Not sure how this property has high ratings. It's pretty rundown, in a bad area.

We just needed a clean place to stay for the night to break up a long trip. Pleasantly surprised by this place. Bedroom was recently remodeled. Floor is vinyl instead of carpet which I appreciated. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast included was a nice surprise. Clean breakfast area with lots of options. Curtains are truly black out which helped with sleep. Quiet. Covered parking so car stayed cool. Washer and dryer coin operated if needed. Easy on off freeway. Would stay here again. Office staff friendly. Shower was nice. Good pressure.

We had a great one night stay passing through the area. Staff was friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. Very no frills but it was quiet and clean. And as a bonus there was a mini fridge which was nice to keep our drinks cold.

I have stayed at Rodeway for business for years. It's always clean and otherwise a solid, basic choice. I like the owners/operators. It's probably a bit too basic for my family, however: rooms are very dark if you want to maintain any sort of privacy by keeping the heavy drapery closed - there is no sheer layer to let in outside light. Also, breakfast seems to have become extremely minimal - I would call it more of an "early snack." No juices and not many choices, but maybe everything was just gone by the time I arrived later in the morning. I'm not big on breakfast so I walked in, walked out, and just got coffee and a pastry down the street. Still on my list but I may start to look for more substantial alternatives.

Definitely one of the better hotels you will get in that price range. Not fancy, but way better than the lower end Motel 6, etc..

Property was clean but room floors and bathroom were not. Other people's hair in clumps everywhere and floors obviously never get mopped. We never took our shoes off. My wife wanted to leave but it was late late so I convinced her to stay. The breakfast wasn't terrible but hard to sleep in a dirty room. And really sketchy area

Well…. This place is pretty darn good. I always stay here when I’m Medford. Affordable, very clean, modern and safe. They really take pride in the appearance of their hotel. I’ve stayed over 10 times here and everything considered It’s my go to. Good tv channels, modern rooms, comfortable bed, coffee maker, fridge and great staff. The breakfast is a nice bonus. Nothing fancy but a good start to the day with hard boiled eggs, toast, waffle, cereal and bananas. I will stay here a fan and again without question.

Nice staff and it was convenient. Another hotel that I pull into late, dog tired, and wake up early and leave.

The room was very Clean. The Bed was Comfortable. The area was not overly noisy. The breakfast was adequate, but does not feature any meat products. We would definitely stay there again.

I like how my parking space is right in front of my room

Single level rooms. Head first parking in your exclusive stall. Breakfast contained all the elements of a balanced breakfast but no variety. Amenities included TV, fridge, coffee pot, iron and ironing board, AC.

Location, comfortable. My children loved that they had a little basketball hoop and loved playing with the children who lived there.

It was a very quiet and are no other floors just one level of rooms 5 stars I couldn’t find any thing wrong

Their breakfast menu lacked a little. The only fruit was bananas. You could have waffles or oatmeal hot. They had two kinds of cereal, one juice selection, and a bite sized muffin. The room was nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Comfy bed, deep tub, the floors were clean didnt feel sticky or look gross like most "value" rooms. I felt safe considering the area around is pretty sketch. Had waffles and milk for breakfast. Worth the money.

Only opened at 7:00, it was MINIMAL.

The cleaning staff threw away my bathroom essential items (e.g., cosmetics, toothbrush and toothpaste, comb, etc). Management just said they were sorry it happened and didn't do anything to mitigate the issue. However, I appreciate that they have shuttle service to the airport 24x7.

Room was clean, shower was hot. Improving the mattress would’ve been appreciated. Truck stop nearby, restaurants, location is right at freeway off-ramp

Great stay. I’ve stayed here several times as I come to the area a lot. Nothing fancy but it’s safe clean and very comfortable beds. The breakfast is basic but good start to the day. The owner management does a great job to keep property clean. I like that it’s central to everything.I recommend.., it’s a perfect 3 star hotel.

When you come into your room you had to slide one of your room keys into a slot on the wall by the door to get some of the lights and plugs to work. Very very annoying. When we decided to go to bed (we are late birds) at 1am I could not for the life of me figure out to turn off a light above the headboard of the bed. Ended up putting on my sweat pants and trying to find the on duty fellow at the front desk. Once I found him in a back room I had to have him come to our room to show me where to turn off the light above the bed. It was a very small black toggle switch located on a 2 USB charger thing mounted in the head board. Also had some things plugged in this wall outlet by the bed that if I removed the room key from the slot by the door it turned off electrical to it. The fellow at the front desk said this is some new idea they use in European areas to conserve electricity and that if you leave the room to check out and take both room keys with you then certain lights or lamps would go off automatically. VERY VERY Annoying to say the least. Seasoned veteran with junkie idea so if I had to I would be willing to stay at another motel that has this feature built into the electrical of the room.

Sagging bed and awful lumpy pillows

Place is centrally located and surrounded by places to eat and shop Adequate breakfast between 7AM to 9AM. Price was very good. Bathroom had safety bars, soaps and shampoo Breakfast was limited, wished for some hot eggs, possibly sausage or bacon.

