Reviews
The Sagamore Hotel in South Beach Miami is a popular choice for its prime location, friendly staff, and unique artwork. However, several guests have expressed concerns about the cleanliness, comfort of beds, and the need for renovations in certain areas of the hotel.

It is my fourth time staying there. It is a great place!

Everything went smoothly from check in to check out! Very clean, spacious rooms and the resort was very modern, loved the different art pieces. The pool was great and beach was steps away!

Fantastic Hotel! 10/10 for location right on the beach, within minutes walk to Ocean Drive and restaurants. 100% recommend this hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very good

A pleasant Sunday by the pool in the South Beach sunshine, supported by friendly and attentive service. Beyond that, The Sagamore Hotel South Beach feels distinctly dated and in need of a polish. The lobby’s extensive art display, anchored around a BitBasel presentation, comes across as shoddy and lacks impact. We stayed in a 32 sqm garden view room. The king bed was comfortable but overly soft for my partner. More concerning was the lack of basic functionality: no handheld shower, minimal bathroom storage, and no table or chair suitable for working—an odd omission for any modern hotel. Retired, and spending roughly 130 days a year traveling, I would rate the overall experience a 6/10.

Location is first choice with direct access to the beach. Staff was very attentive and their Flamingo Pool Party was great !

I love staying at The Sagamore. It’s relatively quiet, has a nice pool where the water is always refreshing but not cold. Most of all, I love having a suite instead of a small hotel room. Makes the vacation that much nicer.

Hotel is in a great location! But it was so loud and like a hang out in the lobby. I was given a room on the 6th floor but was not told the elevator was broken so would have to take the elevator to 5, walk all the way to the end of the bldg and then go to the stairwell and walk up to 6. It was very inconvenient and I booked my room months ago. They offered another room but it was on the 2nd floor at the back of the building above the pool and they said it will be very loud with dj and parties until midnight. The shower was broken and there was no conditioner. We used the QR code in the room for room service and confirmed an order but when it didn't change status from confirmed for over an hour, we called down and they had no idea because it's a 3rd party provider. They suggested I look at the app their provider used and find customer service and call/email them to get refunded. After some back and forth, someone at the front walked to the providers location for us since they were not answering their phone and they told them never got an order. However my credit card was charged and the order was confirmed through the app. I'm awaiting the credit for my room service that never arrived. The hotel did comp the resort fee, but doubtful I'll ever stay again.

IT IS AMAZING!

If you are familiar with big chain hotels this place felt a little different. Room was okay albeit a little on the small side but we were only here three days so it wasn’t too bad. Bed was very comfortable and overall the room was quiet. The door to the room was directly off a long hallway so we did hear people walking past. Pool and beach access was great. Beds on the beach were free but an extra $30 for a parasol which didn’t sit well with me. Loews did the same when we stopped their last year but it doesn’t make it right. Staff were all very pleasant and the coffee bar on site was great for a light breakfast. I would stay here again but probably not for a long period given the size of the room.

Everything, that’s my second day. I love this hotel. The rooms looking to the street needs to be renovated but location, staff and everything was perfect to cover the negativities. Ocean is lovely

The hotel situated on the beach, nice pool area. Beach personel were friendly and helpful. Room was clean. There was near shops, restaurants, bakerys. Ariel was very friendly in the breakfast restaurant. Breakfast was various and tasted very good. The same man all time in the reception never looked up or never said hello when we came back to hotel from the main door, never. He just looked his computer all the time. I didn't feel me welcome. The hotel didn't lend an adapter.

The location is incredible and the pool it’s just like you see in the pictures, with heated water. Having the chairs at the beach and bikes for rentar is really a plus. The mattress is very comfortable and the room was very spacious. The staff at the front desk is always willing to help and very attentive. If you want an umbrella at the beach, you have to pay extra. The rooms need some renovation. Service at the beach was not great.

