Lots of parking. Beds and pillows are amazing. Slept good!! Rooms were very clean. Breakfast is always wonderful. They do a very good job to appeal to all ages.

The staff was great and accommodating, especially Matt DeHaven. We had our family reunion there the entire weekend. We all had a great time, and will definitely stay there again next year.

We were 3 people in the room, and one day they cleanes the room... and only left 2 towels. When we called requesting an extra towel, they wouldn't give us. It was a huge hassle before i could get 1 towel.

Hotel was clean and nicely appointed. Everyone was incredibly nice and professional. Quick easy and affordable The breakfast buffet for $12 a person was lackluster at best. We ate there once and then went to a real restaurant and paid less for much better food. Don’t waste your time or money

The beds were comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot. The hallway was dirty; the room had stains and the door wasn't working properly; we kept having to get a new key. Breakfast was not good; We ate at 9am and there were no eggs left. The food was poor quality.

Staff was nice BUT they did not communicate to each other. I had called the day before our stay to let them know we wouldn't be in until late that night (around 11p) and to ask if we could get a later check out and stay until 2pm. The guy on the phone said it would be no problem just let them know about thr check out when we checked in. When we checked in that night I asked if it would be alright if we did a later check out and stay until 2pm. The lady at checkout said that would be fine and saif she put it in the computer. We went about our day, my husband, salon and I had a meeting to attend from 9-1 and my daughter stayed at the hotel with our youngest until we got back, hence the reason we asked to check out at 2. At 1130 my daughter called and said the housekeeping ladies were standing outside the door talking about how we were late getting out and messing up their plans for after work. They ended up going away and my daughter and youngest went outside for a while. At 1245 the hotel was calling my phone (in a meeting couldnt answer) and they weren't leaving messages. I texted my daughter who had just got back in the hotel anf she said that no one knew we were checking out late. SMH My husband had to leave the meeting and go get them and then come back to get us. It was a mess and all stemmed from no communication on their parts. Also when I hadxalled I asked if we could get a small cot in the room for sleeping and was told that wouldn't be a problem at all. When we got there we were told we couldnt because if there was a fire they would get in trouble. WHAT? Even if thats the truth why didnt they say that when I originally asked on the phone. If they had of we would of planned accordingly and brought an air mattress or extra blankets to sleep on the floor or something. BREAKFAST (if you want to call it that) It was $12/person to start...ok no big deal. Since were paying amd its in a restraunt inside the hotel it should be good, right? WRONG Eggs were runny, sausage was not cooked all the way, biscuits were dough and barely cooked, bacon had grease dripping off of it and the pancakes were literally STUCK to the bottom of the pan. You had to scrape the pancake off of the metal pan and then it ripped and you would leave half the pancake on the pan. "Fruit & Vegtable/salad bar?? I guess thats what it was supposed to be, consisted of hard boiled eggs, peaches, apples, jalapeños, salsa, cottage cheese and some other substance that I had no idea what it was. Pics attached. **the pancakes in the picture were the new pan they brought out after another couple complained. To be fair idk if those stuck to the pan when you tried to grab them because we left right after they came out. I wouldn't complain if it was free hotel breakfast but to charge for that was absolutely unacceptable and a rip off!! We will never stay here again and we will be in this area using hotels ALOT in the next 2 or 3 years. Also the air conditioner was horrible. We had to keep setting it lower and lower just to try and keep the room cool. We had it as low as it would go and the room was still barely comfortable. It was only 60 outside. It was hotter in the room!

Nothing it was it didn’t look clean I’ve been to many holiday inns in my travels and this one was the worst first of all I paid for breakfast included for my family of four but only received a some card that only gave breakfast for 2 people then when my hubby tried to bring Grits to the room while I was the upstairs the rude restaurant people acted like he was stealing mind you while they ripped the stuff on the breakfast ties him $13 for grits. My daughter went to get coffee. They acted like she was stealing coffee. They were all just rude obnoxious. The place was dirty filthy they didn’t even have fruit water like all the rest of the holidays they didn’t have they were awful. The staff the place they were rude. They were obnoxious the only great person. There was the housekeeper who took care of our room. She was absolutely wonderful. She was gracious that she was nice to us. That’s who deserves all the praise for the place because they were absolutely shitty.

