Great location and spacious rooms! We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is ideally located, very close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Overall, it offers good value for money. Just a small suggestion for improvement: The breakfast could be a bit better with more variety.

It’s not a modern hotel but more of a homely one. You can appreciate it amongst the overpriced poorly made boxes other hotels have for rooms. (You can’t hear your neighbors outside the room)

The staff were really pleasant! Complimentary coffee and water in the lobby 24/7 is really nice, and a light breakfast included is a great touch.

Location was perfect for walking South Beach. It had a lovely Italian street side restaurant. Nice to sit there on an evening when we got home. The hotel provides free beach chairs and beach towels. We had the room for 4 and the pull out bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was basic tea and pastries, but was enough until we went out.

Had a three nightstay there. It was my first time on miami beach and chososing this hotel was good decision. It is close to beach they provide free towels and chairs and they provide free water which is very good as water is really expensive there take a hottle refill it and enjoy. The room was clean and big. Overall, satisfied with the stay

Overall, the accommodations served its purpose for myself and 2 other friends...a place to primarily sleep and shower during our quick getaway from NYC. The room had enough space and comfortable. Only complaint was that one towel had some hair rolled up into the washcloth and a lot of noticable stains on one of the bath towels. Outside of that, the stay was good. We appreciated the continental breakfast (which should be extended from 8-9:30a to 7a-9:30a).

Staff were amazing - particularly the gentleman from Cuba working at reception for most of our stay (I'm so sorry I can't remember his name!) but he was absolutely wonderful and so helpful throughout our entire stay.

Central Location and clean rooms. They also provide towels and lounge chairs for beach which was pleasant surprise. They charge $42 for Valet parking but public garage is just a block north that we used.

We had the best time in the hotel. Location was perfect, they provide chairs to the beach, possibility for parking since everywhere was expensive. The receptionists were lovely. It needs to be a little bit more cleaner but it was not bad. The breakfast was fresh and very good. I think I will visit again.

The rooms could be updated for today needs, and especially in the bathroom with its old-fashioned fixed shower head. Breakfast is average with all mornings queues to wait for waffles and a quite limited choice, but was included in the price of the rooms, which is quite unusual here. We enjoyed our holidays !

My stay was nice. The room was nice as it had the kitchenette I needed (second reason for selecting it). Staff were great. Hotel was clean and in a good location (first reason for selecting it). The continental breakfast was good for a vegan since you had almond milk and fruit. The beach chairs and towels were nice as it was the third reason I selected it.

First off I stayed at this hotel 4 years ago ( water issue at that time ) and after 4 years i assume the place got better but no it got WORST!! A roach was crawling above my daughter head!! When I told front desk about the issue Pedro stated “ it’s common with it being around all the restaurants and the same as we having rats in New York” different really apologize then stated “ if you came 4 years ago and didn’t like I wouldn’t have came again” trust this will be my LAST EVER TIME !! Then at 830pm I was looking to stay at another hotel but of course all was booked on a Friday night! I was told “ if I don’t leave tonight I will not be getting a refund” I told them well I have two kids and leaving right now with no where to go isn’t ideal. So he stated I wouldn’t get a refund!! The manage here sucks just as it did 4 years ago! This place is legit disgusting! And the staff isn’t caring at all!! They need to make note “ WE HAVE ROACHES BECAUSE OF THE RESTAURANTS” so people know not to come! Very uncomfortable stay wish I can submit the video of the roach in my room

Room was Clean. best part is near everything, you have food, beach, party at night walking distance, the only reason I gave four stars is because the rooms needs a little maintenance other than that we have great experience staying here :)

The continental breakfast being average probably didn’t help either—it’s one of those things where you hope for at least a little something to make your stay feel special. What kind of place was it? A boutique hotel or more of a chain?

The only thing We have to say is about the loud music night lately, after 11pm. The breakfast is good. Its located near to south beach. There is towels and 2 chairs to use in the beach. Water, hot tea and coffee all the day in the lobby. The shower is good, but the little bed (like sofa) is not good like the big one.

The level of noise in the hotel was higher then any tolerable noise for sleeping or relaxing at night.

It offer most of the things I needed for my first trip.

The walls are paper thin, you could hear everything through the door, house keeping came in the next morning after our arrival without noticing us about it first. We felt like we did not have any privacy. The front desk staff except for 2 staff members were not very nice or welcoming. I would say look around for other places. We found another hotel for the next night as we decided to stay in town and found a much better hotel with a pool for a lower price.

