Reviews
The hotel's location is highly praised for its proximity to the cruise port, shopping, dining, and Bayside Marketplace. However, the reviews consistently mention issues with the elevators, describing them as slow, small, and inefficient. The rooms and bathrooms are frequently described as small, outdated, and sometimes unclean.
- Excellent location
- Friendly staff
- Inefficient elevators
- Small, outdated rooms and bathrooms
- 3/5
The property is located close to Downtown Miami and near restaurants and other attractions. The room was a bit dated but overall fairly decent
- 2/5
The staff was rude with the exception of the late night valet he was extremely helpful and courteous. On our final day when we were checking out the elevators stopped working and we continuously tried to contact the front desk for assistance since I have a disability and couldn’t carry my bags down the unventilated stair well and my family and I had to rely of others to help us get down as no support or plan b was provided we were up 15 stories after being out of breath and almost slipping 6x as the stairwell was slippery from lack of ventilation we made it down dripping wet in sweat and out of breath we almost fainted!! This was thee most unresponsive and most rude encounter I’ve ever experienced with an out of service elevator. They have no plan in place to help disabled guests out of the building. There were multiple people stopped in different levels of the stairwells out of breath and dripping wet I’m surprised an ambulance wasn’t called.! I would definitely look to book with another hotel if you plan to stay in Miami. The AC in one of rooms didn’t work they didn’t attempt to fix it, one main room door had around a nice gap so you could everyone and everything. Our bathtub didn’t drain. Also they sent text about check in if there was anything we needed I made requests they confirmed of course we will get these items to you and upon check in housekeeping was avai.

Staff was excellent and very helpful they were top notch. But it's an outdated hotel and the rooms are pretty small and the elevator was an issue.

Close to the airport and the port. Elevators broke down during our stay and we had to carry our luggage down 17 flights of stairs in a hot, crowded stairwell. No one offered to carry our luggage and there was no discount or reimbursement offered.

- 2.5/5
It was clean and had ac. I liked that it was close to the airport and the port. The elevators broke down during our stay and we had to carry all of our luggage down 17 flights of stairs in a hot, crowded stairwell and there was no offer for someone to come get our bags or some kind of discount offered. Also, no complimentary breakfast.

Concierge was rude and not helpful, elevators were not working, Ac was loud. The only thing i enjoyo was the bar, workers were nice and helpful.
- 3/5
Location was great if needing a hotel close to Miami cruise Port, but the bathroom was SMALL! It was the size of an airplane bathroom just added space for a bathtub.
- 4/5
Small room in a great location. We enjoyed the restaurant too!
- 3.5/5
Proximity to Bayside Marketplace and the cruise port. There was a musty smell in the hallways, the rooms are small, the bathrooms are tiny, the AC units are very loud and on the day of our check out the elevators broke. While I understand that isn’t their fault, there was no notification to the guests and we had to call from the hall at the elevator bank to find out. They said that they would send staff to help us with our luggage, but we had to catch our Uber and could not wait. We carried our luggage down 15 flights. I think if they would have notified the people who they knew were checking out that this was happening, we could have planned a bit better to head down earlier.
- 0.5/5
The elevator wasn’t working had to bring heavy luggage down thru stairs from the 14th floor

This place is terrible. I booked this place with it stating there was breakfast I get there and it’s no breakfast, no blow dryers or refrigerator or microwave in the room. I was placed in a room with no a/c and a broken bed and the bathroom was so small you couldn’t even get in the bathroom. Then during checkout all guests had to walk down flights of stairs cause the elevator supposedly wasn’t working & I was on the 15th floor with someone in the room that was unable to walk down stairs. Staff didn’t even offer to take luggage down. I will NEVER stay at this place and I do NOT recommend.

Location was good, Dirty, elevator out of order. Had to walk 8 flights both way
- 5/5
The location was amazing specially if you are doing cruise ,it is so close Nothing all was perfect
- 0.5/5
Right near the board walk to eat and shop Elevator went out, staff didn’t notify anyone and I had to go down 14 floors with 5 suitcases over 45+pounds. No help from employees, my room was dirty, Ac kept turning off middle of the night, attempted to call the hotel to speak with manager you get a third party, and they try to transfer you and no one picks up. Stay has been completed and don’t even show my security deposit refunded back- which by the way the all says 50.. it’s $100.

Broken elevator
- 2/5
The hotel was very clean. The staff was nice. BUT only had 2 elevators. Then they both broke down. Had to carry all luggage down the stairs. They did not offer to assist at all. I felt bad for the staff, but worse for the visitors
- 1/5
Elevator broke, 17 floors up. After 3 hours, clerk said they still don’t have anyone working on it. Bathroom was so small you could brush teeth while sitting on toilet.

Portrays a beautiful hotel online. Arrives and was disappointed by the upkeep of the building. It is a very old building that looks as of the walls have not been cleaned in years! Also, we arrived at 9pm and both the restaurant and bar was closed??? Makes no sense. The staff were very impersonal and short, just wanted to get rid of the customer from the deal so they could continue inappropriate conversation with each other. At one point we entered the front desk and was met with a group of three guys standing at the entrance having a discussion about one of the guys twenty kids by twenty baby mamas! My 15 year old looked at me in amazement! This is very inappropriate conversation to have in a lobby at the volume level that they could be easily heard by people walking by. Lastly two Full beds were uncomfortable! Shower was dirty with hair and lastly found a pair of prescription glasses in our room in the bed! How are we changing sheets if we don’t discover these glasses in the case!?!? Only good thing was location!
- 3/5
Buena área pero muy baja calidad las reparaciones y mantenimiento
- 2/5
It was close to the port. There was a stain on the sheets. The air conditioner was very loud, couldn’t sleep with it on. The toilet was blocked and the toilet seat was falling off so much so as I fell off. Maintenance generally was poor most things seemed broken or worn. The on site restaurant is so overpriced. Everyone complains about the small lifts and it’s true, be prepared to wait for a while to get down to the lobby. There is a charge for daily service but the service is minimal, the doesn’t get vacuumed.
- 3/5
Very convenient location King bed in room was great. Pull out sofa had gross stains all over it. Booked for 4 and no linens for sofa bed and only 2 towels in the room. When busy, the 2 elevators took really long.
- 3/5
Hotel was clean, however we only had a small window looking right at an abandoned building so the view was horrible The bathroom was way too small. When sitting on the toilet the sink is right in your face. There was no room to put on your clothes after a shower

We booked this hotel to stay the night before our cruise. We would be arriving by car at 10pm that night, after a long ride and needed a hotel close by the cruise terminal and with parking. This hotel offered valet parking. Upon arrival, the valet said they were full. I asked, what do we do now, he said you'll have to find parking elsewhere. Left the car in the front by the valet and went in the hotel to speak with hotel staff. Explaining I booked this hotel because it had parking and I paid $600 just to stay one night here. They didn't care, were not sympathetic. Were just like, too bad, find parking elsewhere. For this reason, I will never stay here again.
- 3/5
This hotel is just a stop for the people going to the port. Nothing to write home about.
- 5/5
The staff was kind and helpful. The room was clean. Breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a location close to the Bayside Area.
- 5/5

- 3.5/5
It was near to the office were I had to go Property was ok but the bathrooms way to small
- 5/5
The location was perfect and the staff very friendly. The parking situation.
- 1/5
Bathroom was smaller than my closet. LONG wait for elevators. No staff available to provide blankets til the next morning.
- 5/5
Nice hotel in the heart of Downtown Miami, close to Basyside, Metro Mover, Kesaya Center, Port of Miami and much more.
- 2/5
The resort and room look nothing like the pictures. Does not justify the costs per night. $55 valet ended up being $66 after fees, paid to a separate valet company (not the resort). Our floor smelled like a mix of mold and cigarettes. The blue carpet was dirty and housekeeping missed a lot of spots. Conveniently located to port of Miami and cruise parking but I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here for longer than a night.
- 5/5
Great staff. Wonderful ambiance n excellent location
- 5/5
Nothing wasn't bad No cups for coffee

- 5/5
Great pre-cruse stay in Miami. Steps form the Miami mover to get around town and walking distance to some great Miami attractions. View from the 17th floor of Port of Miami was incredible. Staff was great and helped arrange transport to the cruise port for me.
- 5/5
Bathroom was tiny
- 1/5
Do not book with this hotel. The sheets were trifling and when ask for them to be changed we were the given a nasty attitude from staff. Only the cold water was working. And ths AC kept cutting on and off.
- 0.5/5
Nothing Police activity all morning at the 7 eleven and 24 hour store located next to the hotel. The location didn't feel safe. Staff made us wait until exactly 4pm (3 hours after arrival) in a lobby with no where to sit. Paid for an upgraded room but was told it wasn't available and would have to wait later then 4pm. Elevators took forever to use and couldn't use the stairs with 4 suitcase and everyone checking out at the same time. After spending 40 dollars on two drinks was asked to move from the front patio because we didn't buy food but there was zero other seating options. Bathroom was GROSS.
- 0.5/5
It was an expensive hotel...
- 1/5
Didn’t know there was one! Room size incredibly small, bed was uncomfortable and air conditioner sounded like a freight train!