The hotel staff was so accommodating from the time we checked in, which was earlier than we were supposed to. Everyone was friendly the room and the hotel everything was clean. We ate breakfast a couple of days at the dining room. It was delicious and we really appreciated the hot coffee and tea set up.

We booked a room with 2 double beds. Upon arrival one bed was dirty and obviously not cleaned from prior guest. It was late and I called front desk and advised I didn’t want to deal with it that night but please make sure it was changed Saturday. Leave early Sat morning and get back later in day and bed never changed. Called front desk again and told them. He apologized and offered a new room which I did not want as we had to leave super early and I didn’t want to pack twice. Paid for a double and we had to sleep in one bed for entire weekend.

The bed was a litrle rough. Im not sure on hotel policy and all but the lack of extra blankets in the room was a little off putting. A little noisy from other time to time but all and all a good experience

Location was close to highway and restaurants Clean rooms and allowed our dog. But charged a $50 fee that was not disclosed upfront and we received a mystery charge of $17.92 after checking out.

Location, lots of food options We booked a king bed and we were given two queens instead of. We were told one was not available, even though we arrived at 2:30 and the parking lot was empty.

Rooms need love

Staff were all nice, particularly young man at front desk, Jacob. Normally we stay at Holiday Inn Express, not Holiday Inn. It was disappointing because it has rooms underground (like gym) which is not nice because of no windows. The hallway on the entrance floor (3rd floor) was slanted upwards like going uphill to get to your room. It was more expensive than other hotels yet had NO complimentary breakfast, which all others we've stayed at do. They put out complimentary coffee/tea/hot water in the morning which were in thermos type containers (not automatic machines like other hotels). Just kind of cheap. The foyer looked nice but other than that it looked old (ie. floors/carpets). The young man at the front desk was great & all staff nice, & cleanliness good. Just in general, the other aspects mentioned made it was disappointing, especially since you're paying more than other hotels. Wouldn't stay again.

Clean room, comfy bed, and good check in and check out experiences. I have family in the area, so I am in Martinsburg a few times a year. This is my preferred place to stay when I go to Martinsburg. This time, I noticed that staff takes special care salting the parking lot when there is a chance of ice. Very considerate!

No the room was fine it was first key cards were messed up i had to go to the desk 10 times to fix the card then had din er Friday night with family and the waitress was slow took to long some family had to leave then the food was horrible the Buffalo sauce was frzen they put cheese curds on my smash buger lastly u have not raken the money out of my account yet

I had requested the same room we stayed in the week before; I guess it wasn’t available, as we were assigned 315 instead of 322. Big difference! 322 was bigger, more updated with newer details: shower, shower mat was new, clean, not moldy.

The staff was amazing from beginning till the end ... the room was spotless and smelled very good and comfortable.. i would for sure recommend anyone to visit here

Pleasant stay!

Stayed one night for a birthday bash in the ballroom. Food was great very clean and comfortable rooms.

We have stayed here in the past during the Apple Butter festival weekend, it’s always very nice. The location is great and it is always very clean and quiet.

Over charged me then wanted to argue with me even tho I had the proof of the double charge.

My second stay here and the quality has waned a bit. Staff was friendly but seemed clueless about some policies and did not share basic info like checkout time, breakfast options, etc. There is a new bar and restaurant in the place since I last stayed so I was hopeful the food would be better (breakfast was awful previously), but room service breakfast was very lacking and I had to call three times to get the entire order. The room had not been properly cleaned before our arrival and there was food on the floor and used washcloths in the shower. We'll find another hotel next trip.

We purchased breakfast as part of our reservations but were unable to use due to fire alarm being activated and building being evacuated. Was disappointed that a refund of cost of breakfast added to reservations was not offered.

Overall the rooms are nice except there is an old musty smell, so the rooms could use aroma diffusers. The hallway rugs are dirty and looks like they don’t use professional rug cleaning. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are kind, especially the cafeteria staff.

The were comfortable, except for the the lack of a cake of soap. It seems as the Holiday Inn had elected to use the nasty bottles of slime.

This is an older property, but VERY clean and well maintained! The rooms are large, the beds comfortable and all linens fresh and clean. The pool is quite large and very clean. Whomever is managing this property is doing a fantastic job!

The HI did not have the booking and the girl at the desk did not care about anything but answering the phone to take reservations for the Sunday brunch. The customer service was aweful. No manager to talk to and and did not want to offer any help will never stay at a Holiday Inn.

Everything was outstanding!

