I really never write a bad review but they were fixing up somethings and the guy that brought in the truck with supplies was slamming boards at 9a.m. At 8a.m. they began cleaning rooms and the cart was super loud we had to get up and we only slept like 5hrs. I guess thats there way of saying get out! When the staff said I didnt have to put down a deposit I should have known. He asked me to pay for the night and I said I think I paid online and he said NO NO you didnt pay now. I checked my booking and he was right but he could have been professional. There was a hole in the middle of the bed sheet. Attaching pic.Its ok if you are gonna stop for a few hours of rest I guess but other than that never again.

I was actually quite surprising how quiet it was considering the surrounding area. The staff was very efficient, listened to my requests and was a quick and friendly check in! Would definitely stay there again

Staff was good, room was good, the only issue was on Sunday, they were pressure washing the outside floor and the water went into the room and the noise was very loud.

The location was very central and easy to reach downtown LA. The room was noisy and dirty. I saw my white socks almost black after walking around on the carpet. There was construction going on in the motel and it was exceptionally noisy day and night.

Wonderful staff and clean rooms didn’t find no issues everything works from the cold/hot water the towels were also nice and fresh and clean and the bed sheets and pillows as well no stains on the wall and etc weird going on the fridge also works. Parking is also free here which is cool for it’s location it’s pretty cozy like the beds here

Check in was easy, room was clean, bed was comfortable, parking lot was small but there was a couple spots available. Only negative was the woman who tried breaking into our window in the morning!!!

The room had a wierd smell, the shower was dirty, the bed made so much noise and i think the bed frame was broken because the bed sunk in in the middle. Never again!

Parking was ok but very small spaces. For the super expensive price of the room the property was pretty junky. Wires everywhere. Some construction was happening on the roof so there was stuff all over the side walks. The Roadway Inn is a nice place to stay. It's not fancy, and it looked like the property was gong through some renovations, but it was safe to stay there, which was important for me being so close to downtown Los Angeles. The staff was friendly and helped me with my mobility issues. I recommend this hotel.

The property itself is fine. The inn provides parking for the guest and the elevator works just fine. The room itself is decent although keeping the swamp cooler on was a challenge. But the floors were clean, beds were clean, bathroom, basically the whole room was clean. The location where the hotel is is a little suspect. If you're a woman it's probably best to not walk around at night and if you're a guy just be careful ya know, and definitely a no go for kids to walk around at night but ya know thats most of LA. Would i stay here again? Probably, I had no insane problems with the hotel itself and it's affordable.

No breakfast included, but McDonald's is within a few hundred feet. ~25 minute walk to Crypto or LA Convention Center over level ground. Pleasant interactions with housekeeping staff. Clean room, but nothing special. Oddly, no fitted sheet, which is fine, but the flat sheet used wasn't long enough to cover mattress. Since I know the mattress doesn't get cleaned, I at least want it covered with a clean sheet. Overall, I would recommend if your expectations are moderate. 3.0 stars of 5.

When we arrived, the staff were welcoming and accommodating when we asked to switch rooms. The room itself was clean and comfortable for our 3 day stay.

It would have been nice to have more coffee in the room. It's obvious a couple would be staying and there was not enough for both of us.

The room was clean and had a comfortable bed, is al old building different from the website photos, had an old elevator that was out of service, had two staircases on each end, one of them smelled like urine. The cleaning crew was very nice and helpful.

I went there, they give me room number 107. The smell of room is terrible. We tried every room spray but the rug of room was wet. It smells horrible & they don’t even change our room at all.

Nice stay! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming.

I did not feel safe in this area - many homeless camps nearby. Sidewalk to the Inn is urine-soaked and there was feces. The roof is falling apart. There is no lobby; only a window to check in as if the staff, themselves, are afraid of their own guests. The room isn't perfect, but it's nicer than the outside. No egregious issues (no bugs, etc.). It's expensive for what it is, but still cheaper than you'll find in the area. It is a fine place to rest at night as long as you're entering/exiting with a guest/ by uber. Many commotions outside at night - definitely would not leave at night. Try to get back to room before it gets too late.

I had the worst experience of my life—I booked a hotel through Expedia and drove for six exhausting hours, only to arrive around 10 p.m. and be told by the front desk that I should have checked in by 2 p.m., otherwise they give the room away to someone else. I was shocked and frustrated, especially after such a long drive. When I contacted Expedia for help, they informed me that they could refund my money, but the entire ordeal was incredibly stressful and completely ruined what was supposed to be a smooth and relaxing trip.

This place was good for the price. The room was clean and comfortable. It wasn’t as nice as depicted online - you cannot go itnthe office, you have to interact with the staff through a window, which adds to the sketchy feel of the neighborhood. I walked around during the day and felt fine, though there were plenty of homeless, but I was warned not to walk around at night. Ubers can drive in for pickup. The elevator was broken and the stairs were old and smelly. The staff was very nice.

I like the place BCS is near a lot of thing, but needs more atención from owners, more maintenance and clean more often, swimming pool, is destroyed. But, people very nice.

Motel room was clean. The wooden window blinds were broken. Pool is currently under construction. There is no continental breakfast, but many websites online indicate that there 'is' continental breakfast. Websites online show photos of a lobby, but you don't actually set foot in the lobby. All communication happens through a small window slots. Seems to communicate that the immediate surrounding area is unsafe. Staff were friendly, but they make a photocopy of your driver's license which is a privacy concern.