Awesome hotel/resort in a prime location.
- 5/5
The location was perfect for walking, riding bikes, beach access and near all restaurants. I would definitely return to the Sagamore Hotel. The property was recommended by friends that have been going there every year.
- 5/5
Choose this centrally located boutique hotel, my experience was amazing from the pleasant smell walking in the door to the courteous staff, clean well stocked rooms to the swimming pool!!! Everything was perfect for our 28th anniversary ♥️
- 4/5
The vibe is great! Love all the art. Staff is also amazing.
- 2/5
This is a total Miami rip-off. They are charging resort fee, advertise complimentary beach chairs but then charge $30 for the umbrella - who gets a beach chair without umbrella? Just be semi-decent and don't try exploit your customers, I have stayed in tens of beach hotels and I was never charged for umbrella only - this is just ridicilous.
- 4/5
My suite was large and clean.
- 4/5
Great location. Well-kept property and we had a lovely room. Liked the refillable water bottles - a neat touch. Didn’t like being charged $30 for a beach umbrella after already paying $49 resort fee each
- 1/5
My sunglasses were stolen, a police report was filed and the pool security were supposed to be in touch regarding the video footage. Very disappointing and staff were arrogant.
- 4/5
The pool was small and there were a lot of children splashing around. If you're going with kids or don't mind the splashes then it's probably fine for you. If the pool was bigger it would be OK also but it was a strange mix of people drinking (pool party) vibes and kids. Hotel staff were also weirdly specific (and would stop you)about which water fountain you could fill your water bottle at. You couldn't use the lemon infused water but could you the fountain-- which felt a bit strange TBH.
- 4/5
We were on the fifth floor and had a view of the ocean. That was really nice. It was partially blocked by palm trees, but was still a really nice view. The room was nice but could’ve used a little bit of updating. It had some slightly cracked tiles on the floor and a small TV. Location was fantastic being right on the beach.
- 2/5
Rude front desk staff. Not worth staying here again.
- 5/5
From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The all-suite setup is a game changer—having separate living and sleeping spaces made the stay feel luxurious, spacious, and perfect for relaxing after a long day. The design of the hotel is absolutely stunning, with its unique blend of modern art and South Beach elegance. Everywhere you turn, there’s something visually interesting and beautifully curated. The location could not be better—right in the heart of South Beach with direct beach access. Being able to walk out to the ocean, enjoy the pool area, and still be steps away from restaurants, shopping, and nightlife made everything incredibly convenient. The pool and beachfront setup were standout highlights. The atmosphere was both lively and relaxing, with plenty of space to unwind while still feeling like you’re in the center of it all. It truly gave that perfect “vacation vibe.” The only minor inconvenience was that the TVs in the living room and bedroom were on different networks, which made it a little difficult to continue watching the same show when moving between rooms. It’s a small detail, but worth noting for convenience. Overall, this hotel exceeded expectations in comfort, style, location, and service. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a chic, relaxing, and well-located South Beach exper

We have stayed here twice now and love it!

Overall very good and very comfortable. Clean and well appointed. Very nice pool and beach. A couple things they could work on is new mattresses and an ice maker for guest use.
- 5/5
Great hotel is the middle of everything. Would stay there again!

Nice place in an excellent location. Not the fanciest or biggest of hotels but we loved it. Would stay again.

This hotel is an absolute dream. Everyone should stay here over any of the hotels in close proximity!
- 5/5
Great resort within walking distance to Art Deco ocean drive which was great. We loved the room and great bartender at the bar! When you needed something they were on it!! Definitely recommend it! Beds were great !

Great place!
- 1/5
It is not as it appears in the photos. The sofas were unclean. Furthermore, after leaving the room for two days and returning to complete my stay, I found the entire room are wet including the bed sheets. Additionally, they place "Reserved" signs on the best poolside tables simply to prevent guests from using them. When we went to the beach, they refused to open the umbrellas, citing the weather as an excuse—even though every surrounding hotel had their umbrellas open.
- 5/5
Great location, view, clean room
- 4/5
Exceptional service from all employees! Pool and beach access was excellent. Room conditions are ok, but amenities and service makes up for it!
- 5/5
The staff was professional and nice. Always willing to take care of our needs.
- 5/5
My family had three rooms at the Sagamore for a weekend celebrating my in-laws' 55th anniversary. Melody and the entire team at the Sagamore made it an unforgettable weekend at a beautiful hotel. The pool was great, the rooms were very comfortable and nice and the service was outstanding. We used the valet service which also worked great. 5-star experience!!
- 3/5
There was a music fesitval going on with this hotel as well as the next 6 hotels down the block with EDM going until 11pm. We were not informed by Hotel Sagamore about this event, we would have stayed elsewhere.
- 5/5
I traveled with my husband and two teenagers. We had a 2-story bungalow, which gave us a lot of space. Overall, very happy I booked here! It’s in a great location- right on the beach, tons of restaurants and stores walking distance. It’s an old, 1920s hotel with lots of character and modern amenities. Not the Ritz (which is next door) but I liked that it was smaller and a little more unique. Seemed like a good mix of families and couples. The pool got crowded, but we always found chairs. My kids loved going back and forth from beach to pool. The free bike rentals were great— the hotel is right on the path that runs along the ocean. Service was great. And the hotel bar (Water Lion) was amazing- rated too in the city. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Great location, view of the beach, and clean hotel.
- 2/5
The staff at the pool managing the towels was the rudest person I’ve ever met at a hotel. They were seriously gate keeping the towels to 2 per person - at a pool! Then at the beach, they never had enough towels there either. There were shared couches outdoors on the patio, which our room walked right onto. One morning, my kids went out there to play soccer and there was a vagrant man sleeping on one of the couches. None of the staff was apologetic about any of this. The location is good and it’s right on the beach. The pool was nice, but the pool food was not good, we always sent someone in our party outside of the hotel for lunch.