Great spot. We stay there every year on our drive back from SC to NH. Great breakfast comes free with the room—and you order it fresh from the menu, not just the usual buffet that most hotels offer. Also pet friendly so we can bring our dog. Super convenient location right off the highway and near several good restaurants. Highly recommended.

When I booked, it was stating that it had continental breakfast when I got to the hotel, there was a sign stating there was continental preference when I woke up in the morning and Cape Town for breakfast I was told there was no continental breakfast you had to pay for your breakfast Staff was not polite. No one graded say good morning. They just look at you with no manners or respect not even a smile or anything made me feel very uncomfortable.

HVAC easy to control. Good lighting options. Not crazy about having a bathtub shower instead of walk in shower. Tub has some stains. Bathroom a bit dated but clean. Had to ask for a hair dryer. Staff very nice. Has a restaurant which is handy. I was the only person at breakfast but a January Sunday to Monday hotel pretty empty. Would stay again good price.

Nice, well-kept hotel with good amenities in the rooms, soft bedding, and easy access to the highway. There was a lot of highway noise due to proximity and the breakfast although hot was rather disappointing. Staff was friendly and my dog was welcome—we appreciated the poop bags provided outside the back door. Solid for a night's sleep on a road trip.

Excellent hotel and location very near the exit on I-81 with easy access to gas stations and restaurants. The Mexican restaurant was excellent. Check-in agent (Morgan) was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very comfortable. Great stop for a car trip.

The location was close to our family

We arrived at 130 am and I called the desk at 320 after giving enough time to see if heat would kick on. Only blowing cold air. Nice place but no help with heat in the middle of the night. We were leaving at 7 am so it didn’t make much sense to pack up and move in the middle of the night.

It was a great hotel to stay with family and it was easy to have our dogs there too!!

This property is in a good area for access to conferences, dining, and shopping. It is in need of refurbishing; however, we found our room to be clean and neat. One of the best things about the room was the accessible bath. There are multiple hand holds in the tub/shower, making it safer and easier for me to shower. Staff was friendly and professional, especially in the hotel's restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent breakfast.

Room was nice, but like all hotels, the furniture was uncomfortable. Heatherfields restaurant used to be good back in the day when they served prime rib, but now it's the same limited generic menu for all Holiday Inns. Disappointing.

Made reservations via app and the check-in was fast and friendly. After driving all day, we were glad to have the in-house bar and restaurant. Welcoming bar area where we met some very nice folks, incl the Fri nite singer-songwriter. Our waitress was great (!!) & our dinner was good considering it was so late in the evening. Room was clean and comfortable. Dog-friendly! :-) We would stay here again on another north-south trip.

This was a great full service hotel - with a pool, workout room, and a passable full service restaurant. Great value. Noce clean room. Comfy bed. Would stay again.

Good size room and comfortable. Quiet. Restaurant facilities. Plus near other restaurants and gas stations. It did have a much welcomed fridge and microwave. Will go back. Just one little thing, The shower faucet kept dripping. We told management.

Overall experience was very good. I paid extra for the breakfast. At the time, I didn't realize that I would not be allowed to bring food from the breakfast buffet back to my room. This was inconvenient since I had a dog that I didn't want to leave in the room by himself. I was therefore unable to partake of the breakfast for which I paid.

The hotel was quiet and comfortable, as it is undergoing renovations. The check in was great but if I hadn't mentioned that I had paid ahead for breakfast the next morning, they wouldn't have given me the necessary breakfast coupons. With that being said, breakfast was absolutely delicious!

Great location very nice restaurant and a big pool. The pool had way too much chlorine in it and they had swimming lessons going on for 3 hours on two of the nights we were there.

The property is easy to access from I81, and they are very pet friendly.

A nice quiet night off of I81 on the way to Florida. Clean comfy bed- the only downside was no breakfast unless you paid to eat in the restaurant. Not a deal breaker we would stay here again.

The help was outstanding! Was traveling with my 92 yr old mom who was in a wheelchair, help went out of their way without me asking.

This was my 2nd attempt to stay here and both times my bed smell of strong body odor. They’re obviously not cleaning their bedding in between stays therefore I will never stay at this property again.

Check in was amazing. The gentleman that helped us was extremely pleasant and offered information about the hotel such as dining and the pool. We were traveling with 2 grandsons. I would definitely stay here again. The room and bathroom were very clean and the beds were comfortable.
