The owners should employ actual cleaning and maintenance staff to do the job. Trying to save money to cut corners really shows. There is hair around the toliet and bathroom sink faucet. The carpet needs to be shampooed. The bathroom sink was clogged, where water was pooling, which is unsanitary. And the elevator has been out of service for at least 6 weeks. Mold on the shower curtain, just needs to be replaced.

Multiple gashes in the wall, beds were very cheap, bounced on springs, missing fire alarm, couple lamps didn't work, nightstand was broken, very dated unit.

I called when we made the booking to make sure I could do a late check in and was told yes however when we got there the guy at the desk would not check us in left us and three kids after paying and checking with no place to stay, horrible service!

Justca note to consider, if you have no expectations this will work for you. The owners are CHEAP!!! they need to actually hire housekeeping staff and maintenance 🙄 to do the repairs. You'll see 👀 once you checkin. Going with another chain hotel you get better services.

The room is nothing like listed in the picture(s). The walls and floors are dirty. There are holes in the wall under the cabinet, the microwave and cabinets are filthy. I went to the store to buy cleaning products in order to scrub the bathroom before using it. Electrical outlet was exposed; the iron didn't work and messed up my clothing. The only thing that worked well was the AC. Even the additional lock on the door was missing. I have pictures and will add if able to

Elevator doesn't work at all. Have to walk up stairs. $100 u expected fee upfront

First of all they waited until i git there to tell me that i had to pay $100 security deposit. The room was raggedy and it had roaches in it. The bathroom sink was broken. The towels had hair on it and the floor had burn marks everywhere. The bed barely had cover on it also. Also, the elevator stopped working.

This place was extremely poorly maintained. The room was outdated, had broken furniture and a TV that only showed everything in blue with no way to adjust the color balance. The elevator was broken, so I insisted on a ground floor room. The desk clerk just stared at me, so I stared back until he complied. The kitchenette was pretty useless, but a full sized fridge was the best thing about the entire room. Most of the furniture was broken or only barely surviving. The bed was lumpy, noisy and had a thin mattress. Even the pictures on the wall were broken, and one even had water damage. So werd. There was nothing exciting about the local area, and wasn't even in the best part of town, but we didn't have any problems outside of the hotel.

Bad area of town. Staff was pleasant. Elevators were out of order. Room was quite unpleasant. We didn't stay.

Only cockroaches are the problem here. Everything else is completely fine, the stuff are great.

First experience ever dogs were everywhere the whole place smelled like still dogs and cigarette smoke

The first room that we were issued smelled of urine. Pulling back the comforter on the bed, there was a dark stain visible on the sheets. They clearly were not clean. Then, there was a dark spray of liquid noted on the wall & onto the ceiling, in which I’m praying was spaghetti sauce… but looked grossly a lot like blood. I had immediately called the front desk to request a different, cleaner room. The front desk clerk gave us a new room. Surely, the first room was a fluke thing & the next room would be better… WRONG! The second room was just as unacceptable- with another large urine stain on the “clean” sheets. Staying here was not an option for myself and/or my young daughter. I had told the front desk clerk that we wanted to leave because of how unsanitary & disgusting things were and he told me that there was no way to get a full refund & that I would be charged for the night even though I didn’t stay there, due to my awful experience.

The room was absolutely filthy. All the bedding smelled of smoke. The towels had black streaks on them. And, I killed three cockroaches. It was disgusting.

An older hotel. The first room I got had only one working light, the one in the ceiling. When I checked the wall light to see if it was unplugged, I noticed it was cut. There was no part to plug in. When we got relocated to another room, the wall light switch was broken and one of the drawers in the bureau was broken. We sucked it up and stayed one night out of the three reserved since it was already so late.

