Location is some sketchy.

Everything was very clean and well kept. The only drawback was when I arrived early & asked about checking in early, I was told that there would be a $50 fee, even though my room was ready.

It was great. Breakfast in the morning was also great. Very happy.

Clean and comfortable but can you please give guests the option to have a ceramic mug for their corree rather than a paper cup? It is not healthy to drink boiling hot water tea or coffee from a paper cup which is the only thing supplied by the Hotel.

Low on towels, 3 large towels for 2 people not enough. Had to ask for more. The soup and body wash was out had to ask for it as well.

We had a very pleasant stay at Hampton Inn. The location is convenient and close to everything we needed. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was a standard continental breakfast with a good selection to start the day. Overall, a great experience, and we would gladly stay here again.

Loved our 3 night stay. Arrived 4 hours before check in, asked if they could hold luggage, instead was given a complimentary early check in. Breakfast was yum. Would return again.

It is a nice hotel with easy access. Free breakfast could be improved and the rooms are not cleaned / made every day due to staff shortage. But all and all was ok

Everything was good as usual. The breakfast is very tasty. One liner thing is the hotel is under construction, so the dining room was closed today, but they made allowances that you had to take your food to one floor down to eat.

This was my first time visiting LA and this hotel did not disappoint! The hotel is located a couple blocks from the holly wood walk of fame which is an easy 15 to 20 min walk. The hotel was recently renovated and is very clean and modern. Our room was comfortable and clean.The daily breakfast options were great with a wide selection for everyone and the hotel staff was very helpful and answered any questions we had. Will definitely stay here again, if i visit LA. I highly recommended this hotel!!

Housekeeping services, however, are only every two days unless you ask. Spacious, clean, comfortable room and good breakfast. Great Hollywood location.

If you are planning to have a vehicle, look out for the $50 a day to park at the hotel you already paid for!

The hotel was clean , the lady that works evenings was amazing and helpful. Free breakfast was a plus for my husband and he loved it.

Hampton doesn’t pretend to be five star. No marble. No awesome lobby. But the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean; the bed was the best. Outlets for electronics charging were plenty. The TV wasn’t intuitive or easy to use but I didn’t go there for TV. Breakfast was better than most, hot, well tended and clean. HVAC worked. The place was convenient and well worth the price.

over priced rooms, you can't control the fan on the a/c, the bathroom door was a barn door style and wouldn't stay closed so no privacy in the bathroom. Was not a10 minute walk from Hollywood blvd

I would not stay during renovations. Not sure if the walls are normally extremely thin but I could hear everything going on next to me, above me, and below me. Work was being done below me and I can hear every hammer bang and it would shake the bed/wall. And it started fairly early so I barely got any sleep.

Found a toothbrush on the bathroom floor upon arriving in the room and had no water from a burst pipe for about an hour on day 3 of our stay. The staff was great about dealing with it all and very apologetic. The hotel was close enough to main attractions on Hollywood Blvd. Having said all that, we would stay there again.

a bit small for a Hampton Inn( I stayed in another Hampton in Orlando and near BDL in CT) and not a lot of seating but its ok for the area its walkable to some touristy spots in Hollywood

Spent a week with my family in Los Angeles the location was spot on everything was within walking distance to Hollywood Boulevard! No parking only valet at 45 dollars a day! But other than that we had a great time!

All 3 days of my stay the juice machine was out of service for breakfast and not enough seating. Considering the expensive daily rate you’d think they would have another machine as back up as well as enough tables seats. Also house keeping is only by request. I came back to my room expecting it to be cleaned and towels bedding replaced but I was sadly mistaken. Also I acquired a bug bite of some sort the first night sleeping there. An unpleasant experience forsure. The staff were helpful to accommodate me with extra towels and valet was a good man but also $45 a day to park there is ridiculous. Then a fire alarm was set off my last day there which shut off elevator access to use, so I had to carry all my luggage down a couple flights of stairs at check out. Prolly would have been better off sleeping in my car. $550 down the toilet forsure.

First night the AC is not working

I stay here frequently when I’m in town for work and the staff often recognize me and go out of their way to make me feel welcome and I’ve never had any issues with customer service or issue or amenities being insufficient.

The last day we returned to the room and found the sink with a heavy coating of black water covering it almost completely. We had a long flight that night and couldn't shower or freshen up as we had planned because of that. We had paid extra for a late check out and after complaining to the manager the refund that was offered was unsatisfactory. Not very professional when our inconvenience was apparently not so important to her. We were very disappointed, since she is the public face of the hotel.