- 5/5
The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive. The beach is perfect. The pool is small but conveniently located.
- 4/5
The hotel next door The National is an adults only party hotel with management that told us they are fine getting noise violations and paying the fine and continue to blast music all day long—I have been to clubs, stadiums and concerts and never heard music this loud. You hear it loudly on the beach, in the ocean and even underwater. That was only one day of our stay and the rest was lovely, great staff, great service, but I would never stay in this area again and risk that. I also was put off by the absurd extra fees. They have become standard but if you drive be prepared to pay an extra $100 a day for resort fee and parking. That should be built into the overnight price.
- 5/5

Everything was fantastic! Loved our room. Staff was helpful. Beautiful hotel
- 5/5
The service is incredible the people are very nice! The room is awesome!!! Spacious and clean, a little dated, their toilets and showers need to be updated! Their cappuccino is amazing and the beach is gorgeous! The gym is not a gym and the pool could be better. But honestly I have stayed in many places in south beach and this one was good!
- 1/5
Needs updating. Kitchen a joke. Room menu and food poor Workout room ok Beds small Refrig ok but cheap Had the makings but poorly executed
- 4/5
Great location, slightly dated hotel but rooms very clean , staff was great, Hotel Wifii was pretty bad all 4 days …Hotel was aware of the problem but couldn’t get it fixed quickly . would definitely stay here again
- 5/5
The hotel was excellent. Amazing location, easy 10 min walk to Ocean Drive. Loads of restaurants and shops nearby. Direct access to the beach. The rooms were lovely, super clean. Staff was excellent. All in all a 10/10!
- 4/5
Nice pool, clean. No hot tub.
- 5/5
Room was the only disappointment with a view to an abandoned building
- 5/5
We stayed in room 601 (stand alone penthouse on rooftop). We had a side view to the ocean and it was just perfect!! We would definitely stay here again!
- 3/5
View was terrible overlooked the roof of another building. Hallways are painted very dark grey and are poorly lit. Music outside was loud until 11:30 pm and the Fire alarm went off at 3:30 am.
- 5/5
Only thing missing is a hot tube..
- 3/5
Spacious room but outdated. Front desk was not helpful
- 1/5
The reception area is lovely , pool and gardens lovely , then you take the lift to your room Open the door to find a very tired room , bathroom shower not working , kitchen facilities , a coffee maker amd microwave , 2cups and glasses , fridge freezer. No washing up kit , no dishcloth , nothing to dry up with I am guessing after covid no kitchen wear plates etc are provided . Bed was comfortable and clean I would like a 50% refund as i am so unhappy with my stay . Until they remodel the rooms i won't be returning . Overpriced ,overated
- 3/5
The room at the Sagamore was very clean and spacious with a large balcony overlooking the ocean. The bathroom was dated but clean. The door to the water closet was broken so we had to go around to get in. They never came to fix it after asking two times. Upon checking out we mentioned it again and basically told we should not complain because they upgraded the room for us.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect once again. My second trip to the hotel and everything was great
- 5/5
We loved it
- 5/5
They were able to switch out the goose feather pillows with good hypoallergenic ones. I wasn’t bothered by any noise. The staff and management all seemed very motivated to make sure we had a great stay, and we did.
- 5/5
Love this hotel highly recommend. Ariel one of the workers was the absolute best. He was one of the reasons I gave 5 stars. Loved the 2 hour free bikes and the pool was just awesome. Did a garden view room that basically turned out to be an ocean front so that was a bonus. Next time I’m in south beach this is where I’ll be staying !
- 5/5
Great reception team. Morning day and night
- 4/5
Courteous staff and amenities.
- 1/5
No heat (it was 42° in miami) •Bed spread had stains •Extremely noisy at 7am. People rolling track containers around every morning. Sounded like a train. • Leaky faucet in tub that was almost impossible to fall asleep with. • Staff at front desk basic shrugged their shoulders when i complained. But hey, they took $50 off my stay. A whooping 3%
- 5/5
Great room, very clean. Staff was helpful and courteous. Mickey at the pool bar was a gem! We had a great time
- 4/5
We had a great stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern and clean . Comfy beds. My only complaint is the slamming doors in the hallways . We moved rooms after 1 night , it was marginally quieter.
- 4/5
Beautiful art deco hotel at a great location. Pool, gym, wellness activities, bike rental, beach loungers are great. The house keeping and bell staff are great.
- 5/5
The room was so big and beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable and so where is the pillow?
- 5/5
Great location. Loved the pool. Nice room.
- 2/5
different towers. I had to upgrade to the better one for $50/night more when I arrived. Not quiet, parties and loud music until 11pm.
- 4/5

