The breakfast was very good, the pool felt dirty and after being in it, I caught a cold that I still have a week later. Everything else was great

Breakfast menu was fresh and good to eat! The room was very clean. Only small issue was the door to the room was so short at the bottom that a wide beam of light shined into the room from under the door at night and had to place towels there to block it.

The best location! The price was right. The room was HUGE! The only con was the one elevator for such a busy hotel. But I will definitely be staying again when I’m in the area.

There must have been a family reunion. People wew6in the pool making noise at midnight when we were trying to sleep. There was tons of noise. I'm not sure what staff could do about the noise in the hallway, but they could have closed the pool.

Breakfast was better than expected. Didn’t like our room. 1st floor next to main lobby, breakfast area and down the hall from the pool. Noisy. Could hear every footstep from the guests above us. As well as the water running. Probably won’t stay at a Holiday Inn again.

check in was quick and friendly. the room was spacious with a fridge and microwave and very comfortable beds. the room was very dark and quiet at night so we got a good night of sleep. the included breakfast had a good variety and fresh ground and brewed coffee. the breakfast attendant was present to direct guests and keep things stocked and clean. bottle filler on site too.

The thermostat took a little toggling as the wall unit looks pretty dated but once you figured it out, the air worked just fine.

Jaden who was at the desk was helpful, pleasant, asked if I needed any suggestions for dinner. A couple in front of me had a problem with their reservation not showing up and he handled it with grace and concern and made sure that they had a place to stay. Nothing.

Staff was GREAT. Shower was hot, standard "free" breakfast, bed was comfortable. Older building that looks like it had some money spent on it for renovations. I stayed in room 401...VERY noisy. Someone decided that playing trumpet on the street until 10:30pm was a good idea. Additionally you could hear every car/truck going down the road from that room. I'd suggest staying in one of the south rooms if you are a light sleeper.

The room needs a professional deep clean. The carpet smelled bad and had stains. The furniture had stains. Mold under bathroom sink faucet. Hair in the bathroom. Holiday inn use to be known as one of the cleanest hotels to stay. I don't think I'll continue to book with them.

Super convenient right off the interstate. Front desk check-in was a lovely lady who was very friendly and professional and fast. Same with checkout. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly, clean, clean bathroom, comfortable bed, easy to control the temperature. Very quiet. Would’ve liked a better selection of channels on the TV with more options. More sports channel options.

The room had humidity so it may be some mold in there. I seen a bug on the bed the day of check out. I will not be booking this hotel anymore.

Room 120 was hot. Thermostat was turn down to 65 and room temp stayed 70-71. Bottom floors kids above us was running and jumping but overall a good place to stay.

This hotel was great! Our family if 5 slept comfortably in the suite with a pull out couch. Room was spacious and clean. We appreciated having a sink in the room as well as the sink in the bathroom. Breakfast had a ton of options: oatmeal, yogurt, eggs, sausage, pancakes, etc. The coffee machine grinds the beans and makes the coffee! Service was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

The temperature control unit was not draining properly, you could hear it dripping every time it shut off. More than likely stopped up in the drain hole/tube. The units need to be serviced because the room smelled like mold/mildew it had my sinuses flared up.

The property overall was fine. However, the area if very noisy with vehicles that have been modified to sound like stock cars. Additionally, the A/C in my room didn't work the first night. The staff were nice and helpful though.

We were in Hampton, GA at a volleyball tournament that our granddaughter was playing in. This hotel was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in! From the extremely friendly and cordial young man at the desk when we checked in on Friday afternoon all the way to the very friendly and helpful staff in the breakfast area on Saturday morning they all made our stay more enjoyable. Our teenage grandson even commented on how nice the man was when we checked in! The rooms were huge and the beds very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Hampton, GA and surrounding areas!

The excellent staff and beautiful smiles welcome everyone to the facility. I believe every one of them deserves to be recognized for their hard work, and I give them five stars. The next time I fly out to Atlanta, I will stay at this facility

Mcdonough-"hew" we definitely pronounced the city wrong haha. However, this was a WONDERFUL stay to get off the road while on our way to Disney! I do have to say Jaiden was amazing. So polite and quick. Anytime we passed by he made sure we we're ok and had everything we needed. The breakfast ladies were so nice and ok top of everything. From keeping the breakfast bar full to cleaning. We will be back!