Breakfast was delicious. The facility overall was very clean snd the staff were very niice and helpful!! I would definitely stay here again if i was in the area. The kids loved the heated pool!

This trip was for my son’s 5th birthday. We flew in from Virginia and stayed for nearly a week at the Hampton Inn. The hotel was excellent but the staff really went above and beyond. They were so kind to my son and played a big part in him having such a great birthday. Thank you to everyone!

The breakfast had a great variety of food, and everything tasted good. The shower had consistent hot water, which was a big plus. Overall, I had a wonderful stay. I would definitely give it 10/10 and highly recommend it to everyone!

This property is not in a safe location. Pool is not heated and is tiny. Beds are not comfortable and pillows are lumpy. Bathroom door didn’t close and etc.

Everything was fabulous, but I have to knock it down a star for the barn door design for bathroom doors. Worst design decision ever. Who decided, “How can we take away any privacy the bathroom door provides? I know! Let’s put in a barn door with a 1 inch gap! Great idea!”

The pool is too small. And the hallway inside smells like vinegar/rotten milk. However the staff were nice and courteous.

Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. They have sliding doors to go into the bathroom and ours wouldn’t stay shut so we had to stuff a towel in the crack to keep it shut. Breakfast was good, a pretty good variety of food. My biggest complaint is the parking. You have two options, you can valet for $49 a night and your car will be safe in a parking garage or you can park on the main street where thousands of cars are driving by and homeless people are walking around. We had a rental car and didn’t want to take any chances so we paid the $49 a night for valet. It’s also super inconvenient if you need to grab something from your car. Staff was very nice and helpful. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again if the parking was free

We called from the airport and asked if we could check in early, before we drove there as we had a bit planned for the day and if we couldn’t check in, it wasn’t too big of a deal. The person answering the phone barely spoke above a whisper, didn’t ask who was calling or what room we had; just that “ we should have something in an hour” which worked perfectly for us; as we were an hour away. We got there, and were told room wasn’t ready, but it only should be a couple minutes- again- no issue as we were early. And

Only negative was that the outdoor pool was ad ertised as heated, but was very cold and we had looked forward to using the pool. But would not deter us from staying here again, everything else was excellent, would highly recommend

The hotel has a small pool and gym. Good location - 1km walk to Hollywood Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd is literally outside. Good connection to metro trains and busses. I had no problem getting around from this base. Would definitely use this hotel again. Limited restaurant choices within close proximity unless you are happy with fast food. This isn’t the fault of the hotel though.

I had a $33.00 on my account that I don’t know what for. The hotel took a $50 deposit charge me $17 for a free breakfast and kept the remaining balance.

We booked a space for 3. At arrival the sofa bed was not made. We try to extend it but it was broken. We have asked for repair nobody come in. We accepted at the end a rolled bed. This is not a Hilton quality, a big scam to run away. Please organise an investigation and refund the money.

I had emailed the Hotel about keeping our room for a later checkout and interconnecting rooms and was told that should be okay but when we checked in this was not the case. I was told there was no interconnecting rooms available and that they did not know about the late checkout. Staff not really helpful with this.

hotel has lots of open underground parking but it's forcing guest for valet parking only, that too at a very exorbitant price of $45 per day. That's like cheating, because this is not mentioned clearly when I was making my booking.

Hampton quality was as we expected with clean room, very friendly staff, climate controls were very good, and breakfast was also very good as usual. Since we had booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for our Universal Studios trip, most all went well. The one exception was that in one the room’s loveseat’s pullout bed, it was broken by prior guests and inoperable.

Hotel was great! The employees were attentive and the complementary breakfast was delicious. Only complaint is their pool is really small.

Easy checking in and out

Mattress was lumpy. Sofa bed was fragile (we moved from 1 room to the other, because it was broken in the 1st one).

First of all, they make you use the vallet parking and overnight charge is $45 while the parking is right in front of the building. Second, there could be more sensitivity for vegetarian people in the continental breakfast. Most hotels we visited make the omlette meat free, but this hotel put ham in it. Why? In the second day, it was cheese omlette but it had bacon taste. I believe they used the same surface. I don’t think they respect people with dietary limitations.

The bathroom doors do not have locks. Free breakfast: Eggs, meat, and potatoes are placed together in a single vessel with partitions but only one lid, so the steam mixes across all sections. As a result, vegetarian items like potatoes absorb the smell of eggs and meat, which is uncomfortable for vegetarians.

Did not appreciate the required valet service. The parking fee was bad enough. But having a valet just makes it a hassle for vacationers who pack alot of stuff, and want to make a few trips to the car to get things or put into the car. Not staying here again.

