Sheraton San Jose Silicon Valley

Old building. It’s giving, built in the 1980s with all of the original materials still in tact and not in a good way. The beds desperately need revamping, the head boards are scraped up from previous guests. I thought it was just one room but the hotel staff moved me to a different room shortly after checking in and the same scratches were on the new bed as well. The beds are really high. There is no fridge or microwave, and the unlabeled bottled water is questionable in the rooms. The tubs need remodeling. I didnt feel comfortable steppinginto the shower. There is plenty of parking the property has potential, it’s just severely outdated. The room tvs are large. Even the elevator buttons are old. I couldn’t wait to check out the next day.

I like how well kept the hotel is from the pool to the lobby and especially the rooms I’ve never had one complaint about while staying at the Milpitas Sheraton.

I was not aware of the parking fee until check-in. They do charge $20 per night for a parking permit and they deduct that from the deposit paid when checking in.

Front Office Staff: Debra, Jollyann, Jackie & Elena were very efficient and personable, professional, helpful, courteous & friendly during check-in, check-out & throughout our stay As elderly couple with mobility problems, the room upgrade was a welcome surprise that surely made our stay very pleasant & enjoyable. There’s nothing we didn’t like during this stay. It’s one of the best accommodations we have experienced in our years of visiting & staying Silicone Valley.

Safe and clean zone in Milpitas. Old room… popcorn ceilings and carpet. No refrigerator or courtesy bar. Ice machines on most floors didn’t work… I know I looked. Staff told me to go to top floor… yay that worked of course….meant for “club members”. For the price… I would do again in a pinch.

no complaints for price point. convenient if you have a car to get to local spots like great mall and local food. the property was on the older side. room was clean. service was good and welcoming. only complaint was the windows and doors weren't easy to open and stiff.

They gave me room 421 faucet was clogged all the time. I called front desk couple of times they sent someone to clean but faucet clogged again right afterwards. I could not brush my teeth nor clean my face nor wash my hands because water did not flush properly and did a mess.

We arrived pretty late but the check in process was quick and easy. The staff was hello and friendly. The room was clean and the view from the balcony was amazing. Unfortunately the complimentary breakfast is not offered on the weekends. Other than that everything was great. We have no major complaints. We will definitely book a room here again in the future.

Quick trip to visit family. Hotel is great and has the appearance of an upscale facility. When checking in they provided the wrong room but quickly fixed telling me they gave me an upgrade. The upgrade turned out to be the suite I had booked! The toilet was broke and ran constantly, the lid on top was rounded instead of the square top required making it very noisy. Towel hook feel off back of door when towel hung. Otherwise very nice, they charge excessive money for parking of which there is no shortage or security!

Stay was great! the front staff were so nice an welcoming. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite which was very comfortable. The AC worked very well. The beds were very comfortable. The showers had big bottles of shampoo/conditioner and body wash in the shower which was convenient. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Great stay, would stay here again.

It was a large clean room, there were 5 of us. I adult and 4 older teens for a weekend to Great America. The suite fit us and we were very happy with the balcony and 2 big TVs.

Isn’t is parking should be part of the amenities. It shouldn’t be something a guest should have to pay. It’s not like we are in San Francisco.

Having tubs but not allowing guest to use them defeats the purpose of having a tub in your room. They have made it so you are unable to change from shower to tub for a bath.

There are no microwaves or refrigerators in your rooms which is a huge inconvenience. We are working at a job site all week and are not able to go home each night, hence why we stay in a hotel room.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Less than a quarter of a roll of toilet paper left with no extras. Mold and peeling paint in the shower. Nowhere to hang towels since the hook is missing and the bracket for the hook was barely screwed in with cardboard folded behind it.

Freindly staff and very clean. Our stay was only overnight and therefore we didn't have an opportunity to check out all the amenities.

I love it customer service is very good. The room was very clean beautiful looking forward to coming back with my kids, especially on the swimming pool.

I checked into my room and there was still hair in the shower so they gave me another room that had drawings on the headboard, carpet was coming apart, just everything felt dirty.

My car parked in your parking lot with your permission. The rear license plate was stolen in a night which I just found when I got home. That is totally terrible. No security guarantee at all. What a horrible the experience It’s so ridiculous!

Stayed two nights for a company meeting. The room was clean and well organized. Facilities and electronics are a bit outdated. The gym is way too warm for aerobics and I couldn't find where to adjust the temperature. Not a lot of fun places in the neighborhood. The high way nearby was quite noisy at night.

This was a very dirty hotel room, still found empty beer cans under nightstand, screen door leading to balcony was unattached and beat up with holes in screen, blood stains were on the sheets, weird green stains as well, uncomfortable sheets.

This drawn-out process, spanning from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m., was extremely frustrating and exhausting—particularly with kids in tow. The multiple room changes were not only inconvenient but also unacceptable for what was meant to be a relaxing staycation. The only compensation Sheraton offered was to waive my one night parking fee because I booked through a "third party".

The staff were very nice and accommodating. Our room was a bit dirty and dated. Several stains on the carpet, the headboard was a faux leather type material which was damaged/scratch severely like someone have tried peeling it apart. The sheets also had black stains in them and the bathtub drain did not drain very fast and backed up. Kinda gross.