Great location but they room was dirty bathroom was filthy we had to change room because bathroom was dirty
- 3/5
We are not the first time staying in this hotel. We were enjoying most of our stays there but this time was somewhat different. The bed was ok but overall the noise of ac was very loud, compared to the other rooms we were staying before. We love YVE because is very close by to everything but some things needs to be improved.
- 3.5/5

- 1/5
Nothing Whole hotel was ass, it was like staying in a high rise motel or equivalent of a jail cell. The bathrub rather than fixing the rust in the tub they threw a bath matt patch. Aka just a quick fix rather than completely fixing the proper way aka tub resurfacing needs to be done. The shower head had calcium built up causing weak water pressure and weird feeling on the skin. Bed had massive stain and the floor was in a desperate need of a deep cleaning.
- 2/5
Room was not clean before or during stay. Questioned if sheets were free before checking in. We never received housekeeping the first day without asking multiple times. Complex on has 2 slow moving elevators that are constantly backed up. Was not impressed at all and will not go back.
- 3/5
Room was a bit musty but overall clean. No fan in the bathroom so it was very steamy when showering. The restaurant downstairs had good food but lacked staff. Only 1 person working the bar and restaurant and he didnt know how to make any of the drinks. Was very nice though.
- 2/5
One of the worst stays I’ve had. Bed was dirty, room was fine but windows looking out were dirty, just seemed like a landlord special painted white over everything. Walls were paper thin and the staff are friendly but not helpful. The elevators, there are only two, and they both suck. Takes forever to get one down or up. Needless to say for the price this wasn’t a great deal.
- 4/5

- 2/5
Elevators one didn’t work and the other one might just as well not worked! They were horrible

Nothing I did not stay. The rooms was small the curtains had stain on them and the bathroom sinks had hair in it and it was small Everything Looked run down in the inside and the outside was like a regular housing building
- 3/5
The hotel was clean and convenient to cruise ships. The room was much smaller then it appeared in the pictures and the bathroom was smaller then a cruise ship's bathroom. There was no room in there.
- 2/5
Staff were nice
- 3.5/5
Very close to cruise terminal and waterfront park Terrible elevators!!! 2 small elevators! Warning message sent in the evening to plan on an extra 30 minutes to get to the lobby! Obviously a main shuttle pick up point! Lobby was very crowded in AM!

It is very close to the Port Our room sloped in the center of the floor. Could be dangerous for anyone who doesn’t have good stability.

Excellent location and beautiful harbour view on the penthouse level. Clean and good bedroom size. The bathroom is a bit small but use friendly. No mini fridge to store juice or fruits.
- 0.5/5
Great location only thing Booked a Jr. suite and a wasn’t able to get the room I paid for got moved into a room with no view
- 1/5
First, they claimed they never received my payment although I booked through Expedia. Had to sit in the phone for over an hour for them to then charge me an additional charge for my 2 nights and then I would have to get back from Expedia. It was sketchy. We arrived after midnight due to flight delays and there were drunks all around the outside of the property. The room pictures essentially catfished us. It was so tiny. We booked queens and they were essentially full size. There was little to no walkway and you couldn’t use the restroom without having the door open because the bathroom was so tiny. Absolutely do not recommend.
- 5/5
We love staying here when we cruise. So convenient & close to restaurants/some shopping & people watching
- 5/5
The room was clean. The bathroom was extremely small. The staff was amazing. We didn't get there til 4am because of flight delays. But, the staff was helpful, cheerful, and informative at 4am
- 3/5
Rooms and bathrooms were pretty small, but the location was convenient. Wouldn’t recommend as a long term stay. However it’s doable if staying for a night or maybe two.
- 1/5
Kept part of my deposit with no explanation. I have emailed. I have called and spoken with the service desk. They were supposed to get back to me as to why a portion of the deposit has been kept. No word has been 3weeks. My 12yr old and myself were in the room only to sleep before a cruise. We did not take anything. We did not trash or destroy the room.

Good location, and that’s about it. Well my luggage was stolen from the hotel and the staff were VERY unhelpful. My luggage was left in their custody, and a receipt was given to me for them to identify my luggage upon collection. When collecting, my luggage was gone, and confirmed via CCTV after an hour of waiting for confirmation that someone has simply stolen it. No compensation was offered despite being entitled to this. To add and keep this an honest review, the carpet in my room was very dirty. After walking around barefoot on the carpet after a shower, the soles of my feet were filthy, so I had to use flip flops to walk around in.
- 3/5
The carpet in the room is disgustingly dirty. Overall the common areas are being neglected.
- 5/5
Close to Port of Miami. In walking distance to Bayside. Restaurant in hotel. Friendly staff.

Customer service and hospitality are very important, especially when guests are tired from traveling. A more courteous and helpful check-in experience would have made a big difference.
- 4/5
Staff was nice and everything worked. Wasn’t the cleanest place and needs to be updated. Worked for what we needed.
- 1/5
Both the hallways and the room had an awful odor. You can see paint dropping on the carpet, coffee machine, and trays. The bathroom was so small you can barely room to turn in it. By far the room was not worth the extra money it cost for bay front views .
- 2/5
Didn’t love it at all, the bed gave us back issues it was literally slanted…the rugs super dirty, mirror broken, weird smell, holes in pillows. I’d like a refund.
- 4/5
Smelled good, was clean, great value, held our luggage while we went out to eat with security keeping track of luggage Nothing I didn’t like
- 1.5/5

When we checked in they said they couldn’t valet our car, we would have to park it ourselves. At our insistence they decided to valet the car. Then we were given a king room instead of double. There were no garbage cans in the room, no soap in the dispenser in the shower and only one bar soap for three adults. The sheets and the towels were dingy. The elevator is tiny. However, the beds were comfortable and the staff tried their best to be helpful. The room was not very expensive, and they resolved the issues we complained about. So not too bad for price.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel, only bad thing was that the Valet Parking was full and that was one of the main reasons for my reservation there
- 5/5
Great stay! Stayed again after my cruise.
- 2/5
I paid for a king bed and they gave me a room with two twin beds not satisfied at all. We will never stay here again.
- 4/5
The room was clean and the entire hotel smelled nice. Kind of rough outside at dark. There is a restaurant and bar on site. Conveniently located across from Bayfront Park. Tons of construction around. Overall a pleasant experience.
- 4/5
Everything was good. Close to the Bayside. We were there very easily.
- 2/5
Paid a fee to use facilities but we didn’t use them. There was coffee in the room but only enough for one person.
- 5/5
The room was clean, and we had a great view. The bathroom was actually smaller than our cruise ship room's, but it was still functional and clean, so it worked. The hotel was within a short walking distance to the Bay Marketplace, which had all kinds of food, shops, and entertainment.
- 4/5
The location was amazing We had to switch rooms because the mattress had a huge dip in it. It was after midnight and we just arrived from a long delay of travel.
- 4/5
Very friendly, helpful staff including waiter at restaurant. Excellent location in downtown with many nearby restaurants. I was not aware that the hotel did not have any parking. The $55 charge for valet and overnight parking came as an unpleasant surprise. That charge should be disclosed prominently upfront. The valet like the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful.
- 4.5/5
Very well located. Not a luxury hotel. Excellent to spend a weekend enjoying Miami. It's the place to stay when you want a hotel just for sleeping ..............

I have stay at YVE before and it was great but this time I was greatly disappointed. The tub and shower tiles were not very clean. One of the pipes was separating from the shower wall. The iron was dirty. My room was on the fifth floor and the entire floor smelled like mildew. I did asked for a new room but I was told the hotel was full.