This place looks clean online but is horrible inside. Had to swap rooms after a 6 hour drive. First room had broken furniture, broken cabinet doors falling off, literally hanging from kitchen cabinet. Walls are filthy thru out this place. 2nd attempt at a room and it smelled like something dead. 3 rd room is not much better.

sooo boom i get there they give me my room room 110 to be exact i went out that night came back w some lamb chops and fries not even 15 after i went outside and came back in turned on the lights 1000 roaches was scattering on the floor and my food I immediately asked if room can be changed they said had to wait till the morning boom morning came they changed my room no problem but the gag was it was the room across from me as if they knew which rooms had roaches and didn’t didn’t have any roach problem with the next room but yeah they need to add breakfast you can buy or some kept having to remind them about my towels but overall they cool people just have to get on their ass they get right

This was by far the worst stay. We moved to two rooms. The first room the air conditioning did not cool the room so we slept hot. Then there were dead roaches. The second room we had alive roaches running around the kitchen area, bathroom, and in the bed. There was no house keeping, or anything else to the terrible stay we had. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK AT THE HOTEL ITS CATFISH

Very ghetto. If you’re a female traveling alone, avoid this hotel. Most of the staff are professional, but there is one housekeeping employee, whos a bit younger (late 20s maybe) that creepily watches the girls.

The place reeked of weed. The frontvdesk staff were friendly,watched a drug deal go down in the parking lot. We love Memphis and hate to see it fall down to this level.

As I was leaving, I dropped my wallet. The staff called me and told me to come back and get it. Nothing was missing. The staff here are very respectful, and always greet me with a warm welcome. I love this hotel.

Ive been here for a month now. The only complaints are my card never working on the drink and machine and the key cards having to be recoded twice a week. All in all those are pretty minor things. Front desk open till midnight is a big plus too. I would give it 4.5. The pricce pushes it to 5 if i had to pick. No rral complaints. Ive stayed in 1000% worse

The bullet proof glass should have said enough. Rough area, no amenities, no ice, sticky floors in room, dirty counters. I felt like things were crawling on me as soon as I sat on the bed. The bed was terrible, very uncomfortable and the head came off of the ground when I sat at the foot. The pillows and the mattress needed to be replaced 5 years ago. The remote didn't work, but the staff did bring me one that worked.

There were stains all over the bedding, one of the cabinets were broken and just left, there were stains all over the bathroom door frame and there was some awful language written on the bathroom mirror that showed up when it was fogged over.

We arrived at 10:00 pm the room smelled horrible, it was filthy. This bathroom sink didn’t empty and when it drained it drained on the floor the toilet seat was broken. The whole right side was loose so when you sat down, you almost fell off the toilet. The queen size bed was more like a full-size bed, and it had intentions in both sides where you sunk into the bed

I didn't like the fact that I called and was told they had a smoking room. I paid for a smoking room online however when I got there I was told all rooms were non smoking. Also you have to pay a deposit to get cookware. They give you only 1 plate, 1 mug, 1 skillet, and 1 spatula for a 50$ deposit.

Rooms have a small kitchen area with sink and stove, convenient for longer stays. The room did show its age, with older carpet and trim peeling away by the floor in spots, but was still clean and didnt smell, and there werent any stains on anything. Bed was decently comfortable. I would stay here again.

I would like to cook on the two cooking eyes that are not working. Perhaps i can get a discount, or at least get them to work.

I made my issues clear to property management. This was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had in my life. I tried canceling, but it was of course denied. Tried having Expedia cancel, hotel denied even them. Stained rooms, stained toilets, rusted sinks… bed was dented. Curtains were broken and filthy. Worst… microwave was rusty…no refund is a joke.

We were so blessed to stay here while our house was getting ready! Love the staff! Nice laundry room. Dogs stay free! Having the kitchen was really great. It’s not luxury but it is comfortable and allows our dogs so we are very thankful. God is good all the time!!

Hotel needs a deep cleaning and updates. Set of double doors to enter lobby made it difficult to get luggage in-no automatic doors. Shower did not drain. Bathroom fan covered in dust. Staff not friendly. Only clean once per week. Clean towels once per week, and cannot get more if you ask. Had kitchenette, but had to pay a deposit if you wanted dishwater. Location was fine, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

The carpet smells like urine. One of the kitchen sockets for doesn't. The light over the stove blinks and the price never goes down

The hallway stinks really bad and the elevator plus carpet is very dirty.

It was better than expected. Only disappointment was the stove not working but they did have an accommodations for that.

Roaches in room terrible housekeeping

I had to clean the room once i got checked in because I could tell there hadn't been any real cleaning done. The towels were dingy, but it was expected. The sheets were stained and i got better ones and i saw 2 roaches while staying there.
