My stay at the hotel was okay just wish they had elevator

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean. Rooms as a whole looked run down and outdated but at least they were clean. All in all fairly decent for the price.

This hotel definitely looks better in the photos than in person. There was a smell of weed in the hallway. The linens were clean on the bed, and that is what was most important to me. However, the knob for the shower was broken, and there were lots of other things that needed repair. It was a safe place to stay, and it was quiet.

Very nice hotel for the price. We were not expecting much of a breakfast, but were a bit surprised that it was only coffee. The employee said they had been trying to get the description updated on travel sites. The pool area is very nice as pictured, but we were mildly disappointed that the hot tub jets didn't seem to activate with the wall switch. Overall, though, it was a pleasant stay and we would consider it again next time we are in the area.

The pool was cold. We never had clean towels we had to constantly ask 3 days in a room. They gave us hand towels. There was a tile loose. The beds were so hard. It wasn’t a good experience. The cops were called twice there.

Absolutely almost nothing, i have to give credit tha it was clean not the best place at all, the pool wasn't working and that was one of the reason i went there that i chaged from another hotel to there and it says breakfast inclusive and that also is why i choose there but no, when i went to check in the person upfront said that there is breakfast included but then next day they told me that they dont do breakfast which the pool and breakfast is false advertisement. Therefore then i dhould have get back my money since i had to buy breakfast and couldn't enjoy the swimming pool. That is crap and on top of it im disabled and i had to going up stairs everytime. I will never ever come back to this place and i will make sure no one i know go there. I should get a refund for the no pool and no breakfast. Beside they told me they will not take out the security out of my bank account and they did now i have to wait several days for my money. You guys are too much lird and false advertisemen i will report this to BBB. Nothing at least it was more or less clean and on thurday morning the water in the face basing was coming out black and dirty and i fidnt notice it si if i get an infection in my mouth i will suit you guys it is just too much nonsense. It’s a very old property. Very old. The bed was comfortable and the AC was super cold.

The only Reason we choose this location was for the pool. Pool was down the entire stay. The shower had a bad leak, toilet was so loud to flush and blankets were so rough.

The carpets were so gross. And sticky. Don't walk around without shoes. The elevator what was listed in wheelchair accessible things did not exist. So neither is wheelchair accessible gym. And the first floor restroom was out of order. It was a smoke free hotel but the hallways and stairwells smelled of it. People would prop the side doors open and stand in the doorways to smoke. There was an arbor company residing there so the entire parking lot was full of their big trucks and trailers making it hard to park. We had to park next door and walk over. We were there for a Special Olympics event so I was sadden that they were less than accommodating in accessibility to a lot of our athletes

Staff at front desk was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, not perfectly spotless but no real issues. Good value for the money, would stay here again based on our experience.

Hotel was decent, staff was nice, bed was comfortable, shower had a hole in shower wall, however the water was hot. Not a 5 star, but was good for the price paid. Might stay here again.

The sheets on the bed were stained and dirty. We asked for new sheets they didn’t bring them, so I took the sheets off the bed to discover a horrific scene underneath the sheets. The mattress cover was just full of urine stains. I took pictures took it to the front desk and asked for a full refund for the two nights Staff was not nice. Never smiled didn’t say they were sorry.

Hot tub was great, staff even came and showed us how to turn it on when we had trouble with it.

I had to change rooms because the bathroom light in the first room was broken. The second room was absolutely disgusting. There was food smeared on the walls, suspicious stains on the bedding, items left behind from the person before me so I know they didn’t clean. There was a dead bug on the sink. The fridge was disgusting and had food residue in it and so did the microwave which was also emitting a horrible stench. The whole entire hotel is humid and musty and smells awful. I left within an hour of getting my room, as soon as I was able to book a different hotel. And after all this, I was refused a refund even though “fully refundable” was stated on the booking beforehand. So I paid for two nights for a room I wasn’t even in for an hour. The manager was unhelpful and rude and so was the other person at the front desk.

i noticed in the morning that the window had been pried open and the screen pried out and hanging. I tried to close and lock the window but that didn't happen. One bed had a huge hole in the middle of the mattress. It was cheap but still security should be high on the list of things that have to work. I can deal with the other stuff.

