Lay lay is the best! I need to come to McKinney again. I will stay here.

Clean, easy access, nice place to stay. The so called “free” breakfast sucks. Or maybe it is the person taking care of the kitchen just doesn’t care. Ran out of coffee, eggs, yogurt, mix for waffles….with an hour to go being served. May not be everyday, but this happened to me.

The restroom walls and ceilings were falling / peeling off but other than that the superior suite was nice. Rooms are very tight, limited space, but well maintained. Quiet property. Staff was kind and helpful.

We enjoy this hotel, it accommodates my family. I love the two bedroom suite. Gives us our privacy and allows us to feel close in one room at the same time.

Everything was nice. unfortunately pool pump broke right before we arrived and we were unable to use pool. That would be the only strike I would give them but they did offer to call sister property nearby so we could swim. we didn't because we didn't have time. Overall nice stay, only 1 night.

Pet charge is very high $75 dog I have two. And they call it cleaning fee. However the people before had kids and maids didn’t clean the mirror where there was tiny sticky hand prints all over and the floor hadn’t been mop very dirty so what was the cleaning fee I aid for when they can’t even clean after guests before us. But that being my rant. Good friendly propert

Hotel was a little disappointing. Rooms felt cold and uninviting and you could tell that there was routine maintenance that had been neglected. Countertops in the bathroom were stained and the light fixture was rusted and dirty. Bed was HARD and my husband and I barely slept either of the two nights we stayed. Staff called our room at 11pm and accused us of banging on the walls when we had both been quietly laying in bed for the last 2 hours, TRYING to fall asleep. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. You could tell everything had just been reheated and nothing was fresh. Would I stay here again? No. For the same price, I'd rather go somewhere else.

Kitchen was well stocked with clean pots, pans and utensils. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and were very impressed with the room layout. Very comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay there again.

We had an issue with our room. Lee went above and beyond to get it fixed and make sure our stay was wonderful. A representative like her makes a very big difference in if we will return or not. We will be back in 2 weeks. And now have a favorite place to stay when in the area. Breakfast on Sunday morning was delicious and everything was kept restocked. I didnt get the name of the great lady that made that happen bit she did an incredible job as well.

Places, nice and convenient to many different areas in the McKinney area, the only thing is they allow pets and they were two dogs in the adjacent room that they did not stop barking, I notified the front desk

It was very obviously old and a poor attempt was made to update it. We generally really like Townehouse Suites but this building drags the hotel brand down. The floor in our bathroom was so slanted that the glass shower door kept sliding open on its own creating a watery mess on the bathroom floor. The breakfast was good and so was the coffee. Staff was very nice and attentive.

Parking was easy. Staff was nice. Rooms were clean and I liked the walk in closet.

Staff was absolutely amazing, very friendly, and helpful. Room was very clean. The only issue was being able to hear upstairs occupants, but honestly I’d stay again due to the staff.

Staff was wonderful. Although the beds were comfortable and clean, we had to replace the batteries in the thermostats for the air to cool and there was only a partial roll of TP in the bathroom and depleted roll of paper towels in the kitchen. Oven needed cleaning and kitchen needed a little additional cleaning.

Staff was kind and accommodating. Accessibility room was spacious and carpet free. Would have like to see a shower instead of a tub, and a shower chair provided. Pillows/beds made for a rough night. The bed was very hard and down filled pillows left my neck pinched

The breakfast was fine but not impressive. They served VERY green bananas. Breakfast was adaquate other than that. The actual room was what I needed despite the quality. Facility was FILTHY. Felt like a landlord special with paint and filth on EVERYTHING it could be on, cracked bathtub wall tiles, missing lamp shades, burnt out bulbs, broken dresser drawer held together with command strips, fridge stunk, SUPER cheap thin 1 ply scotts toilet paper, spilled goo all down hallway for a full day. Bedroom AC units STUNK as they had not been serviced in a long time and smelt like mold, mildew, and BO. Hallway carpet, walls and doors very dirty. BLASTING music coming from the housekeeping room midday. Boxes all over front entryway. This cleanliness was not a new issue as this level of filth takes a LONG time to get to.

What breakfast???? At 8:45 there wasn't any breakfast. I was it is gone when it is gone. If I wanted I could Uber something in and use the Hotel's tables. Dirty mattresses on pull out beds in both rooms. Dirty tub in one room. Kitchen utensils were not cleaned (looked like they were wiped off and put away). Paper thin walls. I heard my "neighbor" coughing and sneezing all night long. Requested two rooms with 2 queen-size beds, but got two rooms with King-size beds. Was told I was not promised to get what I reserved because I used a 3rd party to book.

Great staff, very friendly and accommodating. Good breakfast, but basically the same everyday. A little variety would have been nice. The only complaint is that we left the red hanger on our door for towels and never received them. We had to go to the front desk and ask for them. Overall a very nice place to stay.