The room was clean; however, the surrounding area is noisy, and it seemed as though guests were coming and going throughout the night, the neighborhood is extremely mixed (plenty of homeless on the sidewalks nearby), and there was no breakfast (although the website says there was).

Before arriving at Rodeway Inn, we were worried by the evident poverty and rundown appearance of the area. Upon reaching the hotel, its old look made us question its safety for our family during a cheerleading/dance event. However, the front desk staff was friendly and let us check in early. The elevator to our third-floor room was old, small, noisy, and frightening; my husband identified a hydraulic problem. Fortunately, our room was nice, equipped with double beds, a TV, microwave, and refrigerator. We chose to use the stairs instead of the elevator during our stay, despite the mildew smell. Walking in downtown L.A. at night felt unsafe, especially for women, due to visible drug use among the homeless population. Despite our initial concerns, our stay was comfortable with no issues, and we were grateful it exceeded our expectations.

Photos are terribly misleading. The building is in terrible condition. The bathroom walls were crumbly and probably moldy underneath those bloated walls. The lamp covers were stained with...??? Bedding was crispy and itchy. The worst part was the room had a smell that we had to air out for a few hours so it would be tolerable. We only stayed because it was just for the night. Had it been a multiple night stay, we would have cut our losses and left. Even the light bulbs were different tones, such a bad experience, looks nothing like the pictures.

We booked here for a funeral we were attending. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and made our check in very easy. Our room was very clean no complaints there. Only thing is that the pool was being renovated and it was a bit noisy. Didnt mind too much though. We have stayed here before and have not had any problems. Will be staying again when we travel to los angeles.

The new room had street noise, and the heat in the room was no where to be found. It was about 50° F by the time morning came, and there were no additional blankets. A visit from Expedia to the property would be a good thing. For the price of what they charged after the initial night, I would've paid $200 more than the hotel I found at the last minute, with breakfast and heat. The new place was also quiet. Overall, I felt fortunate to find a place to stay on Marathon weekend. Please review this property in person.

Elevator and ice maker broken

All in all, I had a comfirtable stay. The room was very nice, clean, spacious and even has a small fridge. However, the exrerior of the hotel does not give a good impression, looks a littlr abandoned and the lift does not work. The staff was very polite and friendly.

Does not look like the description at all. AC was really loud! Bed can use an upgrade it was very uncomfortable and noise, no phone port for charging, area outside was very noise, very outdated

Dirty worse hotel ever !

The property is safe with security staff. It’s a direct 18 minute walk to the Crypto.com arena, with a few convenience shops along the way. One of the lights in my inn wouldn’t turn on, the bathroom light is slow, and the bath faucet doesn’t seem to stop dripping, though these are reasonable flaws for good pricing.

The hotel provided the basics, refrigerator, microwave, iron & ironing board was in the room & this hotel is close to food spots that you can just walk to such as Thai food, subway, McDonalds etc,... there isn't too much parking at this hotel so take note of that if you have a car to park. The room itself was very clean & I had no issues with that, the only negatives I can point out is that this hotel is right in front of a very busy street ( W olympic blvd) so there is an abundance of road noise all day & into the night so if you are a light sleeper like I am I would not recommend this hotel. the noise from vehicles on the street is very loud!. Also the check in time is 3:00pm for this hotel, not the 2:30pm time posted on hotels.com & I am not sure why hotels.com has 2:30 pm but when you get to the hotel the check in time is 3:00pm. Also there are homeless presence on the street close to the hotel as well so be aware of that & the fact that the hotel staff is in a plastic protective barrier so when you communicate to them when you check in & out you will have to talk through thick bullet proof looking plastic between you & the office staff.

It was good for the initial purpose and was also amazed how caring the fellowship came out identified most one at a time cha Ching yet Koreatown seemed so far but so close as one stood in direct light after 7 solid checked roaches creeped out so boldly yet no one saw the Caddy my Eyes my GPS my handlerahlahlolly!

For the rate that I was charged, I was expecting a little to go breakfast in the lobby to make it more convenient for guests. But this facility offers no breakfast in the lobby. Your room may have a microwave & fridge with a coffee maker.

This is a typical motel style property. The room was as you would expect in such a place but the carpet was stained and the bathtub bottom was making cracking noises. For the price paid, I was expecting a cleaner facility with cleaner carpets & better shower/tub, but the place really needs a remodel or rates to be lowered. The property owner is milking as long as possible without making any changes.

Room looked clean at first glance but as we were there longer we realized it was not. There was a hand towel that had not been washed and it was folded with the clean towels. It had some reddish marks on it like lipstick, makeup, or maybe even wine. It was a fresh stain, so probably from the previous stay. The shower had black mold in the tub and ceiling. The tub also had some sort of leak in between the tub liner. There was about 2 inches of water that you had to step on while taking a shower. It was like trying to shower while standing on a waterbed. Stairway to the second floor is indoors, but anybody can access it as the doors have no locks, and it did not have any lights. So it seemed unsafe to walk through anytime of day. I would not stay there again.

Place is close to attractions and restaurants that I was there for. A little pricey but I assume it’s due to timing and location.

We had a crackhead knocking on our door at 3am. He proceeded to knock on several other doors. People screaming at night as well, property/area in general feels very unsafe

i didn’t like how the bathroom lights barely worked, the tv remote had to be 1cm away from the tv to even work… no microwave in there or fridge either. staff was a bit inconvenience