I was a returning customer vacationing with my family (including kids) and had an extremely disappointing experience. We encountered multiple cockroaches in our room, which is unacceptable when the room rate is exceeding $600 per night. I immediately reported the issue and shared photographs as documentation. However, we were never proactively offered a room relocation or reassured that the situation was fully addressed. The ongoing fear of additional cockroaches made it impossible to feel comfortable and enjoy our stay. The fact that I had to request compensation on my own, rather than being offered, further compounded an already negative experience. The only concession made was a waiver of resort fees, which falls well below industry standards for a documented health issue. I also submitted a formal complaint to Expedia Guest Services, but the response was that the resort fee waiver was all I would receive. I consequently reached out multiple times to address this with management and the customer experience staff that had texted me during my stay, but I was ignored and felt dismissed. I am posting this review to accurately reflect my experience and welcome hotel management to respond publicly and address these concerns.

Beds were extremely soft
- 5/5
By far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at on south beach
- 5/5
Clean spacious room and great location
- 5/5
The rooms were outdated, TVs had nothing working. Everything else was fine.
- 5/5
The staff was unbelievable the cleanliness phenomenal highly recommended one of the best times I’ve ever had in Miami. Thank you very much for having us. We will be back. We love you guys. Thank you.
- 5/5
La atención y el up garde que nos dieron en una de las habitaciones
- 4/5
The hotel itself is elegant and modern, with a cool art-gallery feel throughout. Our room was comfortable and well laid out, and we loved being able to walk straight out to the beach whenever we wanted. The pool area was a nice place to unwind after a day in the sun. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere felt upscale without being stiff or pretentious. If you’re looking for a stylish, well-located South Beach hotel with easy beach access and a relaxed but polished vibe, the Sagamore is a great option.
- 5/5
Excellent location. Wonderful staff.
- 4/5
Clean room, unspectacular, some chipped floor tiles and sofa bed was average. Good staff but like all these South beach hotels they overcharge for everything: $47 a night to park, $30 for an umbrella for your complimentary 2 beach chairs, $17 more if you need a third chair (without pads like the big hotels. Location is great so it’s about price. A good stay if you get a room rate and minimize extras that really add up
- 4/5
There wasn't much of a beach view from the room I was in, but the 2 level suite I was in was great as I was traveling with my wife and kids. The suite was on the first level which made it very neat the pool
- 3/5
“Beach view” was non existent. Our view was the concrete wall of what seemed to be an active construction site… The cleaning always felt half-done/lackluster. The noise level was a bit insane into the late evening and then starting again in the early evening. Seems we were by an active construction site!
- 5/5
Amazing stay! From check-in, the room, services and amenities! Highly recommend!
- 4/5
One thing to note for families with small children: we were traveling with a baby in a stroller, and some areas had steps without a convenient ramp or alternative path. It made it a bit challenging to move around with the stroller. It would be great if the hotel could improve accessibility in those spots. Aside from that, everything else was wonderful and we would consider staying again.
- 3/5
Staff was great, room was spacious but needed some TLC in terms of paint and bathroom upgrades. Common areas were updated and art was a nice touch. Hallways need a major rehab. Hotel is still in flux with renovations. Great location !
- 5/5
Best hotel at the price point with great service
- 5/5