My room was filthy. So much so I left immediately after arriving and booked a different hotel. Stains on the sheets, crumbs all over the floor. Bathroom floor was sticky. It was terrible.
- 4/5
The hotel staff was very nice and the bartender was great. The hotel itself is really pretty but I will say the bathroom that we had was small outdated and could definitely use some upgrades. Other than that, we had a really nice view a really good experience just stuck out for me.
- 3.5/5
I loved the location and the view from the room. Perfect for cruisers to get to the port easily. The rooms were super small especially the bathroom. The room wasn’t as modern as I expected it to be.

- 3/5
The only problem for me was the elevator too small for the volume of guests.
- 0.5/5
They ask for a 100$ deposit and we gave it. They gave us 28$ back the next day. We had 1 towel and 1 bath cloth. The room was so small, we had to stack our luggage. The bathroom tub was dirty. This was the worse stay ever Price, staff, cleanliness and the bed had sink in the mattress.
- 3.5/5
Staff: Super friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Location: Excellent spot with a really nice view. Severe elevator delays and tiny rooms. Avoid if you have lots of luggage. With only two small elevators and no staff elevator, checkout was a nightmare—it took us 20+ minutes to get down from the 15th floor. The room and bathroom were exceptionally small, and the A/C was far too noisy to leave on at night.

Very convenient to stay before a cruise. Beds were comfortable and great location to walk to the marina for dinner and drinks, or there's a restaurant right in hotel. The bathroom was very small, but functional and fine for a night. I would stay here again.

The hotel is located in a very nice area. Good recovery after a disappointing check -in experience with Litzy . Noise issue at first , but excellent service recovery by Julie . Julie made the difference! On May 11 2026 , the hotel placed an $800 damage deposit hold on my credit card ( $100 per night for my eight - night stay ) .The charge appeared on my credit card statement on May 12 2026 . I have a receipt from the hotel showing that I owe nothing , including both the debit and credit for this amount , with a final balance of 0.00 . However , despite having documentation confirming that NO amount is due , I have still NOT received the $800 back on my credit card as today May 19 , 2026 . This situation remains unresolved and has been very frustrating . Despite receiving documentation showing a zero balance and no outstanding charges , the funds have not been returned to my credit card .

There were no breakfast included. Expedia says there is, once you are on the property, YVE hotel employee told me that there was not breakfast package purchased. Also, I am disputig a charge for a dinner that we did not consume. I am calli g the hotel, but nobody answers the phone. This is a so called "tourist trap". I can't recommend it to anyone.

The room needed upgrades. The bathroom door seemed to have water damage and would not close. Was okay for one night before cruising on Carnival.

- 0.5/5
Location Small, no wash clothes, had to come back to the front desk to get them , elevators very small
- 3/5
The location and the restaurant The lift was not sufficient for such a high building and number of guests. We were stuck on the 15th floor with our luggage!
- 5/5
Went to go into my room, door was jammed really bad but they got security up there ASAP and decided it was best to change rooms so I was moved immediately and in a different room. The view wasn’t the same, but it’s not a huge gripe to me. Due to this issue of a missed bay view, I asked if it was possible to get a complimentary late check out and the lady took care of me no issue. I couldn’t be happier with my stay. I don’t expect perfection, and any issues were addressed promptly and respectfully. I’ll be staying here again when I’m in Miami!
- 5/5
All fine , normal
- 2/5
Right across the street from CVS and close to the cruise port. The unfriendly staff except the one black guy.
- 4/5
I was impressed by the Hotel, the view is amazing in my bedroom. The beds were perfect, confortable and able o fit my entire family. Crib was not needed after seeing the size of bed. I am not sure if is Miami in general or the region where the hotel is located, but a lof of people asking for money, smoking weed (not nice, specially when you are walking around with 2/5 yo kids).
- 4/5
Clean room comfortable bed. Bathroom was tiny and walls thin.
- 1/5
Very bad experience they used my credit card without my permission

My reservation was for a king-size bed. When I arrived at the hotel, I received two full-size beds. I had to go back downstairs because the room they first gave me had a dirty carpet. It looked like no one had cleaned the end tables or the dresser. It wasn’t what I expected from the pictures. When I went back to ask about my king-size bed, the front desk gave me the correct room. Still, I wouldn’t book with them again.
- 2/5
Not what I expected.
- 1/5
Disgusting and poorly managed and maintained. Dirty bedding, door kicked in, dirty bathroom, broken bed
- 1/5
It was trash left for the previous people no washcloths no microwave no refrigerator. Bathroom is the size of a closet overpriced
- 5/5
Room was nice clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Very clean all around. Very nice
- 2/5
Elevator was slow, like 5-10 minutes slow. Leave early to get anywhere. Smelled like mould in the hallways.
- 3/5
Mostly things were good but took forever to bring a blanket 1 day and we never received towels the other day
- 1/5

It was good for the short stay that we had. Wouldn’t stay longer than a couple days. Pretty average overall.
- 5/5
The room was wonderful mn
- 4/5
Air conditioning was awesome, so was the staff!! Beds could use an upgrade and rooms could be cleaned more frequently. Great downtown location!!
- 5/5
Clean, staff was welcoming before entering, A.C very good. Everything was good but the size of the room could be a bit bigger than the one I stayed, window was very small but at least there was a window.
- 2/5
No water pressure, no full length mirrors
- 4/5
It was OK
- 4/5
The location was great. Air conditioning was awesome. Staff were lovely and helpful. View was great. Some of the sheets were lightly stained. The bedroom curtains were heavily stained, curious on how they got so stained. The body wash dispenser was almost empty and also broken. Aside from those things, the place was nice, we had a good night and stay. Wished we could have participated in their activities!
- 4/5
When asked for manage’s contact, she told that it can’t be given, and I can see him/her tomorrow. But he will come after you checked out.
- 3/5
- 5/5
Nice stay! The room was cold and clean. Across the street from Bayside Marina and close to Kaseya Arena. Very nice staff from the valet parking to the check in/out.
- 3/5
The room was disgusting, carpet smelled horrible, curtain stain and no quilt. The bathroom is so small one person barely fit. Don’t recommend.
- 1/5
The night front staff was rude and not helpful. When we asked if the bath towel was refresh.. they said you go back to room to find out. Can't even ask for a cup of ice And when calling from room, no one pick up and the call was ringing for 8 min until I gave up.. and it was just around 8pm, which normally that's when front desk should be still available. They dont tell you the Hidden amenity fees until you check in, which at that point, you can't say no, and what it offers is what you would normally expect to get from the two star hotel free of charge. The only good thing I would say about this is the location. Other than that dont expect much
- 1/5
There was blood stains on our sheets Dust everywhere Dirt everywhere 0/10 DONT COME HERE
- 5/5
Hotel has been updated. Good AC, clean room. I really liked the smell in lobby. Friendly staff, Rooms and bathrooms are big and bed is comfortable. Pillows not so much. Pet friendly, that's a plus. Location 10/10 no self.parking just Valet. But there are plenty of public parkings around if you want to save some $$ Breakfast is NOT included. Restaurant in lobby is a ripoff. Almost 20 dollars for a cuban coffee and an orange juice. And coffee was cold.. Very Good overall.
- 2/5
Only pro - perfect location. Hotel rooms need a serious makeover. Floor carpet just nasty. Bed needs replacing. Lamp kept flickering, I had to unscrew the bulb. AC unit super loud and in weird position. Pay a few extra bucks and stay somewhere else. Food was overpriced and just mediocre. Bartender was good.
- 4/5
We were only given one room key. You have to go downstairs to get washcloths and hand towels. The bar staff were very friendly and the food was good.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful and caring. Rooms were clean.
- 5/5

