    The shower setup was awkward resulting in water on the floor plus I needed to request additional bath towels because none were provided when the room was cleaned. On the positive side, communication was daily via text messages regarding if I had any needs or questions

    We attended the graduation for Liberty University and was not familiar with the Hilton Spark. We had an amazing experience from our arrival to departure. The accommodations were great, the staff (Sonja, Bonnie) were excellent.

    Unfortunately, our experience with the front desk was not as pleasant, the woman checking us in seemed bothered by our arrival, which made for an unwelcoming first impression. The hallways could have used a bit more attention, especially with vacuuming. The breakfast was also disappointing. We ended up going elsewhere to eat, and even the “fresh” fruit didn’t look very appetizing. That said, despite a few drawbacks, I would still stay here again because of the great location and overall experience.

    Room was clean, bathroom area small, bed very comfortable. Very good location in Liberty University area. Easy to get in and out of. Only complaint was room had no means to make coffee or tea. Had a microwave but no coffee or even cups to warm up anything to make a beverage. Breakfast was ample but eating area tables hard to get into with set up. Would stay again as long as price stays reasonable.

    It was not a clean hotel - sticky floors in the rooms, stains on the wall; it was clear that the room was not really cleaned. I stayed for two nights and while housecleaning came in to refresh the towels, they did not make the bed. What was funny was that I kept the towels hung, which I thought signaled that new towels were not necessary. The elevator was dirty as well. Because of the condition of the room, I did not try the free breakfast.

    The reason I recommend it's better for a shorter stay, is the breakfast. It is a "bagel bar" which consists of 3 different types of bagels, 2 cream cheese options and boiled eggs. There are also cereals, milk and oat milk. I hit it up for 2 mornings, but after that, I just wasn't interested. There is a sign that says if you want other breakfast options, there are items to purchase at the front desk. There was one Jimmy Dean sausage, egg and cheese pancake biscuit in the fridge for purchase...only $2.50, so a good deal...but I don't like pancake biscuits, so not something I purchased. Would be great if it was a hot breakfast. The room we stayed in (standard King room) was really spacious and had vinyl wood flooring, which is a nice touch. The TV is great and there's a mini fridge and microwave as well. Nice shower as well! The room was excellent. Plenty of towels as well. The gym is great. Good weights, a bench, treadmill and a Peloton bike, which was awesome because I was missing mine! Towels and cleaning wipes. Water station as well. Overall...a great hotel for the value and for a shorter stay.

    The staff here are a delight, which is a rare find in most places we've stayed. If you have pets, it's convenient for both you and them when taking them outside for their needs, along with plenty of space to walk without worries. We missed breakfast because we overslept, as this place is quiet compared to other places in busy areas. Last, but certainly not least, the hotel is nice and clean. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

    Do not recommend! Buyer beware! Cancelled my reservation without contacting me after running my low limit credit card that I used to hold my reservation on a pay at the property. Front desk associate didn’t stand or greet us upon entering the hotel. Refused to rebook us & told us to go to the Home Too. Called Home Too & they wanted to put my party of four in a room with one king & a pull out for more money. No thank you! Made a reservation at the local Marriott and was treated amazingly. Hilton just lost a Hilton Honors member. Marriott is now my go to.

    You can tell from the shower this used to be a sleep inn but completely remodeled with lots of USB and 3 charging stations that you just lay your phone on. Nice overnight stay.

    The front desk team are very friendly. Our room was incredibly comfortable and very clean. Parking was easy as well. You can’t beat the 10% off at the Applebees next door as a guest of the hotel. Highly recommend.

The only suggestion I would make is cotton or cotton blend sheets would have been nice. I kept the room cool, but did not sleep well at all for sweating.     Service details were inconsistent: the TV remote lagged, shower conditioner was not replenished, and the sink tissues were notably low quality. Breakfast was complimentary and varied in form (cereal, bagels, yogurt, fruit), but limited in taste and notably lacked protein - an impressive feat of minimalism. The lobby stairwell was attractive; the upper stairwell corridor felt worn and would benefit from fresh carpet/paint and visual upkeep. Overall, the stay represented fair value, and housekeeping maintained commendable cleanliness.

    Rooms were clean and appeared to be newly renovated. Was not notified that hotel was converted from a sleepinn (choice hotel) to a Hilton hotel. Staff kept referring to it as a sleepinn which confused us in thinking we booked the wrong hotel. It was about 75% complete with renovations. Rooms were missing light fixtures and wifi was not fully functional or not at all at times. Not all of the TV stations had signal (they use dish network). Would have appreciated if we were told these thing at check in. It would have tempered our expectations.

    I did have to wait for the ftont desk staff to show up when checking in. I waited about 10 minutes. There was no bell to ring. I was on my phone calling hotel, when she showed up. We checked in around 6pm. She said she was folding towels, but I did hear a conversation going on and laughing. We had just driven 9 hrs n just wanted to get to our room.

    Had to track down the staff in another part of the hotel engaged in a conversation with another staff member away from the desk in order to check in. More of a flirting conversation than work related. She really wasn't into doing anything that day. The breakfast was boiled eggs and dry cereal. The room was great but everything else about the place was a let down.

    Everything was OK except for connecting to the Internet. Putting in my name and room number didn’t work. So I called the number given to me to get it corrected. The guy on the other end took 20 minutes and still didn’t figure it out. So I tried to call the front desk, but the room phone was dead. Then I tried calling using my cell phone and there was no answer. So I went downstairs in my jammies and slippers, found the desk clerk told her the problem and she was very helpful. She solved the problem in about 30 seconds. It seems that the spark system wants you to sign in and join their exclusive club in order to get Internet access. Pretty lame.

    Lots of options for breakfast and a good timeframe. There were ants all over one of the beds, in the pillows and under the sheets. The floor and desk had not been cleaned. We had to be moved to another room. When we got to that room, there was trash all over the floor. It had not been swept and the chair was all the way across the room instead of pushed in under the desk.

    No microwave in room and don’t like the fact that all ice containers are out on top of ice machine. I guess they remodeling because there were holes on wall over night stand where lights might be. Had to get up in dark to try and find light switch

    It was so close to where we needed to be. It was under construction as it was changing from Sleep Inn to Spark. I paid for my unit through booking but the Sleep Inn tried to get me to pay again.