A member of my direct family suffered a sexual attack, rendering us unable to attend a concert. The property refused to refund us.

Terrible check in process.

Room was extremely dirty. One of the check in staff was a bit rude. Walls and ceiling are thin so you can hear people in other rooms walking around.

While I understand I booked during a concert weekend, not having the room I booked be available and clean by 4pm (1 hour after check-in) and not apologizing, not giving a time-frame with when it would be clean and then offering a room that was nothing like the room we booked, was unacceptable. I specifically booked a suite with 3 beds and we were offered a room with a king bed and were told it would be the same price as the room we booked. I know that we were not the only ones experiencing this issue at check-in and that’s unfortunate.

Obviously check in was ridiculous cause of the event. But theres no reason for the rooms to not be ready when they have 5hrs to clean. And to top it off i had no towels ans the room wasn't even fully clean.

This is a great hotel and location! The staff was all very friendly and our room was clean. The pool was nice and the area itself had a lot of shopping and cute coffee shops! I would stay again.

My 1 bedroom suite felt very old. The headboard was sratched, the couch too dirty to sit on and a dresser drawer that doesn't close.

The location is great. Staff was great. The room was clean for the most part, but the curtains and shades were dirty. The property is outdated and needs updating. Overall it was good for a quick weekend trip.

Spacious and neat rooms with comfortable beds and amenities. Front desk was very friendly. Location is very convenient and quiet. Not walking distance to other activities or places but that's a decent trade-off for everything else the place has to offer.

Everything was perfect except there’s no microwave in any rooms and only a fridge in certain rooms. Wished there was a hot tub too.

The hotel is very old and shabby. Not staying this hotel anymore. The room is full of mold smell, and caused me allergy.

The property is somewhat dated. However, for the price it is a good deal. Well lit and plenty of parking. They do charge $17.50 for overnight parking. Not sure why.

The Ladies at the front desk was extremely friendly. She offered me a crib and had a fridge brought up to our room. Our floor was quiet and our room was clean.

I am very disappointed with my stay, I’ve always stayed at the Sheraton hotels for years in fact I always looks for this specific hotel but… this location in Milpitas needs more than a facelift, i booked for three days two nights on the first night when we arrive, the room was really hot. We turned on the air conditioner. Start making this weird loud noise called front desk two hours later the move us to another room. We had to move all our stuff from one room to another room on the new room, the sink faucet was not working.(couldn’t turn it off) We didn’t have hot water for our whole stayed . Then the water won’t turn off I called front desk they TOLD ME THAT MAINTENANCE LEFT FOR THE DAY and if I could manually turn the water off from under the sink, The bathtub faucet doesn’t work either. No mini fridge no microwave in the rooms, extra charge upon request.$15 extra per parking. Terrible experience. I was there for a funeral I was to stress to deal with all the room malfunctions.

They put us next to a worn out utility room/area. Bed was comfy, room was clean, toiletries were nice but paying for parking was not something we expected.

Missing this Hotel No ice machine it is broken, no small fridge at room, no microwave room and no free parking they charge separate my payment. next time be careful and check properly before reserved hotel. Learn lesson my experience.

The hotel is old and tired and very much in need of a facelift. However the rooms are large and accommodated us perfectly. It was a good location to have a good look around San Jose.

For a Sheraton ; this place feels old and dirty. Sink was broken, dirty and sticky walls. They didn’t clean my room in two days. The feeling was like I was staying in a Motel

Room was neat and clean but it did show its age, especially in the washroom the fit and finish was dull. Taps were loose and would take a bit of efforts to get closed completely. Also, I observed some rust formation over the bathtub tap along with some draining issues. Overall, it was a good experience.

Not much to do in the immediate area a lot more industrial than I expected, our room was dark and only one switch for entry light all others needed to be switched on manually. Our TV was broken had to move after we had already settled in which was not ideal. No real amenities, no mini fridge in rooms. Rooms/bathrooms a bit outdated and the only outlet in the bathroom did not work.

We have always stayed at this Sheraton over that last 30yrs. This last visit, the room felt dated. Bathroom was poorly kept up and the shampoo dispenser products were terrible.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. Upon entering the room, we did not feel the room was cleaned. Carpet was dirty and not vacuumed. Ceiling had mold and dirty spots. Overall, we didn’t enjoy our stay.

Shower flooded with water as the water drained too slowly. We were locked out of the room at 11am although the check out time was 12 pm and I had asked permission to vacate late.

The room was really nice. The staff was even better. Visiting for the game, the location was very convient for everything.

Worst place to stay… We won’t be staying here again. Our room was filthy and dirty. The bedsheets had stains, towels had stains and even the pull out bed had crumbs and stains. Our fridge had like juice stains on the bottom and it didn’t even work.

Ice machine was broken,I had to go to third floor to get ice. Carpet in room was dirty and stains were visible. Bath tub had mold.

The price for the hotel is too expensive especially when the hotel looks so outdated. They don't maintain the luxury feel anymore. It's so dark in the parking lot because of broken street parking lights, even inside the hotel, there are a lot of burned-out light bulbs. The bathroom is so outdated. My generous 4-star was just because the front desk lady who helped me was very friendly and accommodating, other than that I would have given this hotel a lower rating.