Checked in. When I got to the room. It smelt like urine and also a used protection for intercourse was under the bed. It was sooo gross. I told the front desk but they said I should have said something and that’s it.

Come back 3nd time on same floor he get me room ant the end still smell it, but just went to bed. Check out told older man he didnt say anything.

Person checking us in was VERY nice and helpful, and the location is great - easily accessible, but after that, it was not great. When we first arrived, there was a musty smell in the room and we thought it was because the A/C hadn't been running as much, turned it on and left to go to our event. When we came back that night, it still smelled musty, like mold or mildew. I was a little worried about breathing in mold all night, so I went to check the AC closer and the vent was very dirty, mildewy and gross. We asked if we could switch rooms and was told that we'd have to talk to the manager in the morning, that the person at the desk couldn't do anything for us. We took the washcloths and went back and deep cleaned the vent and took the filters and cleaned them out as well just to be able to sleep. There was a LOT of gross junk on the washcloths and we went to show the manager/person who arrived on the next shift and they just said "oh."

Listing on Orbitz says free breakfast. That is not true. Only coffee.

Which I feel like I should have to pay any days if I didn’t stay there and there was roaches and toilet was dirty that’s why I didn’t stay so shouldn’t be charged for a night if room was dirty that was on them for not making sure bathroom was cleaned.

It's convenient and close to major highways and old downtown McKinney. It's not fancy or smancy, but it's half the price of all the other overpriced ones. For the price, it's great and you get all you really need.

This property is very musty. That smell just never went away. Ceilings were dirty. Just like the rooms need to be aired out. Thank goodness the sheets were clean. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Based on my reservation i thought i was getting 2 queen beds. When i got there i was informed it was 2 full size beds. The amount of dead cockroaches and dead bugs we found in our room was terrifying. I asked for an extra blanket and pillow and the lady made me feel like i didnt need anymore. Id like a partial refund

We felt this hotel was a very good value for the price. It was an older hotel but clean. We stayed 5 nights and only the last night did we have inconsiderate neighbors. Otherwise, it was quiet and the staff were helpful. Very centrally located to all of McKinney.

Everything smelled like cigarette smoke. The hallways, especially the room we had. They have a no smoking policy and it clearly gets abused.

Shelf and clothes rack was hanging off the wall with a single screw. Lights were missing bulbs. Toilet quit working in the middle of the night. No coffee pot in room. Beds were terrible. Staff was rude and did not care about anything. Be prepared to climb stairs, there is NO elevator. I wish that I would have walked around for a minute before checking in, I would have left. I have stayed in some pretty bad places in my travels around the world, but this place was the worst. Will never stay at another econolodge ever again.

Walking in the first thing I could smell was weed. Entering the rooms 1 had an odd smell. Showers had mold and there were only 2 towels per room and we had 3 rooms with 4 guests each. The front desk would only give me 2 more towels total for the 6 people without towels. We somewhat enjoyed the pool but the hot tub was dirty and not hot at all. Also the pool closed promptly at 9pm which in my opinion is a little early especially on a Sat. night. When asking for pool towels for the 12 of us were initially told “I already gave you towels” but after arguing was able to get 6 towels for the 12 of us to share.

Expected a clean room on 2nd night not hair in the sink. And beding was not changed but towel was changed for a fresh on . Only doing 1/2 the room is wrong.

The man that works there all the time is very rude inconsiderate smart mouth and not welcoming at all and I was even using my baby voice!

Room was dirty. Sink was clogged. Jacuzzi was very dirty. But stay was decent. Besides hallways always smelling like weed smoke.

There are no elevators. The front desk did not have my reservation through Expedia. Took an hour to get it resolved. Manager was very rude. Breakfast was terrible. Had to change rooms because some lights and a tv wouldn't work. Tv in the new room had a giant line through the middle of it. Terrible experience. I highly recommend staying somewhere else. Oh, and there were stains on the pillows. Gross.