I love the location in relation to where we needed to be. I love how welcoming everyone made us feel in the area. The ability to do some shopping in close proximity was a bonus.

I arrived to my room only to find that the thermostat was set to 80 degrees with no way of changing it. I informed the front desk and she placed me in an adjacent room. That room was set to 63 degrees, but the temperature in the room never got below 77 degrees and the AC was blowing what could best be described as "kind of cool air." Front desk offered to move me again, but I had been on the road for about 10 hours or so and was tired. This hotel is ok, but not great for one night.

Very clean, looked new. Landscaping was awesome. Breakfast was subpar. Drinks at front desk are very overpriced. $5.00 for a small tea? Could not get air conditioner cold enough. I think they had a block on the lowness of the temperature. The halls and elevator are like 90 degrees. Staff were pleasant. No vending machines available.

The one window in my room had some type of paper over it that did not move. Couldn’t let it up or move it at all to peek out. So I have no daylight just the room lamps 24 hrs, a day. A little too noisy from guess, maintenance and dogs barking.

This was a great property with excellent proximity to the Atlanta Motor Speedway!

The stay was ok, pretty old property but it is maintained. Parking was definitely an issue... it was never parking if you came in late. Staff was very nice and corrected my issue immediately with my room. Overall it was just ok.. for the price I paid..it wasn't worth it but I made it!!

The checkin was easy and convenient. Lots of yelling in the hallways until 11:30pm or so. I understand thst probably does not happen all the time. But my main issue is the noise from the room above. It is like living in an apartment, can hear the people in the room directly above walking across thier floor. I would not expect this in this type of hotel. And then at 2:48am someone in the room above, sounded like they were jumping off the bed and running across the floor and doing it repeatedly for about 30 minutes. I have stayed in many hotels and this is the worse noise from the room above i have ever have. Because of this i will not stay here again. It will also make me hesitant to stay at another Holiday Inn Express because i am sure they are all built similar, they all will have tbis issue in common.

The room was clean and comfortable. AC was working properly. The pool was in service and clean. My neighbor in the next room over was playing loud music in the evening. It hadn't stopped by 10pm so I called the front desk, and they resolved it immediately.

The young lady who checked us in was very friendly, but after that, this was not a good stay at all and not what I expect from an IHG establishment. I'm a frequent traveler (Both personal and business) and I work in the world of Quality for a medical device company, so quality is what I know. The renovations to this particular hotel were not very well done, as there were water stains on the ceiling where I guess at one time there was a leak, the room smelled a little moldy if you had the air-condition off, which in itself was an older one. The carpet that was laid did not go all the way to the edges of some of the wall corners, so you see the actual concreate or plaster floors. The little refrigerator talked all night and the water control for the shower was installed backwards (You turn the handle toward cold if you want hot and hot for cold), this also had a terrible noise while you showered. This was a handicap room, which I did not request, not sure why you would have a shower chair in a room with a tub and not a walk-in shower, this is a little more conducive for a handicap room. Both nights the hotel was full of kids and their parents (Football tournament in town), which made for so much noise as they were running up and down the hallways and stomping on the floors next to and above my 3rd floor room. It would have been nice to be informed of this at check-in. When I called the front desk to ask if they would look into it on the second night, the young man was rude.

Was great but room keys kept deactivating and had to go to front desk to reactivate at least twice on a 5 night trip. Was annoying to say the least. But the hotel and staff are great.

We were traveling to Florida. AFter a long day of travel we directed this hotel and it was very nice.

Parking was limited due to a group of large vehicles parked poorly

The beds were also horrible but that could have been a result of all the other chaos going around making it impossible to sleep so the beds felt uncomfortable as well. We were suppose to stay 2 nights but opted to leave late the second day and make the 5hr drive home in the middle of the night then suffer through another sleepless night here. We will be returning to the McDonough area quite a bit over the next year and half but will never stay at this hotel again.

Our stay was just ok. The front desk worker wasn't the friendliest and never asked for ID, which I found unusual. Beds were on the softer side but the room was clean. The biggest disappointment was breakfast. I don't expect much from a Holiday Inn breakfast but almost everything was inedible. The eggs were undercooked and runny and the bacon was burnt to a crisp. There was a single brown banana and no other fruit available. Ended up getting breakfast at a drive-thru after attempting to find something enjoyable at the hotel.