It’s okay

Room was clean but the bed was very uncomfortable. Not only was it creaky and loud but it felt like sleeping on a bed of coils. Discovered that housekeeping is done every other day. So we got back to a room without clean towels, unmade bed and full trash bins. Wasn’t happy having to pay for valet parking, which comes out of the $300 deposit they take upon check-in. The only bright side, was their free breakfast buffet, which had some nice choices. In addition, the 2 women who sets up the buffet are very friendly and was very accommodating to my dietary needs. I won’t be staying there again, as I’m sure there are better options for the price.

Note this hotel only serves breakfast and no room service or dinner. Another thing is that it is valet only. Valet staff is very nice and friendly as well, no long waits. The hotel itself is beautiful and very well taken care of, as well as clean. Only con is the area as it is located close to the Hollywood area that is a little rough looking. The upside to this is that a lot of good bars, restaurants, Hollywood attractions, Hollywood Forever Cemetery are walkable or short driving distance away.

My wife and I had a great time in Hollywood, we made a great decision by choosing Hampton inn and suites Los Angeles/hollywood. the room was spacious and extremely clean and the employees were more than welcoming they made us feel like home, we loved how everything was close by it was our first time in Hollywood and also our first time going to universal studios. We plan on going again to ride the fast and the furious roller coaster and we know were to stay.

The Valet guys were great! The Staff was also great! We itially we had a room with one great bed and one absolutely terrible bed (it was very uncomfotable and made noises every time we moved). They did allow us to switch rooms and the both bed in that room were uncomfortable and made noises as well. I was afraid to switch again not knowing what we would get again. Also, the water in the second room seemed to never get as hot as the previous room. And i think both faucets leaked n the sink. Also, the dryer in the laundry area was out of order for 5 days. We had to go else where to do clothes. The facility there was very clean and everyone was friendly. I definitely have mixed feelings about the place. It's in a good location however, i would rather comfort overall and am not sure i would stay there again or recommend

Staff was courteous. Room was meh. Pillows were flat, bed was not comfortable, shower was draining slow felt like you were standing a pool. Not all electric outlets were working properly, had to use the wall plug in the bathroom to charge phone. Which was an inconvenience since I use my phone as an alarm. Overall it was ok.

System wasn’t working. Waitied until 3 am to be able to check in with no sleep and no alternative option was provided other than waiting until whenever the system was fixed or refunding (which takes days) and going to stay at a different hotel. There was also no drinking water available unless it was purchased.

The beds and pillows were comfortable, the room temperature was easy to adjust to our liking. The staff were friendly upon arriving each day. The location was easily walkable (there's a great taco truck around the corner). We were happy with the cleanliness. The pool was outside and unheated, so it was great in the heat, but not so great on cooler days. I was surprised but the $100/day additional charge in case of incidents. Since the room was paid for and they had my credit card info on file, this seemed unnecessary. Overall, everything was good and I would recommend staying here.

Yes, I had a wonderful stay. The hot breakfast was great, the staff kept my luggage locked up for me until I check in at 3pm because I arrived at 11:00 am and they kept my luggage locked up at 10:00 am on check out day because my flight did not leave until 10:45 that night. So, I was able to walk around in Hollywood until my flight time. The only negative thing is that they don't have any drawers in the room to put your clothes in and the safe would not work properly in the room. Other than that everything was excellent. We absolutely loved staying at this hotel! Everything was perfect and our room was beautiful. The only downside of staying here is it’s in the middle of Hollywood, which is a bit dirty and unsafe at night. The streets smelled like urine. Nothing to do with the hotel! Plan for parking on the street or pay $50 each day for valet. We opted for parking on the street which wasn’t too inconvenient. 5/5 Hotel.

We have stayed at many Hampton Inns throughout the US and this was the nicest one we have stayed in by far. Everything was clean and updated. The housekeepers should get a raise! I always clean the room again before we put our things down in every hotel we stay in and this room was very clean.

Would not recommend, we were given our room key when we arrived and walked in on a used room. Girl up front wasn’t super nice about it and seem annoyed with us. Wasn’t offered anything for the inconvenience. They don’t come to clean our room we had to ask for towels several times for a family of 4. After an hour they brought 2….we called again and just ended up going to the pool to get our own towels. About 45 min later they randomly brought us a bar of soap…we asked for towels not soap. Would not recommend this hotel

The rooms were spotless, and the service was top-notch—friendly, helpful, and attentive. But the real highlight was breakfast! So many options to choose from, and they even had two kinds of waffles. A perfect start to the day. Highly recommend!