I’m a return customer to the YVE hotel… they have a bar and Grill in their lobby called Celia‘s and I was very presently surprised to see that Xavier still works there. He makes amazing drinks. The food is great and the hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Would stay there again and refer this hotel to friends and family in a heartbeat. very happy with my stay at the YVE hotel thank you very much Carla
- 2/5
The bathroom was tiny, no room between the toilet and sink. No washcloths in the room. Also the images of the junior suite I chose, did not match the room we were given. The elevator was very slow, and small- pad in an extra 5-10 minutes getting to the main floor. Overall decent hotel location, wouldn’t want to be in the room any longer than I had to.
- 2/5
The shower was dirty and the beds were incredibly uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Great location. Good vibe. Wonderful stagf
- 3/5
Air construction wasn't working well the room is so warm.
- 3/5
I didn’t like that they did not have any wash clothes
- 3/5
Hotel outdated, Room was not clean, only 2 elevators created traffic amongst incoming and outgoing guests, appreciated proximity to stores/mall
- 2/5
The room was filthy and had not properly been cleaned. There was bobby pins and hair clips in the bathroom. There was a distinct smell of old water throughout the hallways.
- 2/5
Yes its across bayside
- 1/5
The bathroom was smaller than the closet. There was no counter space and it was barely room to turn around.
- 2/5
Breakfast was not included. So that was bad news for us. I don't know who is at fault of this wrong information: Expedia or YVE hotel.
- 1/5
I’ve stayed here before and always had good experiences, so this visit was disappointing. My room was noticeably smaller than last year’s, and the AC made loud noises throughout the night, which made it hard to rest. I’m sharing this feedback in hopes that the hotel can improve room conditions for future guests.
- 3/5
Staff was very nice!
- 2/5
The bathroom is also the smallest bathroom I've ever seen- you can sit on the toilet, brush your teeth over the sink, and turn on the shower all at once. I was fortunate as other members of my party had to go on a hunt for toilet paper (none in the room) as well as shampoo and soap (none in the dispensers).
- 3/5
When we checked in , had to ask for towels twice, no body wash in the washroom. Staff wasn’t very friendly
- 3/5
Location was great for one night before cruise and the park across the street and the river walk are close by. Was a cheap option so bare bones was expected. Bathroom was comically small and AC in the room a bit loud but other than that the place did its job. We were also warned about slow elevator service around checkout times but luckily we were on low floor so stairs were an option.
- 5/5
Overall is ok

Bring your own tissues, towels, shower curtains, a shower curtain rod maybe, toiletries, coffee maker, coffee.. just about anything you need. Complete rip-off

The room was not overly clean. The sink and toilet was clean but the walls were dirty and the tub was not usable for a bath shower only but no body wash or conditioner and the toilet paper holder kept falling apart .Thank goodness the linens were very clean on the bed and the beds were comfortable . Our coffee maker didn’t work either . There was nowhere to sit and eat in your room or in the hotel lobby . Even though there were tables inside the lobby , security would only allow sitting there no eating or drinking. I found the staff we arrived with where unfriendly and didn’t really care to help you but the receptionist we had when leaving was amazing.
- 4/5
It was a good place to stay the night before our cruise. We were unable to get enough linen for our beds. Staff was friendly, there jus aren’t enough elevators for the rooms they have
- 2/5
The lobby is tiny and they do not want you to lounge in there, they have ice on only three floors. Honestly we did not have a fun stay and will not come back.

- 4/5
Sometimes the elevator took forever, so I used the stairs. The carpet was frayed; tv channels were limited; room was well cleaned but staff did leave coffee Keurigs; I had to ask for more Keurigs; I would have liked a mini fridge; the phone in the room did not work, I asked for someone to look at it, but no one came to fix it. Price was reasonable for that area.
- 3/5
Cons: room was small and the bathroom was so so so small you couldn’t move. Upon checkin the bathtub was dirty, the drain plug was broken and the surround had hair that was definitely not ours. Air conditioning was crazy loud. We booked the 10:00 shuttle to the cruise port for the following day and nothing was mentioned about lack of elevators or difficulty getting one. Then got a text the next morning shorty before 10 saying elevators can be busy and to allow yourself some extra time. We waited on the 9th floor for 15 minutes and spoke to other people that had been waiting for 45 minutes. We finally opted to take the stairs with all of our luggage so we wouldn’t miss the shuttle. The stairs are old concrete and scuffed up all of our new luggage. When we got to the bottom we got shuffled outside to the heat to catch the shuttle and then waited 35-40 minutes in the heat for the shuttle to arrive. Customers were angry with all the chaos and staff were angry and snappy as well. Simple questions were answered with snappy rude responses. Unless you get a super good price for this hotel and are prepared to take the stairs during your stay in the peak hours, I do not recommend booking this hotel.
- 1/5
Definitely not worth the price! Felt like I was sleeping in a motel
- 2/5
The first room was gross. The floors clearly had not been cleaned, the headboard was peeling, the shower was molding, and the door didn’t deadbolt. I called and texted staff multiple times with no response. Eventually I was able to move rooms and it was minimally improved. The new room was cleaner, but with a weird stain on the mattress protector, dingy bathroom, no chair, floor stains, and more. Had it not been late, I would have left. The staff is neither rude nor friendly. More apparently without care for customer service. The whole property desperately needs a facelift. On the upside, if you appreciate the ability to sit on the toilet, brush your teeth over the sink, and turn on the shower all at once- this could be for you. The toilet paper roll is behind you as a result of the very, very small space. If I had booked multiple nights, I’d cancel. The other parties in my group reported the same conditions- except they had to go on hunts for toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap- all which had dispensers in the bathroom. Loud and grimy, this was a motel experience. I will not be staying again. Even my ride share was like “yeah, you’re not the first to say that.”
- 2/5
Upon arrival, there were two ladies at the front desk, the shorter one wasn’t friendly at all, she was very cold and standoff-ish. The hotel is very old and rundown. Glad we only needed to stay for a night. Definitely not worth the price. Now to the room, the AC works that’s for sure but it SO OBNOXIOUSLY LOUDDD!!! We called down to the front desk and asked for extra blankets, they said they couldn’t get us any because the laundry staff was gone for the day. That’s absurd service. What hotel cannot access more blanket/towels. The room was dirty. The bathroom is smaller than my closet. One of the beds was lopsided. Just a very rundown old hotel. I wouldn’t recommend anyone here. The hotel restaurant is insanely overpriced. $18 for 6 wings, wowwww, insane!!!

- 3/5
We were charged an unexpected US$84.75 for “early check-in” — something we never requested. We arrived a little after 1:00 PM, were simply told the room was ready, and were given access. There was absolutely no mention of any extra fee at the time. Had this been clearly communicated, we would have gladly waited until the standard 4:00 PM check-in. Instead, the hotel is now hiding behind fine print on a registration card to justify the charge. Relying on guests to catch hidden fees in paperwork — without verbally informing them — is misleading and feels dishonest. Transparency should be the bare minimum in hospitality. While they acknowledged it wasn’t clearly communicated, they still refused to reverse the charge. That says a lot about how little they value customer trust. Be very careful staying here — what seems like a simple check-in could come with hidden costs.
- 3/5
The bathroom was extremely small and the view was not good, it was directly into the apartments/rooms of the building across the street.
- 5/5
Clean rooms easy access to anything you need. Valet parking was easy.
- 4/5
Older hotel...smelled like past water damage but good location to local restaurants and liked the fact they hold your luggage before check in

- 5/5
Nice place to stay walking distance to a lot of nice places and restaurants
- 5/5
The breakfast was alright.
- 2/5
The staff were very friendly and helpful; however, the facilities leave much to be desired. The rooms lacked basic amenities such as shower gel, and the overall decor felt outdated and in need of an upgrade. Additionally, there are only two elevators, and during our stay, one was out of service. This led to long wait times, with queues forming just to reach or leave the rooms. At one point, guests had to walk up the stairs—my family and I, for example, had to climb nine flights to reach our room.

