Staff super welcoming. Room was very clean and spacious. Ample parking for the one vehicle. No elevator so guests need to be mindful of any physical restrictions but they have suites on the ground floor for mobility needs. Very easy to get onto freeway.

This was my 2nd visit to the Regency this year, and it's quickly become by go-to hotel in LA. Easy check-in, onsite parking, walkable to restaurants, and easy access to the highways. Will definitely return!

The room was very clean and cute when we walked in but the lamps weren’t working and we couldn’t charge any of our devices on one full wall. The other outlets were a little flimsy as well. Also, there’s not much you can watch on the tv and the shower was fine until everybody else showered and I tried to shower but there was only one temperature…boiling. I tried moving it all the way and it didn’t change. Ended up having to shower with a little stream of water.

Woman who checked us in was very nice. Parking was good. Towels were old & scratchy. Drain in tub looked corroded - hard to feel clean after a shower. No shampoo/conditioner - just a terrible all in one packet.

What a great place! We needed extra space nearby for family to stay during a graduation event. My mom loved her room and said everything was very clean and quiet.

I only stayed one night passing through the area and it was fine for that. Close to lots of good food and coffee shops. The room was large and clean. However, in my room, there were no accessible outlets on or near the nightstands, so phone and watch charging had to happen across the room; and the night stand lamps only worked by a light switch near the door — so no way to turn them on and off from in bed. Also, each individual device needed its own WiFi sign in. Why? Little things for one night but would have been annoying for a longer stay.

It is a basic hotel, but you can't beat the price and location. It is right on Colorado so there was some street noise, but nothing that was that bad (although our room was not street facing).

Wonderful stay, very clean, comfortable bed, friendly staff. It has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, Kuerig, tea kettle, and the nice things that for a comfortable stay.

Check in was simple and efficient. Parking area is small would not accommodate vehicles with a trailer attached. No elevator so have good back and knees to lug your suitcases up and down stairs! Remote for tv did not work as it was universal but not paired correctly and is not accessible friendly for those who need closed captioning. Beds were decent and room was clean. AC unit is loud but works well. Checking out was easy just dropped off key. No bells and whistles hotel but a decent place to rest your head.

Broken air conditioner in 2 rooms and it was 93 degrees that day

WiFi was fine , however room was very cold even as we adjusted thermostat .the air flows straight to the bed so at night it’s very cold

The hotel has been renovated. It's not super fancy but does the job, especially if you are only using the room to sleep and shower. The only thing we did not like was how thin the walls were. Our neighbors were not loud but we felt like we knew exactly what everyone was doing at all times. I was able to sleep with a white noise app and ear plugs.

The night staff was rude. When checking in the first thing he asked was "how many people were checking in?" I said 2, he replied "NO GUEST!" The room was basic and clean for what we needed. Stores and freeway are pretty close. I was glad to leave and will not be back.

I was driving a van that was higher so we were unable to use the lot. I would like to have seen that issue on the website. I had to park in the street which was ok, but I was not comfortable leaving it in the street. Once again Marisa said the employee on duty would watch out for any issues.

Great area lots of places to see and stop at. It’s very quaint and quiet. The rooms need a bit of updating but it was very spacious and clean.

The woman checking us in who appeared to be the proprietor of the establishment presented as rude and irritated we had a service animal. She attempted to charge us a $200 deposit because we had him with us. We were on a family get away and my husband very much relies on him. The woman was angry when we pointed out it is not legal to charge deposits for service animals. She sent an email stating their intention of charging the deposit for our service dog. I had stated at the time the reservation, we had a service dog. Upon being made aware it is not legal to charge deposits for people with ADA needs, she then claimed the charge would be for incidentals. We had made the reservations weeks prior to our stay and the reservation was non refundable by the time we had arrived to the establishment. Had the reservations been refundable, we would have left and found a new place to stay, as the motel was very run down. The parking is seriously lacking, and the motel is in no way ADA compliant as they claim. The place has no elevator at all. The place is unsafe, and a death trap in the rain, with no grip mats to prevent falls. Shortly after we left the woman called and stated they were not refunding the deposit due to damage she insists we caused. We did not cause any damage at all. She was irritated with us having ADA needs. I would avoid staying here. The place is unsafe, the worker is rude, lies about damage, then keeps money she is not intitled to. STAY ELSEWHERE!!!

Very convenient location close to the Rose Bowl. Very clean and staff was friendly. Parking is tight and could be an issue depending on how busy they are. Had a patron hit my new car with there door do to tight condition.

Check -in was great. The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Gave me directions to the stores and food places in the area. The room was clean and stocked. Hotel was very quiet. The beds were very comfortable. We all slept well.

Room was clean. Unfortunately they don’t have enough parking to accommodate the number of rooms that they have so we have to park on the street. They were not able to accommodate an early check in, which I understand but was somewhat frustrating and they made no effort to clean our room early and they didn’t know if the room would even be ready in time for the 3pm check in time (we were able to check in at 3:30ish). I definitely think they could improve on their communication skills.

Clean rooms, comfortable bed. Downside; parking is too tight if you have bigger vehicles be ready to struggle a little bit. Also the doors are very loud, got woken up at 330am by someone's door slamming. Anytime any of the neighboring rooms would open and close their door you could hear them slamming, shakes the room a little bit.