Reasonable. Overall impression is Medford is a mean city. This establishment felt safe and friendly compared to our work/travel around Medford. Relatively clean. Flowers were VERY appreciated. Staff/management were very attentive and kind. (Repaired cable service.)Shower was tall enough for me!? First, been here before, and will return. Parking was tight; could not use our space a couple days. Floors need mopping. Very dirty. (Blackened my indoor slides.) Hole under door big enough for a mouse. One USB port was inoperable. Breakfast was a disappointment from last stay. A/C needs a setting where fan stays on if A/C turns off. A/C turning on and off all night kept us awake.Also needs a cover over setting lights. Black-out curtains could be better. Need complete darkness to sleep. Lounge chair was comfy but seemed like a thrift store item; a little broken and worn.

Standard breakfast. There was a leak in bathroom when we got there. I think it was toilet. Water all over floor. We were switched to room next door. TV WAS DIFFICULT TO MANUVER, SO MGR HAD TO COME & SHOW US HOW TO WORK IT.

Breakfast was basic but good.

Clean room. Great customer service. Quiet location. Room a little shabby. Breakfast was waffle, hard-boiled egg, banana, and milk. They also seved coffee, juice, cereal, flavored oatmeals, bread, butter , and PB&J. Are not allowed to take food out of the breakfast area, though.

A clean, basic, no frills motel with nice staff, easy parking near your room, a table/chair for writing, Dish TV, choice of smoking or non-smoking rooms. Not a luxury experience, but perfect for a good night’s sleep. No breakfast, but has ice machine.

Most things were good but the noise of the fan and air conditioner kept us awake - therefore not the best nights sleep

The room is clean. It's quiet here, so far. The lady who checked me in was very nice. She gladly gave me a fork when my take-out order didn't come with flatware. The property is dated. The plugs to charge my phone don't work. Very frustrating since I didn't bring an adapter.

Comfy bed for a quick overnight stay. A/C is loud and didn’t work very well, but it cooled the room eventually. Bathroom was mostly clean, but no where I'd want to stay more than 1 night.

An overnight stay awaiting a flight. Only six places in town with shuttle service and this was one of them. Nice gentleman owner/operator who obviously cares about his business. Well-cared for older, but updated place. Not the best part of town but ver quiet at night.

Older hotel that has been maintained. Is is the best I’ve ever stayed at, no. With that being said, the price is right. Great value. Quiet. Clean. Value. Biggest complaint, area around hotel at night is crawling with drug addicts and unhoused individuals. Never bothered hotel though.

Nice lodging facility. The staff were friendly and professional. I love the style of motel/hotel where I park right in front of my room. Breakfast bar was a bit limited(no scrambled eggs or meat side) but that is not a deal breaker.

The desk clerk was polite, friendly, and professional. Also, they have a 24 hour check-in policy, which makes it convenient for travelers. I would stay again, if traveling through Medford again.

Inn is older but clean and comfortable. Full size bathroom products. Breakfast provided, waffles, cereal, toast, juices Laundry area and vending machine. Far enough from the road that traffic noise was not an issue

This is a great small motel in south Medford. I always try to stay here as I know my vehicle will be secure in the parking lot. As a woman traveler I always feel safe here. Highly recommend.

Third time staying here in three years. Keep coming back because in this price range, you just can't match or beat the cleanliness/quiet/non-scetchiness of this place. The free breakfast is just the cherry on the top.

We needed a quick night stay and it was perfect for it. The room was clean and quiet. For a convenient quick stay it was just right.

I was driving from LA to Portland and stopped in Medford. This motel was in the top 5 of the "stop while driving" motels I have experienced in my 67 years. I would even plan to stop in Medford in future drives in order to stay here. Thanks!

I really appreciate the efforts being made to update this property. The hanging flower baskets at the parking spaces are lovely and bring some color to the area. The beds are wonderfully fluffy and comfortable, the comforter thick and luxurious, especially after a day traveling. The room was larger than many, and as there were four of us in the room, we had plenty of space to move around. Everything was clean, with the exception of the last tenant's used bar of soap that was left behind by housekeeping. Breakfast is pretty basic...cereal, instant oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, waffles. Even so, I'd stay here again without hesitation.

Drove through the area for a wedding and noticed the rating with the low prices. The entire property was well kept and quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at this inn. The room was comfy and spacious. Parking was right outside our door, which was really nice. The breakfast options were just ok, they had quick bite items, but the waffle iron was a plus. Check-in and out were quick and easy. Lots of places close by to grab dinner, and easy freeway access without the freeway noise. Would def stay here again if we need a stopping point between home and our destination.

Sweet little traditional courtyard motor inn where you can back in right up to your door. Clean, tidy, friendly, and there's even a basketball hoop! Very high rating for Great value.

I liked the convenience of assigned parking in front of the room. The motel is very clean and quiet. I was not happy with the A/C system as it was loud and not very effective. Some of the furniture needs updating.