- 5/5
Good place to stay before a cruise
- 5/5
Friendly staff, looked after us
- 3/5
We stood overnight in preparation for a cruise. The rooms were clean but very small. Overall Stay was pleasant but would not stay here more than one night. Close to stores, port of Miami and walking distance to park.
- 1/5
Para el precio no muy bueno
- 4/5
Excellent location to the cruise terminals. Decor a little tired, but no issues with cleanliness. Will stay again.
- 4/5
Convenient location
- 2/5
Rooms, elevator and amenities need an upgrade
- 3/5
Bathroom way too small. Elevators took too long.
- 2/5
BEWARE, by booking through a third-party website, the YVE charges you an EXTRA $28.25 “amenity fee” after you have completed your stay. They DO NOT tell you this unless you call to inquire about the charge on your card. That fee covers the 2 “complimentary” bottles of water. It surely didn’t cover clean sheets (we found stains on the sheets at the foot of the bed AFTER the night’s sleep). The elevator was broken—we were on the 6th floor hauling luggage up by myself with 3 children. The on-site restaurant for breakfast was $32 per person for the very simple buffet (cereal, fruit, bacon, some eggs and coffee/tea). We will not be back. Yes, it is close to Miami’s metro rail and a short Uber/Taxi to the cruise port, but not worth the price.
- 4/5
Room was clean but very tight/small and the bathroom was very tiny! But every one was nice and welcoming. Great area! Easy access to the cruises
- 4/5
The staff are very serviceable the Hotel is near many places and if you go on cruise, ita about 5 mins. Awesome.
- 3/5
I apologize, I usually don’t rate, however, I feel like people should be aware. We found the lobby music quite loud (all hours). The room had no facecloths, hand towels, bath mat, and only 1 large towel. There were no staff around to ask for an extra towel or anything needed. The room was quite dated and the headboard was all scratched up like an animal had gotten to it. 😬 Unfortunately, this is not the place for me. It served us the purpose we needed for 1 night.
- 4/5
Clean rooms. Small but doable. The elevators were annoying. Too small and Very slow with a mind of their own.
- 1/5
The room was not what was advertised. The bathroom was very small and difficult to maneuver. The entire building only has two elevators which took at least twenty minutes just to get to the lobby at check out time. I would not recommend this hotel especially with this high price charged.
- 5/5
The property was very nice and clean and a great location
- 3/5
Miami port, shops and restaurants nearby.
- 1/5
The room was not clean. There were no towels. There is no shuttle. The breakfast was expensive and nasty.
- 1/5
Small room, bathroom is tiny, not sure why there isn't a blanket
- 4/5
Rooms were very small coffee pots didn’t work. No chair in the room
- 2/5
Room 508 - I wanted to leave immediately after check-in. Toe nails, human hair and general filthy carpet in the entire room. Bathroom was even worse, no hand towels, no wash cloth, tub was cracked and had stains in several areas. Lighting fixtures have visible rust in bathroom and by nightstand. It is clear that NO EFFORT is being made for upkeep of this property. Location was great. Building needs to be torn down and replaced ASAP.
- 3/5
There was a dripping hole in the top of our bathroom near the toilet. There is no curtain for the shower so water goes everywhere!
- 5/5
Staff was excelente
- 2/5
Rooms are tiny, staff is unmotivated, elevators are a disaster.
- 4/5
Got the job done. Close to the cruise port. Very close to a cool park and mall with anything you could want for food and shopping. Room cost is fair price for the area. If you’re looking for more than a clean and adequate place to stay, feel free to pay way more at other places. This place worked fine for us. Parking is a tad steep price-wise but there aren’t many options in the area. Will definitely use again on our next cruise. Staff was courteous and genuine.
- 2/5
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the stay was going to be a challenge. The front desk ladies seemed put off by us, but we tried to brush it off. However, when we returned to our room after a day out, we were shocked to find that it hadn't been cleaned. We had specifically chosen this hotel because Expedia's website promised daily housekeeping. When we questioned the front desk, they claimed that we should have requested housekeeping services in advance. The manager's explanation that housekeeping hours are from 7 AM to 9 PM and that they were short-staffed only added to our frustration. As paying customers, we expected our room to be maintained as promised. The front desk's offer of a discount was a hollow gesture, and the apology message they sent was too little, too late.
- 1/5
We figured by the time we came back, the room would be cleaned. We walked into the room and 1 bed was made but the other bed was not finished. Checked the bathroom and still NO toilet paper. We had to go find housekeeping on other floors to get a roll. REALLY? Night time is noisy with the loud music from the restaurant downstairs. There was also construction going on across the street in the morning. The only positive is the location. There is a CVS across the street and restaurants a couple blocks over. And you can store your luggage in the lobby if you have a late flight. But I would not book again. Housekeeping needs a lot of improvement.
- 3/5
Room was nice but very small. The smalles bathroom ive ever seen. No blow dryer in yhe room. I had to wait for someone to bring me one. For the cost, it was not worth it.
- 3/5
They only have one elevator we wait 25 minutes to go down at the checkout
- 3/5
Ok
- 5/5
Great amenities and the staff are wonderful
- 1/5
Absolutely terrible! No washcloths in our room and they ran outvthe next morning. The rooms were dirty and the tub was filthy. Customer service was okay, but they didn't care that we had no wash cloths! Never will I stay there again.
- 4/5
I am giving it a 4 star for the lady who checked me in was very nice. The room didn't have any draws to put my stuff only a closet and my refrigerator did not work. I called maintainace and he did come and help but it stopped and I did not want to call him back. The room was small for me, it looked bigger in photo. It was clean and I did have a nice view of the Bayfront area
- 3/5
Not as pictured. Pretty run down. The pictures must’ve been taken awhile ago.
- 5/5
Great place to stay the night if your cruising out of Miami. Very clean and updated. The staff was great, check in was quick. The offer a shuttle to the port for a small fee. About the same as an Uber. The restaurant on site was excellent!!! 1 drawback was the size of the room. A bit tight, but for 2 people it worked. Will be back if we cruise again out of Miami.
- 1/5
Room was in horrible condition.
- 3/5
The elevator was extremely slow. We were charged a huge amount for a so-called "penthouse" room which was very, very small and contained two beds that were barely doubles. The room was clean but there wasn't enough rooms in the bathroom to turn around. Very disappointing. We did ask for a later checkout and were given one.
- 2/5
The room was VERY loud, with mechanical noise coming from the vent in the ceiling.
- 2/5
Small space, loud noise from idk where, most likely the ac/heater pipe.
- 3/5
Room was fine. Nothing exceptional about it or the check in process. It was expensive for what you received. One elevator to service all rooms. It was a good location for the downtown area and what we needed due to the Miami marathon happening the morning we needed to leave for cruise.
- 2/5
The washroom floor was very sticky; elevators were not working well and
- 2/5
It took me two hours just to get some face towels then the bed was so un even that I was literally sinking into the mattress
- 3/5
Musty smell like it had been flooded but comfortable otherwise. High fan AC created white noise for traffic. The mandatory fees were noticeably a cash grab.I slept here for convenience but I would not "stay" here.
- 3/5
Room was small. Needs some update. It did its job though for an overnight before cruise being so close to port. Staff friendly.
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
Good location
- 4/5
The room was adequate for my one night stay prior to my cruise
- 2/5
Hotel is dated. The elevator situation is a HOLY nightmare. Fifteen floors of room and two small elevators. We were on the 15th floor and every time the elevator got to our floor, it was packed. We ended up taking 15 flights of stairs with our suitcases after having three elevator full experiences. The concierge lady is rude as well. The only great experience was the security guard who watched our luggage. Very nice, very helpful and very organized
- 3/5
The room was in good condition and staff was courteous. However for the price the room it was very small and I would never have booked a room that you could not even see outside. Actually I have never seen that before. Also the washroom was crazy small. You could sit on the toilet and wash your hands in the sink at the same time.
- 1/5
Motel 6 quality at Miami Prices this is your place

Amenities and near everything
- 4/5
The A/C of the room was not working properly. After a first night they had to change us to another room. The second room has an A/C that was not as Bad as the first one but not fine. They can improve the cleaning of the rooms and the attention of the staff.

Will NEVER stay here again.

The place was Great , Room was clean loved the location every place the I wanted to go was walking distance . The Celia’s restaurant was very good as wall .. definitely will stay there again .

Good morning
- 1/5
charged over $1000 dollars for the landlord special. awful room, small, smelled bad, paint all over floor/carpet
- 3/5
Bathroom was very different from the photos. Tub vs walk in shower. As expected, smaller room. Shuttle to the port is not necessary, just grab a Uber or taxi for $25. Port is very well organized even with six ships.
- 1/5
No heat supperrrr hot in room A/c wasnt working
- 4/5
Is good
- 4/5
Remember- no parking so there a added charge of $52 a night at parking garage
- 2/5
The room was very small and someone had peed on the toilet seat. When we asked to have the toilet cleaned we were told there was no cleaning staff so we would need to wait until the next morning. Since we only had one wash cloth for two people I requested additional wash cloths so I could clean the toilet. There are only two small elevators for 17 floors of people so after waiting a long time on check out day we had to carry our luggage down the back stairs!
- 4/5
Very helpful the security guard.
- 2/5
You need to change the mattres. The mattres had a hole, I slept super badly
- 3/5
Room definitely looks dated and not the cleanest. Stayed here post cruise. Best thing is the location.
- 1/5
The room was not clean. The bed and furniture had stains. The elevators take forever and the staff didn't understand a lot of English.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful and courteous, transportation to the cruise port was very streamlined.
- 3/5
Great location for pre-cruise overnight stay. Room was dated. Toilet seat was broken, had to ask for towels for bathroom. Staff was helpful and assisted promptly.
- 1/5
Room was dirty. No towels or face clothes . Carpet was clearly not vacuumedToilet paper roll was in living room intead of washroom. No where to hang a towel. They dont tell you consierge is a third party so your paying more for there services. Attempted to talk to cleaning staff who clearly didnt speak english. Couldnt even get a cup of hot coffee!
- 3/5
We were only staying in Miami for one night. Upon arrival. Was able to check in easily. Our room was missing the coffee maker. And the beds were extremely wore out! The worst beds I've ever slept in in a hotel. However, the restaurant attached to the hotel was amazing.
- 5/5
clean, but some water (puddle) on the window pane
- 1/5
I paid extra to book a suite expecting a higher-quality experience and a decent view. Instead, I was given a room with a horrible view, which completely defeats the purpose of paying more. Every time I asked to switch rooms, I was told to “check back tomorrow.” This happened multiple times. It was just excuse after excuse with no real attempt to fix the situation. The worst part? The room was filthy. I found what appeared to be blood on my blanket. That is beyond unacceptable — it’s disgusting and a serious health concern. I reported it immediately and had to ask TWICE before anything was done. The receptionist showed zero urgency and didn’t seem to care at all. For a hotel charging suite prices, the cleanliness and customer service are completely unacceptable. Between the unsanitary conditions, dismissive staff, and false promises about room availability, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Do not waste your money here unless you’re okay with poor service and questionable hygiene standards