We came to the hotel for Art Basel. Although I expected the hotel to be lively, I was not expecting the entire pool area and lobby to be taken over throughout our entire stay with crowds that certainly werent patrons of Art Basel. It was very unpleasant to come to the hotel and have nowhere to sit or relax. The room was fine, but if you are going to host parties until late until the night the least you can do is soundproof the windows. I was up in the middle of the night becauae it was so loud. Even from the beach (The only area of respite from the crowds you brought in), you could hear the loudspeaker and music. And on top of that, umbrellas had an extra fee. I asked for a complimentary umbrella but the front desk never got back to me. For what we paid, having the pool area be roped off is unacceptable. I had to go to another hotel to be able to relax. Be warned - this hotel does not care about its guests and only wants to make money with events. There was an entire conference happening at the pool with people speaking over loudspeakers. This was going on from morning to night from Tueaday until Saturday. Big mistake!
- 3/5
Don’t recommend staying here if you want respectful, honest, welcoming and informative service.

I wasn't expecting super luxury, but this was a pretty big let down. On arrival the valet didn't understand enough English to check in the car. Had to type in my own info into his cell phone app. I'd prefer to bring my own bags up but it's kind of difficult to go up a set of stairs of course. We were deferred to the bellhop. At some point along the way my fairly new suitcase hit something, drywall maybe, had to pick it out of the corner. Room was generally clean but tired. Bathroom is nice. Bed is nice, comfortable, nice pillows. View is not very high, but nice. Downhill from there. Cupboard doors don't shut properly. Lower part of cupboard by fridge the wood was damaged and rotted out. Lot of hardware is rusted, hinges, mirror frames, lamp body. Balcony door required a LOT of force to open. We discovered ants, ghost ants specifically. Not a welcome sight. They gave us the other balcony room at 2am, took an hour to move. Other room was similar condition. Not one working light in the back stairwell. Railing had one mount completely rusted through. Key card wouldn't open door to get back to room from there either. The pool furniture is old and beat. The bikes look rough and all tires are bald. All but one encounter with staff was very positive. Shame I can't say the same about the rest of the place. It's being torn down soon. Good riddance IMO.
- 5/5
Had a great spacious room - bungalow and i enjoyed it a lot
- 5/5
Loved it!
- 5/5
Love staying at the Sagamore. Staff are friendly and welcoming, pool area has lush gardens and plenty of lounge areas. Rooms facing the ocean are gorgeous and truly magical all day long. Great stay for the area.
- 3/5
While the suite we stayed in had a decent amount of space, and the common areas were well maintained, at the end of the day the lackluster room you're paying for most heavily influenced my review. The front entrance reeked of garbage as the building dumpsters were not far away. Outside of the hotels control, it seems that all of the neighboring buildings were under heavy construction.
- 3/5
Grounds and resort were nice, the room was outdated and a little awkward.
- 4/5
Everything was great but wish the rooms had better lighting.
- 5/5

The Sagamore was very luxe and relaxing oasis in Miami Beach. The room was modern, spacious with cozy beds. Loved the chill lobby, with art gallery, heated pool and beach staff was top notch. Very peaceful spot but also cool, This hotel is close and walkable to many eateries and Lincoln Road shops. Highly recommend for couples and families. We will be back!

Great place to stay
- 5/5
This is a fantastic hotel! Came for a girls Miami trip. Right on the beach, great pool. Walking to restaurants and shopping. The staff was very friendly and checked to make sure everything was ok with our stay. Will be coming back!
- 5/5
After having a horrible stay at another place, the Sagamore hotel was amazing. Would definitely recommend again.
- 1/5
Extremely disappointed. Rude and unfriendly front desk staff Gimena! Pool staff was amazing. Vito was super friendly and nice!
- 4/5
The place is very nice, I didn't like that not all the seats by the pool were available for guests, but everything else was a great stay.
- 5/5
I love the staff, they are friendly and they check on you throughout your stay. I always stay at this hotel when I come to Miami!!!
- 4/5
Pool is small. Weird room card/ poop card return policy. Didn’t try breakfast. Food by the pool just ok. Next door at Marseilles Beachfront Hotel has good food and better pool/ spa facilities. I will try that next time.

