had to shower with extreme hot water which leads to skin /scalp dryness not a good thing ! trash was not taken out from previous party , the smell was not as bad on this one, the hallway and elevator did however have the smell , staff at the cafe seem bother when you go to order not friendly -they don’t smile at all ! Very unpleasant experience for me and my family we will NEVER stay here again !. They advised us about a parking fee on the confirmation email when we checked in another amount was given this is not ok luckily I had read the small email and showed the amount stated in such. Overall not a good place to spend your money. Breakfast is very basic and food is not fresh dishes were not clean seemed unsanitary. Hotel has thin walls as you hear a lot of noise from neighbors rooms . Don’t stay here save your time and money

    Homewood has been my go-to place for years when I travel, always good and consistent. However, this time got me. After a long overseas flight I got here late night, sweaty and tired. There is a posting saying AC would need 10-20 minutes to turn on by a ‘eco-friendly’ motion sensor. But after an hour AC was still dead. I called front desk twice and the lady said she would get back with me in a few minutes. Never occurred. Every time you check in you get this very friendly personal text to thank you for your stay and asking you to reply if there is anything you need help. So I replied to ‘Daniel’ and asked for help but it went nowhere, I guess this text was a computer generated ‘personal’ message and no one to follow up. Anyway I went to sleep around 2am in a stuffy AC-off hotel room, disturbed and not happy. Otherwise, hotel is clean, spacious and comfortable. I hope this ‘eco friendly’ AC is just an isolated system breakdown not a trend from now on.

    Upon arrival it was great! after a few attempts and disappointments with my bank I spoke with the general manager who made things much easier for me, once I arrived at the location the actual manager on site made it very difficult for me and did not keep the GM word and charge me a complete other price. He was kind of rude. I was not informed that the room was cleaned on every other day basis which is something I did not like I like clean sheets every day especially if I am paying almost $300 a night for a room. Housekeeping needs to be a little more attentive of what is being used I was not refilled on sugar for my daily coffee, very disappointed. Overall it was an ok stay. I will stay elsewhere next time though. Somewhere where my little pennies will be counted.

    Food at breakfast some things like chopped fruits and cream cheese had gone bad. Water pressure in faucets and showers was very bad. I had checked with the hotel before booking and was told they had an outdoor heated pool. Upon arrival found out there was a small outdoor pool like a kiddie pool which I was told was heated but still very cold by check in rep. Truly disappointed.

    Wonderful hotel! Staff were friendly, room was clean and comfortable, free breakfast was better than average, etc. Airport shuttle was free. Will definitely stay next time we’re in LAX.

    The staff were amazing, nice, and had great customer service! The property and our room were very clean, spacious, and it was nice. However, some areas of the hotel did have an unpleasant pungent smell. Like the elevators, hotel floors, and my room a little bit. Parking at the hotel was a bit confusing as well. Beware if you have a vehicle it cost money to park your car at the parking garage at the hotel. I recommend to pay for your parking with the hotel if you do planning on coming in and out a bunch. I just wish parking instructions were a little bit more clear.

    Excellent stay. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. We were grateful that she let us check in a bit early after an 11+ -hour flight to LAX from overseas. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a comfortable bed and nice shower. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant, which has a good variety of items. Most important, we appreciated the reliable shuttle service, as we had to be at the airport at 4 am the next day.

    The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. But the room was not perfect maintenance-wise. Also we struggled parking. The instruction of the parking was not kind- very confusing.

    The rooms were initially nice and clean but there was minimal housekeeping. We called the front desk multiple times in regards to this but that didn’t resolve anything. We had to directly call the housekeeper that was on our floor to clean our room.

    breakfast was ok. I did not enjoy paying $60 per night for parking. ouch. overall, trip and money spent was well worth it. last time I came to LA was in 2007 and obviously things have changed since then.

    i booked a room with full kitchen, even tho we do have complimentary breakfast included, we have a toddler with us just incase we hungry at night, there kitchen smoke ventilator is not working. and we stayed for a week, so we have so much dirty clothes, there laundry room for guest is currently out of service. i have to bring our dirty clothes back home. overall our stay is just okay. :) even its a lil inconvenient.

    We couldn’t watch TV no remote.the water didnt get hot.they were tell people different prices for parking.Told one lady $55 tryed to tell me $55 a night until i showed them the email where it said $42 a night.Parking was horrible

    Hotel is nice, but I was confused on the actual housekeeping. It did not come in day one. I asked the front desk and they told me "housekeeping is by request only". So I told them to clean the second day and that still did not happen. After 4 phone calls, someone finally showed up. I know this was a thing during Covid but did not know hotels still did this and if so just tell me at check in. We should not have to guess if there is going to be housekeeping.