Everything was just ok. Room, service, elevators
- 1/5
I booked a king room. When I got there I was given a double. I asked about it and the front desk woman said oh we overbooked so we upgraded you. It was NOT an upgrade to sleep on a smaller bed. Also, I was given a free drink coupon and 9:48pm and told the restaurant closed at 10. I got back down at 9:52 and they had locked the doors. Also, charging an amenity fee for basic things like WiFi and workout room is not a good business practice. I didn’t have my free 2 bottles of water in my room either. I will say another front desk person was very helpful and printed a luggage tag for me.

- 2/5
The room was filthy. Pillow cases were dirty.
- 2/5
The room was disappointing. There is no coffee machine even though it’s expected in most hotels. The bathroom exhaust fan is not working. There is a visible stain on the curtain and there were hairs on the blanket, which made the room feel unclean. Also, the hotel description did not mention a $50 security deposit in advance, which should be clearly stated for guests. In addition, the hotel charges $28 per day for cleaning, but judging by the condition of the room, it felt like I paid for nothing

The staff at the front desk and at the restaurant were friendly and helpful with tips for our trip of the local/close stuff to do near by. Will recommend for sure.
- 4/5
Very nice and helpful staff, clean room, great location.
- 3/5
Staff, location and clean was perfect… But I wont stay again. Window to high that you can see out, carpet ripped, uneven floor in the room.
- 5/5
Room was small but clean
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. Second time in the hotel in the same room 1401. Planning on coming back this year and next year!! Thank you!!
- 2/5
This hotel is outdated and needs serious tlc. The only place that may have been updated is the lobby which is chic and lively. The rooms could definitely use some deep cleaning, getting the dust and dirt from the baseboards and additional lighting wouldn’t hurt. This is definitely a first and last time for staying there, The Elser up the block is a much much better option.
- 3/5
Rooms were ok for a night before our cruise. Room didn’t seem very clean, tv was disconnected. Coffee maker was missing.

AND NO ADDITIONAL ROOMS WERE AVAILBE TO MOVE INTO. UNABLE TO GET SUPPORT FROM THE FRONT DESK WE CHECKED OUT THE SAME DAY . STILL SEEKING COMPENSATION THANK YOU

I dont normally leave bad reviews but I will leave an honest one. I gave this room 3 stars 1 year after leaving 5 stars because this time they knew there were going to be 4 people in this room but the phones did not work to order linen and pillows for the sofa bed or even extra towels. In addition we paid for extra for a room for the pier to only show us a bush/tree. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING for the amount of money we spent for a 4 person room with a bay view. All in All the room was clean vut i wouldn't recommend more than 1 night.
- 1/5
We were told at first the early check in was $100 extra!!! Outdated room, uncomfortable bed and no fridge!
- 2/5
If you just need a bed to sleep, this will do. Otherwise the bathroom was filthy and falling apart. The shower and sink were deteriorated. All the towels in my room smelled like they had been washed in cooking oil and the tub drain was broken.
- 4/5
Staff was good, roomed seemed like it had t been cleaned
- 3/5
Clean room, friendly staff, no frills. If you need a clean place to sleep with a good location near the cruise terminals, and not looking for resort style amenities, YVE Hotel Miami should work for you.
- 2/5
The room was outdated. I had to go down to Customer Service for towels, and the tiles had cracks in the floor, and the carpet looked filthy like it hasn’t been cleaned in years.
- 2/5
The only good thing is location
- 3/5
Definitely needs a good thorough deep cleaning from the hallways and definitely into the rooms
- 3/5
Stay was okay. Did not like the dirty wet towel in the bathroom. Had to call for service but no one came. I like the location of the hotel though.
- 3/5
Our room didn’t have wash cloths or bottled water as promised. The ice machine was broken on our floor, leaving us to travel 5 floors for a cup of ice water.
- 2/5
Tiny cramped room. Horrible bathroom, and very bad smell.
- 2/5
Good morning Room for 4 people with 2 towels, 1 soap, 2 bottles of water. The electrical outlets don't work, the refrigerator is off, the air conditioning is very noisy and terrible. Two full-size beds. I didn't like it; I paid a lot for the room.Geralda Amancio
- 1/5
Room was nothing like pics. Shower curtain had holes all in it. Bathroom door had to be forced closed. AC was LOUD LOUD! Room had a funky smell.
- 2/5
Bathroom was smaller than a cruise ship
- 4/5
The room was clean, comfy and I always enjoy this hotel, but this time there were a couple of hang-ups that could've been handled easily. It took me 2 requests to get an ironing board delivered and I really needed it to be pressed for a meeting. I requested more body soap and never received it so I gave up and bathed with shampoo which ran out as well. I normally give the hotel 5 stars but these are the reasons I won't this time.

- 5/5
The rooms were nice and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Hotel was full in the lobby, didn’t take much time to check in. Room was decent with comfortable beds.
- 2/5
We requested cream and decaf coffee from the front desk, it never arrived. The room was small, the view was the wall of the next building,. The carpet is very very old, no full size mirror, small one in the bathroom. I expected more for the price I paid for. Don't pictures fool you! Don't book with this hotel. The only good thing, its across Bayside and good sandwich at Celia's restaurant.
- 3/5
The bathroom is the smallest hotels bathroom i even seen