We enjoyed our stay, highly recommended, the staff were very friendly and the pool was absolutely fantastic

Excellent stay at this hotel. The front desk even texts you to check if they can do anything for you. We got upgraded to a penthouse which was great. Our room was quiet. The bed was massive and super comfy. Everything was perfect Thankyou
- 4/5
Room-upon arrival - a little thing like that can ruin how you feel about your stay
- 4/5
One complaint: We stayed at Rm#404, whoever was renting above us, was very noisy (w/the marble floors, every time the person moved his chairs around was so loud and scraping the floors like they were in our apartment. Better leg insulating for the chairs would be a great help to reduce the noise.
- 4/5
Only one elevator
- 5/5
Beach was super close. Staff was nice.
- 4/5
It was good enough
- 5/5
Excellent hotel. Definitely recommend
- 5/5
Great location pool and beach convenient and excellent service from hotel staff.
- 5/5
Great hotel.
- 5/5
Our stay at the Sagamore was pleasant, the staff was excellent, kind, attentive. Our room the king balcony studio was amazing, the art on the property was beautiful, the entire stay was suberb. The pictures online could be better because this place is far better in person than the any of pictures online. Walk to the beach was a stroll away, renting the bikes For free! Riding them to the south pier was fun. Everything was a close walk away.
- 5/5
Great stay and very accommodating we’ve stayed at the Sagamore on multiple occasions and will again!
- 5/5
Would come again this time would chose a Room away from street noise and bar across the street
- 4/5
Staffing and customer service were excellent
- 5/5
Received upgrade (was great, for booking w Expedia)). Super clean, amazing location (steps to Lincoln). Lemon water by pool and lobby. Would be nice if coffee / tea were complimentary in lobby. Would absolutely recommend and stay again.

Great location
- 5/5
The Sagamore was a great experience. It was a beautifully designed hotel and it had a great smell in the hall. There were beautiful sitting spaces and it was a calm, peaceful with wonderfully professional and welcoming staff.
- 4/5
Place was beautiful
- 5/5
They made my stay extra special. They definitely went above and beyond in every step of the way and with so many hotels in the area, not sure if I would pick another from now on
- 5/5
Very clean, staff was very pleasant
- 5/5
Loved the Art Deco Style hotel. The room was huge I thought that it had been an apartment at one time but they said it had always been a hotel. It’s right on the beach.
- 4/5
Fue lo único que me decepcionó por lo demás el hotel es espectacular
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, beautiful room and awesome pool. Really enjoyed my trip
- 4/5
The main building was a little bit outdated - but clean and comfortable! The parking was 45$ per night, which is ok. Included in the price we also had chairs and towels - but the umbrella was not included. We had some drinks at the pool bar during the rain and it was very good service.
- 5/5
Love this hotel and everything about it. We’ve been coming here regularly for 16 years, and hope for many more to come.
- 5/5
Vegas style hospitality, Miami vibes, don't miss the wine bar tucked in the lobby!
- 5/5
Great location, attentive and friendly staff, clean and interesting public areas in the hotel. Good value for money, would stay again

My favorite hotel in South Beach. Reminds me of old art deco from the 90’s
- 1/5
A totally run-down hotel that urgently needs to be renovated

- 5/5
Amazing hotel, convenient location and family friendly.
- 5/5
Everyone was so knowledgeable and helpful
- 4/5
Very romantic and tropical area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool was amazing, bartenders were super nice and good at their job. Room was little poor. Cracked glass. Slider door not properly working, bathroom dirty with bugs. Room needs work but the rest was great.
- 5/5
Great location ! The rooms advertise that they fit 4 adults, but pull out (futon) in living room area is tiny barely fits one person. I have 2 teenage sons and it was very uncomfortable for them. When I asked for a cot, I was told there was a waiting list for cots and I never got one. Otherwise great hotel!

Perfect location in Miami! Highly recommend it!