There was a dead roach & a spider in the bathroom (that I couldn't kill because it went into a hole in the wall in the corner). It needs some painting and/or some serious cleaning in the stove & refrigerator area and the bathroom. We were in room 201.

The room itself was pretty dirty and disheveled. Broken drawers and racks in the closet. It could use a deep cleaning from top to bottom. But we found roaches in the kitchen and behind the headboard the last morning of our stay. We booked it based on the excellent rating and it was surprisingly bad.

The staff at this hotel are SO nice. Every time I had a question or need they went above and beyond being helpful. The room was nice, the kitchen is very handy. My only snag during my stay was our garbage disposal wasn't working and after the first day the sink in the kitchen would fill with water quickly, making washing dishes difficult. I asked about it twice, but I think they were having trouble getting maintenance out. I would stay here again!

We ended up changing rooms three times due to either bedding not available, AC broken and not cooling, or rooms just being dirty. The mattress on sofa bed in the last room we got to had huge dirty stains, the sheets on it had not been changed. Fortunately, we had only one night stay, but it was horrible and gross.

The hallways were musty and looked like it had not been vacuumed. There was food in our fridge, salad and leftovers. Containers of yogurt and something in the freezer. The bathtub was stained and the sofa mattress was so thin it was like sleeping on cardboard. The entrance and lobby were great! Staff was polite and very helpful.

We loved the spinach quiches offered at breakfast, our surprise, we were offered a couple of them at checkout.

The room was extremely small for any King sized room, however was advertised as a suite. The furniture in the room was heavily worn out and the room had a very strong smell of cigarettes and air fresheners. The strong smell was present in all of the building. Because I prepaid with no refund possible I did not check out, however I did leave and stay in the hotel across the highway that was almost new and similar prices.

We have traveled to Dallas area a few times this year due to some medical issues my husband has had. This is the first time we have stayed at Towneplace Suites. I wish we had stayed here every time! The staff was so nice, the room was exactly what we needed. Loved the full-size fridge and coffee pot! Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Location was easy to access. Didn't hurt that there is a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance! Will make this our "go-to" hotel in the area from now on! No complaints!

Amazing all around!! I felt very comfortable being next door to the fire department. Not once did I hear any noise come from them. Staff were amazing! Free breakfast every morning. The hotel is very close to the main highway, food places, and outlet shopping center. Definitely recommend!

We stayed for a week when family was visiting. Room was clean and staff was polite, responsive and helpful. We definitely appreciated that! At night I could smell chicken other patrons were cooking and one night even cigarette smoke. Breakfast area needs to be expanded - it gets too easily congested even with only a couple of other people in there and the 2nd egg option was almost always out. Breakfast room coffee was poor and many days only lukewarm. Room coffee was better than normal though! Our room was too small for the pullout couch to be used, it extended all the way to the bed with no way to walk to the bathroom at night from the right side of the bed.

My room didn't seem clean or put together properly. The front desk employee assured me it was clean and didn't offer to relocate me to another room. She didn' care. The room has not been maintained either. It wasn't a good value for the money.

The staff were very accommodating. The morning breakfast buffet was always well stocked with sufficient variety. We found the property to be clean and located about a block away from major traffic, which made it quiet, yet convenient.

Nice hotel. The only thing we had a problem with. Our room being on the first floor had a few flying termites. I think that's what they were.

Location isn’t great. Noisy and annoying ac in the room. Gym had broken bench, only on pair of weights of the total of only 6 different pounds, and no a/c or power on first day. Breakfast wasn’t out at 6:30 so couldn’t take advantage of included breakfast…all in all disappointing stay.

The room was not clean we arrived about 5:00 i check my sheet to found stain on them, so i call front desk house keeping was already gone. We end up had to change them ourselves, they had stain on the second set as well,blood on curtains i was disappointed that the room was nasty.when checking out next day no housekeeping on the floor at all.

Property was in a good area. The lady that worked the breakfast area was THE BEST i wish she could be cloned and work every position. She seemed to genuinely enjoy her job and love what she does. There were some areas in the room that turned me off like the fact it was a shower tub combo but there was no drain stopper so that you could take a bath which is a thumbs down when you have a baby. I asked everyone on staff and no one could provide me with one I was also told the maintenance person would not be at work for the duration of my stay so I was SOL. What hotel doesn't have maintenance on staff daily that was so odd to me. The sheets also had blood stains i was able to get them exchanged hopefully they throw those out. Also if I would stay again I'd ask for an updated room i noticed one morning when i was walking the hall that my room didnt resemble other rooms.

The night clerk Kira was great excellent service and attitude. We stay here all the time but it needs an update room had bugs and bath room was damp and misty with no ventalation. We had to keep speaking with the front desk about our rate and booking was terrible. The manager Tiffany was nice but the other employees left something to be desired.