由于是旅游中心地段,想中午前check in 很难。

Arrived after a long day of traveling and was informed they had a “deficit” of rooms. Was offered an alternative hotel 15 minutes away. I wasn’t willing to pay another Uber 15 minutes away without compensation. Luckily he offered another hotel only a block away which was more acceptable. Will never book this place again.
- 3/5
The security was very professional and very nice. No rating for breakfast because I didn’t have one from the hotel, but they have a microwave so I was able to warm up my food which was very nice.
- 5/5
The staff very kind, the room was clean and organized, the AC a little noisy but keeps the room nice. This is the second time we rent this property on December 31st and we recommend it; you can spend a wonderful End year eve around this area. Safe and emotional and YVE Hotel is a perfect place for a perfect zone.
- 5/5
Great area
- 3/5
courteous staff, good views from my room. The hotel needs some maintenance, but convenient if you want to be within walking distance to everything.
- 3/5
Hotel was okay. My biggest issues were parking- you’ll spend $50-$120 just for the night and then walk to the hotel with all the luggage. I would think the hotel would work out certain rates with garages but the front desk acted like it was weird for a car to park, and I was stuck driving around rate shopping for an hour. The other issue was the elevator being tiny (5) med size people at most, and vary over worked. We took the stairs 90% of the time 14 floors up and 14 floors down.
- 5/5
We were very pleased with our room assignment.
- 1/5
Room was dirty- front desk check in was not helpful- elevator waited 15 minutes
- 2/5
Room was extremely small no space to move. Bathroom was horrible, toilet and sink on top of each other. You could hear everything in the hallways. Waiting for the elevator took over 20 minutes whether going up to room or leaving.
- 2/5
Everything was tired and drab. Mattress was in such bad condition that it was totally sunken in the middle. Just a terrible experience
- 1/5
Room was dirty. Was told amenities was 22 dollars including water WiFi and gym , I made sure not to use these, I was not told I would automatically be charged, just the price to use amenities . I was charged 25 dollars. TV had no signal. Check in time was to be at 4 , front desk told me to come back at 5 or 5:30.
- 1/5
I book a king bedroom room when I arrive to the hotel they gave me a regular room and I went to the front desk they can’t not anything about it.
- 1/5
Rooms are pretty bad, just needed to stay here for a night before a cruise and eek made us look into other options. Wife felt like she was a jail cell bathroom.
- 2/5
breakfast not in time, lack of service...
- 3/5
However, the cleaning lady forgot to provide the extra bedding in the first place for both rooms. She also forgot to return the toilet trash bin after cleaning on the second day and forgot to organize the bed for one room. The mechanical guy entered our room without asking, he thought that the room was vacant. How could that happen?
- 1/5
Elevators were slow or broken & there’s only two in the whole hotel. Bathrooms are so small only one person could get ready at the time. King room so so small. Could not get water. Could not get anyone at front desk because line was always so long. Two different rooms in our party had ac out the whole time with 80 degree temps. Bed slept nice & staff were great. Otherwise avoid this hotel.
- 4/5
Yes
- 1/5
The room and bathroom were terrible. There was hair in the tub as if it wasn’t cleaned and stains on the rug. The AC made a loud noise when it was on, so you couldn’t sleep. I will never stay at this hotel again!
- 1/5
The hotel was dirty and we booked double beds because we had our two children. They put us all in one bed king size several customers had the same problem and they did nothing about it.
- 1/5
Worst service I have ever experienced at a hotel. I requested sheets for a sofa bed more then three times until I had to go to the front desk and request them again. The hotel smelled terrible and cleaning was not great. The housekeepers seemed lazy at their job. I left my jacket in the room after I checked out and realized on my way to the airport and they let me know it was not in the room when both my husband and I know it was left on the bed. Do not stay at this hotel.
- 4/5
I stayed overnight for a cruise the next day. Perfect location, transportation to the port if needed and CVS for last minute items right across the street! Perfect location for the port!
- 3/5
It’s in a great area. We could walk to Pier 5 and the view was very beautiful from our room.
- 4/5
The location is convenient. Be prepared to park blocks away from the hotel. Its outdated but fine because the location was good.
- 1/5
The fine print left me feeling taken advantage of. An extra $25 service charge is ridiculous for the quality of room: it is somewhat clean, but definitely not maintained, and barely resembles the pictures. I was in contact with their staff through text since yesterday, but when I arrived my room was not available and they gave me somehting else. Then they temp you with a"free drink" ticket which ends up being a BOGO or when ordering food. Will not return.
- 5/5
Great stay as always highly recommended
- 3/5
The area around the hotel was convenient due to it being downtown and around many excursions and restaurants. This was a last minute booking so room was available in orderly timing but did not get all towels and rags we requested. Need mattresses was really hard. Tv did not work
- 1/5
AC was broke the whole time. We had staff come look at it 3 different times and it would turn off right after they would leave so we barely slept. Trying to sleep with no AC was miserable. My sons bed had a hole it in so he had to sleep on one side. The bathroom was ridiculously small you could barely move and having no ac just made it worse. I don’t ever write reviews but this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I do not recommend.
- 4/5
Room was good enough for a one night stay..
- 1/5
This place has been bugs, and no on site parking. Stay away
- 4/5
Did not have breakfast.Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.A/C work fine.10 out of 10 I'll give it a 9.The YVE Hotel is our favorite to go to when we are in Miami FL.

- 1/5
On the positive side, the lobby and common areas were clean, and the location was excellent,no complaints there. However, the washroom was terrible. It was extremely small, and the overall condition was very poor. We stayed on the third floor, and there was a lot of noise throughout our stay. It sounded like constant banging, possibly coming from the ceiling or the central AC vent in our room. This noise made it very difficult for both my wife and me to sleep during the two nights we stayed. The room itself was very small, and the bed was in bad condition. There were noticeable marks on the bedsheets. At that point, we were too exhausted to complain, especially since we were already struggling to sleep because of the noise. Overall, while the location was great, the room size, noise issues, bed condition, and especially the washroom were very disappointing, and I would not recommend staying here.
- 5/5
It was excellent.
- 5/5
Was ok
- 5/5
Awesome hotel for the value. In walking distance to everything
- 2/5
Thank you for reaching out. I personally don't feel as the pictures on Expedia is a clear representation of the hotel room so I am disappointed. - We received one facecloth. - one of the waters provided is open - bathroom door handle has some sort of sunscreen or oil all over it (so not cleaned) All they said was thank you for bringing it to my attention- yet they didn’t even try to make it better. Very disappointing.
- 2/5
Separated the kids to different level despite requesting if we can have on same level. Check in staff should practice smile on the face. Room also had shower handle broken and next morning shink could not drain water. It advertise parking onsite but theres no parking at all
- 5/5
Staff great. Helped me by taking luggage to and from room. Very clean, quiet comfortable and new Claudia's restaurant fantastic! Great location. Love staying there. One thing missing though, a face washcloth with towels
- 3/5
Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet our expectations. The photos are much better than the actual condition. The building feels old and not well maintained, with signs of wear that paint alone can’t hide. Our room felt very enclosed, with only one window facing the inner part of the building, which made the space feel quite uncomfortable. Glad that we were only there for a night.
- 2/5
Wont be staying there again.
- 1/5
This hotel was absolute trash in my opinion started at checking in. There’s no parking then in the rooms were smelly no water pressure very small rooms no hot water. Coffee machine didn’t work and didn’t have a mini fridge and we had to pay resort fees for what though I don’t know, I would never stay there again
- 3/5
Great location and wonderful staff. The rooms could use some remodeling: new carport, shower, and bathroom sink. A towel rack would be inexpensive and convenient.
- 2/5
El hotel no es muy bueno cumple el objetivo pero en calidad y limpieza está muy por debajo
- 2/5
Nasty place.. not worth staying a single night. Unclean room, loud air conditioning.. nasty bathrooms and unclean beds and sheets..
- 1/5
This place was not what ai expected. When we checked in and went to our room and was dirty there was stains, pubic hairs, glitter and make up on the sheets and pillows. Night and able also was dirty with pubic hair and dirt. Bathtub was clogged and smelled like cigarettes. They changed the room when I complained but the new room still smelled like smoke and rugs was musty and sheets was stained . Would never recommend this place to anyone. Only good thing was that is was in a great location.
- 1/5
This is the 3rd time I stay at this hotel in 10 days, as the location is convenient for me. First time I got locked into my room! Second time the room smelled disgusting. This time I had no towels in the room. When I managed to get through the front desk I was told to come down and get them as there’s nobody to bring them up. Yet there were two people at the desk!
- 2/5
Before arriving, I called to ask about early check in. I was told my original room was not available early, but that I could check into a double bed room at no additional cost. When I arrived, a different front desk agent checked me in and failed to mention the room was handicapped accessible. I was also charged a 50 dollar early check in fee despite being told on the phone there would be no charge. The room was extremely outdated and disappointing. It felt more like a roadside motel than a hotel. There were paint stains on the carpet, a dingy window ledge, old basic furniture, peeling wallpaper, no refrigerator, and no towels or washcloths. The difference between the lobby and the guest rooms is night and day. I tried to overlook the issues since my stay was only two nights, but none of the ice machines worked except one on the 14th floor. The fitness center was also unusable with rusted, outdated equipment and limited functionality. After speaking with the front desk, I was moved to my original room, which was slightly better but still showed overall lack of upkeep. The location is great, but that is about the only positive. I would only recommend this hotel for a very short stay or if you do not plan on spending much time in the room. Be mindful of what you are paying for.
- 3/5
Areas for improvement include room amenities: only equipped with bath towels, no hand/wash cloths, only 1 trashcan, coffee maker was not working. Although the hotel was clean, I suggest serious attention to updating carpet and fixtures. Customer service training is needed for bell Staff. We checked our luggage while we waited for our room, the bell captain didn’t greet us, not talkative or and observed us handle our baggage. His only action was to hand us our ticket.
- 2/5
The room was very small, there was nowhere to walk, and they didn't even have a small refrigerator.
- 5/5
The stay was amazing. Great customer service location and more.
- 1/5
And the air conditioning is so noisy that I told you in the lobby if there was another room and the answer was we are going to send someone and after all the air in the rooms sound like that, then I do not recommend this hotel for the price I paid I could get something better in all aspects.
- 2/5
Carpet dirty, not refrigerator in the room, bathroom too little and bad smell, like dust. For the price, should have at least a continental breakfast for my family. Thanks
- 3/5
The room was comfy for the price, and the bed
- 3/5
Room was smelly, no microwave. Prime location and the website said there was parking and there wasn’t
- 3/5
Bathrooms pretty small
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
I agreed to price on hotel.com but was surprised by a $50 additional room fee for nothing in return. Air Condition was loud. There was no trash can in the room.
- 1/5
My room had a connected door to the room next door. I heard the snoring of the man sleeping there. I heard also the notices of his conversations with his girlfriend. Claudia, the receptionist arranged an expensive private transfer although I asked for a taxi. The bell boys are not helpful at all in carrying my bulky baggages. I will never stay there again
- 1/5
The 8th floor was molded they gave me a very tiny room where the bathroom was so small and smelly it took housekeeping 4 hours to come “clean” when all he did was spray snuggles air freshener from a spray bottle!! I had to complain to be treated correctly I was then moved to a fairly better room on the 6th floor! 8 floor is MOLDED!!!!
- 4/5
Room was clean ,staff is friendly, early check in was very convenient
- 5/5
Everything was in Fleek TIME.. THX
- 3/5
Staff was nice and accommodating, but the hotel is older and not in the best condition. Bathroom was cramped. Windows were screwed shut. Would have expected nicer accommodations for $300/night.
- 5/5
Yes very comfy and roomy and the staff accommodate me and my pregnant girlfriend. We will stay again..
- 5/5
I loved the area
- 3/5
The room was small but clean. There was no refrigerator, and barely enough space for a chair. The AC was noisy but functional. The staff were very nice and courteous. I received a text a couple of days before my stay from Claudia, who answered all my questions and provided all the information I needed before arriving. Kudos to Claudia! The hotel is in a great location near the Kaseya Center and walkable to downtown Miami. There is no on-site parking, but garages and lots are nearby. Check prices ahead of time; we used College Station Parking Garage. It's a one-night type hotel, adequate for a quick stay. =bta=