Staff was decent, as was facility condition. Parking was crowded and the entrance is dangerous.

They do not have an elevator and I was put on the 3rd floor. Room was fine, but thankfully it was only for the night. The AC made a weird noise night and I had to really block it out to sleep. It I had to go downstairs to deal with it, I would have driven away. The place is clean. Nothing special.

This is a great place to stay for a quick trip. Staff is very courteous and friendly. The room was immaculate and there were several great restaurants nearby.

I HAD A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE, FRIENDLY CHECK- IN AND OUT, VERY CLEAN AND SPACIOUS ROOM, COMFORTABLE BED, AND VERY QUIET.I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH MY STAY WITH DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN.

Also I recommend putting weather stripping on the door, the light shines through. We will definetly go back to this hotel. Like I said, we enjoyed it!!!

I have stayed here before because it is convienient. The room I was in was clean, but thearmoire was missing a door, there was no soap dish for the sink and the retractable clothes line in the shower was missing. The property also needs some paint and general maintenence.

My friend and I were going to a Music Festival and both were driving in from different directions, so we both had a car. We managed but we had to drive back late at night and Park a car off property and walk back. We did not risk not having a spot for the other car comeing back at 1:00 am . Otherwise we were very happy with the property. The Price was excellent. We would stay here again .

I was attending a conference in Pasadena and needed a reasonably priced place to stay for a few nights. My room was clean, smoke-free, quiet, and comfortable. It had everything I needed, plus the room had a mural on the ceiling of the sky with birds.

Nice place at a reasonable rate. 20-30 minutes away from Universal Studios. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Universal Studios.

Clean and convenient along with being well-stocked with toiletries. An elevator would be helpful, especially for guests on the 3rd floor. Parking is a challenge for those with an SUV. The staff is great, especially Johnny!

Biggest complaint is the thin walls. Had a guy in the room above us pacing all day and night and we could hear every footstep. Could also hear neighbors to either side, and every sound outside the door on the balcony walkway. Buzzing to enter the lobby felt weird, like the area was more dangerous than the hotel let on. Easy walk to Starbucks and Walgreens.

This is my second time staying here. Place and room well maintained and clean.

The front desk was accommodating with our late check-in (call first if possible!). Small free parking lot. Everything looks newly renovated. The room was clean and the neighborhood was relatively quiet. Microwave, fridge, coffee pot, hot water kettle, and iron available. The outside walls were a little thin so we could hear folks walking by our room, though no one was rowdy on a Saturday night. I forgot my phone charger plug, and none of the USB outlets in the room worked, so don’t forget your plug! The painted ceiling was a cherry on top.

This place was terrible, the staff was crazy rude and disrespectful, theres was no parking and we were forced to park in the street, the air-conditioner did not work, and the heater would just turn off, the bathroom door did not close, and the shower only had cold or semi warm water, the tv didnt work i had to go buy a firestick to have some tv,

Don't come. The rooms are not clean or safe to stay in health wise. We could not breathe in the room for more than a few minutes due to the dust and chemical air. Paint flecks all over the floor from the ceiling and walls. Expedia refuses to provide a refund, as does this hotel even when we spoke at the front desk about it.

Elevator for staying on 3rd floor would be really helpful. Otherwise very good. Stayed several times.

Thisbwas a wondefful hotel and we had a fantastic stay. It was very clean, comfortable, and the staff was very kind. Ut is situated far enough from the vity center that traffic is fine, but also close enough that the drive is quick and everything is accessible.

The rooms have been updated and were quite nice and clean, way nicer than the price would have you expect! The bed was super comfy and the blinds and blackout drapes were effective. There are Keurig's in the room and extra coffee pods in the office. The only complaint is the towels were thin.

We always stay here when visiting our son at Occidental College. The family room is a nice size for us. We appreciate the free parking (though the lot is small, we’ve always managed to find a place), free WiFi for multiple devices, and ability to check in until 2am since we’re often driving in from out of town. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean and comfy, feels safe, is near a Starbucks, and we like it.

The Regencyvis a decent, if basic, motel. My room was exceptionally clean and it was well maintained. For the price, I was pleased with my stay.

Why was this not made clear to us when we made the reservation? We had no where else to go. So we spent the night at the Regency. My husband and I coud'nt even take a warm shower. HORRIBLE.

I have asthma and the room next door to us stood outside all evening on the balcony smoking and the smell and smoke came into our room! Maybe have a designated smoking area so it doesn’t bother the rest of the guests???

The parking area was small and tight, and it was difficult to find a space by the time I arrived. Additionally, the 11 AM check-out time felt rushed—I prefer hotels with a check-out time of 12 PM or later. The room itself had some issues. The restroom had an unpleasant smell, and although I requested a non-smoking room, I could still detect lingering cigarette smoke. The door did not have a indoor lock or chain. I was not happy about that. While I’m grateful for the stay, these factors will likely lead me to choose a different location in the future.

The rooms are very clean and well equipped with everything you need for an overnight stay. The neighborhood is not the greatest but the facilities are very secure and protected by surveillance.