The hotel was very clean and well-kept. The location was excellent — convenient to Hollywood, Universal Studios, and Griffith Observatory. It was also easy to reach downtown; just a 30-minute bus ride away.

The hotel was very clean and I appreciated being able to get coffee or tea at any time. The pool area is depressing, but there's not a lot of space to do much about that. The wifi kept going out, which was a problem.

The hotel is located in a very nice area. There’s a convenience store near, a few fast food options, restaurants and very near from Hollywood Blvd. The staff was very friendly and in the mornings there’s some breakfast and is real nice. Yes, in the nights probably you will hear noises from the streets, specially cars speeding like they were in the movie fast and the fuirious, but hey, that’s LA! You get used to it! My first time in LA and I loved it!

None of the electrical outlets worked and was not fixed till 30 minutes before check out. They comped the additional $50 fee for parking. Feel like they should have done more. Nice people but wouldn't stay there again.

The property itself was nice, we had no issues, it was clean and we did enjoy our stay. We felt safe there on the property but the location of the property was questionable. You see lots of unkept buildings and dirty streets. It was the Westside of Hollywood, not glamorous side of Hollywood but I have no complaints of the property and staff they were all great.

The hotel is nice in general. We stayed in a suite with a King bed and sofa bed. The sofa bed was terrible. The mattress was so thin and you could feel the springs pocking you.

The service was phenomenal, the place felt very clean, and the breakfast was not that bad. My only complaint would be that there should be an option for self-parking on the premises.

I got this room specifically so my kids could sleep on the pull out bed. Pull out bed was completely destroyed when we tried using it. The best they could do is bring us a twin mattress to sit in the floor. The bathroom set up was super awkward and our door was broken and constantly opened into the sink area. AC kept turning itself down super low to 63 even though we would set it at 71. One nightstand had ZERO plugs while the other one had multiple plugs. Matress wasn't super comfortable either. I'd find another hotel next time I'm in Hollywood.

Traffic is an absolute nightmare. If you like traffic and loads of humans come on down.. If you like peace and serenity stay away.... It could take you 30 minutes to go a block..

The location is a bit of a downside — it felt somewhat dirty and not very safe, but that’s Los Angeles, so it wasn’t really a surprise. Still, I would recommend this hotel.

PropertY is on Vine a few blocks down from Hollywood where the stars are. Good treck to the Dolby Theatre area. Close to Paramount. The property was clean but only cleaned every other day which may be the norm now. They were good in getting us towels if we asked. Breakfast was great. Beds and Pillows comfortable.

The hotel was okay for a few days stay. It's decent but nothing impressive. Breakfast is adequate but not impressive.

The service was very nice. Friendly staff and easy check in and out. The room could have been a bit cleaner. We did notice stains on the comforters. We did also ask for someone to come change them the next day but that did not happen. We would stay again. The room was extremely tight though. Maybe a little tight for a family of 4. Overall though it was perfect for 2 nights and close to Universal Studios.

The rooms were comfortable and very clean! The staff very polite and helpful. The area was safe enough, we used lyft for our transportation but we didn’t see any homeless around the hotel. Very good location in the middle of all the hotspots. Definitely I recommend staying there and we will go again!

Excellent Valet parking. Valets assisted with loading and unloading wheelchair without being asked. Prompt. Who gets a Valet at a Hampton Inn? Well here one does.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. One hook in the bathroom or hanging clothes or towels was broken (421) but other than that, the room is very nice. Fortunately, the guests in the room directly above us did stop jumping on the floor about 10:30 p.m. so we were able to sleep and did not have to contact staff.

Great choice, nearby a lot of restaurants and convenient to use public transportation. Although, the area at night can be a little sketchy. The hotel was great, the breakfast, staff and amenities.

Rooms had lots of room, odd smell in them, staff was friendly. No options for food except breakfast.

Room great other than that the condition of the upholstery on sleeper couch and desk chair which needed cleaning, and I reported this to front desk. Maintenance or cleaning staff entered room, without notifying me, to look at the couch & chair but no follow up occurred. The studio room is very nice w 2 large windows, very nice bathroom set up, and small kitchenette out of eyesight of the bed. Very comfortable bed, good air con. Very kind staff at front desk and w cleaning, as well as w valet. Breakfast room could benefit w attention to the set up of the furniture -- crammed against the drapes etc.

The property did not inform us that we had to order housekeeping every day. Unfortunately, we had to find this out on our own. We checked and it was not disclosed on Expedia or on the Hampton site. Other than that, the hotel is very clean and the beds are comfortable. We also appreciated the breakfast and the all-day coffee.