The next door noise was bad, but the hotel moved us to an upgraded room and all was well. We enjoyed the stay very much.
- 2/5
Terrible beds!!!! They show that have kitchen but only have a small friege and microwave.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly, drinks pool side were excellent ,food The room was very spacious, comfortable can use a little facelift. Location excellent, close to all restaurants and shopping. Definitely recommend it.
- 5/5
The Sagamore made for a great Miami visit.
- 5/5
Great option for excellent location and chill atmosphere
- 5/5
Muy buena ubicación
- 5/5
I stood at the Sagamore
- 5/5
The room was a good size for a family of four. It has a pullout sofa. There are two full size beds. Also, you have a small refrigerator and microwave too!
- 5/5
Amazing proeprty
- 5/5
Very responsive room service, very courteous staff.
- 4/5
This property is in a nice location, easy beach access, right on the boardwalk as well. A nice outdoor bar with friendly staff. I loved that we could park our rental at a garage that was about a 3-5 minute walk. Healthy food options near by, no car is needed if you want to stay in South Beach. Uber rides were less than $10 if taken to places around south beach SOFI or mid-beach. A shopping center is right there as well, called Lincoln Road. I highly recommend the only thing there is no laundry there, but they have laundry service that cost money.
- 5/5
Hotel staff were great, every request, question, or issue was addressed and resolved immediately.
- 5/5
A special shoutout goes to Mickey and Vito by the pool—they truly made our experience exceptional. Their service was attentive, friendly, and warm from start to finish. They made sure we were always comfortable and went above and beyond to make our time by the pool feel like a true vacation. Thank you to the Sagamore team for an unforgettable stay. I’ll definitely be back!
- 5/5
The staff on the beach were amazing. They took care of us and we had a great time.
- 5/5
Always an excellent experience. Great location!
- 5/5
Everything was super clean, staff very friendly. The only issue I had was with the valet parking, they damage my truck and until this date, they haven’t resolve the issue, so my advise is take pictures or video of your vehicle every single time it moves out of the parking garage,
- 5/5
Pleasant atmosphere! Well-crafted cocktails and a good selection of beverages.

Beautiful ocean view and wrap around balcony. Staff was excellent and ready to please.
- 4/5
Property did a good job. Received upgrade due to room not being ready at 5:30pm. Also, wifi did not work in the room. I had a hotspot, so I was good. Very nice property.
- 5/5
The service has been outstanding, I could not recommend it more highly. They deserve 6 stars. Even Delry was superb and could not have been better. I highly recommend you stay here.
- 5/5
A great boutique hotel for family, friends and or couples. I love that all rooms have suites. The pool is cool but some I’m a beach person the beach is better. The service at the beach could have been a tad bit better but it was still nice to have someone cater to you.
- 5/5
Great Location, nice amenities and welcoming staff.
- 5/5
We love staying at the Sagamore. Always a great stay
- 5/5
A wonderful stay - right up there as one of my favourite hotels in South Beach
- 5/5
It was great ! They held our luggage while as we were early and when our room wasn’t ready on time they gave us a room upgrade
- 5/5
I LOVE the Sagamore, Im not sure what Miami has to offer chances are I will never know. Because the Sagamore keeps our attention over and over again.
- 5/5
Location was perfect for Lincoln avenue and loved the room, the space and the vibe around the pool. The 2 hour free bike ride was a nice touch. Just great value and a super stay.
- 2/5
We were put in the old part of the building which was dirty, dated, smelly and not fit for purpose. We asked to be moved to the newer building, but were told the hotel was full.
- 5/5
Excellent staff and location. Loved the bikes and pool!
- 4/5
Nice hotel! Staff was ok. Hotel manager makes up for it
- 5/5
I had an incredible experience at the Sagamore Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff was extremely attentive and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The hotel was spotless in every area, from the lobby to the rooms, was immaculately clean and well-maintained. Service was top notch throughout our stay. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or restaurant staff, everyone went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is unbeatable and right in the heart of the action, just steps away from everything you’d want to explore. It made getting around incredibly easy and added so much to the overall experience. Highly recommend the Sagamore for anyone looking for a clean, stylish, and well-run hotel in a prime location. We’ll definitely be back!