While Rodeway Inn Medford South I-5 is an older motel, it is well kept up and I had a good nights sleep. Walking distance to Winco shopping center and other businesses/eateries if choosing not to drive in town

We were very disappointed in the breakfast. The only hot food was waffles but everything else was cold. Not ver appetizing.

We walk into our room and it has clearly not been cleaned… Go and let the front desk know they give us another key that room has also not been cleaned. Third room finally LOOKS cleaned… Until we get to the bathroom and the towels are haphazardly folded which makes me feel like they were not cleaned either. No apology from the staff no nothing. The pillows were the absolute worst pillows I’ve ever used. The bed was comfortable. No password for the wifi which seems sketch. Walls are super thin. Overall just not a very good stay

Organization was easy to work with and thorough. The rafting guide was super friendly, had good stories, was very informative, and guided us through the rapids with infectious confidence.

They’re the best I’ve stayed there before but this time in a situation I had to run to them. They had a place for me. They knew I was accessible room very kind very clean. Rooms microwaves are immaculate. It’s the little thing best accessible I have ever used. Thank you.

One best kept motels we have stated in A+

The fridge was very noisy. There was only a partial roll of toilet paper. The microwave burned my microwaveable heating pad: turned out the ring that holds the revolving glass tray wasn’t in place so it didn’t revolve and heated very unevenly so one spot burned. I had to throw it out!

Was a clean room. The bed was a little soft for me. The room was mostly quiet, except could hear the TV from the adjacent room. The continental breakfast included waffles. It was a good value stay for 1 night. Not sure I'd stay there again though do to softness of the mattress.

Very clean but questionable treatment by management. I was penalized for using a third party. I had to agree to $250 charge to my credit card for a deposit for a $70 one night stay. Said I could not use Expedia, pay a slightly higher rate and not have to pay the deposit. Questionable policy

This Motel is perfect for a long trip stay over! The room was clean. The bed was very comfortable and cosy. Convenient location and easy to get to from the Highway. The "continental breakfast" was a little shy on choices but wasn't a complete lose. Very friendly folks running the motel. We would stay here again next time we are passing through Medford!

Overall pretty solid stay. Inexpensive so you can't really complain. Limited breakfast options and strangers right off site that didn't have a home.

Liked the breakfast

This place is clean. My room (112) was having a minor repair done on the floor. Not a big deal but some might be bothered. The mattress was compressed along the edge from lots of people sleeping on it, forming a trough. And, as I discovered, the walls are thin. The folks next to me were laughing, at a normal volume, but it was quite noisy through the walls.

They have the softest sheets. Could hear people in the nextroom some but not terrible. Clean and comfortable. Perfect one night stop on road trip. Good water pressure.

Walkable restaurants

Very good value and very clean. We were surprised how nice our room was. The walls are not soundproof but our neighbours were respectful. Any breakfast with waffles is good. It was much better than expected. Great food trucks and chicken bbq across the street! We will be back.

Bathroom sink was dirty with unknown stuff adhering to the surface. Dust fluffs on the floors. Overall ok though.

The current owners have done a good job of making an old motel into a very nice place to stay. The rooms are small but comfortable with good beds. The fridge was cold. A nice TV. I would have liked a second luggage rack since we had 2 carryons but i suspect one is adequate for most guests. The hostess was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was typical and fine - it’s nice not to have to find a restaurant before heading out on the next leg of our trip.

We really enjoyed staying at Roadway Inn. We arrived past midnight yet the check-in was immediate. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. We heard no neighbors, no outside noises. They provided a hair dryer, an iron and a fridge. Each room has an assigned parking spot and there are flowers around the whole property. Breakfast was good, they offered fruit, yogurt, eggs, cereal and more options. Overall we really liked that hotel.

Property had a nice living room. Parking in front of each unit, very handy. Breakfast was kind of lacking and boring but great to have anyways included with room. Room had lots of space. The shampoo dispensing unit was not very secure and easily fell off from the hanger and could hurt you. The shower pressure was also very strong but u cannot adjust it if it was too strong for you.

Good value for this level of motel. The room was clean with laminate floor (no carpet). Was relatively quiet, but could still hear some noise for outside and adjacent rooms - although single story, so nobody above. Breakfast was basic - juice, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, waffle maker, toast, aussie bites.

Very pleased with this Rodeway Inn, especially getting to park my car right in front of unit. Clean, quiet and new flooring in spacious room made this a good choice.

This was our second stay here, and this hotel continues to be a great value. It is clean, comfortable, safe, and with a great free breakfast. Along with the price, this combo is hard to beat in the area. This is my family's go-to place when passing through Oregon.

It was awful! The guy at the front desk was rude, the refrigerator had rust and wouldn't close so the ground outside it was wet. We also need a working fridge for our daughters medication. When we went to the office to see about switching rooms the guy gave us a key to the room nectar door and when my teenage son and husband walked in a lady was topless in there. We went to the office and demanded a refund and left.

The microwave was clean the bathroom was immaculate noticed right away