The room was cramped. We wanted extra blankets and were told we could only have 1 because we only had 1 bed. "Breakfast" was toast and cereal. On the plus side the woman working the counter was very sweet and kind. The shower has good water pressure.

The mattress was very damp and they threw clean sheets that penetrated thru and made them smell like urine. We voiced our concern to the front desk but nothing was done. We asked for a few sheets so that we could sleep on the floor and they only have us 1 sheet of covers. No blankets just the linen with 2 towels. No accountability from the hotel was taken which is understandable considering you pay for the convenience of a 'cheap' room

We kept finding bugs crawling on the floor. Only two towels in room. Asked for another pillow due to back problems, told there is no extra.

This property is nice and quiet that's the best thing that they have also they have an indoor pool you can swim when you want ,the flip side to that the roaches is horrible and the breakfast room I see some every morning also I've seen one in my room. It smells like mildew and these rooms as well.

My TV remote didnt work so the guy from the front desk was in my room for more than an hour trying to fix it which made me late to an event i was supposed to host.

The building is dated for sure and there were some questionable things like people coming and going all night outside my window but the bed was comfy and the linens were clean. I did notice some mold on the wall when I moved one of the lamps though. The pool was nice, it was indoors which made my evening swim awesome, the hot tub not so much. It did not look super clean, so I kind of avoided that. All in all for the price and the fact I travelled alone.. it was good nice place to rest my head.

When I arrived at the hotel there were several people on the side of the building with multiple 6-packs of beer drinking and listening to loud music. I explained to the manager about the people drinking on the side of the building and asked him to have them leave or go into their rooms he did not address did not ask them to leave while I was there. He showed me two rooms both had mechanical problems and smelled bad. I explained to the manager that I did not feel safe, the rooms were not what I expected, and I would not check in or stay at this hotel.

There was little black beatle bugs everywhere. The beds were very uncomfortable. There was also some baseboards coming off the wall.

The beds were comfortable! The property is dated badly and is in dire need of a renovation and the card entry key barely worked after inserting it in several times.

When crawling into bed, I found a previous guest's FAKE NAIL, as well as a bunch of sand/dirt in the covers. After calling the front desk, we were provided with a new fitted sheet, which did not fit our bed and was covered in holes and skid marks. There was also URINE all over the mattress as I tried to change the sheet. We decided that it was late and it was worth just sleeping on top of the comforter. However, this was when our very considerate neighbor decided that 11:30 pm was a great time to start playing his guitar and singing. It was at this point that we decided to leave and stay at the Holiday Inn down the road. DO NOT stay here - pay the extra $30 and stay anywhere else in the area.

Nice facility, however seems to be a problem with toilet and tub drainage. Additionally, there was a spider and cricket in our room at two different points during stay.

Clean, basic, good value, convenient location

Room was very clean and comfortable. Convenient to to downtown McKinney and nearby shopping and restaurants. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Only issue was a sink that didn't drain well. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Mckinney.

The ad for the hotel said there was a workout room and there was not one. The breakfast consisted of muffins, cereals, toast, and instant oatmeal. The has two gallons of milk in the mini fridge, one of which had gone bad. There was no protein included in the breakfast. I ended up walking to the whataburger not far from the hotel (10 min). The pool/jacuzzi had limited hours of use. Towels were scratchy and of poor quality. This is definitely a no frills hotel.

For what we paid for the room, I felt it was a great value. The place was very clean and smelled fresh. Only drawback was that I wish breakfast was open a little longer than 2 1/2 hours.

There was no facial tissue in the dispenser. The deadbolt lock would not work. Nearby guests were quite noisey late a night. Full to overflowing ashtray outside outside entry door was very smelly and unavoidable. Bathtub needs to be refinished or replaced - discolored and chipped. I couldn't figure out the TV remote control. At least the bed was comfortable. Ran out of coffee in the morning.