👍
- 5/5
This property was amazing! Had one of the most attentive staffs in every role I have ever seen.
- 2/5
Moderate maintenance, if you don’t upgrade rooms are not updated, 3 hr wait for ice, no internet in room to stream to the tv, Cleaning lady put back the dirty cups to reuse, no cleaning for two days despite putting a sign out to clean. Property manager offered another stay after check out so little too late, instead of emailing and texting knowing we had issues from the beginning or our 5 day stay, clearly displays poor management in many aspects. Other than the location I would Not recommend.
- 5/5
Great location and friendly staff!!
- 5/5
Loved the sagamore in my 20's , recently stayed again now with my husband and two toddlers, it was perfect. Clean, quiet and staff was super helpful and very nice. Hotel is beautiful and clean
- 5/5
While I didn’t get a chance to use the on-site amenities or dining options, the service more than made up for it—staff were consistently professional, attentive, and friendly throughout my stay. The location was perfect—convenient and walkable to plenty of dining and shopping options, which made getting around easy without a car. Overall, The Sagamore offers a stylish, comfortable, and convenient stay in the heart of South Beach. I would absolutely recommend it and plan to stay again in the future.
- 2/5
not worth the price as well as rude FD staff!
- 4/5
Things happen. This time Lift problems . But dealt with very professionally by the manager
- 5/5
Well kept property. Nice location on Miami Beach. Helpful staff that responded quickly to requests or information.
- 3/5
However, if we’d stayed, we know it would have been wonderful. They gave us a day pass for the pool/beach as a consolation, so that’s how we know it was a swanky place. Very sad, but we hope to try again next year. The lesson we learned is that if your travel plans change, contact the hotel DIRECTLY by phone!
- 5/5
Nice Hotel, we will come back.
- 4/5
Room has mosquitoes upon arrival. Staff was friendly and did the best they can do. Room floor was also sticky. French door to pool didn’t seem to close properly.
- 5/5
The location is top notch. A lovely boutique hotel with great service. A top notch 4 star hotel.
- 2/5
Eh I’ve stayed here several time and each time the conditions of the hotel get worst. Everything is very dated and worn out. We may wait until they renovate or update to return. There are too many other options in south beach.
- 2/5
Broken elevator so luggage was needed to be carried up 3 floors. Incredibly loud in hallway. Mosquitos!! Coming in from idk where, but I didn't have a door or window open in my room yet every night I would kill at least 5 of them and still would wake up with bits on my arms and legs. Everything was worn or broken. Lamp switch - broken, shower curtain- gross with stains. Even the frig couldn't get cold, yet it was loud AF at night. I left after 3 days.
- 2/5
Otherwise, the beach was beautiful and weather was accommodation. Extra charge for umbrella and additional chair seems to be "Miami thing" Above all, we were glad to have safe and happy trip.
- 3/5
The staff was very friendly and responsive. The location was great. Close to everything. Beach access is right there as well. Bike trail along the beach was wonderful. I did not like that by the pool, the food came in boxes and did not seem hot. The pizza was good. Our room faced the street so it was a little noisy and the black out curtains did not close all the way so the light was coming in. In the double bed suite we had, the couch seemed small and some of the bathroom sink/shower fixtures were loose. The size of the suite was good though.
- 5/5
Great location in the the heart of South Beach. Staff was great!
- 2/5
I typically love writing great reviews bc often times people just like to post reviews when there’s something to be upset about. Unfortunately, I was super disappointed in our stay. The people at the front desk were nice, but the wait staff was rude, not helpful, the pool towels were always empty, so was the water. The rooms’ doors didn’t close without force and it felt a bit unsafe. The sleeper sofa was super uncomfortable for our kids. The windows didn’t close fully bc they’re old with cracks near the edges so we struggled getting good sleep bc the late night noise. The location was the only really good thing about this place. The art was neat, too. Definitely would not stay here again. Especially at the price we paid. Super disappointed.
- 4/5
Nice place, Miami not a quiet area if looking to chill on beach .
- 4/5
Great property in terms of service and location. Staff made us feel important and welcomed by offering a bottle of wine and free room upgrade upon learning that we are celebrating our anniversary. Pool was small but clean. You are right in the heart of south beach Miami. I would stay again.
- 5/5
I was so pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The vibe was outstanding, location absolutely perfect. The pool and food were next level. Staff so incredibly nice. This will be my go to hotel whenever in Miami.
- 5/5
Great time
- 5/5
Excellent spot and amazing service from all the staff. Totally recommend it
- 5/5
Courteous friendly staff in a reasonably priced beachfront hotel. Poolside bungalows with balconies and partial ocean view are great.
- 5/5
Great experience. No issues.