- 3/5
Small rooms and bathrooms, clean but out dated, poor services called for toliet paper and never received it. Luck we had our own wipes.
- 4/5
The location was great! Our room wasn’t clean (wrappers on the floor, coffee pot not restocked) but overall it was cute hotel.
- 4/5
Staff courteous. Room very basic. Shower and tub fixtures broken.
- 5/5
Excelent!
- 1/5
Horrible. I am never going back to this hotel. Staff was extremely rude. Rooms were also extremely small. I had to cancel my stay due to this invonveniences. No parking
- 3/5
Just was very plain in the room and the furniture seemed super cheap quality. Gave off hostel type vibes!
- 3/5
The bathrooms did not have ventilation. That was a turn off. It was great otherwise.
- 3/5
Ice machines on 7 & 10 not working. Tiny bathroom. Must turn sideways to get to shower/tub. Rusty light fixtures in bathroom. No facial tissue. No soap for bathroom sink, but can easily reach into the shower dispenser since bathroom so small. Beautiful view from street facing room , but when it came time to sleep curtains could not be closed. Phone in room not working. Extremely slow elevators. Frequent noises from hallway. Having stayed here before expected the same level conditions.
- 4/5
Spacious room. Good lighting. Great location
- 5/5
Staff very friendly and helpful and professional
- 5/5
We weren’t offered free breakfast. It was actually very expensive $87.00 for 3 people.
- 5/5
Staff was kind, professional and our stay was pleasant.
- 5/5
Great location fast check in.
- 4/5
Location location location. Staff was friendly. Room was out dated and didn't feel as clean as I hope. Pros: Walking distance to Bayside Mall, Restaurants, Marina, Park, CVS, Metromover and more. Also close to Cruise terminal
- 3/5
Hotel was dirty and i did not rcvd maid service. The elevators were horrendous, waited regularly 3-4 passes to be able to get on.
- 2/5
Elevators didn’t work Bad was dirty and uncomfy
- 5/5
YES YES, the Room extremely clean (daily), checking In & Out was smooth process. Staff very professional. Best location. Absolutely love it at YVE
- 3/5
I would like to first start off by saying the lobby and the staff was Great. The room was not prepared for a new guest. The bar of soap was used, no face towels, no iron board, coffee maker wasn't working and the television wasn't working and yes this was brought to staff attention and yet I was charged $20.00 for services. I would still recommend YVE but they need to make sure that rooms are ready for guest at check in
- 4/5
room nice missing towels in room. only 1 when booked for 2. They had no extra rags on stand by. Could be very low on staff. 1 of 2 elevators was out.
- 4/5
The room we were given was very spacious but loud. The AC unit was singing all night. Walls are thin too. The second elevator was out of service the whole time. Other than that it was cool and a perfectly convenient to downtown. Even was given two complimentary drinks for the bar downstairs. Would stay again. Everything is near by!
- 2/5
The room and bathroom were not clean. It had a bad smell.
- 2/5
The bathroom wasn’t in great condition either — the bathtub clogged while I showered, causing water to pool around my feet. For the price of the stay, I expected much better standards of cleanliness and maintenance. I also didn’t realize the room came without a fridge or microwave, which made things a bit inconvenient. While that may have been my oversight, it added to the overall experience. The location is convenient and walkable, but unfortunately the room itself did not meet expectations. I hope the property considers improving cleanliness and general upkeep for future guests.
- 5/5
Room was spotless staff was great
- 1/5
We did not have breakfast. Nothing was mentioned to us about breakfast.
- 2/5
The room was awful. The price we paid was ridiculous. You could take a pee and brush your teeth at the same time the room was so small. Our room on the cruise we took was larger. No wash cloths in the room, no bag for the ice bucket. If I could I would ask for my money back. Plus it was right on the same block as a bunch of homeless.
- 4/5
The staff was really great and the hotel is in a great location. Very central and close to everything Miami has to offer. Of note, the hotel restaurant had some of the best food we had our entire trip. The Cuban sandwich and Plantain nachos were perfect.
- 3/5
language barrier was a main issue
- 3/5
Room was nice. Bathroom is very small. And elevators are just two for the amount of people staying ag the hotel and the many uses as this hotel is used by cruisers. The view is amazing and the hotel is very well situated as it’s near everything.
- 3/5
I would not recommend. The beds are small. The bathroom is really tiny. Like only 1 person can fit in there and it’s still crowded. Bed was comfortable but the air rattled and sounded like a low level vacuum cleaner all night.
- 5/5
Everything was great.
- 4/5
Everything normal like any other hotel. The elevator should have better operation at Check out time.
- 5/5
The room was clean. The staff were very polite and helpful. Over all a great stay and reasonable price.
- 3/5

- 5/5
Great service
- 5/5
The room was a dowm grade but it was still suitable for my needs. I didn't like I couldn't warm up my food but I understood the ambiance of the establishment. I slept great my bed was amazing. The staff was so nice, even the other guests were welcoming. I had a great stay. Everything I could've ever wanted or needed right at my fingertips.
- 1/5
Very disappointed. There is no parking on the property, the rooms are very small, and there’s no pool on-site. The elevators are a nightmare with extremely long waits — the hotel even texts guests about the delays after check-in. There are no ice machines on every floor, and the staff was not helpful when asked. The hallways had bed frames sitting out, creating a tripping and safety hazard. Multiple guests were complaining about not having clean towels. We will not stay here again.
- 4/5
AC was on but didn't seem to cool the room off very well. The staff was great, we where able to check in early. We also took advantage of thier bag drop off. That made it easier to check out the city without worrying about our bags. Johnny at the front desk was especially helpfull.
- 1/5
Elevators were a w sting game and crowded resulting in an earlier checkout. Room was open and had chemicals left in it from housekeeping’s bed was fashioned with “shims” to keep it balanced, mattress was dipped in and headboard was peeling pleather with mold on the walls. Restaurant was understaffed but kind. Water pressure in shower was terrible, coffee maker was full of old grounds for who knows how long and surfaces were caked with dirt and grime.
- 3/5
The room was okay, except the bathroom. The space was do tight, you could wash your face and use the restroom at the same time...not ideal.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Great service
- 2/5
Very disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this establishment
- 5/5
Extremely friendly staff! The security guy is a work horse doing more than just security, lol.
- 5/5
So close to everything. Clean. A very nice stay!