It was a pleasant surprise! All the team was kind and very receptive! The complimentary breakfast was delicious.

This place was just as expected. Walkable distance to the beach, lots of restaurants nearby, room was decent size with a convenient dinner table, a small utility area. The shower water pressure was a bit low,, hot water took a while to come, also we took a while to figure out the way toilet flush worked. Breakfast options were minimal. Staff were very courteous n helpful. We were allowed to keep our luggage there till the evening after we checked out. Overall a good bang for the buck place. Certainly recommended!!

I enjoyed my stay at Ocean Reef Suites. The only thing that I have to say is that the constant flickering lights scared my son.

Everything was nice in terms of cleanliness, staff, location, and spacious suite except very cramped bathroom. During our stay I was thinking it would be nice to increase the bathroom size by taking 20 sq feet from the kichenette just to improve the guest experince!

Room 418 was NOT a good room the water heater sits above the room and its full of calcium and making LOUD NOISES.

Had mixed experience staying here. There’s no elevator, so carrying large suitcases up the stairs was extremely hard and gave a skeptic first impression. The room was also much smaller than the photos showed and didn’t even have a coffee maker, despite showcasing a “full kitchen” in the ad. However, the occasion more than made up for these little things. The staff were friendly and very supportive. I had an injury incident, and even in the middle of the night, the manager came up, gave us all the help that he could, and out of courtesy, even called us a limo to the airport. So, you get what you pay for and some more because of the staff!

I was not able to take a warmth shower. I tried in the morning and at night. The water always came cold.

It’s a great place to stay as the location is close to the beach. The room isn’t very big. Breakfast was disappointing as it was cereal, bread, or crossants and bagel, no eggs. Coffee had no taste. You had to pick up your food in trays in lobby and take them to outside tables if you could find an empty one or bring it back to your room. The tables weren’t clean. The front desk workers were excellent. They are very helpful and kind.

This property is perfectly located in South Beach and close to everything you need to see and do in Miami. The staff were friendly and the rooms were spacious.

Staff was not very helpful. Their website says valet parking. That’s a complete joke. You need to drive around until a parking spot opens up near the hotel. Once you park and go inside they will “find” your vehicle and park it. I have an app that tells status of my vehicle and at 10:00pm said the vehicle was still unlocked “very safe”. I remote locked the vehicle. Handicap accessible is a joke. The ramp isn’t obvious because it’s inside the seating area for the restaurant. I asked about where the handicap ramp was and the lady at the desk couldn’t tell me. Rooms aren’t super clean and the attempt at remodeling them fell way short. Highly recommended mot to stay at this hotel ever.

I travel with my 2 young daughters, and we enjoyed our stay. Do not rent a car because everything is walking distance, the beach is 1 block from hotel , and all the restaurants are all on the same block . The hotel was perfect , clean , and the receptionist was kind to us , and the entire environment and experience was perfect. I highly recommend .

I just wanted to share that because I had read a lot of reviews on this hotel prior to booking with them and no one mentioned it. I will say that I did check the room when we arrived as I’m paranoid of any hotel we stay at so I check for bugs/bedbugs/etc. and I didn’t see anything! There was a gap under the door that lead to the hallway and I honestly feel like that’s where it came from, and where I found it wasn’t too far from the door.

In general, we were pretty happy with the stay. Pedro was very helpful and informative and gave us an upgrade to a bigger suite. Very convenient location with easy access to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and entertainments. The included breakfast was decent. Some minor issues were the loud air conditioner and the sofa bed. I slept in the sofa bed the last night of our stay and I felt itchy immediately. The itch kept me awake until I couldn't bear it and moved over the blanket and covered myself with the cover sheet only. The itch was gone after that. I didn't have previous experience with it but I couldn't help suspecting of bedbugs. Funny thing is that my husband slept in the sofa bed for three nights and reportedly didn't feel any itch, so I don't have an explanation for it. Other than these, it was a pleasant stay.