I travel for work frequently and this is by far my FAVORITE stay! Incredibly comfortable suites, functional efficiency kitchen, super comfortable beds, no freeway noise, and a delicious breakfast buffet each morning! I would have stayed a few extra days if I could. Love this place and will be back to stay again.

Please please review your rate when booking at this Marriott. I booked at $114.00 per night. Upon checking out after a 7 night stay I was charged anywhere from $114.00 to $149.00. Depending on occupancy. READ THE FINE PRINT. Ask if the rate is for every night. My air conditioner could not keep up and the bathroom was not clean upon arrival.

Stay was great and the staff was friendly and accomodating. The ice machine was broken but the staff made sure there was ice available from the local grocery store. They were always happy to fill my ice bucket for me.

The breakfast was ok, however they way it is laid out, you were on top of everyone to get anything. And I am very glad it was not that hot, because the A/C was VERY loud. C'mon Marriot!! You can do better. p.s. I was going to take pictures, but thought better of it.

Room/building quality was sufficient, but barely. Cheap furniture, hard chairs, and extremely/noticably used kitchen appliances (refrigerator and stove) is exchanged for significant space and reflected in rates. A good value for space. A sensible, no-frills alternative for those who do not mind sacrificing room quality for space. I only wish it was a 3-star quality facility and would have gladly paid more.

We had to park and walk to the front door because there is not a drive up area to check in, it is a no park fire zone. Very disappointed as a Marriot property.

This hotel is in a super convenient location, and it made our days spent moving and cleaning our old place easier.

The hallways/elevators have a strong smell to them. It’s not pleasant. We had a suite and the kitchen cabinets were falling/hanging off the wall. We reported it to the desk. Nice hotel, but could be updated.

I went to Dallas for an event, and the hotel had a power outage. I went to the reception to tell them I needed to get ready, and the staff member was very rude.

It was nice, convenient and I would stay again. Not real clean, odor coming from carpet in hallways. Breakfast typical which was fine, that area was clean, available coffee at all times.

Great concept. But falls short on maintenance and cleanliness. Lots of room and space for our family. But some outlets and lamps did not work. There were smudgy fingerprints all over the refrigerator. Also found hairs in the sheet and a questionable stain on the bathroom door.

Easily one of my favorites in the Marriott family, regardless of location. Staff here are great, lobby area is always inviting and breakfast is top-notch!

I specifically booked a room which had a handicap accessible shower. I recently had knee surgery and this was going to be a great room for me to get around . I checked in was not giving the room I was booked, and the lady working at the desk was rude and told me there was nothing she could do about it.

Not at all like pictures or description. I stood around for 20 mins yelling out and calling for front desk person to check in. Dirty, damaged rooms. No cleaning service at all. Bed was unmade, towels on floors. We didn’t even stay for second night because disgusting, but it was not possible to cancel

Our bathroom (Rm 415) door was tough to close and the toilet sometimes got caught and wouldn't fill to flush. Other than that, this property is clean and amazing. You will feel like you've walked into your own little studio apartment. In fact, I would totally rent this room on a lease if needed!

The hotel is in a good location. The service was good. The room was comfortable and nice. The disappointments was the pillowcase on two pillows had to be changed and my wife had to clean hair out of the bathtub. Overall the stay was good.

I checked into this hotel for a business conference. The front desk was friendly, however the room was not the best. Our floor smelled of pot, and the cabinets in the room were falling off the wall. The desk areas had a broken piece as well. On more than 1 occasions there were full bags of trash in by the elevator(leaking liquids) throughout the stay.

Great overnight stay. Maid forgot to put in paper supplies: toilet paper, tissue, paper towels. Otherwise everything was fine.

Entry not obvious, it looked like a backdoor. Front desk unstaffed for check-in, lLong wait. Room had smoke detector covered with plastic, a building code violation.

We just stayed overnight to attend Octoberfest. It was perfect being only 5 minutes away. Room was spacious and exceptionally clean. Staff were very prompt and accommodating.

The property was quiet and very dog friendly. The staff that we had contact with were very nice and accommodating. They might have been short staffed on housekeeping. We had a doritos on the floor outside our room when we got there Saturday afternoon and it was still there when we left Monday morning.

Was great. We enjoyed the mini kitchen and the full size refrigerator. Staff was friendly, helpful. Taylor was very knowledgeable and customer oriented. She made the stay great. Breakfast was also nice.

Nice Hotel in Northeast Dallas area. Clean room with full kitchen.

This is an extended stay hotel. As such they do have cooktops, microwaves, pots, dishes and utensils in the rooms. The hotel is located off a busy hi-way and is near shopping eating places if you drive.

We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room and hotel in general and the friendliness of the staff considering some reviews weren’t too great. They are remodeling and the place looks great. Tiffany at the front desk was amazing. Such a sweetheart and made our stay so enjoyable. We would definitely go back!!