Good breakfast, nice rooms. We had the chance to be upgraded. Perfect situation,3 minutes walk from the beach/ Ocean drive. Beach chairs included in the price. I recommand and would definitively come back here :)

I stayed there with my son, for 4 nights. It was exactly what we were looking for. We had a comfortable queen bed and sofa bed. We had a nice little kitchen. Bathroom was not big but OK. We had a chair dining table. Breakfasts are basic, but good with coffee, juice, waffles, bagels, toasts, viennoiserie, cereals, yogurts, apples and bananas. You could eat either outside of the hotel or bring back the breakfast in your room. It's also good that they have an agreement for a free chair at the beach with Boucher Brothers, along with free beach towels.

Nice place

Breakfast could have been better. It was the same six or seven items every single day. No facial tissue provided in the room. I think the "resort fees" are pretty exorbitant considering for what is provided. Staff was courteous. Room was clean. No dish towel or dish rack was provided for the dishes, just a sponge and detergent.

Great location and great find. Had a studio room which was quite basic but extremely clean. The bed was comfortable with big squishy pillows which I love. Restaurant downstairs was great and I highly recommend the seafood linguini! You get towels for the beach over the road and everything is close by. Would stay there again.

El depto es súper funcional, iluminado y cómodo. La cocina es fundamental para no comer siempre afuera. El desayuno es suficiente y te permiten llevarlo a la habitación, lo que resulta muy bueno. Amazing stay and a very quiet room!

As a solo traveler i felt safe. It was quiet. Pleasant. Only issue i had was trying not to spill my coffee using the available trays, carrying my breakfast back to my room...up the stairs

Great property near miami beach. All dining options near by. Public garage available for parking in the next street. People working are great and very helpful. Only thing i would suggest they should tell the kitchen option they have specially for guest with kid less then 2 year old would help with their food choice or to warm milk and all. Just as described. Conveniently located between lots of dining and the beach.

Hot water takes a very long time to warm up; doesn’t last long. Easy assess to shopping, restaurants; bars; beach and the port. Check in/Out was very smooth. Rooms are super nice and very LARGE. Would stay again!

Was a great experience, love the easy access to the stores, beach and restaurant. No car needed for the area. Excellent service feom the staff and breakfast!

A waffle maker does not mean full breakfast. Takes 20 minutes to get hot water in shower. Air ventilation in rooms is nonexistent. Kitchen in suite had no cookware, wash utensils, stove, or anything else to use the kitchen.

The property was nice, the matress on the bed was not big enough for the bed and the bed was so loud even turning on the bed it made a sound, this the first hotel i have went to and the bed they claim is queen size didn't have a big enough matress and was just loud, no comfort.

Staff, convenience, and location were the greatest pros of staying at Ocean Reef. Once this property gets a much needed facelift, it will be an ideal option because everything else is a plus.

Very good location in south beach area..steps to beach..great shopping and dinning options within 5 minutes drive..and just 1 block behind ocean drive..all the art deco hotels..great walking place besides ocean in the evening..very lively high end neighbourhood..

The staff is friendly and nice. The location is good. The room is clean and nice. The only issue was the breakfast menu. It is almost nothing. Only waffle, toast, coffee and mini spread cheese packets. I hope they can add more staff to the menu.

Impecable cleanliness, cozy, comfortable beds, spacious room, close proximity to anything: beach, Lincoln Road Mall, best restaurants in the area, Walgreens and CVS, Citibike stations. Friendly and helpful everyone who works in this hotel. It felt like home staying there because of them

The rooms were pretty dirty. The towels are bad quality. The window ac is complicated too. It was only cool on one side of the room and the bathroom area was very humid when we took a shower, and the floor of the shower is pretty gross with orange-ish marks on the edges. There is no ventilation. The stairs are sooo loud and very old. The whole place needs a remodel. There are a a lot of mosquitos too.

Pedro was awesome amazing outstanding. We didn’t have coffee cups with our plates so I went to office and asked Pedro and was told that the property had taken them away. So I said we drink coffee out of coffe cups not paper since we had them on our last few trips there so he want to find us some coffee cups which was an awesome thing to do. Please share this with him. The only other small thing is our room was much smaller than other times we have stayed besides that the room was good. This is our 3rd-4th time staying there so we really like the property and the location so we will be back. Give our thanks to Pedro. Please commend him properly

I booked for 8 days, it’s perfect for a beach type of people, cause they have 2 beach chairs that comes complementary, (umbrella is not included). Everything is in a walking distance which is super convenient. A lot of bars and restaurants on that street and Ocean drive is the next street, full of dining and bar options. Staff is very helpful. I’d definitely come back. They also have a coffee and tea station 24/7, water fountain.
